Nice place for Happy Hour, fair pricing. Nice outdoor side patio, nice food menu and friendly staff. First time in 8 months that I went outside for Happy Hour, glad we did! Stay safe and wear your mask!!!

This is the best bar in Santa Barbara .....but it s more than a bar, Great food (the pizza alone is worth the drive) wood fired meats, 22 tv’s (that’s right) great patio, best Sunday football in the county......kick back in the day and classy at night, this is the best kept secret in town. Great upper state location. The staff is fantastic !! I honestly tried to find a fault.... so take an Uber, or get dropped off , or walk cause parking is limited......”snappy clean place with everything u need , including a piano!’

Hadn't been here before but met up with a few friends for drinks before dinner one night and was super impressed. Couches with TV's in back, great cocktails with decent prices inside, super nice staff and they serve what looked like great food! Didn't try it but did eye a few dishes while I was there. I think I remember them having some nice looking pool tables too.

Great bar! Fun staff, reasonably priced, and they had good live music on the Friday night I went. Outdoor seating area is awesome for chilling.

This joint was fabulous. Great fun great music great food. Very comfortable open air feeling also outdoor patios. There is parking on the street as well as in back if it's not full. I came to hang out and listen to some music. I ordered their tacos off of their is there happy hour menu I got one vegetable which was the bomb and a tritip equally as good but I have to say the vegetable was beyond on point for vegetarians. I think it was the house sauce and the way they grilled in this election it just was amazing on the palate. Also servers are gracious and pleasant. Food also came out really fast. Music was Engaging entertaining and fun. I highly recommend checking the place out oh best thing prices extremely reasonable.

Stopped in to watch the NFC championship. Clean, well put together bar. Great service. Will be sure to always stop by when I’m in town.

I've been slowly making this my regular spot since it's one of the few bars in SB that caters to regulars. The outdoor space is so cozy, the service is great, and there's a couple pool tables and good food. Jess is awesome, definitely pay her a visit!!

They have the best french fries I think I've ever tasted! The drinks are a little pricey but I was with family and friends so I had an absolutely great time!

Great spot for Oysters and Cocktails. It's a bit hard to find, they have a sort of boring front door with little/no signage. Amazing mama. Amazing service.

Loud for my tastes, but good beer selection (most $6 including Guinness), and there's a back patio that's much quieter.

Uptown Lounge is off the hook! Group Element performed at the spot with plenty of local vibe. This is a cool relaxed place. Anyone coming into SB, go by and visit this place.

In door and outdoor seating. Snack menu of things like hot dogs and pizza. Occasionally has music on weekends.

This place has gotten so much better since the new owners took over. Looking forward to seeing it grow!

Four "Lounge" stars. Decent bar. Yummy appetizers. Yuppie clientele but we go anyway because the live bands are usually pretty darn good and we love to dance. Nice comfy back patio . Two pool tables but not much elbow room. We make it fun.

Friendly staff. Full bar. The area where this place really shines is both in their slightly more upscale liquor selection as well as a very refined food menu. Excellent pizzas and a variety of other delectables that are well-above the typical bar fare. Prices are typical of Santa Barbara but you're getting very good quality for the money you spend. Nice spot to hang out if you like pool or music or cocktails.

The drinks we had were well made and the prices seemed about average for expensive SB. We enjoyed our eventing at the Uptown and we will return.

Too loud to talk, just barely trendy but too far from downtown for the college kids but not catered enough to the neighborhood, ie a lot of parents live two blocks away and might want to grab a drink or two. Also, the back patio is not heated in winter.

I'm here every Monday for Trivia. It took them awhile to be consistent with food and service, but they seem to have figure it out. I recommend getting the wings! They're different flavored, and they're all very tasty.

Alright. Beer taps could stand to be cleaned. They try hard but the place is always gonna be dark. Food is better than expected. About the only place in town you can sit on a patio and smoke.

This place should get a better rating, but it doesn't due to terrible service. Pros: free popcorn, two pool tables, great back patio with TV's, fun patrons and atmosphere. Cons: Service is suspect at best. Always feel like they are exhausted by my ordering a drink and they have to make it. Worse time is any day during Happy Hour. Terrible. Once my order was $14.50, gave them a $20 and got no change?? Asked and the guy thought the change should be his tip, so he kept it. I go because friends are there, it's close to my home and I the pool tables are not busy.

What happened to the chef?? Oh wait I left! I used to work for Uptown Lounge before I went beck to clunary school. The food has honestly gone down the drain. I got the Thai Chicken pizza, more like the Peanut Butter Chicken pizza! No thai chilli sauce very little cilantro! I know what it cost to make that PIE, don't charge people $22 for A horribly made pile of Dough and Peanut Butter. You need help! Maybe Bar Restoration! New Managment? Maybe if you took better care of your Kitchen staff it would show in the product they put out!

This place Closed down 3 weeks ago! I went last night to do karaoke and the place was locked up.. Went next door to a restaurant and they told me it had been closed down

There was no room at the bar and no apparent service waiting on the other seating areas. I stood at the bar for several minutes right in front of the bartendress while she was messing with her phone. When I finally got to place my order and it was obvious I would not be served at a table so I waited to be handed the drink. Did I want to run a tab, not without a major credit card!? I usually tip especially with friendly upbeat service, but in this case I declined. I should have gone to Harry's. Better drinks and better service. I won't be returning to the Uptown. Sometimes satisfying your curiosity is not worth the effort. In addition they turned up their music so loud I was forced to go outside.

We had a problem last time we went. The staff didn't serve us our 2 pizzas we ordered and paid for. We had a number. The cook said he served us but he really gave our food to someone else. Ray the bartender confronted me and tried to say I was lying. My boyfriend and him had words and we left without our money or food. I talked to Candice the owners daughter. She said they would give me a gift card but i had not gone in yet. This was our first time back and Ray came right away and started the whole thing over. He said do you remember what happened. I was very upset and uncomfortable. It was terrible.
