Had our engagement dinner here over the weekend and it was a great experience! We worked with Sales Manager, Casey, who helped us create a custom menu for our dinner. She even made them on theme the night of! Service and food was great even for us having a large group. Highly recommend hosting an event here!!

I’m honestly surprised with the current ratings of this place because I have nothing but nice things to say! Disclaimer is that we did not come when it was busy season and may have an impact. We didn’t have any reservations and didn’t need any for a 7:30pm dinner time. We were able to sit outdoors which was covered and able to enjoy the wonderful weather. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Good wine selection. The server had a hard time helping me to decide between the eggplant parmigiana or the ravioli because she said that were both dishes were so good. I cannot speak for the eggplant but the ravioli was DELICIOUS! They didn’t skimp on the number of ravioli or the stuffing. I absolutely plan to come back the next time I’m in town.

Both the service and dinner were absolutely amazing. Plus the staff went above and beyond. When we left the restaurant, we went directly to a concert. Only to learn after arriving that Alex had left his phone behind. After some calls and talking with the landscaping company we were able to get someone on the phone and an employee came by to get us the phone even when the restaurant was closed. Thank you SO much Curtis!! We loved our experience and are looking forward to the next time we are able to go back.

Not my first time here but wanted to try a week night instead of weekend. The bar area can get noisy making conversation at the dining table difficult. Tonight the noise level ok. I have to say the waiter and porter were fantastic. I did not need for anything. Attentive but not smothering. Friendly and informative when it came to menu. Started with Caesar salad. Romaine crisp, plenty of fresh parm and a wonderful baked Parma cheese disk on top. Offered fantastic flavor and crunch to salad but the super surprise were the whole anchovies in salad. Wow! Fresh, not swamped in oil. I love anchovies in oil but this was refreshing. Next was the appetizer of eggplant rolled around ricotta. The eggplant was not bitter, very tender with delicious breading, both ricotta and topping of mozzarella mouthwatering but the real applause goes to the tomato sauce. It was fresh tasting and did not taste like a it came from a tin can. The fresh basil balanced out the dish. I still had room for one of the specials which consisted of shrimp and scallops in a delicate cream sauce with sun dried tomatoes over linguine. Portion plentiful and I ended up bringing half of it home. Arrived at just before opening without a reservation and hostess let us sit at table outdoors and brought us water since we did not want to sit at bar. Dined inside but plenty of tables outside under roof in case of rain.

Delicious apps and entrees at one of the hot spots on North Broadway. Excellent chicken dishes and spot on pizza. Attentive service and strong cocktails. Ambient outdoor seating that’s not too noisy. Lush decor with vibes of a comfortable villa. Solid value.

Went here to celebrate a new job. This place is amazing for high end dining. Cozy warm atmosphere and awesome staff. Michael our waiter was outstanding. Our food was so good, especially the calamari. Would definitely go back for a special night out. One of the best places to go in Saratoga.

One of my favorite restaurants in Saratoga. Great Italian, atmosphere nice - they've just done a remodel and it's beautiful inside. Nice patio in better weather. Servers are attentive. Service is fast, but we never feel rushed, even on times when they've been slammed. Sometimes there is a wait - but well worth it.

Hostess sat us in a dark area. I asked to change the table and she gave me the your kidding right look. The Calamaretti Fritti was overcooked and rubbery. I had the Lasagna and hubby had Mezzanine Otero. I felt like the food was premade and flashed heated. It did Not taste homemade and noodles were mushy. Plus it was served so fast there was no way it was just made. Would not go back again.

The photos/website/menu would lead one to think that this is a fancier restaurant and the website emphasizes special occasions such as anniversaries, celebration dinners, etc. While the restaurant itself was gorgeous, it was definitely casual as the patrons were in shorts and tshirts, hostess was wearing a tank top, etc. If you’re looking for casual this wouldn’t be an issue but we were looking for a nice spot for our anniversary dinner. The hostess asked us what the occasion was since we were dressed up and we told her it was our anniversary. She still sat us at a tiny table sandwiched between a large, loud group and the bar even though there were open tables on the other side where it was quieter or the patio. We felt very rushed by the staff and were only in the restaurant for 30-40 minutes tops. Our meal came out minutes after we ordered which makes me think it may be precooked and just assembled and brought out. Her Ravioli Alla Vodka was fantastic, no complaints. I got the “special” which was seafood and pasta in a fra diavolo sauce (pretty sure it’s just the Frutti Di Mare from the menu but advertised as a “special”). The sauce was dynamite and I don’t usually like tomato sauces. The pasta itself was okay, nothing special. The clams were cooked well but the scallops were overcooked and the shrimp was so overcooked it was rubbery. The check before tip was around $120 for the two entrees and one drink each. I could see why people love the place. But for us, especially for our anniversary, it just missed the mark.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but our experience at Forno was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it—especially given how much we spent. We were a group of six, and the service was very spotty. Our waiter would disappear for long stretches, and we repeatedly had to ask and follow up on things we had already ordered. At one point, we had to ask two different staff members—not our waiter—for the check. Even then, items we had asked about earlier arrived as we were literally on our way out the door. The pizza itself was undercooked: the cheese wasn’t fully melted, and the crust was limp. It wasn’t what we expected or ordered, and that only added to the overall frustration. On top of that, the table was quite small for our group, and the interior was very loud, which made it hard to enjoy the experience or even have a conversation. I understand that restaurants can have off nights, especially when they’re busy, and this review reflects only our experience. That said, for the price and the reputation, it fell well short. If you do go, I’d suggest avoiding peak or very busy nights.

The atmosphere and staff are great. Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The food left alot to be desired. My sister and both got the pollo panato. Both came out lukewarm. My chicken tasted like it was fried in very old oil. I had to order a side of marinara sauce so I could drown the chicken in it, to mask the taste of the chicken. We also changed one of the sides to pasta, which had an upcharge of $4! We didn’t know this until the bill came. Usually that’s communicated when you place your order.
