The venue is located in a charming, historic building. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, perfect for an evening with friends. The staff is friendly. The star of the evening is, of course, the chicken. It's well-cooked and succulent, followed by a good craft beer. Reservations are recommended. During the second session, starting at 10:00 PM, you can also dance and sing along with a DJ who will get you involved in dancing and karaoke. Prices are reasonable.

Food could be improved but not bad... punctual service and a slightly cramped atmosphere considering it turns into a disco pub... it's a shame it wasn't a little bigger and slightly cheaper or of a better quality.

Befed is back. First time since reopening in Settimo. Excellent cockerel, well-cooked and well-spiced, some fries not quite cooked properly, Befed sauce always delicious. Excellent beer. The place is still the same, early Friday evenings, quiet, but I know it changes later. A welcome return for the city and a meeting point for many young people from Settimo and beyond who have few alternatives in town. I hope the managers are good enough to keep the place always "clean" of bad crowds for the common good. We'll definitely be back!

Review: The atmosphere at this place is always wonderful: music, fun, and that atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. Unfortunately, however, my last experience left me with some doubts about the quality. The chicken, which once arrived nice and crispy and hot, this time seemed merely reheated: lukewarm and not at all crispy. Even the burgers looked as if they had been freshly defrosted, with water seeping out of the meat, and they were served cold, like the accompanying buns. I hope they're neglecting the quality that has always distinguished this place, because that would be a real shame. I hope I'm wrong, because the atmosphere remains top-notch and deserves to return to its usual level of excellence.

I've been to BEFeD before. Chicken was good. But... This time. I canceled the reservation. I don't like it on a Saturday night with seven people, because I'm going for dinner and a night out. Instead, they tell me I can eat at 8 PM but have to vacate the table at 10 PM. Obviously, everyone manages their own place as they wish. I won't comment, I'll leave it up to the reader to decide.

We returned to this pub after many visits, but unfortunately it's no longer the BEFED it once was. There used to be more entertainment, more involvement, a lively atmosphere. Now the music starts late and is merely background music, without really creating a sense of ambiance. During the evening, the place was very cold. When asked for an explanation, the management said the sound system was broken, but without providing any solutions, alternatives, or clear directions. The result was that many people dined in down jackets and down jackets, which is definitely not pleasant for a restaurant/pub. It's a shame, because the place used to have its own identity. Today, it seems to have lost focus on both atmosphere and customer comfort.

The problem is the new management: terrible. Wait times are unprecedented, even with moderate attendance. The unused section of the restaurant has been left with chairs on the tables: unsightly. If you don't want tables in a certain area to be occupied, you put up a reserved sign or close off access to that part of the restaurant with the usual red cordon. They lack the basic knowledge of the proper conditions of a restaurant. It's sad to see a restaurant, now historic and once very successful, in this condition.

The chicken was good, but the welcome was nonexistent. The first thing we were told was that we had to leave the table by 9:15 PM (which was already stated in the reservation and confirmation). The problem wasn't the shift system, but rather the fact that we were told this three times (twice by phone and email, and once at the table—that's fine, of course—but with this kind of attitude, you're putting off the desire). The place was freezing, with a cold draft under the tables. There might be some broken windows, but a little heating would be appreciated. I'd been to this place a while ago, where there was a play area, and when I made my reservation, I asked for a table nearby. Now, I understand you removed it to have more tables, but would it have been kind to mention it when I was booking? You need to work on your customer service.

Locale pessimo! Servizio a dir poco pietoso… Siamo arrivati alle ore 21.30, abbiamo mangiato alle ore 23 e le bevande dopo diverse sollecitazioni sono state servite alle 23.52. Niente posate, insalate, verdure e le pietanze vanno mangiate con le mani come gli zulù, anche se gliele chiedi. Pitto freddi, senza sale e con 4 patatine in croce. Cocktail annacquati. Tutto indecente!! Personale incompetente, locale lurido, bagni pieni di urina sul pavimento. Non ho mai visto uno schifo del genere in vita mia. Da non tornarci mai più. Chiamata ai Nas garanita, si rischia di prendersi le malattie in quel postaccio. Se pensate di andare lì per divertirvi, vi sbagliate… vi ritroverete in una sorta di bocciofila mal gestita. Un incubo dentro l’incubo. Vi prego di non farvi rubare i soldi da questa gente, senza professionalità e completamente priva di qualità e simpatia. SPERO LI FACCIANO CHIUDERE. Avete rovinato la serata alla festeggiata. VERGOGNA!!!

