Great fish and chips, portion sizes are HUGE! We had the small and it was big dread to think what the others are like! Great service overall recommended !

This is a truly great place if you want to eat fish and chips. I've got to admit that on my first visit our meals exceeded expectations. The fish (cod for me and skate for my wife) were both delicious. Served piping hot on hot plates with light, thin and crispy batter. The chips were also perfectly fried and nice and crispy, not like the soggy mess you get a most chip shops. This is not a sophisticated place and it doesn't pretend to be, it's a fish and chip restaurant and they are good at it. I will be back. Recommended.

Lovely modern dine in fish and chip shop, very clean and staff friendly and helpful. The food was delicious, possibly even better than back in the UK, and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Our plaice had been recommended to us by friends we called in today to try the fish and chips . WOW. Unbelievable i have never had fish and chips as good in Spain this is a hidden gem and a place to try out . The staff were so friendly and the restaurant was spotless we will definitely be back .😁😁😁

Visited last night. Went there on a reccomendation. Very impressed. Food cooked to order. It may take a few seconds longer, but well worth the wait. Everything was totally fresh. Fish, chips tasted good, chips and fish batter were spot on. Food was hot. Waiting time absolute minimal, service excellent. Good friendlu, chatty and smiley servers. The place was nicely decorated, modern and spotlessly clean. Tables and chairs very clean and trendy and Toilets very clean. General cleanliness all over excellent. We have used another well known chippy in Quesada... but this place knocks spots off it on price, service, cleanliness etc. Here your hands dont stick to the table cloths or chair backs or menu because of surface dirt. Alot of chippy shops could learn alot from these people on how to do it and deliver excellent service. Visit again, definite. Tell friends also. Prces for 3 of us. 3 x Medium Cod (good sized), Chips, 3 x Drinks was 38 euros.

Visited 'Our Plaice' while on holiday in Spain last week. We were welcomed with a very bubbly and friendly service. The food was just brilliant, the haggis is to die for! Better yet, it didn't leave that shameful greasy aftertaste you quite often get after a typical chippy! It's such a pity we don't live in Spain, would kill for a chippy like this back home in Scotland! Thank you to everyone for such a wonderful meal! X

Went on 20th September for lunch. Four of us had the special. Beautiful flaky fish cooked to perfection, with crispy edged fluffy centred chips. Smashing meal, good service too. The lad is helpful with nothing too much trouble.

We have a well known fish and chip shop on our doorstep but it is nowhere near as good as Our Plaice for quality of food and service. It is well worth making the trip over there, make sure you book before you go.

Haven't been to Our Plaice due to circumstances but went yesterday with family, although some of the staff had changed they were friendly and just as good as the ones before. The food was excellent, we all had fish and chips fish was succulent and delicious with a light and crispy batter chips homemade and tasty. Looking forward to the next time.

Probably the best haggis and chips I’ve ever had! (This is coming from a scotsman.) The portions are huge so make sure you’re very hungry. Most importantly though, the food is cooked to order and perfection. The batter on the haggis was light and very crispy, the chips were grease free and double fried. Had a taste of my friends fish and again just perfect. Toilets very clean and smell great. Service was fun and friendly. Looked like a busy little place when we were there. All in all 10/10 from us.

Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! They are definitely not cheap on their portion sizes. ordered a regular size portion and the fish filet was bigger than the L portions back home in the uk. The batter was perfectly light and not over powering and the fish fillet it self melted on your tongue. If I could give more stars I would! Highly recommend.

Lesley your an amazing host. The resteraunt is done out beautifully / it's clean and spacious. The fish was cooked as it should be 'perfectly' / the best we've had in a year in Spain. Chips / mushy peas just as they should be / first mushy peas we've had here that were done correctly. So few get the fish perfect so we're well impressed. A lovely lemon cheese cake with ice cream. Recently moved to the area and called in last night! My husband confirmed these are the BEST FISH AND CHIPS he’s had in many years! I had mince and onion pie with a few chips off my husbands plate as I don’t eat a lot of chips ….. big mistake!!! I certainly will be order my OWN portion next time as these were freshly cooked chips and not the frozen kind you get in many restaurants! Service by Ryan , Annie and ALL other staff members was absolutely excellent. They all went beyond the normal service. We will definitely return again ‘very soon’ as we need to try everything else on their menu. We rated this restaurant 12/10 as it was absolutely EXCELLENT.

Very good food served with the best chip shop chips I have ever eaten. In one of the cleanest establishments I have eaten in. Unfortunately, we only found this Plaice on our last day in the area, but we are already looking forward to our return later this year when we shall be able to enjoy more of this very good food. 👍

We’ve been to Our Plaice several times now on our travels to Spain. Without a doubt they do the best fish and chips! Cooked to perfection and there’s a great menu selection. Highly recommend booking a table here, you will not be disappointed. We’re always pleasantly surprised at the prices too, certainly compared to the UK. Aside from the fantastic food, the restaurant is lovely. We sat inside on this occasion but they also have an outdoor terrace for the warmer months. The staff were very welcoming and the service impeccable. This “plaice” is well worth a visit!

