Absolutely outstanding. We were in town for one night before a cruise and decided on Rafaello’s because it was within walking distance of our hotel and had received good reviews online. It actually exceeded my expectations. I ordered the lasagna, which was enormous and had great flavor. My wife ordered the chicken parm, which came with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables. Everything was delicious. The meals included bread, salads and a surprise complimentary appetizer of marinated peppers and bruschetta. Service was excellent. Ambiance was perfect for an Italian restaurant. Prices were surprisingly affordable given the quality and quantity of food. I’m blown away. If I lived nearby it would be my go-to restaurant for Italian food. Even met the owners and family. Treated us to spumoni for dessert. I’m not used to restaurants exceeding my expectations. This one did. Great job Rafaello’s!!!

The absolute best Italian food I have ever eaten. The service was so good, they brought me everything I needed without me ever having to ask. They even gave us a free dessert since we were on our honeymoon. Could not have been better, and the owner of the restaurant greeted us himself as we came in. Hands down best restaurant experience of my life.

We will definitely be back. The service here is spectacular. All the staff are hardworking and have really good energy. The portion size here is no joke. We got the lobster ravioli and vongole. Both dishes were amazing. We have tasted many vongoles in LA, and this place is #1 so far. The lobster ravioli sauce was so rich and creamy, and the ravioli had real chunky lobster meat inside. They also give you a salad with your meal, and some appetizers + bread on the house. I'm so glad we came here!

A gem in San Pedro. This was a delightful surprise, the atmosphere was very nice, the service was great and the food amazing! Both dishes were flavorful; the shrimp were perfectly cooked-very tender and delicate; the chicken in the Marsala was cut-with-a-fork tender and juicy. The accompanying mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables were an added bonus. The cabbage in the mixed vegetables was superb! If you’re ever in the area you have to stop in-it will not disappoint!

Had a great meal and attentive service. What more can you ask for? To start, Bruschetta with roasted peppers was a nice surprise. The salmon was grilled perfectly and the Mare e Monti ( penne pasta with shrimp and mushroom) was on point. And a nice green salad was served with our meals. When we're in San Pedro, will definitely go back.

San Pedro stable. Portions are large more like family style. Their soup is always fresh and delicious. The salad complimenting the entrees is nice. A majority of the dishes especially the pasta are great. Their seafood dish isn't the best though. Their mash potato is unique and interesting.

A very calm and relaxing location. We had business lunch meeting here 2 days ago. From the service to the food, everything was wonderful. My business friend is kind of an old friend of the place so everyone knows him in the restaurant. We kind of gotten extra attention I guess. But overall I fell this place is very authentic and the restaurant has been around for so many years, you can feel the employees probably been around so many years as well. Great place! I thank my friend for taking me here.

This is an Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere. On the night we visited, we saw the waiters singing happy birthday to customers many times. It was obvious that everyone liked to celebrate here. The dishes are rich in flavor, the shrimp meat is very fresh, and the service is excellent, which is worthy of appreciation.

Raffaello Ristorante offers a cozy ambience and reasonable prices. The menu is old-school, but the food is ample and nicely traditional. We were there on a busy night during the holiday season, so the service felt a bit rushed, but we appreciated the inviting atmosphere, good value, and generally helpful staff.

cozy place in San Pedro.. service was really good very attentive (Giorgio)🤗 started off w/ complimentary bread w/butter & veggies.. next our salads & mozzarella sticks (appetizer) mm 😋 he had lasagna & for me eggplant parmesan.. we both liked our food, although mostly everything was packed to go lol bread, mozzarella sticks & our entrees 😅🫢 it was just too much food, but we tried everything.. i would definitely return.. happy camper 🤠

The atmosphere is nice, well polished. Many tables were available, but we were placed at a table at the kitchen entrance which was noisy and busy with attendants rushing by our table. Our waiter was a bit abrupt. The fact we didnt order drinks or wine seemed to irritate our server. Delivery of the bill was arduous as well as getting our payment picked up. I walked to the entrance to pay the bill. We were surprised to see a mandatory "Service charge" and the now standard request for 20-40% for a tip. The food was extremely salty not to mention slathered in what I consider a heavy supermarket style red sauce as opposed to what I thought would be true italian sauce. If I wanted an olive garden experience, I would have visited that establishment. Based on the poor service and the quality of the food, I would avoid thos establishment. Not worth the money or the spike in blood pressure from the overall experience.
