I Had a very long day and I wasn't trying to eat in the area and I was far from home and wanted to just get home but I was starving so I found this random Jack in the box and although my order was super complicated, Diana was actually the most polite and helpful person I have dealt with alll day. I saw the staff and how hard they were working and remembered how hard it was when I was working fast food so i appreciate what they were doing. Diana was super patient I hope she gets a raise!

The store was clean. Service was a little slow, but nothing to stop me from coming back. Food was tasty and hot.

It was a great experience. The people are very hard working. They buzz you in to the bathroom but you have to keep asking because the gentleman was trying to get in but by the time he finally got back to the front the food was cold and he still didn't get in the bathroom. They have the best tacos. I know this sounds weird because their known for their hamburgers. But this is a well kept secret, try them & you'll be hooked like me. They taste like you are south of the border getting the BEST street vendor food possible. I personally give you my word, you will love them.

I've gone to this location since I was a child and I know in the past I had a more critical review regarding this location, mainly because of the homeless population frequency, however I've come to still enjoy it nonetheless. I do believe this location has the ability to expand for a more expensive interior seating area but the decision would have to lay on the main team board of this Jack in the box franchise. It's a pretty good location to come to for the drive-thru especially, but sometimes the drive-thru gets filled up quickly. 👌

Unlike some parts of the country like Arkansas Missouri and central areas even the South they have their own recipes for what they like to eat and cook up concoctions and whatnot but I've noticed California prides itself well they're fast food original pieces when I got to California I tried in and out burger it's literally to me identical to McDonald's but not hard to really explain it's one of a kind restaurant fast food kind of like Florida they have a restaurant like getting out but it's not very common you don't see it anymore so going south to west I've never seen it and I got this many states but a place called Rally's in Florida airplane flying man logo fast food burger joint is amazing I love their fries today I die Jack in the box in California reminds me of Whataburger also in the South but all in all Jack in the box is a favorable place for me to eat due to its quantity of food plus quality. And simple and clean atmosphere with a controlled bathroom necessary to keep it clean and keep people from in camping in the bathrooms commonly known to happen in California all in all I eat there a lot it is quantity of food quality is back and low price like EDLP acronym for everyday low price That's Walmart's motto.

I see a lot of bad reviews for any Jack in the Box, but they seem to miss that this is cheap, junk food, and it is great for what it is. If you want a huge burger with special meat and all sorts of fun stuff, go elsewhere. Although I have to say they have the best shakes for any place, pricey or otherwise. We love this Jack in the Box. It is always clean outside, we use the drive thru, and the service is super. They get your order right the first time. If you want to eat there you can, they also have free parking. Right now, I am hooked on their breakfast items and their tiny tacos. Their croissants are so good. Now, this is not some huge thing from a pricey bakery, but it is tasty. It has egg, ham and cheese and it really hits the spot. The tiny tacos are so yummy. They come in a little box and are deep fried. Their shakes are the best. I don't care where you go, you will not find better. Oh, and the machine is never broken. It can get a long line for lunch so we try very early for breakfast and later for dinner. If you want health food go someplace else. But if you are on a budget and just want some great food, go to Jack in the Box.

A quick place you can get food if you are in a hurry. I don’t usually fast food but when I do jack in the box has one of the best curly fries in the game. Always either get the teriyaki chicken bowl combination with French fries and a drink. Or I would go with the double jumbo jack burger with no cheese as I am not a cheese person. The food,menu are standard Jack. Self-serve fountain drink let you personalize your soda. Using bathroom is not an easy sale.

They were quick with the food good service. But they use a wooden fork, if you can call that? Isn't even sharp enough to pick up chicken and a teriyaki bowl. Can't even poke through the teriyaki chicken.

The food is good for fast food. Sometimes a greasy Taco is what I'm craving. The fact on the receipt I can buy one get one free after answering a survey is what keeps me coming back. They should extend the time before expiration to 10 days. That's all.

There is a homeless problem in the area so there will be people who walk into the bathrooms and spend a while in there. It isn't really disruptive to eating but can be a problem if you have to ho to the bathroom. On the other hand the service is really fast. I go regularly and don't have any issues. This Jack In the Box serves their food fresh and hot as it should be. The interior of this location is a bit small, so in house dining is not as comfortable as one may hope for, but it is a fast-food establishment after all.

