Had a mobile order today and my experience was perfect. Ordered the toasted cheddar chalupa deluxe box. Really enjoyed the new Brisk Dragon Paradise Sparkling Iced Tea, which was a really not-too-sweet grape drink(?) Not too sure, inhaled it though, refreshing on a hot Santa Clara day. The toasted cheddar chalupa was great but the cheddar didn't really stand out to me. The 5-layer burrito and crunchy taco that came with the combo were made just right. Everything tasted great 👍 simply good customer service, friendly, and really fast with the mobile order! All the times I've visited the lobby I just noticed the environment was nice and clean. My new go-to Taco Bell (did they add the drive thru recently? I must be tripping as I just noticed and used it) Perfect location near the City Library and park. Tacos are certainly welcome at picnics there.
I did not go here I was just nearby and Google thought I visited Taco Bell. Looked OK, I didn't see anyone getting sick or anything. I don't know what to say about this Taco Bell, nice enough building and they have a drive thru so you can be lazy and just get your poor quality food without even having to go in the store.
Best Taco Bell in the area! With chain restaurants and fast food, you hope to find reliability, especially when you’re tired and hungry or on the go. This location is unlike other Taco Bells! It’s been superior for years. Very clean and calm atmosphere. Always has friendly, hard-working service. The food is never sloppy, but always neatly packed. Hope management is proud of their team.
Fast easy pickup. There was A Line at the drive thru at around 2pm on Tuesday. Duh. So i parked and walked in for my Tuesday drops $1 App Order. The crunchwrap could have been grilled longer and definitely needed more beef. And FYI folks...don't order a cruchwrap for takeout. The cruchy corn tostada inside dissolved to mush in under 10 minutes. No longer bueno, IMO. Eat immediately And order extra meat for a tastier experience.
This location is a good vibe and a chill place. Everyone there is super cool and they always understand my orders. I'm a picky eater so that's important to me that my order is correct. If your in the area and hungry you should stop there.
If I can give this place more stars I would!! EVERY TIME I come here the interaction is 100% spot on! Even though I live closer and walking distance to the one on 3690 Steven creek blvd, I rather get in my car and drive here! Haven’t had a bad experience yet and this location always comes through! The people working the drive is always laughing and having a good time. Super quick and easy to deal with. Favorite location so far….they can close down 3690 Stevens Creek Blvd, they always seem unhappy and they look sad honestly.
Always prompt and quick. Very standard for Taco Bell, but this one is generally well kept and clean. I saw staff actively cleaning the area, something not seen at other Taco Bells I've been to.
I can never get enough of this place. I love going there on a Saturday morning to enjoy some coffee and the best donuts in the Bay Area. My personal favorites are the chocolate bar and glazed donuts but you honestly can’t go wrong with any. Picking up is sometimes a challenge because of the long line but it moves fast so not a big deal. They have a few seats to eat there so that’s what I always do.
I have attempted purchase donuts at stands on several occasions. Each time of on arrival the line was simply too long. I'm old. Waiting is something I can't afford to do. So I took a chance. Showed up at 1:00 in the afternoon. And lo and behold they had donuts available. Rare I know and they were everything that people say they were,! GREAT!!!
My daughters celebrated Christmas with me on Friday, 26 Dec. I made Wassail and got a dozen Stan's doughnuts. The doughnuts were a perfect combination with the Wassail and my adult daughters remembered having them years ago when they were small. My grandsons definitely enjoyed them. I've been going to Stan's doughnuts since 1970 when I was a student at Santa Clara University. It's wonderful that for 55 years, Stan's has been making great doughnuts from the same location. I am grateful that Stan's is still in operation and I highly recommend it. They open at 6 AM so I suggest going early as the line often overflows outdoors. Stan's only accepts cash - nothing plastic about them.
The BEST donut shop on the west coast -without question - especially if you are looking for taste and texture, not gimmicks. Glazed and cinnamon twists are excellent; even the old fashioned donuts are tasty (and they will keep surprisingly well over night). Bring cash and arrive early- even better, preorder and pickup without the wait or get a fresh donut served at the sit-down counter.
Please remember this place is cash only, but they have an ATM in the back. Apart from that I love it. If you're there for only 1-2 donuts you can skip the line, but getting a dozen is also worth it. The donuts are fresh, big, don't skimp on the frosting and they even have specialty stuff like maple bars, custard filled and so many others. They also have booth seating if you want to stay a bit. Yea, it can get cozy while you're waiting in line, but that's part of the experience. I paid $6.50 for the three I got and it was worth every penny.
Stans is the one and only donut shop! Their donuts are always hot and fresh i wish I could give more stars!!! AMAZING!!! Absolutely the best place to go for a hot donut made fresh right in front of you. This place is always packed but SOOOO worth the wait and line will go fast so don't leave!!! Also bring Cash they only take cash!
