If I could go to Sabine every night I would! I tried there 146 moons and it was delicious. I love all the nonalcoholic options for drinks. Their little gem Caesar salad is absolutely incredible and the halloumi was a delicious app. I highly recommend coming here. I’ve come with large groups and small, they are accommodating, and the service is incredible.

Coming to Sabine for breakfast feels like a holiday, it’s warm & cozy fireplace, friendly staff, a beautiful atmosphere, and to die for coffee. This is our second time here and the food is CONSISTENT. You can feel the love they pour into the food as soon as it comes to your table. I wouldn’t want to go out for breakfast anywhere else. Sabine is an Exceptional Establishment. My personal favorites are the Turkish Eggs, the Valencia coffee, and a butter croissant.

Came here several times because it’s very popular. The interior is very beautiful and spacious. Service was great as well. However, I feel like food is average & pricey. Overall, a good experience due to the location itself and service!

We went on Saturday midday and it was busy but the line moved super fast and got seated right away! I loved our meal- we had the grain bowl and the shakshuka and both were delicious. Service was great and portions were reasonable as well as price. The orange juice was freshly squeezed. Cute spot too. Will definitely come back

Sabine Cafe and bar is our new go to spot for a delicious breakfast in Ballard. Upon arrival there was a pretty good line but it moved quite fast. The ordering process was different than most restaurants, but actually worked perfectly. The interior decor was cozy and inviting. We specifically like the vesta board. Our tables go to dish was the Turkish eggs which were delicious and paired well with extra slices of bacon. To drink we enjoyed our breakfast with the Valencia coffee. Overall, Sabine Cafe and bar provided a fantastic breakfast experience with great food, efficient service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be returning to try more of their menu options.

Excellent food and excellent service. Our waiter, Miles, was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give us great recommendations. He also was able to give us good recommendations about the area and things to do in the area.

Had a great brunch at Sabine Café! The Turkish eggs were absolutely stellar — rich, creamy whipped feta with perfectly cooked eggs and chili oil that packed just the right heat. I tried the lychee matcha, which was light, floral, and surprisingly refreshing — a fun twist on a classic. We finished with an affogato that balanced sweet and bitter beautifully. Cozy vibes, great flavors — will definitely be back

The food is 10/10 divine. I’d come back in a heartbeat. That happy hour pizza is especially delicious.

Easy to find a seat on a weekday morning. Turkish Egg is delicious. Drinks are way too expensive. Paid $8 for a cup of sesame matcha. Staff are super nice.

Solid brunch, good stuff all around , wish the beans were made out of metal :) .. French joke apart , that’s a nice spot to brunch or lunch.

Completely lives up to the hype. Drink selection is wide and delicious. The food selection is wonderful as well. Every meal i’ve had here, in the morning or the night, has been sublime. Outside sitting has some nice warmers too, so it is a perfect spot all year long.

Stopped in for happy hour right after their lunch service. The line was quite long for lunch so we figured we’d try and get in for happy hour. It was perfect. Still busy but no line. The drinks were *chef’s kiss* especially their carrot dill gin which sounds strange but it was so light and refreshing. The service was lovely. Our server just added to the vibes. 10/10 recommend!

What a beautiful charming wonderful Cafe/ bistro melange of concepts that really is many different things. Upon entering you may notice in one direction a gorgeous fully stocked bar which you can choose to sit at with circular seating around an open fire; in the opposite direction are the baristas happily ready to take your order where the in-house scrumptious delectables are available. Straight back you'll notice the in-house Baker's working on their house made decadent creations and behind them is the kitchen. Willy was amazing. He enthusiastically answered my questions about the menu, making informative suggestions one doesn't often get with even full table service. The pride and passion of the staff is evident everywhere. And don't forget about their private event space and bar in the back. Thanks Sabine, you're beautiful!😍