What can I say, I love their crispy chicken strips. And for some reason, this drive through is one of the most efficient ones in Los Angeles. I don't get it but I certainly won't complain. Endless late nights from playing gigs and lo and behold, JIB to the rescue. Thank you JIB, love them strips!

The only Jack in the box that I know of that still keeps their word of "we don't make it til you order it" cause the chicken sandwich and the jumbo Jack were so fresh and really hot and that's what I really like about the food when it's hot. And the only reason I didn't give the fifth star cause the manager is so loud and the tacos were a bit salty.

The food and service are good and it's actually gotten better under the new manager has been here a couple of years. I've been here about a half a dozen times in the last couple of years and I have to say that this particular Jack In The Box as always kind, professional, and courteous. The food is always served hot and fresh and I recommend it. The only complaint that I have is that the dollar menu pretty much doesn't exist anymore and that goes for McDonald's and Wendy's as well. However, I can't say that this store still has a better deal on the value menu than the others.

While the area is not very nice and there are people coming and going that doesn't make you feel very safe, the employees went above and beyond to provide a great service for our family. The food was OK, as with any Jack.

Staff are very polite and they make the orders quickly. Down side, there are panhandlers at the drive through who kick your car if you don't give them money. I also had one try to clumb in through my open window once.

Food was great but inside is a homeless encampment with crazy screaming and chaos. I was lucky my car did not get jacked. I got the chicken salad which fit my diet perfectly and was delicious.

The staff very friendly. The food is delicious as always. Places clean for the most part. The main issue I do not like dying here and always take take out. Is the homeless people most the time I come in the morning everyday and police are usually escorting homeless people out. Other than the homeless people great place to eat.. I would give it 5 Stars other than the homeless people.

I typically purchase food at this Jack in the Box since it is near my workplace. There is a high volume of homeless people at this fast-food restaurant but the workers maintain it clean. You can receive your order quickly when it’s not busy, but it can take up to 15-20 minutes to receive your order when it’s busy.

The staff was quick to take our order which was very much appreciated. They were also very nice. However, the restrooms were nasty. They smelled quite horrible and there was toilet paper on the floors. I'm not sure if it was just because of the previous people who used the bathroom or not but that definitely impacted my opinion about its cleanliness.

I'm usually there around 8am, so the drive thru is very busy, so it's understandable that service can be a tad slow at the counter. I personally use the self service kiosk and my order comes pretty quickly. Sometimes I've received a sandwich that was rushed to much, but that's not the norm. The atmosphere is reasonable, can be crowded and because of the homeless in the community, at times it can be challenging. Overall I look forward to my visiting this Jack cause it helps me start my commute to the East side.

Food is good - average Jack in the Box quality. The largest critique is when ordering closer to closing time, the staff generally feels annoyed or upset that I'm ordering at that time. This is very consistent across multiple nights of ordering later in the night. It's rather disappointing, as hospitality should be the focus in places like these.

Can get faster service and better food at Dennys down the street. It's 2 stars instead of 1 because they have 1 employee actually willing to work at a fast pace even when short staffed. Everyone else drags their feet when there are 3 to 5 people waiting to order.

I work nearby and have been here a few times for a quick lunch. The management team isn't great, customer service isn't in their vocabulary. Though I haven't seen the particular manager in a while that was always an exceptional treat. I've used online ordering to order here since the app was released for LA - they still are confused to how it works in store. In most cases, I go to the counter ask for the order, told to wait or that I have to order at the register (what?). Ask again, find out the order has been prepped and sitting on the back counter for 10 minutes. Less the fault of the restaurant but the atmosphere is horrible, this Jack seems to attract all of the crazy in Santa Monica as a mecca. Never a dull moment, that's for sure. This is a last resort for lunch but it is across the street and generally when it's not cold having sat around, the food is good and consistent.

Well, this place is quite a disaster. There are some characters in this establishment and it took awhile to get validated that they see you and will serve you. It took really awhile to get served, and the order we got wasn't complete, and I think the food was an after thought of a college student in his dorm, with the pressure that his parents are coming over and he has to serve something for rhem to eat. That is what the food is like. So unhappy with it.

