What a great lunch. They have a huge outdoor patio or a cozy interior to choose from. We enjoyed a delicious charcuterie board among the four of us. Our entrees were delicious and the staff was cordial and friendly. A great place to enjoy a meal.

This place was super busy and we sat outside, very close to others. However, the drinks were well made and food so good, you didn't notice anyone else since the concentration was towards our plates. Good appetizers, too. Reservations recommended during the summer months. Street parking is a challenge but we got lucky. Make sure you leave time to find or wait out a space during popular dining times.

Only their second night open and they are hitting every mark. Great service, atmosphere (we ate outside but the new remodeled space inside was beautiful) and the food was sublime. We are picky about our fish and both the salmon and halibut were excellent. Also really appreciate the selection of tap beers, cocktails and wines available. Both the GM and chef came out to ask for our feedback, a big change from the prior management. Very excited to have a new and creative fine dining (but not too expensive) restaurant on CVR.

Are here every day over three days for at least one meal. The drinks were great and the food as well. Over the course of my stay I had the Oysters, Lobster Gnocchi, and French Onion Soup. I really want to try to avocado risotto! Maybe next time. Also @Shawn behind the bar. Thanks for your great service.

We went to the restaurant as a party of 5 and all ate different dishes. The food was delicious… we all very much enjoyed our meals. The service was exceptional and the outdoor seating area was a lovely relaxing place to eat.

The only thing I know for sure is that the Caesar Salad at Coast & Olive is like nothing you have ever tasted! So different and so delicious! The chef, Dayveon (what a nice guy), knows what he's doing. I highly recommend it. Kobi, the manager, is also terrific and understands great customer service. The restaurant is part of The Montecito Inn. The food, in my opinion, is one of "The Best of the Best" on Coast Village road in Montecito. And after seeing photos posted from other reviews, I look forward to trying some other things on the menu! :-)

My wife and I celebrated our 40th anniversary with a fine and relaxing dinner at Coast & Olive. Our food was excellent as was the service. The atmosphere was a perfect blend of comfortable casual in a delightful upscale decor.

Loved our girls’ day brunch at Coast & Olive! We were on the patio and enjoyed live music, mimosas and a variety of selections from the brunch menu. Food, service and location (at the Montecito Inn) all get 5 stars!

Great lunch spot and for weekend brunch. Menu recently changed but they used to have a very good truffle pappardelle. They still have an excellent tempura cauliflower, very good kids menu, delicious cocktails, and fresh brewed iced tea. Food tends to be a little under salted for my taste and the lemonade is a little less sweet than my kids prefer but definitely not a problem. My wife loves the Mamba cocktail (it's purple and gold but that's not why she loves it)

Located in the Montecito Inn right on the corner in the cute village of Montecito. We stopped here as we were out for a leisurely day of bike riding from Ventura to Santa Barbara and wanted to have an appetizer and a drink. The outdoor patio caught our eye, along with the many tables that were open. I walked into the restaurant to ask if we could be seated outside and the hostess informed me that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes (at 3PM) and if we wanted to order any food we had to do so quickly. That was going to work out for us so we found a place to park our bikes and sat down. The menu that was given to us was the brunch menu which was limited on appetizer choices. However, we found a charcuterie plate that we thought would work for us. We ordered that along with 2 Aperol spritzers and 2 beers. When we received the charcuterie board it seemed quite smaller than what we have been accustomed to. There was 10 slices of hard meats, 2 pieces of 3 different cheeses, 5 crostini pieces, 2 figs, 2 dried apricots, small slice of honeycomb and some pecans. (The menu said there'd be Marconi almonds and pecans were included instead) The cheeses and hard meats were of good quality and were fresh. I did like the honeycomb, which was excellent with the cheese. After he put down the plate he told us the kitchen was closing and if we wanted anything else we had to order it then. Because the charcuterie plate wasn't looking like it would be enough food we decided to order the duo dips. The dips, delivered pretty fast after ordering, were served nice and hot with a hefty basket of flatbreads. The two dips were smoked pimiento cheese and the other was an artichoke dip. The pimiento dip was very tasty but had a thick layer of oil on top, which didn't stop us from eating it (cheese is full of fat so it wasn't too much of a surprise). This was my son's favorite thing that we ordered. The artichoke dip was primarily artichokes with a little bit of fresh spinach leaves, red peppers or tomatoes (hard to tell) and what tasted like some melted cheese. We all liked that it wasn't laden with a creamy sauce like many of the artichoke dips we are used to. This dip was fresh, simple and delicious. On the menu it did mention that the duo dip plate included truffle oil. I didn't see any truffle oil that was served. Maybe I misunderstood what it meant with it being part of this dish. Truffle oil on the flatbread, maybe? One of the reasons why I rate this a 3.5 star (I put 4 but only because there aren't half stars) is because of the service. Our waiter kept coming by asking to clear our charcuterie board when there was food still on it, coming by wanting to clear our plates, bread basket, etc. when we were still eating. We felt almost like he wanted to clear our table so he could leave. Perhaps that wasn't the case but we felt that way. I do appreciate when servers clear plates when we are done but I do not appreciate feeling rushed through either. The second reason why I rated it this way was simply for the price we paid for what we received. Granted, we are in Montecito and the prices are much higher than other areas. I get and understand that. However, I still felt they were a bit high. Would I visit here again? Probably not. For the price we paid, a "WOW" experience is what would justify a reason for going back. A "WOW" experience is not what we experienced.