Amazing brunch in Ballard! Everything was fresh and flavorful—perfectly cooked eggs, crispy toast, and the mushroom toast was packed with umami. Loved the sunny vibes and the presentation of each dish. Great place to start your weekend right!❤️😋

Loved the food here. We ordered cream of cauliflower (amazing), avocado toast (very good), shakshuka (decent), Turkish eggs (good), Sevilla (super blend of flavors) and mocha. Good portion size, nice vibe, delicious food, timely service despite the rush, overall a good experience

Wonderful brunch! I ate here for the first time today and really enjoyed everything about the restaurant/Cafe. The service was great, high quality food/pastries and excellent coffee. I’ve been back home in the US for a couple of days now after traveling around Europe and I’ve been missing the great European cafe culture that we all love. I decided to give this place a shot and I was genuinely impressed. Great cappuccino, delicious croissants and breads. Oatmeal pancake was very tasty and not too sweet. The place has a great welcoming atmosphere and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a great brunch in the Ballard area.

The food and drinks here are both incredible and the service was excellent. LOVE their new dinner menu and the different flavors of gin and tonics!! The fried cauliflower and the steak are both a must try. Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing service. Full bar. Sarah is phenomenal. Amazing bartender and was able to adjust drinks based on my taste. Friendly and efficient. Delicious food. I snacked on the whipped feta and the halibut plate recommended by staff. Delicious. Amazing space with indoor and outdoor dining. Cozy seats and also a fire hearth.

We got the Turkish eggs, the Shakshuka, a bloody Mary, and the huckleberry soft selves for desert. It was all amazing great atmosphere, wonder flavor, great staff.

I just had coffee and a cookie, but they were great! I can't speak for the rest of the food because I was only there for a little snack to sit by the fireside. Definitely reminded me of a cafe in France and the cookie turned out to be a unique concoction. Cornbread and brown butter? Damn that was good! The coffee wasn't overly sweet either. And a studly guy 😅 came over and worked his magic on the coffee art for me. Good job!

Best brunch ever !! We went for a Sunday brunch here and it turned out to be absolutely amazing ! We got the Turkish eggs and mushroom toast. They were both amazing. Brunch at sabine along with a stroll at the Ballard farmer’s market = Sunday well spent !

Really great spot for any time of day. Brunch was delicious and there were so many good options. Lunch was also very tasty. Really good drink menu and also good N/A options. The vibe is great, not too loud for how big and full the space is.

Food & coffee INCREDIBLE! The Turkish eggs were to die for and so was the oat pancake. Really easy counter service vibe, super cool atrium and inside area. The cashier was super helpful and lead me to amazing choices.

The food here is absolutely divine. We ordered almost everything on the Happy Hour menu, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza was hands down one of the best I’ve ever had, the perfect balance of spicy and sweet, with flavors that just melt together beautifully. The arayes were seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection, crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside. The salad had the perfect crisp and was very fresh. And the hummus and pita? It genuinely felt like I was standing in the shuk in Israel on a Friday afternoon. Fresh, warm, authentic, and unforgettable. Everything was incredible. I would highly recommend this place and will absolutely be coming back.

Love love love. Amazing food and gracious about gluten sensitivity. The bar is top notch and the ambiance is a delight. Wonderful staff; fun as well as knowledgeable about the food and wines. Will fly in again from California for the gluten free pita which itself is a miracle.

Definitely a great experience if the weather is nice. A few fireplaces, outdoor dining allows dogs. Basically self service, you order ahead in line then find a place yourself. Kinda feel like a coffee shop with lots of food options. Food is alright, a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Also they ran out of pita but they are a Mediterranean place.

