A welcoming restaurant with several dining rooms, offering a tranquil and well-organized atmosphere, ideal for both family meals and gatherings with friends. The food is high-quality, with well-prepared dishes and a wide variety on the menu. Their pizzas are a standout and their signature dish. The staff provides impeccable service: friendly, attentive, and efficient at all times. Overall, a highly recommended spot for those seeking excellent cuisine in the area.
One of the best places to eat in the area. It's a bit more expensive, but they make up for it with a truly exquisite menu. The pizzas have a special touch, with a powerful, delicious, and well-loaded dough. It would be unforgivable not to try some of their meats, with a special mention for the Iberian pluma. But, for me, the best are the risottos and scrambled eggs, full of flavor and smooth in the mouth. We round things off with their desserts; any of them is a resounding 10. They have a spacious, well-kept, and clean space, as well as several wonderful terraces. The staff provides excellent service and are attentive. Stop has become one of my must-visits every time I visit Sanabria.
A large restaurant with spacious rooms and delicious food. I recommend the mushroom risotto. The pizzas were loaded with ingredients and the dough was thick and bready. We ordered the pizza stand and it was good. It wasn't too greasy, but it's quite a bit of food, even if it's small. I expected the brownie with ice cream to be bigger, but it was very good, warm and soft. The service was friendly and good.
A great place to eat while passing through the Sanabria area. Reservations are highly recommended. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and came out quickly. Excellent service, we left very happy. There's plenty of parking. The place is well decorated, charming, and cozy. Recommended!
I've decided to give them a 5 because they had the best pizzas and the best service in the area. We'll definitely be back. We came because the place was recommended to us, and it certainly didn't disappoint. We ordered the pork rind croquettes, which were SPECTACULAR… a MUST-TRY!!! And then two pizzas: one carbonara and the other STOP. We loved them; the crust was delicious and the flavor spectacular. You can tell they're homemade with quality ingredients. Additionally, the service was excellent, which is worth noting since restaurant service in this area isn't usually very good. I 100% recommend coming here!!
This restaurant surprises you for several reasons when you first visit it. First, the menu, which is different from the usual menu in the area; second, its location, a sort of mansion next to a road that doesn't lead to many places, so you don't just stop by this restaurant, but rather on purpose (and you have to make a reservation if you want to be sure to eat, mind you). Second, its aesthetics and interior decor. We discovered it in 2017 and have been back several times since. The "Italian" part of the menu is very good. The pizzas are good and have a wide variety of flavors. They are available in two sizes. The pasta dishes are also excellent. And from the rest of the menu, some dishes stand out, such as the pork knuckle and the Iberian pluma, which was my favorite dish on the menu, but on my last visit, I thought the sauce wasn't the same as before; I liked it less than on other occasions. There isn't a single dessert that particularly stands out. The service is usually fast and the staff is quite pleasant. The prices are good, and there are two large parking areas, one on each side of the road. Last visited, August 2022. Review published in August 2023. My exact rating would be 4.5.
The restaurant is very, very large, with different areas. It's air-conditioned, with tables spaced apart, and several wooden high chairs available if needed. On the walls, there's an exhibition of paintings by a local artist. It has a lovely, spacious terrace decorated with plants. The service was spectacular; the waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive. They were very nice to the children. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. It's famous for its pizzas and mushroom dishes. We were two adults and two children. For ourselves, we ordered porcini mushroom salad and grilled octopus. We were also going to order the truffle chicken, but the waitress recommended we wait in case it was too much food. She said she'd just order the salad and the octopus for us, and thank goodness, because we wouldn't have been able to try the chicken. The salad was fantastic, and the octopus was delicious. For the kids, we ordered a medium pizza; we saw the large one on another table, and it was enormous. The pizza was about the size of a large dinner plate, with a slightly thick, American-style crust. It was delicious. For dessert, we had cheesecake with homemade blackberry jam. Absolutely delicious. We loved the place. We felt very comfortable and had a fantastic dinner. Plus, the menu is extensive, so we're eager to try more things!
Great place, well-organized and manages reservations, with COVID-19 social distancing measures in place. The food was excellent; I highly recommend the cheese pizzas—all loaded with toppings and very well prepared. The Iberian pork shoulder was very good, cooked perfectly, flavorful, and delicious. A very good review. The porcini mushroom salad was exceptional, and the cheesecake dessert was especially good. The price was reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food. I recommend it for lunch or dinner.
Excellent restaurant ✓ Delicious pizzas, (mentioning that the menu includes a variety of dishes such as lasagna, pasta, and risotto, among others) Without a doubt, if you're in the area, stopping by is a must. Regarding the service, the waiters are very friendly and attentive, and the dining room has both an indoor and outdoor seating area, which is a plus. (And a tip: if you don't want to wait in line, make a reservation in advance, as it's a very popular spot in the area). In short, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
We've been several times and it's the best pizzeria in the area. We ordered Hawaiian salad as a starter and it was quite tasty and highly recommended. As for the pizzas, the portions are quite generous, with a thick crust for those who like that type of pizza. I recommend the "stop" (a type of pizza). I'd give them a 6 or 7 for quality, but I've noticed an improvement in the crust compared to last year. Suggestions for improvement include perhaps using better mozzarella or a different tomato sauce; for the crust, maybe they could offer a thinner option for those who prefer that type of pizza. The desserts were weaker than expected, although I do recommend the cheesecake. We'll be back next year!
We ordered four individual-sized pizzas, and they were adequately sized. The dough was a bit salty and oily, but overall the flavor was good (I give it a 6.5). We also ordered three desserts, and the price, including a drink, came to around €62. I recommend the ham and cheesecake; they're quite tasty. The waiters were very attentive, especially the Portuguese waitress. A traditional place to return to, as there aren't many other options in the area.
One of the Top Restaurant Destinations in the area. Delicious authentic local and Italian cuisine. Very friendly and enthusiastic service.
A pizzeria that stands out for its commitment to local produce. Although they offer takeout service, the ideal option is to enjoy them in-house. What really sets it apart, besides the variety, is the dough: thick, with a very characteristic oily touch, unlike most pizzerias. They have another location in Zamora, but this one is the original and the most pleasant. Their most iconic pizza is the Pizza Stop, probably the most recommended option for a first visit.