I had high hopes for jack in the box because of the media creators I watch .. they would always talk about how good it is. I ordered this from uber eats and I'm also visiting from outof town. ..i used to love Jack's but when i ordered the sourdough double burger with raw onions instead with the cookies and creme drink, i was absolutely dissatisfied. My burger had the "sauteed" onions on it, it only has one patty (maybe a sign from God) and it was not good at all, also the shake was very mediocre .... and oh, there was a piece of plastic in it that I almost chocked on! This is usually one of the only places open in my neighborhood after 12 and I actually choose to starve rather than eat here. I’ve given this location a chance 3 times and never again! First time I went they were closed up 35 minutes before the posted hours and the employees were just sitting in a booth looking at me and told me to leave. Second time, I actually received my food (drive through) and like many others have said the fries were stale and there was even a crust old onion ring in the mix as well. And the last time I was really desperate I went in and waited in line for two people and when it came my turn the cashier left and made me wait about 8 minutes so I left. Not fast food service. The Who point is “FAST”! It is also very dirty and lots of homeless people sleep in there.

Rude gentleman still works the night shift. This person has a thick accent and has messed up my order multiple times over many visits. He must be the owner based on how he acts and the fact that he's still working there. This time I received regular fries instead of curly fries. I was explaining that I received the wrong fries and I couldn't understand if he was disagreeing with me but as I tilted the bag toward him to show the fries were not curly fries, he actually reached into the bag with his bare hands and took the wrong fries from me. I had to wait a little while but eventually got my curly fries. I thought this was not only weird and rude, but unacceptable in today's age of sanitization and social distancing. I'm not sure what he planned on doing with those fries after they were in my car, after I touched them with my hands and he touched them with his hands. I'm not so sure I want to go back anymore.

I ask for napkins, the counter girl who took my order, gave me only 2 yhin pieces of napkins. I asked for extra she gave me 1 piece of napkins. The employees here are not people friendly. Don't bother coming to this place to eat. Employees should have more training with the public.

This location said the ability to wash your hands via restrooms while waiting for food is not allowed by state mandates. If we cannot wash our hands and they serve food it is unhealthy. The rules are you must clean restaurant fast-food restrooms every 30 minutes.

The food was good. But God it was FREEZING. It was already so cold outside 🥶. We could tell the AC was on. We put our hands under the vents and ❄️ cold🥶 air was coming out. I understand why they were doing it because everyone other than us was homeless and they were trying to freeze them out but geez it was so bad we could not eat in the dining room. We had take out but not by choice. When we went outside it was warmer than inside. It would be warmer hanging out with Eskimos in an igloo.

I've had quite a few bad experiences with this place. Just for example. One time, I placed a mobile order through the app for drive-thru pickup and went to pick it up just to find out they were closed for some reason, despite them usually being open all night. Went the next day to ask for a refund, which you can only do in store after clicking the "Prepare Food Button" and got told they couldn't give me one. The other time, I placed an order through the mobile app again and went there to pick it up through the drive-thru. The person working the drive-thru was being very rude to me and told me they don't serve shakes through the drive-thru(bs lie), and that I had to go inside to get mine. I ended up going inside to get it, and they ended up giving me the wrong one. There are way better places. Don't waste your time at this location. Honestly, I don't know even know why I go here. Maybe, because it stays open late. :/

The overnight Costumer service is horrible at this location. Bad cashier vibes and the food is cold everytime.👎

My coworkers and me stop by for lunch. First it was no menu pictures because they were changing the prices, we asked them if we can take a look at the older ones not Metter if we pay more for are food we just want to see the menu, they didn't let us . Bathrooms were disgusting we asked if they can clean it up and they told us if we want to used ,do it like that. F... this place , this is unsanitary where is health department inspector

Just came to this jack in the box and they told me that there isn't a restroom at all how is that possible i go to every single restroom and they always have a restroom.what a shame that is don't do any business with this jack in the box

Second time they gave me wrong items in drive thru.

I visited this establishment on February 3rd at 1:25 AM and placed an order with specific requests that were not standard items. Upon arriving at the payment window, I noticed the cashier had not correctly itemized my order. Before completing the payment, I asked the cashier to reiterate my order. The second time, it was stated correctly, though there seemed to be a language barrier that made communication somewhat challenging. I received my order, but upon inspection before departing, I found it to be entirely incorrect and seemingly prepared in haste. Consequently, I returned to the window and requested a refund. I will certainly not be returning to this location.