Every time I came to Ballard farmers market, there is a line here. So I’m always curious to try. Overall, it was fine but I won’t be coming back… I think you hang out here for a cute breakfast/brunch experience. The food was ok, nothing wrong but very overpriced for what they are. Their pastries are actually not bad. So maybe grab a pastry item and a coffee to hang out with your friend is the way to go here…

Went here for the first time last night. I have had Mediterranean around town and down the coast (my favorite outside of Europe is in San Fran) and this place competes. Limited in regard to dessert, only one option, but EVERYTHING I had for dinner was great (appetizers, halibut main, steak main, lamb meatballs, pita bread… all 🔥)! I’d highly recommend trying and will add this as my go to for this type of food for now. The service was average, not bad but outside of the host at the door this didn’t stand out. The look and feel of the space is also worth recognizing, the vibe was legit.

✅ food and quality ✅ ambiance ❌ service. When I go to a higher end establishment, I don't expect to have to leave my table to go, identify and pick up my drink order by the cashier, and when I'm done eating, clear my own table. I'm sure this business model works great for the business such as increased profits, efficiencies, less people to manage etc. The consequence is a whole different experience for me and I suspect others. Grateful for Sabine's attention to the food and visuals, just wished they focused more on serving their clients. Staff was competent and friendly, food was great, coffee tasty.

Tried out Sabine on our short trip to Seattle from BC. Very beautiful place, lovely vibes. The service was really great! I wish they had more dinner options but the fries tasted very good and the plates were also delicious. I would say for Lamb Meatballs the portion size was a bit small, but everything else was great.

A

The way Sabine works is this, you order at the counter, grab one of their many tables in the gorgeous restaurant and they'll call out your drink order but food will be brought to your table, even with it being packed we easily found a spot to sit. Let;s talk food! Oat Pancake 5/5 my husband LOVED this its has a little apple butter between the pancakes and the hazelnuts go wonderfully with the dish Whipped Feta 5/5 I loved this so much and I even snuck nibbles at home since we ordered so much and it was so YUM! Falafel 2/5 I was disappointed in this, I know falafel is by nature dense and a little dry but this was too much of both, I'm sure it'd be wonderful in a sandwich with other toppings but I do have lots of falafel when i visit family in the Mid-East and its just not quite there Sabine Breakfast Burrito 5/5 Yum Yum YUM, ugh I couldn't put this thing down and it is a monster (for me anyway) it's a great sandwich and ordering it alone is more than plenty of food! So here's the issue with Seattle restaurants, there are so many amazing options that if you ask me would you come back just for Sabine, I'd say probably not but if i was in the area absolutely yes I'd stop in, food is great and the service is friendly quick and efficient

Chill good vibes place! Brunch was delicious except for Hummus lack of flavor , blend! my avocado toast was perfectly seasoned, Turkish breakfast was balanced and tasty, Service was fast and friendly I will go back!

Went here early on a Saturday morning and there was a ~10min wait in the order line before we could be seated. Between our group of 6 friends, we tried the a variety of dishes and everything tasted great. Although the food and ambience stand out as a positive, the potion size is small (even the drinks were shockingly priced at $8 for about 8-10oz of fresh watermelon juice) for the high price you pay. I also found the service a bit disappointing. Firstly, they charged us a $20 cake cutting fee (we were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had carried along a cake with us. This was cleared with the restaurant beforehand via phone so we bought the cake only after checking with them and the fee came as a surprise to us). They asked us to hand over the cake to their staff and ask for it to be brought to the table when it was time to cut the cake. However, they brought the cake to our table while we were in the middle of brunch, so the cake just sat there (unboxed and opened) for a good 30 minutes while we finished eating. That was pretty awkward because we would have loved for it to be more organized for our friend who was the birthday girl. I have to add though that the staff were gracious in bringing us a candle for the cake since we forgot to carry one. So overall, some great things about the place but the dish prices, potions and some elements of service stuck out like a sore thumb.

Stylish cafe with a window for takeouts. Prefect for brunches. It has a huge patio and outdoor dining by the street. The food was pretty good. Nothing tasted off but nothing jumped out either. After all it’s just a brunch place w better deco. Would be really good to have glasses vs plastic cups for water though.