Il luogo è carino e la situazione anche, ma il servizio è pessimo. La cassiera è inadeguata e incompetente a livelli estremi e provano sempre a fregarti sul conto. Code che sono un incubo e non si capisce mai niente. Potessi al servizio darei zero. Prezzi alti.

*Review: Birthday dinner at BEFED in Settimo - 1/5 stars 😒* We went for a birthday dinner at this place, where I'd never been before, and the experience was a total disaster. Terrible service. The waiters forgot about us for an hour, leaving us in a secluded room with music blaring. Despite our requests to turn it down, they did nothing. Unacceptable wait times. We were forced to fetch menus, napkins, and silverware ourselves. To make matters worse, the owner came to our table and made a joke along the lines of "We forgot about you, huh?" A phrase that, after all the disorganization and excessive wait, seemed decidedly out of place. We had to wait about an hour to order and another 45 minutes for our first courses. The bill was handled poorly. Since we had to leave before the rest of the guests, we asked the owner, who was at the cash register at the time, to kindly let us pay our share. She wasn't able to split the bill and didn't have time to check the tables. In short, the experience at BEFED was beyond negative. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. If you want a quiet, pleasant dinner, go elsewhere. 🙅‍♂️

A friend of mine and I decided to celebrate our birthday at this place. After booking for the 9:45 PM sitting, we were all seated at 9:50 PM. We were seated in the back right section of the room. This is where the first problems began: first, we sat at the table for several minutes without a single menu, having been repeatedly asked for it. So, once again, I decided to get up and ask at the counter. They handed me the menus and told me to distribute them to the tables. After 50 minutes, no one had taken our orders. Our drinks were brought and left at the table; again, we had to do the distribution ourselves. The first course arrived at 11:20 PM, and by 11:40 PM, we all had food and drinks (1 hour and 40 minutes after sitting down). Yet another problem occurred when we ordered cakes at the table; we waited 40-50 minutes, repeatedly asking. We were also told we'd have to cut it ourselves, and were once again given plates and cutlery to distribute ourselves (again, they'd forgotten about them and we had to ask them). It was already 1 a.m. The final straw came when we had to pay. My friend and I went to the cashier to complain about the issues we'd encountered, after being left a receipt for 545 euros at the table. The owner's incredulous expression and her response, "I think everything went well," made me nervous. We asked for at least the service charge to be removed (which we essentially paid). After several denials and nonsensical justifications on her part, we were granted the discount. Not without being "reprimanded" for my behavior and, a second later, subtly asked to leave a positive review (for the discount granted, 30 euros on 545). But since there's no end to the worst, when my guests and I headed for the exit, the owner at the register arrogantly greeted me, shouting "Bye, idiot, bye!" three times, which we all heard. As a superior person, I didn't go back to respond. As advised by the owner, I'm preparing to leave this review on the restaurant's page, but to warn anyone against setting foot there in the future! I feel deeply mocked by everything that happened!

Terrible experience, never again. I gave the service one star because zero is impossible. The waitresses were rude and disorganized, especially the girl who took our order, Morgana. She was really rude to our table of 40. It was so cold in the restaurant that we had to wear jackets to eat. When it came time to get the bill, it was a complete disaster because she made a huge mess. In short, they'll never see us again.

The chicken is always excellent. The one who ruined a birthday party was the waitress Morgana. She was too young and inexperienced, extremely rude, and incompetent with drinks and cashiering. Despite her obvious mistakes, she was threatening and arrogant. It's a shame, it was a nice place. We won't be returning.
