We often return to Suavis Restaurant whenever we can, and we never miss their Bagna Cauda evening, expertly prepared using authentic Piedmontese recipes by Chef Franco. The welcome is always warm, and the table is expertly set by the lovely Manuela who manages the dining room. A very welcoming and intimate location, ideal for romantic dinners or dinners with friends. As mentioned, our dinner was based on Bagna Cauda, ​​expertly prepared and served. The wine list is excellent for all tastes, but we opted for a Piedmontese 2022 Nebbiolo from the Vietti winery. In short, if you want to treat yourself to a dinner in a refined setting with a menu that will surprise you, stop by Suavis in the heart of Savona, and I'm sure you'll be back. The restaurant is centrally located, but not the easiest to find because the street is quite dark. However, the search is worth it for the overall experience. The lady is incredibly kind and helpful, and the service is informal but attentive and never intrusive. Every dish I ordered was perfectly seasoned and had exquisite flavors. A great find in the center of Savona, about a ten-minute walk from the dock. The ground-floor restaurant is elegant but not overly pretentious. The hostess is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and recommending excellent wines. The dishes are very good and beautifully presented, without too many frills to showcase the excellent ingredients used. You can tell the food is freshly prepared. Last-minute dinner, luckily some customers had just cancelled. What a kind welcome. As if we were regulars, but for us it was our first experience, very kind! They pampered us with their dishes, with very fresh products that delighted the palate, playing with classic dishes with a touch of surprise. Obviously a very beautiful place, small but very elegant. The atmosphere is refined and elegant without being ostentatious, with a small number of tables that encourage interaction between diners. The cuisine is varied and diverse, catering to all tastes; we've now tried several dishes and have always been thoroughly satisfied. The wine cellar is well-stocked with fine wines at reasonable prices. The average price is absolutely in line with the quality of the offerings. Ultimately, it's certainly one of the best restaurants in Savona, one we'll return to frequently and recommend to friends.

The experience was magnificent, and I'm not saying this because I'm biased! Upon our arrival, we were greeted impeccably; they hung up our jackets for us, which was truly appreciated! The wine list was truly interesting; we ordered a Malvirà Arneis, which was truly exceptional! The food was amazing, one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at, from appetizer to dessert, with unique, well-balanced flavors and quality ingredients, all enhanced by perfect cooking.
