Can't go wrong with the standard Starbucks. The parking lot is tight but I can usually five a spot. Ordering ahead makes all the difference here. There are plenty of local spots near by that are better, but you can't go wrong here

Excellent spot with great service

Very nice employee's ... Had a stressful morning where I had to handle a lot of my responsibilities immediately only to have a dead phone roadblock me...I was able to calmly and fairly privately handle all my affairs while I plugged in my phone in a comfortable environment and enjoyed a stress relieving morning cup of coffee... Thank you Starbucks!!

Super cool people run this place. Some customers started getting out of hand with their comments about my dog and started making me feel really bad and I think a manager possibly just an employee met me outside of the door with a pup cup for my dog and offered to serve me out there so I didn't have to bring my dog inside around that lady. Super awesome and totally ignored that lady when she was complaining about me and just looked at me and smiled and treated me like I wasn't a bad person just because some person was was making bad comments about me. Thanks Starbucks, made my month. I totally would have never came back if they had made me feel bad but not only am I coming back I'm going to try to go often while respecting their dog policy.

I love this place. They still have an old-style clover machine as well as the newer less-manpower-intensive clover. The guy behind the counter was very nice considering how grumpy I was (in my defense I hadn't had my coffee yet) The were out of the rwanda beans I like, but in a decade of going to this location when visiting family in Santa Cruz, that's the first time that's happened.

I would never give a Starbucks five stars cause the quality varies from location to another. Not the best coffee but the most convenient and I enjoy the reward system.

The baristas are very courteous and helpful. They help you get your coffee just the way you want. The location is right on the intersection, so getting into the parking lot can be very 'blink and miss'. Great views to go with your coffee.

My go-to-coffee stop on the way to work. I like Starbuck app where you can order ahead. I gave this place 4 stars because the morning staff are often rude and not friendly. Maybe they should have a cup of coffee before they start. The location of this one is nice, right by the beach.

One of the few Starbucks with pleasant outdoor seating. The outdoor seating isn't next to a loud street, it's behind the building with the view of the parking lot. The staff is great too.

Everything was okay at Starbucks. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the Starbucks was it seemed warm in there. Then when I was ordering my mocha Frappuccino I was looking for the place board to compare the price of a medium to a large and there's no price board in there couldn't understand why. My friend was treating me and I wanted him to see the difference in the price between a venti and a medium. I wanted him to see the advantage to going venti over medium but thought it would be in poor taste to suggest that since he was paying for my drink. I waited till after we had our medium drinks to tell him I thought it would have been a better idea to go large for the price. I would recommended that Starbucks post their prices so people can see them. Personally I think they're all over price to begin with, so not posting thier prices allows them to get a bigger profit margin if you buy a small or medium verses a venti!!!!!!!!!

Standard Starbucks fare. Lots of seating inside. Okay to bring your dog. Good Chocolate Cream Cold Brew. We ordered and canceled then ordered again and they were very patient with us. Nice staff. It's still just Starbucks, tho.

Love the coffee. Snotty employees serving coffee and food. Slow service. They left my bagel on the counter and others touched it. Didn't even call me when it was ready. Dogs inside smelling everywhere and rubbing their butts on the ground.

Usually, this location is great. I ordered a toasted Veggie Sandwich and two Bananas. After waiting much longer than usual (I was the first order) and watching the Barista make several drinks and the oven to which my sandwich was suppose to be toasting, I was still without my order. Apparently, my sandwich was sitting on a counter on the other side of the Barista's work station... forgotten. As I went to ask about my order, the Barista noticed it on the other counter and handed it to my daughter along with the Bananas. Not only was the service mediocre, the Restrooms were OFF LIMITS. Great!

Yesterday, I noticed my mobile order languishing while walk-ins were served immediately. The quality of the product was fine. Also, because the beach is so close, parking is often occupied by beach-goers. They would, of course, claim they were customers, but coffee and a suntan seem to be the plan for those folks. In the meantime, new customers must circle the lot for parking. It has happened to me.

The male barista was below average making our drinks, the cups where over flowing he couldn't follow the directions of the order and when I asked him to redo it he seemed confused why, when I was very clear on why this drink was not made correctly. But the place was clean and parking was good so 2 that's was worth a star.

The barrista was rude! I ordered 2 drinks and she only made 1, when iasked about it she ignored me. When i asked again she checked the drink tab and said "yeah" under her breath. Then she proceeded to make several other orders while I waited patiently. The drinks themselves even made to the standard of perfection that I'm used to with Starbucks. If she doesnt want to work at Starbucks, then she should find another job. I will not be visiting this location again. Luckily there are many other locations in Santa Cruz!

This place is as terrible as ever and I won’t be returning. I wish I could give negative stars. I’m so sympathetic for it being a pandemic but every time I’m there I get treated with outright hostility. If you hate your job so much why don't you go on strike and bargain for better wages and benefits? Workers have never had more power in recent history than right now. Turn your anger onto your boss rather than your customers who are simply vibing and trying to survive under capitalism as well.

Wasn't treated very fairly. Waited 25 minutes before asking about my order. An older woman with a bad limp was very short with me stating my order was coming which it never did. No apology or any regard for the mix up or missed order. I order alot and will be taking my business else where to Lulu's drive through.

The VERY WORST Starbucks in the entire area. The 6 out of 7 times I've been here they are up my order. The passed 2 times, including today, they were rude AF about it. I am so done with this place. Not even my love of Starbucks will bring me back. They also don't know how to apply stars to purchases.

Terrible customer service this morninG... Ordered 2 undertows & was charged approximately $9 in in extras fees along with courtesy rudeness to boot! Any other Starbucks would be a better choice, avoid this one by all means

The service here was nothing short of awful…it took 40 mins for a microwaved breakfast item, I have no idea why I stuck it out that long but I think I hung around to see how long it would take at that point. Organization structure here is just awful.

No one seems to enjoy being there and this is just one of many situations recently that we have dealt with. Definitely not worth our time or money.
