Every single time I order delivery from this restaurant...it's amazing. They deliver in decent time and my food is always hot and fresh when it arrives. The delivery drivers and employees who answer the phone are always kind to me. This great tasting food stands out from any other chinese restaurant around here so I highly recommend it! Haven't been disappointed by hunan wok yet.

We have been ordering Hunan Wok for over 25 years. They have a great selection of dishes (my favorite is the chicken and vegetables) and the food is always hot and delicious! The delivery is quick and reliable, which is nice after a hard day's work when you just don't feel like cooking! They also have a nice wonton soup. My family's favorite is the General Tso's chicken with whichever variety of rice you'd like. Dial and enjoy!

Delicious food, full menu, vegetarian friendly, friendly staff, all with low prices. 4.55 stars: bench seats need repair. Benches have had lots of use - we eat-in at least once a week! :)

Hunan wok is the only Chinese food I will order for the last three years. I honestly love this place. They make the best wonton soup and crab Rangoon I have ever had. Every time. I can not wait for them to reopen after the lockdown.

Hunan Wok is Amazing! Located on the Historic upper Union St in Schenectady,NY. The Dine in experience is fantastic the inside looks beautiful, the staff are friendly and the food is superb! I highly recommend Hunan Wok to all my friends and Family. The price is the lowest around for the amount of food you get. I'm in love with the Sesame Chicken and Crab Rangoon; However the restaurant is a bit hard to find. It's located between Pia's TaeKwonDo and Dunkin Donuts The address is 1617 Union St. Five Starz!!!

They're my go-to Chinese takeout. I'm not much of an aficionado and haven't tried many this in the menu, I'm mostly an orange chicken, Szechuan chicken kind of guy. But it's always delicious. I just had some 😁

The Lo Mein is incredible. Very nice portion sizes, little sparing on the meat sometimes but for $9 it's a great choice.

They changed emphasis from dine in to a take out business. They still have clean tables but dining room is basically a warehouse. No biggie.

Food nothing to make you go crazy. There better tasting Chinese food in Schenectady, very exciting too.

It's takeout Chinese. I wish it was more spicy and less oily. However, the food is comforting and reasonably priced.

I ordered Wonton soup and shrimp chowmain. The Wonton soup was warm, and grossly bland. The shrimp chowmain was a handful of shrimp and a lot of wet cabbage. Like, there is a swamp of cabbage in here with the suggestion of shrimp in it. I recommend their General Tsos instead.

This used to be our regular go-to restaurant for Chinese take-out. Quality, service, and even the size of the egg rolls and fortune cookies have suffered since being under new management. Last order came over an hour and a half late. Disappointed we have to find a new place; gave them a good number of tries as new owners and no sign of improvement.

Not a good place. I went there for lunch and was told they have homemade wontons. When I got my wontons they were not homemade and they were gross. They lied to me and when I went back to confront them they said they would rather lose my business than make it right. The place is dirt, the furniture is ripped, the service is terrible, the fish are in a dirty tank. They do not accommodate to their customers. I will never return and I advise you NOT to go.

Chicken was waaay too cripsy and very dry. I normally dont write reviews on food, but I absolutely had to. First time reveiving chicken like that. And the portion was also very small. Not happy

Its decent, had an issue with hard rice twice, finally went back for a round 3. Rice was hard, seemed not prepared properly. Also hair (not animal) on my chicken. Avoiding from here on out.

My husband and I decided to go here for our anniversary, it’s local and I wanted Chinese. We dined in and left halfway through the appetizer. The table was filthy, but worse were the menus. Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant you would think the service would have been excellent, we couldn’t get silverware and a young child brought over our glasses of water with his hands in the glasses. Even that could be considered quaint but the appetizer pushed it all over the edge to where we left. We ordered Szechuan dumplings and when they came there was a huge blob of peanut butter on the top. I kid you not, but we still tried to power through as it was our anniversary,, but the fingernail on in the peanut butter on the dumplings was the last straw. We tried to get the attention of our waitress, the only other person in the restaurant besides her kids but she was too busy on her phone so we left 20 bucks on the table and left. We ended up going to Pinhead Susan’s but neither of us had an appetite. We don’t usually celebrate our anniversary by going out, money is tight and with two kids in college we don’t usually indulge in luxuries. We just wanted to take a sliver of our time and money and have a nice meal to celebrate 21 years of marriage. This meal was almost symbolic, unexpected kids, unexpected gross food, and two people navigating it all together. Happy ending, just do not eat at this place. I’d give it less stars if I could.

Ordered online based on the reviews, walked in and was mildly concerned at the completely deserted, dark seating area, but thought maybe it was an off time. Food was very hot, seemed ok, but when I tried the General tso’s, was cloyingly sweet, had only two broccoli florets and came with a bonus super long hair 🤢. Nooope.

Worst Chinese American food. Uses wrong ingredients for simple made food. Also the owner flipped off one of my friends for not wearing a mask OUTSIDE of the dining area while not wearing a mask herself. Said “it’s my restaurant, I can do what I want.” Childish behavior, should not be a restaurant owner if you do not know how to behave and act your age.

I go to this place all the time because the food is great. However, I just placed my first order online since I was encouraged by the staff to try it out. So I did and I had a special instructions on one order so staff called and had me on speaker phone with 2 different people yelling at me telling me, "if you don't want cancel online." Then hung up on me!! When the special instruction was "No rice add broccoli" - Simple! What is sad is, if they saw who I was, because I pick up from there a lot, they wouldn't have been so rude and said anything like that to my face. I WILL FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO EAT CHINESE AND WILL TELL A LOT OF PEOPLE I KNOW WHO GO THERE MY EXPERIENCE!!

I also noticed I ordered a Diet Coke and received Diet Pepsi with no indication if they were out or not. I'm pissed. This will be my last time coming here. Unless you order combos it seems they'll do their best to not even give you an oz of meat. What a scam.

I had this food last night and WILL NEVER order nor eat their overpriced garbage again!! I cannot even call it food. This place is a scam and is not worth even $1! My family and I paid over $50. I feel so ripped off!! Such a disgusting scam! I ordered the Hawaii Five O and vegetable chow mein. My chow mein didn't even have ANY noodles. It was made incorrectly. After taking a bite, I threw it away. It was a glob of a mess not worthy enough to be considered as food. The Hawaii Five O was disgusting. Not worth 1 cent. The seafood tasted like the smell of spoiled sewerage. I feel so scammed for the amount my family paid for in exchange for the quality of food. If cancel culture has an impact, this place should be on the list. Overly priced for inedible, disgusting food. I ended throwing all the food from this place in the garbage as it was not worthy enough to go in the fridge. This place uses poor quality ingredients but charges higher then it is worth. Please don't order from here. Their food is way too salty, pumped full of MSG's. There is much better elsewhere!!
