Ottima caffetteria con dolci all'americana. Ambiente piccolo ma graziosame arredato. Situato in un angolo un po' nascosto di Sesto Calende ma sempre pieno di clienti. Vengono serviti sia dolci che spuntini salati ma la cosa che impressiona di più sono appunto le alte torte in stile USA senza dimenticare i pancake con lo sciroppo d'acero come in Happy day. Quando il tempo lo permette ci si può anche fermare a dei tavolini in ferro smaltato. Il locale si trova in zona pedonale e il parcheggio è sulla strada principale che è molto vicina . Per i disabili c'è qualche problema più che altro perché l'ambiente è spesso colmo di clienti.

Abbiamo scoperto per caso a sesto, questo bellissimo locale. L'atmosfera calda e accogliente. Grandissima varieta' di proposte " dalla colazione, brunch, pranzo e aperitivi. I ragazzi dello staff tutti molto gentili e professionali. Consigliamo caldamente di venire a sesto calende e provare questa esperienza. TOP!! ⁹

Amazing little gem of a place located at Sesto Calende, which is also near the lake. This cozy place is warm and inviting, especially to tourists like us. The menu has an extensive selection of pancakes with different condiments. Food is extremely delicious and well-priced. Thanks for having us and to Alejandro, who looked after us, and his English is amazing! 5 stars vote for me. 🌟

Our favourite place for brunch, coffee and a sweet, and other good things (probably the only place with an original brunch menu). All tasty and freshly made, with friendly and dynamic staff ran by the owner who is also involved in the kitchen and serving customers. On weekends you must reserve a table otherwise you probably won't find one if you show up.

In centro a Sesto Calende, a 2 passi dal lungo Ticino si trova pancake factory. Ambiente tranquillo e accogliente. Servizio molto molto lento. Abbiamo chiamato il giorno prima per l'impasto gluten free, cucina non certificata, ma pancakes veramente buoni. Un po' eccessivo il prezzo. 2 pancakes gluten free e 2 caffè americani: 26.50€

Bello il locale, arredato bene e con tavolini all'esterno. Hanno anche un dehore in riva al lago. Meglio prenotare se si arriva tardi, o si è in tanti. Ottimi i pancake, buono il caffè americano, e davvero buoni i muffin. Il Personale è cortese e cerca di essere veloce, ma la distanza dal locale al lungo lago e negli orari di punta, la tanta clientela, rallentano un pochino. È un bel posto per un brunch, aperitivo o anche colazione normale. I parcheggi sono un problema a Sesto C. A meno che si vada un po lontano dal centro (10 min.) A piedi. Prezzi adeguati al posto ed alle consumazioni.

Il posto è originale e molto carino. Dai tavolini all'esterno si vede il Ticino. Nelle vicinanze ci sono molti parcheggi a pagamento inclusi posti gratuiti per disabili. All'ingresso c'è una pedana per agevolare l'accesso delle carrozzine. I pancake sono fragranti e buonissimi. Per chi preferisce la colazione italiana, non mancano croissant e caffetteria classica. Sono accontentati anche gusti meno ortodossi. Ad esempio il menù texano che unisce ottimi pancake alla salsiccia di maiale. Il personale è molto disponibile e gentile. 4 stelle solo perché i prezzi non sono per niente popolari.

Bel posticino per fare colazione o come abbiamo fatto noi un buon brunch. Serve la prenotazione. Tutto buono ma un po' caro.

Pancake buoni anche se mi sembravano un po crudi, il servizio lo velocizzerei un pochino o seppur bisogna aspettare per la cottura dei pancake approcciare il cliente per informarlo dell attesa e ordinare magari qualcos altro. Abbiamo atteso 20min prima di ordinare. Però lo raccomando per la varietà di dolci e drink per una merenda sostanziosa.

Il Pancake Factory di Sesto Calende è una vera scoperta, un locale che va ben oltre l'idea del semplice bar per diventare una piccola istituzione della zona. La sua particolarità è rara da trovare altrove: i pancake sono di produzione propria, preparati artigianalmente in molte varianti che soddisfano ogni palato. L'interno è una vera chicca: arredato come una boutique degli anni '20 o '30, trasmette un'atmosfera ricercata e a tratti romantica, perfetta per un momento speciale. Tuttavia, proprio le dimensioni ridotte del locale rendono difficile trovare posto a sedere e l'attesa è praticamente la norma; bisogna però dire che la qualità dei prodotti è tale da far valere ogni minuto passato ad aspettare. Il servizio è buono e attento, anche se i prezzi si posizionano su una fascia un po' alta. Non è forse il posto per la colazione veloce di tutti i giorni, ma per un'occasione particolare o per concedersi un'esperienza di alta qualità, ne vale assolutamente la pena.

nice spot, good service and variety of snacks. Didn’t actually like the pancakes that much, very standard dry-ish variety - but the cakes were good. A word of caution: they actually have filter coffee there, so when saying “Americano” - make sure the waiter understands you mean the espresso-based drink. Or be doomed to drink the abhorrent brew they call coffee in US.