After I ordered at the drive thru I asked the lady if I could have some ketchup and she gave me a look like if it was a big deal and then when I put my bag so she can toss the ketchup in she acted like she gave me ketchup and just tossed a ranch in. Very rude I know it’s graveyard shift but no need to act like giving anyone a couple packs of ketchup is a hassle.

Stopped in for what I thought would be a quick burger to go. There was one person in front of me inside, and only 3 cars in the drive through. I ordered one jr jumbo jack cheeseburger, and it took almost 10 minutes to get it, only to find out it didn’t even have cheese on it. I was too far away to return, nor did I think it would be an issue solved in a timely manner.

The cashier wasn't paying attention to my order, the manager had a customer complaint that the order was taking too long so this person wanted to leave. The customer wanted there money back the manager proceeded to take their time, or appears that they (the manager) started giving the customer back talk on their service, clear she wasn't training to descalate the situation.

This Jack in the Box is a total disaster. Walked in and nearly turned around — no working AC, stifling heat inside. One tiny bathroom with a stiff “customers only” door that’s harder to open than a bank vault. The counter was run by one very elderly lady, clearly overwhelmed, and apparently allergic to customer service. Asked if the AC was working — she smiled and lied: “Always.” I asked for ketchup and what condiments they had. She said, “I don’t know, what do you want?” If I don’t know what you have, how can I order it? At other locations, they list options or at least ask what you’d like. Here, they act like condiments are coming out of their personal paycheck. Then came the sandwich— flat like a tire, slapped together with zero care, drowning in cheap sauce, nothing like the menu photo. I had to eat in my car with the AC on because inside felt like a sauna. This place is a disgrace to the brand: rude, dishonest, hot, and serving food that looks like it’s been run over. Do yourself a favor — go anywhere else.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION. I placed on order through Uber eats and recieved RAW food. The chicken sandwiches were undercooked - evident from the coating which was not crispy, but still as a batter. Additionally, other items in my order were incorrectly prepared and I had condiments placed on my sandwich that I specifically requested be ommitted. I also had missing items. I had to throw away the entire order and felt nauseous from the quality of the food. The worst part of my experience was that the store does not answer phone calls from the listed number on google at all. I was forced to take time out of my day to visit the location and speak to someone directly. I was expecting an apology, but was met with a shift supervisor who was INCREDIBLY RUDE to me. He flat out denied my request for a refund without any explanation, and refused to give me a name for the manager of the store. I am left incredibly upset by my waste of money and time for a store that does not care at all about the quality of the food or customer service they provide. I am sure this is indicative of other issues that must be occurring in the kitchen and absolutely warn against ordering food from here.

Look. This place has issues. Clean the tables. Clean both bathrooms, NOT JUST THE EMPLOYEE ONLY BATHROOM ON THE LEFT,which by the way isn't the company policy, BOTH of those bathrooms are public, you lied to me when you told me it was for employees only the reason why YOU DONT make one of the public bathrooms employee only bathroom unofficially just so that you only clean the one that you use and the other one that's public you could give care less about which is why it's so destroyed you should be cleaning both bathrooms the same instead of being lazy and trying to save yourself the work of only cleaning the one that you want to use yourself which is also selfish, retrain the staff , retrain the managers, fore whoever is the problem, bathrooms were filthy, need deep cleaning w proper cleaner, doubt this ever gets done. No toilet paper in the bathroom, employees sitting around in the lobby when there is a huge mess, just fast food 101 basic fundamentals that need addressing here. May or may not come back as needed wanted but will say, you do not represent what Jack in the Box as a whole is, which it is a great company, sad to see this disarray, 100% the employees fault w management, I AM 100% CERTAIN YOUR SALES would go up w better management. Unfortunate. Dirty tables dirty floors, no I didn't take pictures of it I felt it was a waste of time, the interesting stuff was the history April 9 2023 1 in the afternoon, I write what I see, the facts will change when you do. Don't get mad at me you accepted this job you are the one stealing from your company not doing your job, and yes I did work fast food 3 years, and no I didn't do what you are doing I cleaned both bathrooms Holmes. I sweep and cleaned the tables, did grill, did parking lot, drive through, crew trainer and manager, you don't get to be garbage, step it up or move out and give someone else the job have some damn pride in yourselves.
