To be honest, can't remember a lot as I was absolutely smashed, but seeing the videos of that night, I had a mint time. Jumping round, singing to rebel songs and everything. Thanks so much everyone, music was ace.

Fantastic irish music and a great night in here as always, plenty good drink options. Big bar easy to get a seat and opened late
Always visit The Dubliner every time I’m in Santa Ponsa. Can’t fault it. Staff are very nice and Marty, Darrin and Cabbage are great with the entertainment in the evening. Looking forward to going back to Santa Ponsa next summer and visiting again!

Great music and great atmosphere great pub better than temple bar in Dublin .
We visited here several times on our stay over 9-16th Oct 2018. Great people and staff, drinks were ok too. On our third night they had a live band and they were very good.
Good place for Irish music. Bathroom was spotless. Nice atmosphere
Excellent bar lot of craic which is normal for an Irish pub. Great entertainment good fun to be had.
Nice lively bar, staff are really nice, great for sports also
I called in when it was quiet, the place is extremely clean, the tables kept clean, bar staff were all very helpful and friendly.

Gutes Ambiente, gewohnte Preise für Import-Biere a la Guinness und co. Liveband spielt angenehme Musik, im Außenbereich ist das Rauchen erlaubt.

Proper Irish pub, good Guinness, good craic, great music and great staff and great value for money. Cant reccomend this place enough, will definitely be back in future
1 of the most popular bars on the strip, Singers/bands are always great and a good laugh, bar staff are great with quick service
What a great pub great staff has a great atmosphere love it 💚💚xx
Great live music and very friendly staff. Well worth a visit for a good night out.
What a fab Irish pub... Spacious, very clean, great pulled pints and great staff
Guinness et kilkenny à la pompe ? C'est ici ! La musique et les concerts aussi. Il y a 25 ans, une communauté Irlandaise c'est installée ici. C'est ainsi que l'histoire commence...
Great pub craic mighty and mostly down to the singer who could get a singsong going at a wake. Top class entertainer
Brilliant place to drink, lovely staff
Good bar in Santa Ponsa...give it a try

