This Subway receives mixed reviews. Many customers praise the friendly and efficient staff, especially the young women working there. However, online orders and consistency seem to be major issues, with frequent complaints about incorrect orders and long wait times.

Nice, friendly staff Quick service Manager very nice Food was perfect Pretty clean Good, calm vibes and atmosphere 100% recommend people visit if you enjoy Subway, or want a good first experience
My boyfriend usually goes to go into this one but from what he says they’re super friendly and always handle issues with good manner
So lovely. I am very picky about subs and very socially awkward, but the workers are extremely sweet and helpful. The food is very very good aswell
Staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh. Very nice Subway location. Happy it's close to home.
The worker named Remy was an amazing person, very Nice and hard & quick worker
Very nice employees compared to other subways, will visit this one more frequently now!
Clean establishment,The staff was friendly and courteous. They had attention to detail in what I wanted. Would come here again
I went to get subs for dinner. They made them to order and it was great.
Consistent quality and reliable value, I always know I'll have a good meal.
The Scotia kids here always do a good job making our sandwiches.
The people are very kind and work fast. I had an excellent time!
The subs are good itsvsmells super good when I walk in and it's just a amazing place to eat
They actually take the coupons from the mail. Too many subways refuse them. I've always had a great experience here.
Let us start off by saying, do not go to the 24 hour subway that is located in the same town. Now that we have that out of the way, this is the BEST subway we have ever visited. Centrally located in beautiful downtown Scotia NY, (vape city USA[we saw one vape shop on the way in]) this turn of the century brick building was clad in the enticing vintage subway yellow awning. With exclusive parking in a private lot (picture included) it was a short stroll to the entrance. On our quick but enjoyable walk, we were surrounded by the lustful aroma which penetrated our olfactory senses. The air was pregnant with the scent of high quality bread, cold cuts, and fresh produce. Upon entering this sactuary of sandwiches a multisensory bombardment of magnificent meats, celestial cheeses, pristine produce and blissfull bread encapsulated in a warm and inviting atmosphere whet the appetite for what was to come. The team of beautiful savy sandwich artists greeted us promptly and professionally with smiles and good tidings. Shepherding us with grace and elegance through the voluminous menu options, our journey to lunch paradise had truly commenced. With deft precision the framework of our sandwiches was laid down. As our sandwich artists retrieved the perfectly baked bread from the oven, a choir of angels extolled the fluffy interior delicately contrasted with the crisp crust of the loaf. As the hearty stack of meat was laid down we knew that soon our vicious pangs of hunger would soon cease. After the scrumptious cheese was placed atop the meats, the most esoteric of questions was directed towards us, "do you want this toasted?" We froze, the question spawned a nearly infinite number of possibilities: heaven or hell? Fire or ice? Alpha or omega? Toasted or untoasted? As if the voice of God was speaking through me, the word escaped my lips "toasted" With a level of focus that surpassed a chess grandmaster, we stood transfixed on the oven. Our souls swooned softly as the cheese rose up, bubbled and fell like the tumultuous surface of the sun, leaving us in a state of utter euphoria. Promptly, the second most important question of our lives need to be answered, "what do you want on this?" Panic shot through us like a lightning bolt. The heavens parted, and ethereal beams of light illuminated the visceral vegetation, we spoke, "lettuce and tomato please", politeness is the highest virtue. A shower of of ranch soon followed. The masterpiece was complete, the only remaining step was to experience the glorious deliverance of a smiling god through this ambrosial morsel. Sitting on a chic train station style bench we took a bite. The nanosecond the treat touched our tongues we boarded a chariot destined for the heavens. Upon our arrival to heaven, we saw the universe and the universe saw us. Our taste buds exploded only to reveal new levels of pleasure. Upon regaining consciousness, we were blessed with another bite this one surpassing the first. This cyclical experience can only be equated to the bhuddist model of reincarnation. As we took our last bite, we noticed a new member of our party, the Buddha himself was levitating cross-legged above the cash register. He said nothing but a voice in my head reverberated "welcome my child, to nirvana" We asked him, "Nirvana is a subway in Scotia New York?" The Buddha locked eyes with each of us and all the knowledge of the universe replied, "yes" John 6:35 Matthew 5:6

