A lovely family run local hotel. Comfy bed, modern bathroom and great views of the lake. Despite the windy road up to the hotel, it’s relatively quiet and easy to drive to. There are quite a few towns within a 30 minute drive of the hotel. The food at the hotel was exceptional, easily one of the best meals we had during our week trip around Como/Milan!

We really enjoyed our meals at this fabulous restaurant. The views are amazing but the food is even better. We had the caramelised onion cakes which were incredible, the gnocchi was like a cloud and the steak on the salt stone was amazing. We loved it so much we came back the next the day too. Staff are very friendly including the owner Simonoe who was a great help to us. We want to come back to Italy just for this food!!! Thank you so much
Spectacular view over the lake, cosy ambient, delicious food (the antipasti degustation is a must) prepared by Chef who has been working there for 26 years, as well as kind service and attention to detail by the staff/owner. Absolute must if you are in the zone!

Our family had a great stay for 4 nights at hotel.🥰 people who worked there very kind and friendly! We had a dinner two nights in a row and it was lovely and delicious. So does wine . Maybe we expect a bit more for breakfast ,because ir wast much to choose of ,but other from that it was lovely stay 😊
We had a great dinner here. The view was implacable. The owner was serving the table and very knowledgeable about the wine. We enjoyed very much our food. Will come back next time.
Two different feelings from staying. From the restaurant perspective it was an amazing experience. The food was delicious. Reasonably priced. Wide variety of wines, guys know what to recommend. Service also on a decent level. However, on the other hand, the room was not what we expected. Everything was clean, but small. But the biggest disappointment was the absence of a fridge. Bit far away from the lake. Can't complain.
The location is gorgeous and to complete the perfect image, the food is really absolutely sublime, and by far the beef was the best I ever had. All the hotel and restaurant staff was really friendly,helpful and nice, they give their best to make any guest feel wonderful and we will definitely return for sure. Thank you Locanda Sant'Anna
A family-managed restaurant with a great garden and lake view. Perfect for any season. During the winter, you can enjoy your meal inside the old Villa near the fireplace, and in summer, you can have lunch on the outside terrace in the shade of the old trees. The Lake view from the hill impresses!
We stopped over for one night on our way from London to Tuscany. Locanda sant'anna is set in a lovely position on the hills 3 km from the lake. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed our dinner which was served outdoors with a wonderful view and consisted of local dishes. I'm a vegetarian and I was spoilt for choice (which is unusual for Italian restaurants). I think we will make it into a regular stop over when we drive to Italy.
Excellent evening. The views are delightful, the service attentive but not overly so, and the menu is good. Reasonably priced for good food. Had a wonderful bottle of Umbrian full bodied red to add to the pleasure. Thank you!!
Last time we were enjoying this place was 12 years ago. Still the location is just great having a nice view to the lake and the surrounding mountains. The Italian cuisine was delicious and supported very nicely with great service.
We used the grounds to host our destination wedding ceremony with 25 guests ... we are all from the USA. Alberto was wonderful to work with, they did an outstanding job with the food, the price was very reasonable, their service was top notch, and they were flexible with any of our desires. It was the most perfect of days, in one of the most amazing locations ... overlooking Lake Como! We can't wait to go back for another glass of wine, on their terrace. Our friends are STILL talking about it!

Lovely spot overlooking the lake. Stopped for dinner and had the roast beef with veg and potatoes - excellently cooked. Atmosphere let this place down, maybe more lively during peak season!

The location is very nice, with a view of lake Como in the distance (you can see Villa Balbianello and Bellagio behind it). The food is very reasonably priced. The only criticism we have is that some of our dishes were considerably too salty.
