Woodside Lodge

We live nearby and watched the renovation of this historic landmark. Shortly after it opened we thought we stop by to check it out and were pleasantly surprised by the pleasant atmosphere and menu selection. We happened to visit on Wednesday, "build your own burger" night and enjoyed a delicious, juicy burger with all the trimmings for half price. We will be going back often.

We have been coming to the Woodside Lodge for years for dinner. We enjoy the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The food is incredible. And the owners of the Woodside and their Staff are so attentive. You feel like you're seeing an old Friend when you come.

The Woodside lodge was a quaint and cozy and provided great atmosphere and great food. The chef has interesting and unique flare with comfort food. The staff were attentive and personable and truly made this a pleasant dining experience.

Lazy Summer evening on the porch with friends.. Wednesday nights are Half-price Burger Night. $5 for a giant burger and fries. You choose what kind of burger. Beef, turkey, salmon, veggie. Everyone at Woodside is friendly and welcoming. Craft beers and wine on tap also available.

They have a ‘Make Your Own Burger’ night on every Wednesday.. I think that’s the proper weekday. (correct me if I’m wrong) I go almost every other week, and enjoy a delicious burger. Really good food here

My boyfriend and I have dubbed this resturant "our place". Stumbled upon it by complete chance and thrilled we stop for dinner. Service was fabulous and the food even better. Have been back several times since and will continue to do so.

Great place for comfort food. A nice environment, very comfortable dining and bar area. You get all this and great prices - I'll be back often!

We had such an awesome visit!! What professional and warm staff! The room was beautiful and the food as amazing as well. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast and will definitely be going back.

When you see this place, you get an idea of what it's like. The atmosphere is quaint country. The food is a mixture of different styles and price ranges. The staff is friendly and the service is wonderful.

Half price burgers on Wednesdays! Although medium well burgers are the only way you can have it cooked, they were still good.

This place is fancy. My girlfriend and her family love the atmosphere. The waiters and waitresses are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Amazing. The food is delicious and only surpassed by wonderful service. We booked a private party and couldn't has asked for better. It was so great, we book our next event there too! The atmosphere is so relaxing, food is great, and waiters are so nice, friendly, happy and exactly what you would want as a waiter. We have also attend their burger night a few times, which has also been great. I would recommend Woodside Lodge to anyone.

1st time there, was burger special night. BIG burger with fries was $5.00, plus a beer or glass of wine was still less than $10.00. Food was great, atmosphere terrific, very nice meal. Couldn't finish it all! Would definitely recommend Woodside to friends. There's outdoor dining and great happy hour specials.

First time here and loved it. I took my son for half price burger night and very happy. I honestly expected a thin burger and I received a big and seasoned burger that I could customize to my liking. The burgers alone we're a third of the price I would pay even at an Applebee's The atmosphere was fantastic as we felt like we were at a mountain Lodge. We will be back again!

We had my dad's 70th Surprise Birthday Party last night at the Woodside Lodge. It was amazing! The owner and all the staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. The food was phenomenal, I highly recommend the Beef Brisket and the Parmesan Crusted Chicken. All of our guest couldn't stop raving about the quality of the food and the quality of the staff. I highly recommend Woodside! Thanks again for making my Dad's Surprise a success!

I was pleasantly surprised with this lodge. We needed a place to stay while visiting family. It's old but redone beautifully. A small, friendly, bar downstairs was perfect for a night cap before turning in. Breakfast in the morning and was very good. All the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.

We were here to take some pictures for Christmas. Gayle was so great to work with. So helpful, and easy to deal with. A wonderful atmosphere with great food and wonderful people. The whole staff were accommodating. I highly recommend the Woodside Lodge for your company dinner or a nice time out with your special someone.

I've been here twice- once for dinner and it was delicious! The second time was for the Easter buffet and I was pretty disappointed. I would definitely go back for a regular meal, but not for a buffet.

Nice atmosphere, good history, great service. The food is very good! They have burger night every Wednesday, $5 with purchase of drink!

Beautiful place. A bit pricey but not terrible. Good staff and poured heavy drinks! We will be back for sure! Maybe even spend the night!

I've been here several times on Wednesday nights (Build your own Burger/half-price burger night). The food is overall excellent! The burgers are tasty and juicy and the beer is cold. Try the fried pickle slices for a special treat!

Food was good, server was nice. We were seated without menus, and didn't get any for quite a while. We were seated at 7, and didn't get our food until after 8. Husband was asked if he wanted another drink (beer), and my drink (water) was not refilled at all.

I couldn't enjoy the food and it ruined Mother's day for me when a server dropped a dishwasher glass rack on my toe when I was standing at the buffet table. I had to put ice on my foot and couldn't walk to the buffet. I was in too much pain. They comped my meal, but then tried to charge us for a two year old until we showed them their website that said two and under are free and we were told that when the reservations were made as well. All in all, not an enjoyable brunch.

I was highly disappointed with the Woodside Lodge. We went there spur-of-the-moment on Father's Day, not knowing the only option offered at that time was a buffet. The selection offered included sausage, bacon, dry scrambled eggs, store-bought muffins and yogurt, fruit salad, and eggs benedict (which is NOT a good option for a buffet). We ate our food, and were presented with the check...to the tune of $65 for two adults and one child. No where was the price of the buffet posted, so we had considerable sticker shock upon receiving the bill. Next time, I'll stay home and make a far better/much more affordable meal.

