Nice little professional UK style pub. Just had a pot of Coopers original ale. Bit strange that they don't have any James boag's on tap but still a nice pub for a drink.

Great British pub in the heart of Launceston; a must for any visitors to the town (and Guiness lovers) Pound-for-pound, very few things beat a British pub and the Cock n bull is an absolute home run. The vibe of this place feels as though it's been ripped right out of the UK and placed in Launceston The food served is traditional, and delicious. The beers (and most importantly, the Guiness) is absolute class too. Combine this with friendly staff and you have a great combination Would recommend it to anyone passing through - top tier!

Enjoyed our meals and the service here on a Wednesday night.. The meals are a great size and the roast pork and crackle was delicious, all other meals on the table were also enjoyed and finished. Very relaxing evening with friends.

Really friendly & helpful staff, cheery locals, especially Dave who was a fountain of knowledge about Tasmania. Great selection of beers, sadly we arrived too late to sample the food.

Lovely old pub with a good dining room upstairs. Our meals came relatively quickly and were well presented. Probably my only gripe would be that the pub doesn’t have FOXTEL.

Fantastic watering hole. Great views, attentive staff, welcoming and kind service. The menu looks interesting also, and we look forward to trying it out. Thankyou for the free Coopers hat. The prices of your mercury draughts are pretty intense by a good few bucks, so for that reason there's a star missing. Look forward to visiting again!

Great pub with friendly and accommodating staff. Lots of vegetarian options on the menu and one of the staff went out of their way to check with the chef if the pastry could be done Vegan. Highly appreciated the chef doing this, excellent food and good vibes.

Was quite busy had to wait an hour for food. Drinks were sublime, food in the end was okay. My pumpkin was cooked oddly though. Didn't taste that good. Due to lateness of our mains we didn't have time for dessert. Atmosphere and warmth was delightful. An experience worth having but food and the food service could be, and should be, improved.

Classic British pub with decent history and good location in Launceston. Very friendly bar staff and service, however, very slow service for a weeknight either very few patrons and food was average - pork roast pretty reasonable but porterhouse steak was average and overcooked.

The minute we walked in the door, all eyes were on us. As an out of towner or a regular, I didn't feel welcome. And the stares didn't stop. Food and drinks were great, but we waited over an hour. I think the meal was ready for a while, as one guy behind the bar sorted of head gestured in our direction to his colleague, who went straight to the kitchen and came back with our food. It was a little on the cold side. Very nice though.

Friendly staff and nice decor. Not a great selection of beers on tap. My guiness pie was nice but I would have preferred it to have been made in a ramekin with fluffy flaking pastry on the top. Chips were good and salad had variety. All in all, a pleasant experience.

What used to be a good place for a really great pub meal. Especially steaks. Now just really needs a good clean, some TLC and good quality food. Because it now has none of these. My piece of leather and glue with brown glop ended up being inedible. Didn’t even get asked why I didn’t eat it, they already knew! The gravy even had a cold thick layer on top when it arrived. Just disgusting. Very disappointing.