Non disponibile menu cartaceo, bisogna lasciare i propri dati per accedere al wifi e al menù digitale. Camerieri gentili e cibo generalmente buono, ma troppo costoso (un piatto con 2 pancakes dolci possono costare fino a 9€, quelli salati anche di più). Abbiamo fatto merenda dolce, siamo stati soddisfatti dei pancake, meno della torta e del tè. In particolare i tè sono in bustina e vengono serviti direttamente in acqua calda, senza che venga detto il tempo suggerito di infusione. Il locale è in pieno centro, trovare parcheggio nei paraggi è molto difficile, soprattutto se non a pagamento, ma ovviamente questo non è imputabile al locale. L'ambiente è ben arredato, con dettagli richiamanti l'autunno (stagione in cui ho visitato il locale), dispone sia di uno spazio interno che di un dehor esterno a pianterreno, quindi entrambi accessibili in sedia a rotelle.

Very nice location on the river bank. Inside it's all mid-2000-provence style. That's ok I mean. What's not so ok is the food. It's plain, uncomfortable and not tasty. Unfortunately. After that we had not enough inspiration to try the desserts.

A very overpriced restaurant. The taste was good but compared to the quiet expensive price we’ve expected way much more. We took one brunch menu. Although bread is not included as written in the menu. For this price they could give some. They only gave a small amount of sirup too. The coffee was not good. We had to ask for milk. After the milk we had to ask for sugar. After we had to ask for pepper and salt. After we had to ask for the orange juice they’ve forgot to give. We took a specialty of the restaurant which are 3 fluffy pancakes. They were good but again like the sirup there was not enough chocolate sauce. For that price just give more sauce!!! I took a salmon bagel. Taste was good but it was literally one bagel. No small salad next to it. There is a lot of potential in the restaurant if they become cheaper or give more extras on the plate. Especially if you serve a brunch menu, you eat from breakfast and lunch.

The owner whos mother took a quantum leap from sunny San Francisco to Italy, proposes the classic US bakery classics with totally European flavor ( starting from the minimum required sugar). To try the savory waffles served with your favorite cocktail during the happy hour.

Was informed when I arrived that all the tables were booked. I ordered takeaway pancakes and a capuccino. In the 30 minutes I stood waiting for my pancakes, several couples and small groups arrived. Several were asked if they had booked, said no, but were ushered to tables anyway. Maybe you can't get a table here if you are a single English guy! After 30 minutes of waiting, I questioned the server as to the whereabouts of my pancakes. He went into the kitchen, after having obviously forgotten to place the order. 2 minutes later I had pancakes. Food - Good. Service - Awful. Will not return.

NOT GOLD EVERYTHING THAT SHINES I have been with my family on early Saturday morning. They normally open at 09:00 and I was there at 09:21. The waitress did not really take care of us in a “professional way…” since I had to call her to place my order… I ordered 3 drinks that arrived in the normal average time, very well done and decorated by the person at the drinks! Very professional. Something that shock me was that since we were there when they opened is that we had to wait 57 minutes for 3 small pancakes… (counting that the drinks were given very fast to us but the food around 50 minutes later, I think is a strategy for them to let you order more drinks… cringe) unacceptable since their factory was almost empty. Their food was anyways good and at the normal standards that they do have. 4.5/5!!! At the moment of paying I pointed out the fact that we had to wait an entire hour with a 16 months year old for our food and still we got only a “sorry.” But not discount or any other apologize or valuable reason. FACTS: - Pancake factory is still a great choice where to have breakfast - Prices for a stranger of Germany like me are more than ok. - Service should be improved or at least add some service or add a person for the weekend in the kitchen. - great shoutout for the dude at the drinks, he knows what he does but still as the first manager should at least offer a discount or a solution for the extreme late delivery of the food.

Beautiful location, but unfortunately a very poor service experience. We were initially bypassed by the waitress and spent around 10 minutes trying to get attention, before having to go to the counter ourselves. The owner eventually took our order after roughly 30 minutes. During this time, the table was never cleared and we were left sitting with dirty dishes from previous customers. After placing the order, we waited a further 30 minutes while customers who arrived after us were served first. Despite asking again and being told it wouldn’t be much longer, we eventually had to leave due to another appointment, without ever receiving our drinks. Very disappointing and a real waste of time.