This place is considered to be the best donut place around town by many. In fact, during one of the wildfire seasons when everyone was advised to stay indoors because of the unhealthy air quality, I still saw a line of people waiting diligently outside with the red skies and visible ash in the air at 5:40am. That's dedication. Tbh 6am is a pretty late opening time for a doughnut shop around here. The line usually moves very fast even though it makes a snakey loop. I don't think I waited longer than 12 minutes even when the line was out the door. If you do pick-up, you don't need to wait in line. If you come early and get a freshly made, piping hot glazed donut, it makes all the difference. After it's been sitting for awhile, it is not as fluffy and the solidified sugar glaze tastes a little too sweet. I have bought these donuts for folks who thought everything was too sweet but the donut itself was super fresh. I personally think they are fine as I have tasted the sweetness of a Krispy Kreme. I love their banana buttermilk donut because I like banana desserts in general. They have different buttermilk flavors for different days. Cake donuts are usually my least favorite donuts but the ones here are some of the freshest I had. I can still recognize the creme de la creme even though I am not a fan. The only unimpressive donuts here are crullers; they are very meh and sometimes stale. They also have larger offerings of impressive size. I have also included some cinnamon rolls in the making for your reference. The box of donuts with the cinnamon roll was $13.90 which is really cheap these days. All the regular donuts are under $2. As for filled donuts, they have custard, jelly, cream, peanut butter, etc. I recently tried the lemon flavored Bavarian cream and that was pretty good. They have bar seating but no bathrooms for customers.
I really like Stan's Donut Shop. Their donuts are super fluffy and always taste fresh, which makes a big difference. You can tell they make them fresh daily. It's not a fancy place, but the quality of the donuts speaks for itself. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area and craving something sweet. On sunday, they also serve banana buttermilk donuts which taste like banana bread! It is also cash only! If you don't have enough, they have an ATM in the shop for you to withdrawal cash.
I think these are more of dessert-leaning donut than a breakfast donut! I’ll be coming here for every special occasion, or if I want a sweet treat :) The original glazed donuts are soft and dense. Even though ours weren’t fresh they could’ve fooled me, even room temp they were almost squishy soft. They were a bit more oily than other donuts. Honestly, I think one donut per person (maybe even half for those with a small appetite) is all you need because these donuts are so intense: they’re not super rich and heavy, but they are dense (yet still fluffy, I don’t know how they pulled that off). Service is fast and to the point. Cash only!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Glazed Masterpiece at Stan’s Donuts – Santa Clara If you're anywhere near Santa Clara and haven't been to Stan’s Donuts, you're seriously missing out on one of the Bay Area’s greatest treasures. While everything on their menu is worth a try, the real magic happens the moment you bite into one of their cake-like glazed donuts fresh out of the oil. These aren't your average donuts—they're warm, rich, and a smooth glaze on the outside, giving way to a moist, tender interior that melts in your mouth. The glaze is pure perfection: very sweet, just enough to highlight the freshly fried dough. It clings beautifully to the golden crust, creating that dreamy crackle when you take a bite. There’s something almost nostalgic about it—the kind of donut that transports you straight to childhood but with a gourmet-level execution. The staff is always friendly, and the place has a welcoming, old-school charm that only adds to the experience. Pro tip: get there early or when a fresh batch is coming out—you’ll never look at another donut the same way again. Stan’s isn’t just a donut shop—it’s a Bay Area institution. 🍩🔥
The best glazed donut in the Bay Area is at Stan’s. Don’t let the long line scare you. They move fast. It’s cash only but there’s an ATM in the back. It was $19 for a dozen. We got the glazed, chocolate glazed, and maple. Fresh out the fryer, soft as a pillow, with the perfect amount of sweetness, heavenly.
Old timey vibe that serves the best donuts on planet earth. Seriously, the best donuts EVER! The line runs out the door, but moved fairly quickly, and is well worth the wait. These donuts are made fresh all day long right in front of you, and have the perfect amount of sweetness, and the texture is unbelievable. A++++

A nice and clean Taco Bell. The interior looks like new, whenever we are here things are well organized (chairs, tables, sauce packets). The service is fast, special kudos to the staff who are very friendly. The fare is standard Taco Bell, it is impressive the variety they can create from the same six ingredients.
Funny window people sometimes they might grace you with a freestyle.
The crunchy tacos, sub meat with beans was good. However, I ordered cheesy gordita crunch as well, and I requested to sub meat for beans, only after arriving home I realized they did not. I checked the bill and see that sub meat for beans wasn't there. I don't know if it's my mistake not check right away or the lady who took my order :( The place was pretty cool, there were lot of people who ordered over phone and came for pick up.
Placed a mobile order. You need to pay attention to the location on the mobile app as it sometimes overwrites your chosen location with the closest one by default.
I don't eat Taco Bell as much as I like it because the nearest location is the boondocks but this location is near the library. Location, location, location. And the Santa Clara library is nicer than the Sunnyvale library. I always dine in.