We have been here many times and never disappointed. The fish is just the best there is. You can travel, but not find better. Food is served piping hot and freshly cooked. The interior is smart, trendy and clean. Service is friendly and efficient and prices very keen. It's a very popular restaurant so it might be worth booking a table, but not essential. It's a must visit for us every time we are in the area.

Have just visited Our Plaice in La Marina for the first time. Great place and I loved the clean, fresh atmosphere. It's a perfect size so you feel welcome and comfortable. The staff are really friendly too. The meal looked lovely when it arrived. I had fish and chips which were superb with the right amount of crisp to the fish batter and the chips. At last count I have experienced this dish in no less than 30 countries most recently in London. When I go for a chippy, I look for quality of the fish, a light crisp golden batter, fish that is moist but not greasy, and chips that are golden and crunchy on the outside but maintain the fluff and flavor on the inside. I ordered a large cod, my wife selected a regular ( I go for large as they usually give a thicker cut allowing a better sense of the quality of the fish) I was shocked at the portion that arrived, the fillets were massive, not one but two pieces of perfectly golden and crisp fish on a bed of expertly fried chips. The flavor was perfectly balanced, I would have to say this was early in the top three fish and chips I have ever had in my life. Go to this bastion of batter and go hungry.

Lovely skate and chips. Served quickly without fuss. Had trouble paying by card though as bad signal in area. Have to check in morning in case paid twice. Non the less they assured me I would be repaid if that was the case.

The all white furniture made the place look cold and unfriendly, although that wasn't the case, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The fish and chips were well done and tasty.

Great and friendly service! Food was really good too! Inside there was AC so keeps you cool in the hot weather. Would definitely recommend! I would only say that the jacket potato needed larger portion of sides as there was not enough beans for the size of the potato.

A little out the way for me and a fifteen minutes run in the car, but worth it. Pleasant and friendly staff and the fish and chips were far superior to a fish and chips restaurant much closer to my residence. Fish 'n chips. We had both cod and haddock and they were both nice and the service was friendly and quick. Mushy peas in the menu option weren't my thing, but it was ok.. Would've preferred gravy as an option instead I think and won't opt for the menu again. Chips and the batter was lovely. Fish a little on the small side for the 10€ I think, but it was very delicious.

We visited as a party of 4 on Friday evening. this was our second visit & we found the food & service very good. the young man that looked after us was polite informative & given the amount of customers in at the time did well. we all decided to have the cod with chips, mushy peas etc. A few things however did let it down in my own opinion ( may be out of their control at the time ) the lack of any decent air conditioning became apparent as we all struggled to keep cool & to be fair this did effect our level of comfort. I was supprised by this as the room was very well done out & modern after its recent refurbishment.They do have fans dotted around but not really good enough as all they do is blow the warm air & are not that hygienic also the power kept going off every couple of minutes. I also had a pint of draught Heineken that I had to return due to poor quality ( hazy with an off taste & smell ) I had it replaced for another draught brand but it was still charged on the bill until I brought it to the attention of the server & it was taken off the final bill. We would return but only if air conditioning is sorted out. Please do not take these comments as negatives but just points to be considered for your customers comfort & well being Thank you

When you enter the restaurant you are presented with a stylish interior of cream and turquoise and subdued lighting. But reality kicks in when you ask for food. All I asked for was 2 bags of chips to take away. I was still waiting 1/2 hour later. Unfortunately this restaurant is all style and no substance. Much better restaurants on the urbanisation.

If this is your idea of experiencing food abroad, then you'll most probably love it. We got as far as looking inside, and decided it was far too "British Chippie".

How can you run a fish and chip rrstaurant if you have no cooked products to sell to your customers. Earlier today a family of five waited long for their eat in meal My wife ordered a fish and chips which took 25 minutes to prepare. I was sitting in my car in 45C temperatures waiting for my wife. All of this is less than acceptable. The place is a joke badly managed and will fail in this area. At 6pm tonight they had a total of 6 customers and couldn't cope,God only knows what will happen if this restaurant is ever full. SOORY but this is a bad choice!

Ordered by phone 2 chicken pie and chips with gravy. Picked up order. Arrived home and sat down to eat. Discovered the bag with our order in contained 2 portions of chips and only one pie. No gravy. At over €21 a portion of chips and a pie are very very expensive. We did ring to complain but we're told they were very sorry and our missing pie was still at shop. Not surprisingly we will not be going to this shop again.

Arrived at the restaurant to be ignored. After eventually finding a table ourselves, another customer had to borrow us their menu’s which we were waiting around 20 minutes for. No air-con & the chefs pulled the fish from the freezer. Eventually decided to leave after a further 10 minutes of no service. Wouldn’t recommend. 👎🏻 Only positive was it looked nice & clean.

Well what can one say. We have eaten here and been impressed. Not tonight arrived at 7.40pm, they close at 9pm 3.5 empty tables, yet to be cleaned. Asked if we could have a table for 2. The man said yes outside, it's 12 degrees outside. So you can bet we left. They could have said if you'd like to wait we can seat you in 5- 10 minutes but no, just told to sit outside. We are not complaining about their food, it is good just the way we were treated, when they could have said but DID NOT that the tables were reserved or that they had no chips left but they just said sit outside.