Good drinks and good music. Staff need to lighten up a bit and the bouncer for the place is a nutcase and probably should be sectioned. Maybe get rid of him as it's reflecting badly on the place. Other than that it was good.
Friendly atmosphere, good selection of drinks at a decent price and they showed the Celtic match so definitely recommend
Great place for entertainment foods ok but wouldn't rush there to eat
Tres chaleureux et les jumelles mignonne Selon mon cheri 😉🤷🏽♀️et moi
Good spot. Nice staff and good Irish music
Wow! If you want the full on Irish Rebel experience then this is the place. Can be busy and a bit of a squeeze to get served at night but worth it for the craic.
This is a great bar with the best live Music available, well worth popping in for a beer 🍻
Good spot just wasn't me to b honest waa the perfect place for me when I was there 16 years
Excellent Irish bar, has pool table through the back.
A good pint of Guinness, we went here for one of the football games and enjoyed it, great live music too
We were just out for a walk and stopped in for one on the way. Lovely bar, respectful staff and a nice atmosphere. Pop in for one, good sing song also.
Great spot for kids with a safe play area and balcony to keep an eye on kids nice staff friendly atmosphere 👍
Nice bar, cash only! Cash is king!
Great music, but dark and dingy. Needs new tables and chairs.
Was OK until they played a song which said fu*k the union jack so never went back.
Очень популярен среди отдыхающих ирландцев. Часто бывает "живая музыка", кухня традиционная, европейская.
Was there about a month ago with a large group from Scotland. Band was good but must say the 2 barmaids were terrible, never smiled once, both had no glue. Wont be back.
Never had food so can't comment .girl behind the bar, with glasses on .has no customer service skills whatsoever 😒 Totally ignored females waiting to be served The guy and other girl were nice . Band was good 👍
I've been going to the Dubliner for a few years now and always had a good time, only difference this year are the two barmaids. A couple of the most dour faced people ever to serve behind a bar.
Buena cerveza inglesa
Good tunes but doorman wouldn’t let me eat my Pringles 😂
Buena cerveza inglesa
Worst bar ever!! The two girls behind the bar were super rude and were outside smoking and chatting more than behind the bar... it was a busy night with the Irish rugby on and the tall guy was left alone to serve all the people!! The tiny security guy in the vest was actually one of the worst ignorant "man" I've ever met. Probably he has some issues like the small people have! Not impressed after all and won't recommend this place ever!!
Absolutely revolting and vicious attack last night by the doormen outside of this bar last night, which led to a number of people leaving in discust. A small argument between 3 young lads. No fighting, just shouting. 2 lads went back inside. Two of the doormen followed the third as he walked off, and without any physical provocation or threat, knocked him out. He fell in the middle of the road smashing his head on the tarmac, and was seriously injured. Whilst this lad was shouting he was clearly drunk & walking away. The doormen followed him & seriously assaulted him. It was sickening. Apparently these doormen patrol the whole strip. Vile men who should be arrested for what they did.
Staff are awful, bullies and cowards. All stood around and allowed one of their psychotic bar men after removing a older man easily in his late 50s who had 1 too many drinks from the bar to chase him down the street in daylight and beat him up on the pavement.
atención desastrosa !!!no vuelvo ni loco
Ciaran behind the bar is a decent skin, but I was informed that the reason for it being a cash only bar was because it costs their business 75c every time somebody taps to pay. So what they are saying to you, their customer, is "WE are not prepared to pay the cost of doing business in Spain and will force YOU to pay it by having to pay €6 everytime you withdraw a note from a Euronet ATM Machine". The bar is desperately clinging on to an outdated idea of what being Irish means. The lyrics to "Grace" are pinned to the wall which would probably make Joseph Plunkett and Grace Gifford vomit in their coffins to be associated with it.
Cash only bar as they are not prepared to abide by local law apparently. Security, yes security staff (we counted 3) milling around the exits. Not very appealing really. Kind of arrogant to be honest. Not a cheap place either.
To the Dubliner, it's a shame that you have pumped up arrogant security manning your doors looking for any excuse have a fight throw you out and use pepper spray on you. Made me feel sad and found it upsetting, feel sorry for those who are a little drunk enjoying their holidays. Nothing happened to me but witnessed how they were with people. I didn't feel like this in the other bars we didn't go back and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. I wouldn't give it one star but had to so I could leave a review.
Back in Santaponsa after 18yrs, tried The Dubliner as it looked like a good big pub from the outside, really did not like the atmosphere, all of the bar staff not friendly or welcoming, no smiles/hello etc which is always nice on holiday or in any pub anywhere really. The female owners possibly sisters? have a very negative effect behind the bar, saw one of them shouting/berating another staff member before stomping out for cigarette/vape. The young staff collecting glasses circle you in the bar watching everything and the bouncers too watch everything. We had one drink and left, and there was another 3 x couples / families did the same. The band the night we were there were also singing requests from the bar staff only, mostly depressingly sad Irish tunes, no holiday vibe when we were in at all. Wished I’d checked reviews before going as seems a lot of people had a similar experience some with a lot more added violence too!
The rudest barmaids ever, I'd be cutting their paycheck for the time they stood outside smoking, tall guy that serves nice but the owner needs to do something about the females, there was an accident in the ladies, girl split her head open and the cubicle was swimming in blood but it wasn't cleaned up , cross contamination!! the barmaids were outside smoking with a highly strung doorman who would fight with his own shadow , it's a shame as music is good but those 2 women let it down hugely as do the doorman, I won't ever go back
