Every single day I go to the 🌟Denny's in Santee🌟 There are a lot of regular customers there that also come in regularly. The food is so delicious! Denny's has the best ranch dressing! The atmosphere is always cozy and relaxing. They also have an outdoor dining area with string lights which is really nice. This is definitely the best Denny's. Every staff member and the managers are such warm loving friendly people. 😊👍 Everyone who works there is beautiful and has a great personality. They chat with everyone and always invite the customers to come back! The service is A+ and the Halloween decorations are super cute too! 🎃🎃 I am obsessed with the Grand Slam Burrito. It is so YUMMY! My two most FAVORITE people at 🌟 Santee Denny's 🌟are definitely Andrew & Arlene! I wanted to come on here and give them a huge SHOUT OUT! 😎👍💃🏼👍 They take such amazing care of me. It feels like you have extended family when you come in here. THANK YOU SO MUCH everyone at the Santee Denny's! You are all SUPER AMAZING PEOPLE! #ROCKSTARS! 🥰😍😎⭐⭐

Wow the food was awesome and the prices were amazing . I had the salmon and my son had waffles. I was very impressed with how much food we got ! The salad that comes with your meal is big , I loved the garlic bread . I ordered online everything was made specifically how I requested . Less than $20 including tip .

We were here 10.5.25 and everything was pretty good. Our server (dont recall, Veronica maybe?) was awesome. Food was on point also, my gf commented on how the egg in the breakfast sandwich she ordered was cooked just right. Overall a solid spot and nice that this is here for when you want dennys but dont wanna go to La Mesa or whatever.

i came to eat at dennys and the service was great. I got greeted when i first came in the door with a smile. I got seated right away and asked what to drink. A server named brinley helped me run over the menu. great service and food 10/10 experience

My wife and I frequent this establishment for breakfast on the weekends. The food and service are great. We always try to get Tanya as our server. She's very personable, a great server, and is the main reason we go to this location for breakfast.

Best food and experience I’ve had at a Dennys for a while. Food was extremely quick and a little better than expected. Our server was very kind and attentive. No complaints, which I consider rare at Dennys. Definitely the best location I’ve been to in a while.

came in for breakfast at Denny’s and was blown away by how good the food was. Everything was cooked perfectly hot, fresh, and full of flavor. I want to give a huge shoutout to the cook, Sergio, for absolutely nailing it. You can tell when someone takes pride in their work, and Sergio definitely does. Thank you for starting my day off with such a great meal. I’ll definitely be coming back! I almost forgot Heather was amazing as well so thank you for today!

A nicer location compared to the other locations, but still same good food just like the other Denny's. This, time I was trying to use a reward deal that I got in the email, it didn't work. In the app or the browser still same issue. I logged out and back again, same. Finally I asked the lady (Carolina) she recognized the issue and apologized for any inconvenience. They gave us a free delicious milkshake and offered a discount. I was a little embarrassed that I asked about the reward. This type of attitude makes the customers always favor Denny's and always come back. Thank you Carolina and Higinio.

Don’t count on them to be open at 5am. When we did get in as the second customer, the food still came out cool. A little disappointed.

Smaller Denny's diner, waitress was attentive and ok. We liked the boneless wings and Oreo milkshake alot. Coffee was very hot and when asked they refilled it for free. Briochie French Toast $4.39 for 2 pieces (nothing else included) seems to be something frozen from a box, not made onsite. I did not like it and only ate one and left the rest. I would recommend normal French toast or pancakes instead, but this is probably the same at all Denny's chain diners. TIP: look at the Denny's website before ordering it seems they have some cheaper deals not listed on the menu.

Food was good but service is not good at all. Someone took our order and brought out the food out. Nobody came to check in to see if we needed anything and no one brought us our ticket when we were done. For being a Sunday morning the restaurant was not at all busy. This was my second time at this location and I've had the same experience both times. Waitresses need to work on their customer service.

iDrive Diesel

Placed online curbside pickup order for my disabled father to pick up. Nearly 20 minutes past the time of their site saying, "Order Ready", they still hadn't come out with order or answered phone. Father eventually walked in to find the employee, and she claimed she "Had been too busy to answer the phone or walk the order out". There weren't more than 3 customers in the place. She then lied to him and said the food had only just finished. Food had obviously been sitting around ready for 10+ minutes. Sadly, will not be getting food from here going forward as the service is not what it used to be. And the food portions were quite small.

We stopped by today because kids eat free on Tuesdays. There were a lot of families with kids, and I understand they were busy. But we ended up leaving after waiting nearly 30 min without anyone serving us. It started with one of the servers letting us know it was going to be 10 min for a table. After a few minutes she told us to pick any table. We waited another 10 min before someone took our drinks. We just wanted water. We waited a long time before anyone even got close to us, and had to call the same server from the front door. We asked for the 6-8-10 menu, and they gave us a little attitude about it. She seemed a little frustrated and told us we can't order from the 6-8-10 menu and get the kids eat free. That's fine my 2 oldest weren't going to order from the kids menu. We waited and waited. Another person brought us our waters and asked if they took our order. We let her know, no one had taken our order. We decided to wait another 5 min before getting up and leaving. We told the nice lady that no one ever took our orders. The other ladies working didn't seem like they cared much.

I had the worst experience here. I should have known it wasn't going to be good when I walked in and the 2 people behind me were seated first. The hostess thought that I was with the 2 people that were paying in front of me. After I was seated, without a menu or utensils, I waited 10 minutes and 48 seconds (I started watching a YouTube video after I was seated so I went off the time of the video) for the waitress to even notice me. She took my order, still not noticing that I didn't have utensils. I waited another 10 minutes for the food. The Denver omelette I ordered was really good (I also ordered a hot coffee), which makes this entire experience upsetting. The service was so bad. The waitress I had didn't check up on me, I don't even know what her name was. I had to flag down another waitress to ask for my check. My waitress came with the check and I asked for a box for my toast. I waited FIVE minutes for a box and ended up just grabbing the toast in one hand with my receipt in the other to go pay. The gentleman that was going to cash me out noticed I was just holding toast and gave me a box. I had a 20% off coupon I wanted to use from my Denny's app, so I showed the gentleman the barcode from my app at the register. He tried to scan it with his scan gun a couple times before telling me that his scan gun doesn't really work. He asked for my phone number to look up my account, so I gave it. I told him I wanted to use my 20% off coupon and he ended up redeeming my Booth reward for the coffee I had. The incompetence is astonishing here. This is the closest Denny's to me and I will not be going back.

I love the food here, i work and get a 30 min lunch which i spent picking up my berry slam with hashbrowns for $29. Quite expensive but i thought worth it. When i get there its sort of busy but this lady seemed to take her sweet time handing me my order that was just in front of me on the diner bar. I get to work and i am missing the hashbrowns. By this time my lunch is spent but i went back anyway to pick up the rest of my food, i get there and the same lady says sorry and offers me a drink. I said okay thanks can i have an iced tea with lemon. She says ok and when she hands it to me i ask if there is lemon in it juustt in case she didn't hear me. She says yes there is! I walk out and check and there was no lemon ?. So i had to go in the store 3 different times with my lunch wasted and my food COLD by this time. I walk in ask for the lemon that she didnt add in when i confirmed and she put it in a little container and i ask her to just please add it to my cup i dont want more stuff to carry. Dont know what was going on today if staff was overwhelmed but this lady was just not with it and wasted my time and spoiled my lunch.