Really tasty brunch place. The shakshuka is 100 times better than portage bay cafe. The turkey eggs are good too. Minor downside is that it’s pretty pricy for the food portion. You wait in line to order, then find seats anywhere. The line maybe long but should move pretty fast.

Great place to have breakfast or brunch. Great ambiance, savory dishes, a bit on the pricey side. Expect a line to order and be seated. Several seating areas, full bar is available.

TLDR; beautiful airy cafe for a relaxed brunch (as long as you’re ok ordering at the counter and busing your own table). Decent food too. Overall the food was quite good. We ordered a round of cappuccinos (not the best) with wild mushroom toast and Turkish eggs. Everything did have a hint of a sour taste, but was still pretty good. I personally thought the mushroom toast was a bit off but my husband loved it - so this could just be a taste preference.

We tried the beet falafel and grilled sumac chicken, accompanied by two gin & tonics. Everything was delicious, but the grilled chicken stood out with its perfectly balanced flavors. The beet falafel had a nice twist, adding a subtle sweetness to the dish. The ambience was lively and inviting, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Sabine is a very popular restaurants in Ballard market zone. It’s Middle East cafe style. We didn’t have any reservations and wait in line about 5-10 minutes. We ordered a Turkish egg, Sabine breakfast sandwich, and roasted eggplant, latte and mimosa. The portion is great, not too large. Turkish egg is delicious. Avocado, eggs and cream cheese are the best for brunch! The sandwich has meat inside and is really good! Roasted eggplant is very special. It’s a bit sweet a bit sour, and served with house pita! Mimosa is okay, but latte is good 👍🏻

Wonderful brunch spot with nice atmosphere and decor. It has a good theme and is warm and inviting. Many cool spots to sit (fireplace wow!) but it’s essentially the sunroom or the main open kitchen room. The menu is unique and very appetizing! It’s not quite health-conscious, but has a natural and wholesome vibe. Some flavors are different than you’d expect but I personally have enjoyed the sampling I’ve done here over the last year of living in Ballard. Portions are not enormous but the food is satisfying and will give you your fill. You could sit down to a nice brunch or hang out with friends and even get work done and zone into your focus. The staff has always treated me well and they keep a balanced mood in the space. I’ll keep coming back and I appreciate this place!

Came in for a quick snack. Didn't really get the full experience but the venue is nice. The layout is nice and bright. There is a lot of outdoor seating. I'd definitely come back. I like the way you're seated. Just a quick moving line and you grab a number and an open seat and then when you're finished eating you bust your own table and on to the next. It's a pretty solid system.

C
Chandan N

Tasty food but a tad priced menu. Great location and good vibes. One plate is not very filling if you are hungry. You may have to order two items from the menu. Portion size is less. Avocado toast is pricey and do not justify $15. Drinks were good. Pet friendly place( from what we saw)

A crowded and bustling cafe designed in old world charm. Though there’s a queue it’s fast moving. You pay at the cashier and then choose your own seat, collect your own drinks, and finally clear your own table. Food is served pretty quickly despite the crowds. I had the Turkish Eggs, Za’atar Potatoes and Cappuccino. The coffee was good, Turkish Eggs was decent though could have been better presented. The winner was actually the humble potato, which was so perfectly cooked, crusty on the outside and soft in the inside. The baked goods look delicious but I didn’t have any this round.

