My wife and I celebrated our wedding here in August, and after looking at several venues, I chose Mesón de San Vicente for its professionalism and flexibility in adjusting everything to our needs. The decor was spectacular, both in the hall and in the garden with the lights, where guests were constantly taking photos. Dinner was also exquisite, and the cheese stand was an incredible touch, and we recommend it to everyone. In the end, we had an unforgettable day and ended it with a great party with DJ Alejandro, whom the Mesón hired for us. Since we had several guests from different cultures, he knew how to entertain everyone. We celebrated a baptism, and the overall experience was very positive. The staff treated us extremely well, showing great flexibility in accommodating our last-minute changes. We were also able to enjoy a dedicated room, which added a touch of privacy and comfort to the celebration. The rice dishes were delicious, and there were certainly plenty of drinks available. However, there was one aspect that prevented the experience from being perfect. Despite the 23 people, only one waiter was assigned to serve us. Although the waiter did an exceptional job considering he was alone, the lack of staff was noticeable. On several occasions, we had to get up to find him and ask for drinks, which led to moments when we were left without service. It was somewhat surprising that, given the only celebration of the day, there wasn't more staff available. It's important to emphasize that this inconvenience was not the fault of the waiter, who did his best. Despite this minor issue with the drinks service, the rest of the celebration went smoothly and we were very satisfied.

This restaurant has been operating for decades in San Vicente del Raspeig, specifically on its outskirts, in an area that was once farmland and is now a residential area of ​​scattered chalets. Over the years, they've modernized and expanded their facilities. They have a very large parking lot inside. To the side and rear, there's a garden area with sofas, loungers, and a bar that they use for special parties and events. They also often hire makeup artists, storytellers, and children's entertainers on some weekends, and on special dates, the kids have a great time in the garden area. The quality/price ratio is more than acceptable, even on special occasions like Christmas. Customer service is very good, and the restaurant is very spacious. There are private areas for family groups or corporate events. The place is ideal for a leisurely stroll, and the newly designed bike routes and adapted sidewalks make it easy to walk off your lunch.

A very bad experience. My children invited me to lunch, but they couldn't find another place to book. Of course, if I had to recommend a place to eat to someone, this would be one of the last. There were eight of us, and there were three other tables in the dining room. The service was very poor, slow, and forgetful, but the quality and preparation were terrible. The croquettes were bad and oily, and the garlic shrimp were good. We ordered two with lobster rice, two with seafood gazpacho, and two with fideuá. I tried the latter two and they were inedible, especially the gazpachos. For dessert, I ordered watermelon that was completely overcooked. I won't say any more. The positive thing is that they have a very large parking lot and space for small children, but I won't return or recommend it to anyone.

Update. The food is good, but it's quite expensive, especially for celebrations. The service at my nephew's communion was a complete mess. They were serving plastic bottles of Aquarius for almost €90 per person, and as soon as we arrived, we asked for it for the children, and they told me they didn't think there was any left. People were going from room to room, even though the only shared space was the outside patio, since each room has its own exit. We had children from another room and their mothers making a nuisance of themselves with balloons during the meal. I called the waiters and the manager several times, but nothing was done. The drinks for the mixed drinks, made with the alcohol that customers brought themselves, were freshly prepared because the meal finished after 5:30. They took them away almost unopened, even though they had already paid for them. I know this because they even took the half-empty glasses, like mine, and all this without warning. If you need more details, just let me know. I still think it's a complete disappointment for celebrations. I can't comment on lunches or dinners because I haven't been there. All the best.

We went on Mother's Day, and look, the place is nice and the tables are spacious, but the food is poor in taste and quality, and the portions are very, very small. The clearest example of raising a reputation and going to sleep. We paid €36 per person with two drinks, no dessert or coffee, and we were quite hungry. The egg dish was two eggs and a bit of ratatouille, the grilled squid was awful in flavor, and a tiny portion for €16. Octopus, which was neither flavorful nor textured nor firm, and the rice was super salty and chewy, plus it didn't have a single lump in it and the portion was tiny.

Es una lástima con lo que ha sido siempre este restaurante que hayan hecho una Nochevieja tan decadente la comida escasa la bebida escasa no había sidra para para brindar en la entrada del año mi esposa se pidió un vermut en la comida y le dijeron que no había pero eso no entraba mi madre se que pidió una copa sin alcohol le dijeron que no tenía nada de alcohol mi cuñado se quiso tomar una copa de whisky bueno aunque tuviera que pagarlo le dijeron que no había y así constantemente el café no sirvieron café sirvieron café granizado una vergüenza para una cena de Nochevieja , no he tenido nunca ninguna queja y realizado varias noches viejas allí pero la de este año ha sido un total desastre los baños están rotos no funcionan las cisternas en la puerta del baño de inválidos no cierra está rota y así todo las instalaciones muy dejadas lo siento mucho pero cuando se hace bien una cosa bien pero en este caso ha sido una verdadera vergüenza lástima de 100 euros pagados

CASUAL AND SHAMELESS. My parents are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary this August, and they chose this place again. It was where they got married in 1982, and where their children were married and their grandchildren were baptized. They reserved the date four months before the event. And two months before the celebration, they called my parents and told them they couldn't celebrate there because they were closing that day. The excuse they gave my parents was that they were giving their employees time off that day so they could go to the beach. They could have come up with any other excuse, to be honest. Besides, my parents paid a €200 deposit, but the restaurant didn't have proof of payment, which is why they doubted my parents and asked for a receipt since they had no proof that they had left any money. Thankfully, they had the invoice and the bank statement, and they were able to recover it. Now that we've emerged from the pandemic restrictions and everything is returning to "normal"... an event for 12 guests is irrelevant to them... It's a shame, really. We won't hold an event here again, nor will we recommend it, as you risk cancellation and losing your reservation money.
