But the true soul of the place is the owner, who, together with his close-knit staff, manages to make every evening a truly enjoyable one. The attentive service and attention to the quality of the ingredients are the key to the success of this restaurant, which offers a truly unforgettable experience. The farinata is 5-star, while the pizzas are on par with the city's most renowned establishments: a 6-star pizzata, among the best I've ever had! My wife, on the other hand, opted for the kitchen, enjoying a sumptuous appetizer and a simply delicious fillet steak with green peppercorns. And to round things off, the desserts: authentic creations of fine pastry, sublime and perfect for a sweet end to the evening. Congratulations to the entire Pontino team! 🍕👏

Il Pontino offers excellent traditional Ligurian dishes, along with imaginative off-menu options that will excite your taste buds. The pizza and farinata are also excellent, with a perfect balance between quality and price. All this is complemented by attentive and meticulous service under the watchful eye of the owner, who has dedicated himself every day to his business for 26 years. I've been to this place several times, with friends and colleagues. The food is truly delicious, from starter to dessert...my favorite is the one in the photo: the house-made crème brulee. Nice place.

Very nice and positive service! Very tasty food! We had carpaccio, lasagna and ravioli, some green salat with vegetables and a bottle of red wine. Btw, wine list is awesome! Only one small thing - stuff doesn’t speak English, only one guy who was very nice to us. But anyway language wasn’t a problem at all. We recommend to book a table. It’s really busy here. Parking place also not easy to find. Anyway, we recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Pizzeria molto valida come servizio e piatti proposti, pizze sottili molto buone e anche belle da vedere, con vasta scelta . Molto gentili il proprietario e collaboratori.Bravi.
I went there for lunch. The food was good. The owner isn't known for his friendliness and warmth (but that's nothing new in Genoa 😂) Good prices.

Servizio pessimo personale incompetente, ho sentito gravi dolori interni e rumori ambigui nel mio corpo. Inutile dire che prima di mangiare in questo posto dovete prenotare una lavanda gastrica dal rumeno di fiducia. Mi dispiace molto che questo posto sia peggiorato persino più di via corso perrone e il conto può essere giusto, sempre che tu non abbia provato il cibo gratis della caritas. E l’acqua ha un buon brezzo, se siete dei camionisti e andate sempre dall’autogrill. Consigliatissimo. P.s. Il souffle è più secco di un copertone.
Very thin pizza, not my favorite but overall good. Anchovy dish ok. What is disappointing is the service. The staff tries hard, but the result is not convincing: booked, arrived early, first to order (a plate of anchovies and 2 pizzas). Inexplicably last to be served. I'm sorry, that's just not the way to do it (and if it is done, since it can happen, a more conscious attitude of the shortcoming is appreciated). Greetings

C'ero stato un'altra volta ed era già stata una brutta prima impressione, ma a causa dell'orario e del pienone di gente che c'era ho voluto sorvolare e darci un'altra chance. Tuttavia, i problemi dell'altra volta ci sono sempre anche ad orario di apertura: servizio deludente, confusionario e che si viene lasciati a sé stanti per venti minuti prima anche solo di avere un menù. L'attesa della pizza tramite consumazione sul posto è ridicolmente lunga (anche oltre l'ora e mezza) soprattutto a causa delle priorità che sembrano avere nei confronti degli ordini da asporto. Una volta arrivata la pizza (e con una testa così dal chiasso della sala), questa è tutto sommato una buona pizza, ma viene rovinata appunto da quei problemi sopracitati. Infine, questa pizzeria non fa per niente per una persona come me, ma comunque potrebbe essere utile andare solamente su ordini da asporto come chissà quante altre persone prima di me, magari l'attesa per le pizze sarà meno lunga.