Very loud.. Terrible acoustics. Wife paid $28 for ribeye that was fatty and chewy. Waiter was pleasant, service was ok. Brisket and desserts were ok. Draft selection was sparse.

One of our fav places to go..BUT lately it's been a comedy of errors...3 times now they messed up our reservations...we came in the fall with group of 11...made reservations week early..needless to say, we left. Our last reservations were lost..then, last nite was a major mess. Had our reservation on wrong nite..I called it in on Thursday nite for Friday...food came very late..one order out of 4 was right...our waiter had it right..he knew immediately when he saw it that kitchen did it wrong...salad missing dressing..second drinks came too late to enjoy with meal....second sangria was not same as first...but what food we got right was good....

The best was the company!!! Friends I haven't seen in way too long! We had the waitress pacing back and forth waiting for us to pay and leave. We sayed longer then most talking over what we have been doing.

Great ambiance, friendly staff. Eggs Benedict was dry, not enough sauce, English muffin was hard to cut thru. Will try again for dinner .

Good breakfast when we went once, and bad dinner. Large quantities of bad food. I'd take Krabby Patties over these cheap ingredients.

Small drinks, apps weren't very good. Snapper special was decent. Brisket and crab cakes were not good.

I want to love this place, but I can't. We have tried several times over the last few years and each time we walk away disappointed. We live in the area and actually had our reception here, but that was 16 years and several owners ago. It's a beautiful place, the remodel they did a few year back is beautiful but, the service has been painfully slow every time we have tried. We keep hoping eventually they will get it all together, maybe twice a year we decide to give it just 1 more try. The food is on the verge of being what you expect from this kind of place, but there is always something not quite right. We have tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner and all the same. At least 1 dish comes out cold, something else is always overcooked, they never come back to refill beverages either(with the exception of coffee). I have no problem paying for quality but I dont feel I get the level of quality the prices and atmosphere dictate. We even tried having our company Christmas party here last Christmas and the only thing that was worthwhile was the decor. Sidenote: today my son used the bathroom and the lights timed out, all for saving some electricity, but it was so dark in there he couldn't see his own hand in front of his face nevertheless the toilet paper or handle to flush, and of course the sensor is outside the stall so he had to fumble around in the dark.

1st time there. Waiter gave no info that there were specials and cocktail menu. So ordered off their very limited dinner menu. Bbq ribs were so tough you couldn't even cut with a steak knife. Mussels were not cooked long enough, were barely warm had to pry shells open and sauce was watery with not much flavor. Dinner came with nice baked potato but served with frozen butter. Corn on cob was raw and no butter. Ordered iced tea arrived with no ice. Overall very disappointing way to spend $50. 00 for a single dinner that I took home to recook ribs People seated behind me also didn't eat their meals and boxed them up. Maybe the sandwich menu would have been a better choice.

We tried breakfast with Santa. I'm sad to report this with such a poor review because the food was excellent. They called to confirm our reservations 3 times and texted me about it. They even told me.if we aren't there they will charge us for 4 adult meals. We made it a point to get there 10 minutes early with our 1 yr old and 4 yr old. We waited 30 minutes to be seated. We were placed in a tiny table elbow to elbow with 2 big tables in the back room. The patrons and staff were running us over and we had to keep moving to let people by. Also, the Santa buffet was on the other side of the building we were put.in overflow seating. No one spoke to us for another 15 minutes after being sat. We had to ask the bus boy for some water and then he essentially became our server as the server only stopped by once after he grabbed her. She wrote down our order and we never saw her again. Our food took another 20 to 30 minutes (we ordered pancakes and biscuits and gravy). Overall, really disappointing. We don't get to go out much and we were really looking forward to this. 😢 We definitely won't be doing this again.

Wow. What a disappointment. The food was pretty good but the service was ridiculously slow. We waited so long for our meal. The waitress was friendly but not very attentive to us. First time I've been to this restaurant and will be my last.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My steak was cold and came out undercooked. Some of the other people I was with also had undercooked and unpresentable food. The desserts were unappetizing, but the food was not the worst part. THE SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE GUEST SERVICE MANAGER WAS TERRIBLE!! Not only did he give us a hard time about wanting to turn on the space heater outside (it was 27 degrees mind you) but when we offered to pay him $20 for a propane tank he threatened to kick us out. This was a holiday work party and he was so mad that he called the boss to have us reprimanded. The boss found nothing wrong with our comment. This manager made a pass at one of the members in our group and put her significant other down. We did not feel comfortable staying, we left.

Place was closed without reservations. How are regular customers that come in during regular Sunday breakfast business hours only supposed to know about a reservation only event. I could understand closing off an area for reservations but not the entire facility ESPECIALY when the place was mostly empty! We felt embarrassed walking out of a place we like when there were so many empty seats. I will no longer come here or recommend this to all my family and friends and I will definetly not be returning. Only an uninformed business person does this considering you need a sizeable amount of new customers coming through the door to stay open in the long run. I can't see this place lasting another few years depending on their investors pockets. Shame on you!

I had to attend an event here. So I was forced to come back. Otherwise I would never step foot in this place. I'm giving it one star because the last time I was there, the service food and management were horrible. I wrote about it on Facebook and instead of addressing it they deleted it..

Restaurant 101... when you make a poor meal, as all restaurants will once in a while, make it right. Especially with your regulars. Tonight woodside inn, a place we’ve frequented, did not make things right and allowed us to leave dissatisfied. Avoid this place.