It was great, walked in and within 3 minutes I left with the perfect spicy Italian footlong. I tipped but forgot to ask the very amiable young lady what her name was because she was great.
The young lady who made my sub not only was very nice but she made me a masterpiece! Thank you!
I could not find an owners name or contact information for this particular Subway, however I must say that the young women who work and run that small subway need to be protected at all costs. They are the sweetest, most kind young women I’ve encountered in this tough job in a very long time. When I had my bistro I prayed for these young people. To the owner, give these four young women a raise, do not lose them and treat them right. They keep your place clean, the service is exceptional and they have true customer service. I’ve even witnessed their empathy and humanity toward a limited member of our community, they show him kindness and respect, they give him a place to rest and be treated humanely and with friendship. I’m not a huge fan of faster type foods, but I will always patronize this shop and primarily for the young women who run the shop.
Great food great service, really pleased with the updates to the location. Today's sandwich was fresh and made to order. There was plenty of space to sit or I had the option to take it with me. I will say the staff today was super friendly and my sandwich artist was able to craft an excellent creation. Thank you again for making my sandwich day.
My girlfriend and I love this Subway. It's so fun walking there and getting some nice food. Also a very convenient place because there's shops around town🙂

My mom works here sometimes, the guys that normally work there are great people and you can easily make conversation, or stay quiet. Very good subway.
Friendly staff, clean environment. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 bc they don't have GF bread available. I know other Subways do.
Veggie sub was a little light in veggies but they were very fresh roll was also fine

Typical franchise sub restaurant. Know what to mostly expect for food and choices. More often than that inventory is not full and they are missing an item or two. Service is friendly, however typical and average currently.
The gentleman who is working tonight, was so pleasant , hard worker and very polite. He is a very good worker and was training another new worker he is doing a great job!!!
Ordered a salad for delivery, which wasn't awful, however I requested pickles and cheddar cheese but got neither, and requested it extra chopped but it wasn't chopped at all. Very disappointing.
Two young ladies were working very fast and doing a great job. But, the shop was majorly under staffed.
Went to pick up an order in which I had to wait for to get.
I live fairly close to this venue and have purchased my share (and my wife's ) of their subs. While those subs are made to your order, the bread and sub rolls are contained in a cabinet. In my opinion MOST of those rolls are not the freshest. I have been to two other shops in the past and have always gotten a fresher roll than at the Mohawk Avenue Subway. Maybe I have just hit them at the same bad times so I will reserve any real bad reviews. I'll keep going but can only give three stars.
I can't gripe on how the sandwich is made when I watch it happen. I often come after work and the door is locked at 9pm. Couple of times the employee was there saying we're closed. Do you close at 9pm or 10pm? I believe the staff is choosing closing time each night.

Google said it was open on Sunday, as did GrubHub. Ordered $32 worth of food and the order got confirmed. Went to the store, it’s closed. New printed sign said closed on Sunday only. So just a heads up, they’re closed on Sunday and haven’t changed that on any online registry. Hopefully I can recoup my money.
Great customer service, however, bread and cookies were stale. It appears that there's an ongoing trend in the fast food industry'... The hell with quality
Sandwich was made very slowly while the employee seemed like he wasn't enjoying his life. No spark no conversation
I will admit the food was good. That’s why the 2 stars. The first time we ran into the issue we ordered online and got sent to another subway only to get called back. They then messed up one of the subs. They did fix without incident. Then today I ordered online again and when my wife stopped to get it she was told it wasn’t ready. She got to sit there for an addition 15 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Then I open my chopped sub to find the only thing cut was the meat and it was only in half. If you have time to waste so they can make you stand around and then mess your order up then this is the place for you.

