This afternoon we stopped in on our way back from a bike ride on the beautiful cycle path. Although we only had two cappuccinos and croissants, I wanted to highlight the extreme friendliness and kindness of the lady serving the tables, which unfortunately isn't always a given. Thank you.

Scalo4 is located on the bike path between Imperia and Ospedaletti. It's a fantastic location for cyclists passing through. It offers excellent breakfasts, even on very comfortable sofas. Last Sunday, I tried lunch with an 87-year-old friend. We had the grilled fish and vegetables and the pistachio semifreddo. The grilled fish was made on the spot on an outdoor barbecue and consisted of a slice of swordfish, a slice of salmon, slices of pepper and eggplant. They were cooked perfectly, not burned, and soft on the inside. The semifreddo had a sponge cake base, with pistachio ice cream on top, topped with chopped meringue. They also served excellent warm sliced ​​bread. With water and coffee, we paid €24.70 each. We thought it was a fair price. Don't forget that we had asked for a table in the shade, and for the entire lunch, from 1 to 2 PM, we were in the shade. At the end, the manager came to ask us if we liked it, and we had a pleasant chat. Don't forget that Scalo4 is a bar, so you shouldn't expect it to be a restaurant, but in my opinion, the 5 stars I gave it are well deserved. We also digested well, and everything was very tasty and light.

Scalo 4 isn't just a place to stop, but a true hub that promises complete engagement. With sofas, relaxation areas, tables, and bike racks, the venue has become a place where, in addition to its products, you can enjoy the wonderful and constant kindness of the owner and her staff, an enchanting view of the Santo Stefano sea, a 27 km long bike and pedestrian path, and a moment of relaxation and joy, a well-deserved break between stops. What makes this bar a success is the investment made in combining the qualities of the location with the preparation, creativity, and enthusiasm of a qualified staff. The prices are very fair. Highly recommended.

Alle 10 del mattino ancora il nolo bici chiuso. La ragazza a cui ho chiesto spiegazioni è stata maleducata, saccente e superba, dicendo che erano incasinati e non sa quando avrebbero aperto.. Se non sei capace di gestire due cose con tre tavolini con 4 persone e 6 clienti che aspettano il noleggio forse è meglio cambiare mestiere e soprattutto imparare l'educazione.

I would like to point out that I only looked for Scalo 4 to use the bike rental service and not to consume food or drinks, so my review excludes evaluations of the bar. Well, regarding the bike rental I would say that the service is rather lacking. In the heat, especially with small children, it is better/advisable/more appropriate to go out by bike early in the morning or late in the evening and frankly the reduced hours (9.00-17.00/17.30) penalizes this activity. Suggestion: extend the opening hours.
