The dine in area is somewhat clean. Reason for my rating is because of how dirty the kitchen was. I saw flies inside the kitchen, kitchen was very dirty and it smelled funky.

Pathetic waste of money. I know the pictures dont always represent what is given because of marketing, but the sourdough supreme breakfast sandwich was a wast of money. 3 tiny pieces of bacon hidden on top of the ham was so sad. They forgot to give me curly fries instead of hashbrowns so yhe sandwich had to sit in the warmer to wait for them and it was a soggy gross mess. Biggest waste of money

We were passing through and the family needed breakfast so we stopped here. Not very informative staff - they just want you to get over with the purchase so service was cold. I ended up not ordering anything cos personally their menu is very unhealthy with minimum vegetarian options. My husband felt a bit queezy after eating his burger. Restrooms available inside.

Ordered from the drive-thru. They told me to drive around and wait in the parking lot. Waited for 30 minutes, so I went inside and showed them my receipt and check-in on the order. They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about at first. Then backtracked and said that she called out my order number and I never came to the counter, I told them I was waiting in my car in the parking lot like they told me to. All she said was "Ohhhh..." Had to wait another 15 minutes to get my order, so pretty much 45 minutes in total. So much for "fast food".

There’s this lady that looks like she’s in her 50’s running graveyard shift. There was an error online when I was ordering and it said the order didn’t go through so I ordered again and it said the same thing. I checked on my banking app and it said I was charged twice. I then checked my email and the orders did in fact go through. I called and no one answered to help me cancel one of the orders. When I arrived I spoke with her and she just dismissed me saying that I have to cancel it online. But I was trying to explain to her the order didn’t even go through online. She didn’t care about what I was saying and I couldn’t even understand what she was saying as well. She said she was the manager and I knew I couldn’t get any real help. So I just took the two orders to go. And when I got home I realized she didn’t give me my drinks, and my orders had so many things missing.

I had to make two separate orders because I made a mistake with the first and had to cancel it. I didn’t get a refund (which is fine it was my mistake) but when I ordered a second time they gave me a completely wrong order. I order a large cluck meal and this is what I got (photo below). I’m a broke college student and this was all I could order for food tonight and now I don’t even have a full meal. When I tried to call they didn’t pick up despite having “24/7” service. Very disappointing and I intend to get a full refund.

I stopped at Jack-in-the-Box cause I’ve for the most part part always had good experiences with Jack-in-the-Box. I enjoy their food their service in the restaurants. On this day however, it was not the case. I wasn’t feeling well and I needed to use the restroom and Jack-in-the-Box is always had a open door policy with the restroom until I got to this one when they told me I couldn’t use the restroom unless I bought something first, so I’ve had to go wait in line to buy a taco so that they would open the door for me so that I could go use the facilities. It was embarrassing demeaning and as far as I’m concerned, unprofessional on their part. But after that, you would think they must have a pretty stellar looking bathroom if they were keeping everybody out of it that isn’t a customer, and that wasn’t the case either it is dirty not horribly dirty but definitely not clean. I had to take toilet paper and clean the seat off just so I could use the toilet. There was a sign in the bathroom that said it was cleaned hourly. However, the dried up urine and whatever else was on there kind of makes me think maybe they’re not really getting into it every hour, or at the very least not doing a good job. I work in field service so I was out of town and couldn’t go home to use my own restroom or I would’ve. I don’t know if this is normal or not but when I arrived there, there were pallets of food sitting outside the restaurant in the parking lot near the drive-through, which is a very dirty area, but regardless of that it sat out there for more than 30 minutes because it was there when I got there and it was there when I left . That doesn’t inspire confidence in the food that’s for sure. In the future I will not be returning to this Jack-in-the-Box in Santa Cruz

I have visited this location more then 10 times, it’s by far one of the slowest restaurants I have ever been to. To call this fast food is kinda a joke. Either your gonna be in the worlds slowest drive through line, (last time took me 30 mins) and I was only the 10th car in line. But it took almost 45 minutes to get food late night. Also their accuracy for custom orders (like no mustard) is pretty bad. I think the funniest thing about this location is their screen actually says please insert a floppy disk to continue for the drive-through order screen, but they will still take your order via speaker. Also don’t be surprised if a homeless person approaches you in the drive-through line and asks you for money.