Drinks: Great! Best I’ve had in a long time, lavender martini and about bloody thyme were exquisite, parter liked the guava margarita (can’t remember exact name) Appetizer: we got the dip duo, and it way surpassed expectations, best artichoke and pimento dips I’ve probably ever had Entrees: I had the filet ragú pasta which was phenomenal. Partner had the scallops. Scallops themselves were delicious, but neither of us really liked the risotto. I don’t know if our palates weren’t sophisticated enough for saffron risotto, but neither of us found it enjoyable. Dessert: 😬lava cake had no lava, and no raspberries on top like other tables. Our great server refunded, but disappointing for an anniversary dinner. Worst part of the meal for sure

Just OK. Food and cocktails were on point. Location is nice and atmosphere is great. The service really put a damper on our visit. If we are paying $25 for “bottomless” mimosas EACH, it is my understanding that glasses should never sit empty for 5+ minutes. Our server was friendly and polite, however inattentive and chatty with her friends. The worst part is there were maybe 6 tables in the entire restaurant (inside/out). However delicious the food was or tasty the cocktails were, the slow service and high price combo will make it unlikely we come back. A huge shame.

I was here for lunch with my husband and one of my best friends. It was moderately busy but we were immediately seated. Although there were at least three servers working and at least three other staff, it was twenty minutes before we were even acknowledged. Our server got us water and took our orders. We had the Montecito omelet, chicken and waffles, and a blue crab cake benedict. Our food was originally delivered to another table, but fortunately those diners (who hadn't ordered anything yet) redirected our food to our table. The food was so-so. My eggs were slightly burned but the mushrooms were flavorful. My husband's chicken and waffles tasted as if the waffles had been frozen and then heated up but his chicken was decent. My friend's benedict had a lot of dill, drowning out the flavor of the crab cake. The food and service could both be described as mediocre but passable. It's unlikely we would return.

Cute place, but brunch was a bit lack luster. Coffee wasn't great. Some flaccid pancakes and overcooked bacon. I mean the egg dishes were well made. So it wasn't all bad. Service was a bit odd, waiter was very slow to do any action. Seemed to be moving in slow motion.

I would love to give positive words here, but unfortunately can only do it to their popcorn as of now. I ordered the only vegetarian entry they had - mushroom pasta. It sounded good, and the waitress said it is yummy. It turned out to be a very heavy dish full of mainly pasta with pretty plane heavy sauce and just a couple of mushrooms - not even enough for the flavor. I tried to force myself to like it, but couldn’t. So I decided to leave it without finishing even a quarter of it. When I politely mentioned to the server that it was not good, she said “sorry about it” and than brought me the bill. I couldn’t believe she charged me for such meal that I couldn’t eat. Back when I was a student I also worked at many restaurants, and good places always trained their stuff to wave dishes that guests didn’t find delightful. I guess the management here needs to pay attention to it.

Food and wine were great. As far as service, taste, execution and timing. BUT how do you rate the restaurant if they seat you by the door in the empty restaurant in the chill weather with door being constantly left open? And you ask for the other table right away..response: “all tables are reserved.” Well, by the time we finished our dinner, those tables were still empty. Oh.. one more thing.. no one offered us “Valentine’s specials” either..
