Seems very popular in the area, all tables were reserved, but still manage to find seat for us. Excellent coffee, fresh dolce and gelatto. We were also happy with the pizzaria (Pizzaria II Dosso) nextdoor, must see both if you are around Seregno. Very reasonable pricing, friendly people. Both highly recommended.

The venue is divided into three areas: an indoor area, a large veranda, and a small but charming courtyard with a well-kept lawn. We sat outside because the veranda was a bit too noisy and, above all, a bit too crowded with particularly active smokers! The small garden was very welcoming both at sunset and after dark, as it was softly and pleasantly lit. The IPA beer was good. The appetizers that accompanied the aperitif were delicious and in just the right quantity. Good value: the aperitif package costs €7.50 for a drink with appetizers, and is not a mandatory option.

It's definitely the perfect after-work hangout for us colleagues: small, intimate, and perfectly managed by kind and helpful staff... Right now, the aperitifs are good, although rightly a bit limited due to COVID, but definitely recommended for spending some quality time with friends and colleagues!

The soccer match was broadcast on multiple TV screens at such a high volume that it was hard to even converse aloud. It was a shame because the place looked nice, but after a coffee we had to leave.

The location would be TOP if?... they removed the ashtrays from the tables. I sincerely hope that, like in France, they pass a law banning smoking anywhere (I'm a former smoker). Why? Because smokers have NO respect for non-smokers: simple, right? A reflection of what I say are the managers of these establishments who discriminate against me from the start. [Reply to the owner's comment] The problem here, beyond communication, is basic verbal understanding. Point 1. We didn't complain that the kitchen was closed. If you notice, in the original review (which you can verify is identical to the one previously left, which I'm now editing to respond to you) it says "because the kitchen is closed." That's a fact, not a complaint—and it's simply the explanation for why we ordered the appetizers. If you want to read it as a complaint, that's your choice, not our opinion. 2. We didn't complain about the limit itself, which is legitimate; we complained about the fact that IT WAS NOT DISCLOSED BEFORE OR DURING THE ORDER. If they had told us this limit in advance, we would have arranged for our friend (who drinks nothing but water and couldn't meet the minimum quota with a drink) to order more appetizers, so she would meet the minimum quota, and then add the order for the bottle of water. Instead, we were informed of this after the fact, after I had already placed the appetizer order, and therefore she had to place a new order (a drink that was then consumed by her boyfriend). A little of her aforementioned communication would have been enough to prevent such a farce. 3. Where exactly did you read that we wanted free snacks? I repeat, the problem here is understanding. The first thing we suggested to the waitress was to order two bottles of water, IN ADDITION to the appetizers we would have paid for separately, and count those two bottles of water as one €6 drink, my friend's minimum quota. This proposal was rejected. So, since we couldn't order ANYTHING ELSE for our friend to drink, I suggested counting the appetizers as her base order—that is, paying 5 euros for them, to which water would then be added for another 3 euros. This proposal was rejected because the order for the appetizers had been physically placed by me, not my friend. Do the math, and you'll find that she would have gained more than forcing us to order the drink... which is why these seemed like sensible proposals that would satisfy both parties. In summary, we were simply trying to RESPECT your limit, without WASTING money on drinks my friend wouldn't be able to enjoy, but the experience was terrible, and judging by her response to my review, I can confirm that there's simply no way to make yourself understood. Other than rereading the review and paying a little more attention to your customers, I don't know what advice I can give her. We told her that it was fine for us to order two small bottles of water, but no, it's not cumulative—it's not okay for her to order two bottles of water for a total of €6. I politely asked if she could count the shared appetizers as the first order, but that wasn't okay either, because I ordered them (on behalf of everyone...) and not my friend who wanted water. In the end, we were forced to order a non-alcoholic drink. We'll drink the water at home, don't worry... We won't be coming back. P.S. They tried to charge us for the water we didn't buy!
