If you want to enjoy great food, I recommend this place. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and above all, the service is warm and friendly. A plus is that they accept bank transfers; a downside is that they should have card terminals. Prices start at 190 and up... Keep that in mind. 10/10

Of the many restaurants on the road to Santiago, Los Arcos has that quality of cuisine that makes you want to return after days or months, and together with the human quality of those who run the family business, you have an exquisite and pleasant time.

Precaria

They have a different menu every day and are only open on weekends and holidays. Main dishes are 170 pesos (pork roast, chicken in mole sauce, cortadillo, squash with pork, etc.) and specialty dishes are 250 pesos (arrachera steak, kid goat in sauce, etc.). Fruit-flavored waters are 25 pesos (half a liter) and 50 pesos (liter). I highly recommend the pork roast, which has a unique flavor here, from the meat to the sauce. The mole is delicious. It tastes like those divine recipes that few places have. The cortadillo is good, and the kid goat in sauce is also good, but I would order something else, both for flavor and price. THE BOILED SALSA IS DELICIOUS. It's made with boiled tomatillos, tomatoes, serrano peppers, and cambray peppers. It retains that fresh, just-made flavor and has a mild but satisfying spiciness. I wanted to drink it like juice. The tortillas are handmade to order and absolutely delicious. The beans and rice are good. They run out of guacamole by the afternoon. The tamarind and hibiscus fruit drinks are very tasty. I go for the hibiscus because it's less sweet. Friendly service. Pleasant atmosphere, though a bit hot, and prices are somewhat high, but the portions are generous. I'll definitely be back.

A great place to go for lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. We've tried the cortadillo, the asado/adobo, the cabrito, and the chiles rellenos with their respective punch. The portions are quite filling with a side dish of your choice. They have parking in front and at the back of the lot.

We went as a family to try this restaurant for the first time. The portions are generous for the price, the cordatillo was very good, as was the cabrito, the waitresses are very friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed, perfect for a family visit. I would go again!

The only bad thing is that there is no menu, you don't know how much each dish costs and you can end up paying more than you expected.

Comida sabrosa pero algo cara. A mi novia y a mí nos cayó pesada la comida, probablemente por el exceso de aceite, sirven buena cantidad de comida por platillo con rico sazón. Lo más agradable fue ver las tortillas recién hechas a mano. No tienen menús para ver precios y platillos, nos tomó por sorpresa los precios. No vayan en época de calor, no tienen clima, solo ventiladores y no son suficiente para aminorar el calor aunque esté algo abierto. Lleven dinero en efectivo ya que no manejan terminal para tarjetas. Atendieron bien. Te regalan dulces al terminar de comer. Hay estacionamiento gratuito atrás del local. Se ve local muy informal, casi familiar. Les falta más profesionalismo y pulir detalles.

Prices are a bit high but acceptable, averaging $200 to $400 pesos per person. The food is passable, and the staff is "friendly." The only thing I didn't like was that they don't have a physical menu. They don't offer many dishes, but a menu is essential in a restaurant, especially considering their prices. Also, from the beginning, we asked if they accepted card payments because we didn't have cash, and they said they did. But when it came time to pay, it turned out they didn't, and it was a huge hassle trying to get money. To top it off, they looked at us as if we weren't going to pay, which wasn't our intention since we asked from the start. We finally found an ATM, and yes, they apologized at the end, but they treated us badly in the process, even though it was their fault from the beginning. We told them from the moment we walked in that they accepted card payments, and they said yes, even bank transfers, but they didn't accept either. They made us feel incredibly embarrassed. This is the last time I'll eat there.
