Pleasure Pizza truly lives up to its name, and I must say after having pizza in Santa Cruz from a number of different places this is really the place to get good authentic New York style-ish pizza. How do you know when you found a good pizza place? When you go two days in a row and willing to drive an hour one way just to take your wife back to experience what you had yesterday. I am nothing short of a maze by everything they offer not just in food, but also with their service and love for their customers. The pizza: Good Lord! That is one giant slice of pizza seriously. Some might think that it's just a big slice of pizza as a novelty but they could not be more incorrect. You first and foremost are getting a slice of pizza that has by far the greatest crest which is dense and chewy and pure bliss and each and every bite. Pleasure pizza does not skip on toppings and they definitely use high quality ingredients which just makes this pizza joint special. I also like the fact that for a restaurant that's on the main drag in Santa Cruz that their prices are more than affordable and for the price you will be completely and totally satisfied not just with the meal but also with your wallet. Service: How much more can I say beyond they have a great staff of individuals whom are truly treated right because they are attitudes and kindness to their customers is second to none. Don't think just because you got a great slice of pizza for a lower price that you're going to get lower customer service because that's not true. Pleasure pizza has a good formula going on that you have good food and happy people just only makes everything better. I got lucky on my first trip to pleasure Pizza, they were experimenting with a new pizza I think they call it the chess board or something like that, it's a barbecue base pizza with Italian sausage where you can actually see pieces of fennel within the sausage along with mounds of cheese and I think and don't quote me on this some onions. This pizza was nothing short of amazing and made me instantly go to the counter and ask management about it because it wasn't on the menu at the present time. Please keep it on the menu lol Pro tip Tip the staff, and enjoy your pizza 🍕

This Pizza was amazing. The wifey doesn't even like pizza and she walked up to the counter for seconds. She said that the bread was really buttery and good and I will agree on that. You can order by the Slice or order a full one for the family. P.S. do the math because I believe it's a bit cheaper to order a full one depending on how many slices you are getting.

This is the best slice in Santa Cruz. Crispy on the bottom this thick crust is amazing. The staff here is always super friendly. The facilities are very clean.

Pizza slice as a lunch option is really something I tend to avoid because it’s really not the optimal choice to have daily. But when I do, I try to have it here. For 15 bucks, you are only getting 2 slices and a coke but the quality is definitely perceptible over other joints. The text crust feels just right, neither rubbery nor mushy. The overall cheese is slightly smaller than in other standard slices but honestly , I don’t want to feel too overwhelmed or get a blood sugar drop after having an excessively fat and carb rich pizza. I also like the sodium level in this pizza is noticeably less too which is good. Overall, i feel i can perfectly go for a nice stroll after 2 slices and not feel too sleepy.

We had THE BEST TIME at my kiddos birthday party tonight. Eight kids got to make their own pizzas and got to be creative. The kids got to choose their own toppings and each pizza came out so tasty. It was awesome!! This was a super last minute party and it went over with my 12 y.o. and his friends great! The owners are wonderful and the staff was so easy and friendly. This is our new go to pizza spot. So delicious!!!!

The entire staff was so friendly & welcoming , this place really gives off a down to earth vibe ! It's conveniently located near shops where you can walk around which makes a romantic night. We really enjoyed the food here & will try different items next time !

Went with my friend 2 days back. We met the owner, Sol, who was a gem of a person. The staff was also very friendly. I had the chicken wings which was soft and crispy, yummy! Will go there again.

Here on a Tuesday with their “Cheesy Tuesdays” when a cheese slice is only $2.50!!!! In this economy? Beautiful! And it wasn’t just an average slice of pizza it was PERFECT. A little crunch, yummy dough, the perfect amount of cheese pull (not too much but enough). Top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten. Just beautiful.

I love Pleasure Pizza, but this location is a miss for me. The staff are friendly, and the pizza is good, but the atmosphere just wasn't good. When I sit down to eat I want to feel comfortable and that wasn't the case here. I think their location in Capitola is much better, or their restaurant across the street from their other shop.

The service was good. The ambiance of the place is great, however the table we sat on was dirty and I put my hands onto a bunch of crumbs on the table.

I was sitting at Verve and I remembered passing by Pleasure Pizza on the way out of the nearby parking lot. We wanted a small lunch, so pizza by the slice was an easy option. I looked it up to check the reviews and, lo and behold, I saw a coworker left a good review for this place. That solidified going here. I am a creature of convenience. 😛 I got a slice of Board'n (pepperoni and mushrooms). Wow, they heated it nicely and the bottom was crispy and the sauce was just enough to be tasted, but not enough to make it a soggy mess. Can confirm there was a cheese pull. The slice was longer than my face! 3.5 rounded down, because I found the crust was terribly boring. Couldn't get more than a small bite on it before I gave up. It was bland and didn't have much going on texturally. My friend who usually destroys pizzas shared the same sentiment.

25% crust because toppings end before the toppings end before the crust. very stingy with the toppings for the size and price of the slices. It's a plus that the pizza is cooked crispy and has good flavor though. But add more cheese & sauce and its definitely worth going back.

We ordered online and made a mistake. We called immediately and the guy kept answering the phone and saying “we’re busy order online” and hanging up. We continued to call so we could tell them we just ordered online and needed to correct a mistake. The guy said “not my problem, we’re way too busy so you gotta figure it out” and literally hung up. But we cannot correct the mistake online because the order was already placed and it advised us to contact the restaurant. We tried to cancel altogether online and we would have still been charged the full amount of the pizza regardless. Even though we had just placed the order and called immediately. We picked up the pizza anyways, and didn’t eat it but gave it to some unhoused people. We accidentally ordered with pineapples and our child is allergic. Honest mistake that truly could have been corrected. The service was just incredibly rude… we were recommended by a friend to choose this pleasure pizza over the one on 41st which we live closer to. Next time please just hit cancel on someone’s order so they can reorder the correct thing and not tell us it’s not your problem and hang up in our face… we’re paying customers and not less important than the people standing in line. If we were in the restaurant, I imagine you would have helped us.