Taco bell is good, there is no other place like it unless we're talking authentic Mexican food. Its fast food, but delicious at the same time. We probably go here once every 3 weeks or so when we get a craving. This one was clean and the employees were great at customer service. Overall good.
Known for there original glazed donuts. Best when it comes out of the fryer. If you like Krispy Kreme, this is 10 times way better. There dough recipe is top notch and of course they also make various types of donuts. We went on a Friday also tried there apple fritters. They make them on Mondays and Fridays only. I don't know if my taste buds have changed or Stan's had an off day but there original glazed donuts were super sweet just as there apple fritters. I could only have a few bites from both before I had a sugar coma. Stan's probably number five on my doughnut list. I would rank #1 Bernie Beigne in Montreal, #2 Round Rock Donuts in Texas, #3 I'm Donut in Japan, #4 Doughnut Plant in New York City.
The meat they use tastes like oatmeal was mixed in. Grainy, almost bland Need sauce to get flavor.
Stan’s Donut Shop is one of those spots like Falafel’s Drive-In that has fiercely loyal customers who will defend it no matter how good or bad it actually is just because it has been around for decades. I find that those kind of customers have their judgment impaired by nostalgia. This morning, I stopped by Stan’s at 6:30am expecting a long line. Instead, there were just three customers inside, and one of the customers was yammering away for ten minutes with one of the ladies behind the counter. I could tell she wanted to help me with my order as she glanced over, but was stuck listening to Chatty Charlie. Eventually after five minutes, I was helped by another lady further down the counter. I quickly ordered a half dozen donuts: four glazed, one buttermilk and one chocolate glazed. I checked out and walked past Chatty Charlie back to my car. So how was the hyped up glazed donut from Stan’s? It was fluffy, airy, a bit crisp and not as overloaded with sugar as the buttermilk donut was. Not bad, not mind-blowing either. Certainly not heads and shoulders above others as some locals have claimed. The buttermilk donut was dense and coated with a ton of sugar. The loony and delusional Stan’s loyalists on Reddit personally attack you while disparaging nationally acclaimed donut shops such as Blue Star in Portland, Sidecar in LA or Dutch Door Donuts in Carmel. If we’re being completely honest, Stan’s glazed donuts is better than but don’t really stand that out much from Krispy Kreme’s fresh glazed donuts. What impresses me are donuts like Blue Star’s Creme Brûlée Donut with a shot of Cointreau or the monthly rotating flavors at Dutch Door, where they don’t start frying your donuts until you place an order at the counter. I am a local, was born and grew up in the South Bay. But I’ve also lived and traveled all over the world. I’m objective enough to judge a donut without sprinkling nostalgia all over it.
I TRULY DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE HYPE OF THIS DOUGHNUT SHOP... THIS PLACE IS overrated, in my opinion. I've been here 3x and my opinion has not changed since my first visit. I've been here once on my …
I love me some Stan's donuts. However can y'all get longer stronger straws for your drinks!!!. You offer 32oz drink, and you can't think that regular size flimsy straw is OK!!!
There is a small veggie burrito on the menu and Supreme Burrito which is large in size and has meat in it . So through the drive through I asked for a Supreme Burrito without meat. The lady said it's possible to do that. When I came home I saw it was the same small veggie burrito but she had charged me the price of a Supreme Burrito.
Great taco bell No taco bell is a 5 star though. Service in the drive through was fast and accurate and exactly what you expect
This review is for using the electronic order kiosk. I bought my son lunch and he wanted to use the electronic kiosk. I told him to order me an iced coffee (since I'd already eaten lunch) and that I'd prefer to pay cash at the counter. After spending $21.00 he told me I needed to use a card, which I did. Unfortunately there was no option for a printed receipt and to get a text or email receipt I would have had to give my phone number or email which doesn't work for me. To add insult to injury the completed order DID NOT include the drinks we ordered. We had to ask them for the drinks... then ask them for straws. Jeeze.... Things have changed at Taco Bell! I never thought I'd see the day one person could spend over $20 for lunch at a fast food place.
I ordered a vegetarian burrito and took a bite of one filled with beef! They replaced it which was nice but the customer service was rude. I had meat for the first time in 6 years tonight. I understand that people make mistakes but at least apologize for them.
I went inside to order but I wanted to pay cash so I wasn't gonna order on the kiosk. but the manager didn't want to just take my order He said in a rude tone "do you need help ordering on the kiosk?" So you would be willing to come out from the back and help me order on a kiosk instead of just taking my order to pay cash? Of I order and want to pay cash I would've just stood there until someone helped me anyway The problem with fast food workers is they want more money just to do less. it's not difficult to just use the register and take cash The manager here was super rude and it makes 0 sense to have to order on a kiosk
I love Taco Bell. I've been to like 100 different Taco Bells. This is the only one that makes me question life itself with their comically and depressingly undersized and overpriced potato breakfast burritos