A great spot to grab breakfast, lunch, or a coffee if you are in the Ballard area in Seattle! They are only open until 4pm so make sure to hurry on over. They have great coffees and sandwiches! Food I got a maple sausage sandwich, which happened to be the daily special, and it was so good that I would get it again if it was the special. The brioche bread is lightly toasted and very fluffy. A perfectly runny egg that is picture perfect, with a good amount of arugula. My girlfriend got the turkish eggs were good as well. The egg was not as runny, but the seasoning on it was nice and the guac was a nice spread. The bread was not hard and was great to slop everything else on top of it. She also got a coffee granita, which is like a coffee slushie that had coconut flavoring in it. Personally don't like coconut, but my girlfriend enjoyed it on a sunny day. Atmosphere Very casual and has a nice ambiance throughout the whole restaurant. Tons of natural lighting comes through the windows if you are indoors, and plenty if you are outdoors. Its definitely got a nice feeling for brunch (maybe its the chairs and tables). Pricing Average pricing for breakfast and lunch food. I felt like the food was worth the price and I would come again. Service This place has a lot of self-service. You don't have a server coming around and asking if you want more coffee. Order up front as soon as you enter the restaurant and then you go find your own seating. They bring the food and drinks out to you. Then when you are all done you bus your own table. Other I've come here on a weekday and weekend before and the weekends definitely get PACKED! Come on a weekday to avoid the traffic. I came on a Monday morning at 11:30am and there was plenty of space and the food came out fast.

N

Beautiful restaurant, we sat on the covered patio for lunch and it was not too hot thanks to the ceiling fans. The toasts were excellent, but I don’t recommend the chips, as they were way too salty. A tad pricey for the amount of food you get, I guess that’s just the Ballard premium.

B
Ben Henderson

Great service and atmosphere. We bought the platter of different hummus and things and it came with very little pita bread and we had to buy more and still only got one more slice lol. I think for a $38 plate of hummus you should get as much pita as you need to eat it.

C
Chiara Gallo

The atmosphere was lovely, and the potatoes were good, but overall the experience didn’t justify the price. $7 for 2–3 pickles felt unreasonable, and the eggplant lacked flavor. While I enjoyed the setting, I wouldn’t recommend the place given the high prices and uneven quality.

K
Kaushik Atchuta

The atmosphere of the cafe was great. The cafe has vintage rustic interiors. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. However, the staff didn’t seem friendly. The Coffee was great and so were the croissants but the Avocado Toast and the Egg Sandwich not so much for the price.

L
Lacey T

I went to a wedding reception here. The lamb and chicken were absolutely incredible. Everything was delicious from sauces to sides. We were trying to deconstruct how the potatoes were made since they were so perfectly crispy. My compliments to the chefs! BUT: They ran out of food, and worse, were completely unapologetic about it. I only learned this because I asked them to pack a doggie bag for the newlyweds (something my wedding venue didn't do, so I never got to eat any of the prime rib that I heard was so incredible), and the server replied, "Sure, we can do that, but unfortunately most of the food has been depleted." The deflective phrasing paired with the judgey look on his face was enough to make me not want to come back. I have never been to a private party at a restaurant where you are served a buffet-style sit-down meal, and they run out of food. From what I understand, food/drink minimums are very high, but here you won't even leave full. The smugness of the staff is exceptional. They made me feel guilty for interrupting their very busy work instead of welcome to ask if I needed something. They are excellent servers in a literal sense, unobtrusive, well timed (if not tending toward over-bussing a bit) but they are completely characterless and borderline annoyed at a customer's existence. Perhaps it is cultural here, but I'm not into it. It is a tragedy when spectacular food is overshadowed by awful service. Won't be returning until I max out other options in Ballard. TLDR: Food is exceptional. Servers are good but have garbage attitudes. Don't dine-in, get takeout.

M
Micaela Pavazza

The food was good and the place has a nice atmosphere, but I was surprised by the total charged to my card. My order should have been around $50 (falafel sandwich, breakfast salad, cappuccino, and medium latte), but it ended up being $76 before tip (18%). I didn’t receive a detailed receipt at the moment — I only saw the final charge on my card later. Because of that, I’m not sure what additional fees or taxes were added, and I ended up tipping without knowing whether extra charges were already included. It would be really helpful if the restaurant were more transparent about all costs upfront and provided a clear receipt, so customers know exactly what to expect. With a bit more clarity, the overall experience would be much better.