We were having a great night, our 2nd time in Santa Ponsa this year, as we liked it so much. Went to the Dubliner for the first time ever and sat at the bar. A female member of staff was very rude, she stood right in front of us but didn't serve us, just chatted to her friends. When we called her to get her attention she made faces, we were about to leave, when a skinny guy in skinny jeans served us and seemed nice. We then ordered a cocktail that looked good that another couple had got. She proceeded to make it but never answered what was in it when I asked. I paid for it then asked her again what was in it? But she made a face asked, "Was I going to be able to drink it?" and then walked away. We were about to leave and finish our drinks and I tipped the barman for being nice and when she looked and made more faces, I told her she was extremely rude and that she needed to work on her customer skills. She told us she was the manager/owner and told us to get out to take our drinks in plastic cups and f off out. The barman who I tipped came over and started shouting abuse, telling us to f off out too and got very aggressive. Then he came outside the bar and started to manhandle my partner who was finishing his drink rather than put it in a plastic cup as we were leaving anyway, but he wasn't allowed as then 4 bouncers came over and manhandled him out, he struggled to get away from the bouncers as the barman then punched him in the face, 2 more bouncers came over and all 6 of them, big huge steroid taking body builders, lifted him up in the air, ran out the door and threw him down the steps out on the road and the barman, along with the 6 bouncers proceeded to kick him on the ground. I threw my drink from my plastic cup at them to shock them, to try get them to stop. As I pleaded for help and for them to stop, the barman turned on me and punched me in the arm and caught me and shook me, then lifted me and threw me down to the road. I was crying and tried to get up, asking him to stop, he ran over and sprayed me with pepper spray, as I was lying on the road, he then ran over and sprayed my partner who was unconscious on the road with pepper spray, at this stage I rang the police, who arrived straight away and the barman was still fighting with them and security were holding him back. The police called an ambulance and we spent the night in hospital. We were left out the following day, but were both covered in blood and had to make our way back to our hotel by taxi. It was humiliating. It was our 2nd evening on holiday, hadn't gone out the first night, as we were tired, but we haven't been out since as my partner has a black eye, cuts and bruises and I'm totally shaken. We are a couple in our 50s, not into fighting or making a scene in any way. Don't go to the Dubliner unless you want to end up in hospital Date of experience: October 2024 Thank Caroline D
Would give this place 0 if I could. If you want to have a good night avoid this place. My partner was dragged outside and pepper sprayed by 2 bouncers for singing. From the reviews seems to be a common occurrence, wonder why this is being allowed to happen on a regular basis.
I've never been to a pub where I felt like I was going to be attacked by the bouncers for no reason. Came here with the missus during the week for a drink. I'll never step inside there again. Terrible atmosphere. Staff were rude and bouncers stand in front of you in the bar watching everyone. Wouldn't recommend here at all.
Not the most welcoming bar I've been into , too nationalistic for my taste
Very dark, staff seemed deeply depressed and didn't accept card payments probably to avoid paying taxes
Avoid this bar, staff extremely rude, security staff looking to cause rows. Gave this bar a try and regretted it. Staff are rude to customers, spent alot of the night outside smoking, security guy looking to start an altercation with me, up in my face snarling wanting a fight, avoid avoid
I was part of a party of 34 on a weekend break and the biggest majority of the girls were in pub on Thursday night and had a great time and spent big. The Friday night was a fancy dress and 4 of girls were Fr Ted characters, one being Fr Jack who always has an empty vodka bottle in hand. This was checked by a member of staff who verified it was empty. The group were allowed to buy drinks which included gin and vodka and within half an hour were asked to leave by aggressive bar staff who accused the girl of having a full bottle of vodka. The situation that followed was nothing short of disgraceful where a female bar staff member and a male were verbally abusive and aggressive in manner. My friend and I who were older members of the group asked to speak to the manager and it was a manageress who explained ‘ once you’re out you’re out’ we had no intentions of going back in and that was their loss. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone as their treatment of customers was shocking. The party drank in Kellys and Celtswell thereafter and were treated with respect. This is the worst pub in Santa Ponsa for those reasons.
came back to santa ponsa near enough solely for this pub and serious let down with staff, women were crabbit but guy working was nice enough band wa as great but overall bad experience on bar staff.
Very rude and unfriendly management and the majority of staff bar one friendly helpful girl
'If you love your rebs' sums this place up very accurately. If songs about who shot who and the Maze prison then you will have great time. Try Brennans instead, at least you will leave with smile on your face!
Thug of a security guard chased friends down street battered them with bat and pepper sprayed. Independent witnesses confirmed friends not a fault. Avoid it.
We went into the pub as it appeared to have a good vibe.however we were saddened by the pro IRA songs.Talk about preaching hatred to young and impressionable youngsters .Leave the bloodshed and the troubles behind and start singing happy songs Awful
If you are british do not go here, singing pro IRA songs for hours. If your not Irish, probably beat avoid.
