Deliciosos, a punto, excelente sazón.
Repetiria y recomiendo a 100%
If I'd read the reviews I would not have eaten here, but it just so happened that there was an available table right out front and I was famished. Service wasn't overly friendly but there was no slamming of plates or hostility like other reviews. As for the food, it was phenomenal! I got the stewed Iberian pork jowls, Iberian ham, goat cheese with jam, and olives. And wine, of course. So happy I oops-ed into this place.
We came on a very busy Saturday evening. The location is great! The service was super fast and the two young waiters were excellent: patient, attentive and really committed to helping us try everything. I highly recommend it! 🍷
We sat here 2 times and we really liked the place. The food and drinks were good and the servers are friendly. The atmosphere is great. Also the service is fast.
Location is amazing and as the external seating was full we got a table for 2 just inside the open doors. The restaurant was very busy and we enjoyed the atmosphere and 'people watching' and as we didn't want to be rushed it made for a lovely evening meal. Service was friendly and they joked at the number of tapas portions we ordered but we ate everything and went on to have a dessert and a coffee. Food was very tasty and clearly freshly cooked and was a fabulous tapas selection. In the time we sat there enjoying our food and the atmosphere we were humbled by how hard the staff work delivering meal after meal constantly throughout the evening with no respite. We take our hats off to them. We definitely be back and aiming to eat there again tonight.
Ate here twice last week and can easily say this was some of the nicest tapas we tried whilst in Seville! The stewed bulls tail was cooked perfectly and all the food tasted amazing. I recommend the croquettes, tortilla, bulls tail, shrimp omelette. Service was brilliant and all staff were friendly! Clean restaurant with lovely interior decoration giving an authentic feel. Will be returning on my next visit to Seville!
We visited from Boston to Seville and have a “late” lunch here. I ordered ox tail, my wife ordered squid with rice, my son ordered 3 tapas, all are delicious. The drinks come nicely too with me having a glass of red, and my two sons getting their soft drinks with rock ice and lemon. The servers are friendly and quick. We are having a great time. There are a lot of bulls head along the wall - not sure are they real? It definitely looks so. We visited the “bull fighting “ stadium” too.
I was a bit dubious eating here I have to say due to the reviews and I got some experiences of why that is. Despite that the food was really tasty I had menu of the day Paella and pork. While the pork was a bit dry the Paella was fantastic. I also finished the day off with a lovely chocolate cake The negatives were the service was slow and there was the odd slamming down of plates in the table which is a bit unnecessary. However the price was really good and the food matched that value of that.
The sangría was weak and made with canned fruit cocktail instead of fresh fruit. We ordered the Iberian tenderloin tapas; although the meat was juicy, it lacked seasoning and flavor. The service was indifferent and lacked warmth. Overall, would not recommend.
This restaurant is located on a street near other restaurants with both indoor and outdoor dining options. They had a special listed outside showing a starter, main dish, and dessert for 17.50. The food wasn't anything special and tasted quite bland. The dessert options were only melon or coffee. Service was ok but we needed to get the servers attention as he was focused on the outside area more. While it was a fair dining experience, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to others.
Managed to get a seat on a busy Tuesday night. Had the Oxtail, paella, spinach and croquettes, along with strong sangria and aperol spritz. The Oxtail was fantastic, while the spinach and croquettes weren't the best tapas in Seville. Service was ok, but service anywhere in Seville hasn't blown us away to be honest. Overall a perfectly fine tapas restaurant in a tourist area for good value.
I came for lunch. Ordered the fried calamarie, Iberia ham, chicken skewer and croquettes. One server had bad attitude and gave me dirty looks as I was ordered. Also ended up with a steak and larger order of calamari than ordered. Mediocre food.
This Tapas Bar was crowded for the lunch hour when my husband and I looked inside. We found a table for 2. Immediately after we sat down -- even before ordering drinks—2 Paella Tapa portions were placed in front of us. I told the server they were not ours, and it turned out they belonged to the table behind us. We placed our orders, and our server did not write anything down, consequently she got the order wrong. (I ordered in Spanish, so it’s not lost in translation because Spanish is my 1st language.) I ordered 1 Paella Tapa, and she brought 2 steaming hot plates of Paella Tapa portions. I told her it was ok, we’ll keep it, but we had no cutlery. I had to get up and ask for that, delivery of which took a few minutes as the rice cooled. The seafood in the paella was surprisingly generous, a redeeming factor for the poor service. I had also ordered the half portion of fried squid (Chocos) and it was very salty, but fresh and flavorful. Our chicken skewer tapa never arrived but what was received instead was a grilled breast of chicken, and it was tasty. A Tortilla Espanola was placed in front of us. When I protested that I did not order it, she took it to the table behind us. At this point I told her to forget our Croquette Tapa order, and it seemed she was hearing that item for the first time. Lower your expectations, in other words, be surprised if what you order is placed in front of you. The service is a 1. The food is a 4. I guess they don’t have to try very hard due to having a tourist clientele that will not be repeat dining customers.
Extremely uninspired and bland food, coupled with downright rude service. We had the paella, which was unseasoned and cold. The pincho de pollo was well cooked but unseasoned, had no flavours, and I cannot recommend it. The patatas bravas were good but covering them in mayo and a very sour sauce didn’t help. The two positives were the salmorejo, and the price. However, the service was terrible; curt, rude and impatient to the point that I felt like I had to tell him to wait numerous times just to get my order through and keep him from hurrying away. I don’t know if that’s because we were not European and were brown, since the German ladies who sat after us received a much warmer service from the same waiter.
Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The food was mediocre overall. What was served as paella was not paella at all—just boiled rice with a few ingredients mixed in. The tapas were also underwhelming. Service was poor. We repeatedly had to ask for basic items like spoons, plates, and proper cutlery, and even then service felt disorganized and careless. The outdoor seating was fine and the ambiance was acceptable, but that was the only positive. The restrooms were extremely dirty, which was especially concerning in a restaurant where food is prepared and served. Given the many much better dining options nearby in Seville, I would strongly recommend skipping this place.