Past 3 times ive been there they have no ciabatta bread, no mozzarella and no cookies 1 time. How do you not have ingredients. Also had the one guy tell me I had to have a sandwich that was the way the menu shows. Can't pick what ingredients you want
The guy flattened our subs until they were like pancakes. Wiped the knife he used to cut our subs on his pants before using them. We couldnt even eat them. Gross...
All the ingredients are left out, the place smells terrible and the food was awful. Do not recommend to anyone. Staff was polite though
Yesterday visits...your angry girl. Skipping on ingredients and taking forever...not as place for quick food stop
Go at least once a week, last cpl times it seems they don't read the comment section. Always missing something like the marinara sauce or not even heating the meat and cheese if not toasted.
Placed on line order for pick up. Stale roll on the titan and the other sub I ordered was suppose to be toasted, it wasn't and the 2x cheese wasn't even on there, loaded with more dressing than rotisserie chicken.Tomato on one was the end part, green in it. Not worth money even at BOGO.
If you are gonna order from this Subway location, GO IN PERSON! They have gotten so many of our orders completely wrong when I order on DoorDash or Grubhub. It's insane how wrong it is. My friend ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch and they forgot like all three of those main ingredients. If you wanna order online order from Freeman's Bridge. DO BETTER MOHAWK AVE SUBWAY.
Went to get a sub tonight Ft long spicy Italian toaster with provolone with allot of onions little bit lettuce toasted oil and vinegar and a sweet tea. The sweet tea wasn't even made it was water opted for a bottle of starry instead as doing this they gave finished my sandwich no cheese on it at all and omg 4 slices of pepperoni and 3 of salami. Who taught these people how to do this? I worked for subway for along time years ago. And I'll never go to the one in Scotia on mohawk ave again
A mountain of banana peppers and doused with dressing that made the bread soggy. Unbelievable and unacceptable. Inedible

Headed in today to grab a sub for lunch. I was greeted by a disgruntled employee named "danny " Who Clearly seemed upset about their their jobs. If you're gonna be that upset of you're working situation you should jusy stay home You're rudeness & lack of Self respect won't get you far last last time I'll be ordering from this subway.
Ordered via the Subway app for delivery. The footlong cookie, chips and drink that I paid for were not included. When I called the store I was told I can come pick it up or request a refund on the app. There is no where on the app to do this and items missing.
So my sub was made incorrectly so I nicely asked for a new one made with the right ingredients so that wasn’t a problem. But what was is how they handled my girlfriends sub which for starters looked disgusting because they soaked it in the condiments to the point where it was falling apart. When we asked for it to be re made we were told no until we started bringing up the stores policy on how subs should be made. If you’re going to hire sassy teenagers they should at least be trained correctly.
Do not order from this location if you want your food to arrive correctly and on time. The only thing that this location can do consistently is screw up. Of the two or three times I’ve been stuck ordering from them (due to the delivery app I use), every single order has been wrong. The last straw for me was this evening when they handed my delivery driver an order with someone else’s name on it; one that was not at all similar to the order I had placed. Which means they screwed up at least two people’s dinners tonight. There was also an inexplicable 30-minute delay in preparing my food. They’re absolutely incapable of picking up their phone. The delivery apps ought to dump them and corporate should shut them down.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! TOTALLY INCOMPETENT! In person they're good because you can watch what they're putting on your sub. I've ordered from this place on doordash several times. Every time is completely wrong! And not just by a little, by a lot. How can they not read simple instructions?! They've gotten orders for my wife, me and my friend so very wrong on several occasions it's not even funny. Most recently I ordered a sub with a ton of meat on it. What I get is a sub with no meat, and no cheese. Just veggies. They didn't even put the right dressing. It's all written on the receipt what I wanted but I got none of it. Be warned. This is absolutely not the first time this has happened either. You think I would have learned my lesson from these nimrods the first time, but I'm the fool now for ordering from them more than once. I never post reviews, in fact this is my first one, but someone had to call out the employees who cannot read at this subway in scotia.
I ordered online and it took me about 20 minutes to get to subway. I had to wait another 15 minutes for my two simple sandwiches to be finished but when I got there, two people were sitting around not doing anything. The workers were extremely rude and not apologetic for taking a while to make my sandwiches. I ordered online for it to be quick and the subway was not busy at all, there was no one in the parking lot and maybe one person the entire time i waited. Im just frustrated because i was late for what I needed to get to and I also had someone else’s lunch and they weren’t able to eat.
Put in an online order. Walk into an empty subway and don't see my food on the rack. I find the 2 employees chatting and giggling in the back and give them my name. They tell me the were out of the meat for my sub and never bothered to call me. I ask for a refund because at this point I'm just pissed and they tell me it'll take 2 weeks to get my money back. If I could give this place zero stars I would.
1 of 2 local locations that still takes coupons. Unfortunately, professionalism & consistency are NOT employee requirements for the Mohawk Ave. Subway in Scotia. On multiple occasions, I have gone at or shortly after 9:00am (listed opening time), and the door has been locked. Not once has anyone ever answered the phone either.
