I love the steak, it was so delicious
Great experience here. We had reserved the private room for a club meeting. Everything was great. Our food was hot and delicious. Service was prompt. Management made sure we were accommodated and pleased with our evening. Will definitely be back, thank you!
The price is a little steep. It is well worth it . The girls are smiley & flirtatious. They are also pretty. Live atmosphere. Hooters eat your heart out. Constant hot bread. Sports on tv. Clean dinning room . Party room separated by glass. Good side orders. Thank you.
Update August 31: my side dish was comprised of the big baked potato. I could not believe how wonderful this potato was. The flavor was incredible and the butter I added, made it even better. I finished the potato, but did not finish my ribs it was that good. I’ve had the perfect cherry, the perfect strawberry and the perfect pineapple. Now I’ve had the perfect baked potato. Honestly, it is worth the trip for the potato alone. Update: Today’s choice was a brisket plate, the moist marbled type. It was moist and loaded with fat! Not just the marbling but around the perimeter. It tasted like fat and had a fatty texture. I won’t order “brisket-fat” again. The man who cut the meat must have had a bad day. He scowled at us! He cut some slices of my brisket and put it on a plate. Then before handing it to me he removed one piece of meat. What’s that all about? The last time I reviewed this restaurant I mentioned two negative comments. I also wrote to their home office with the same comments. They have made changes for the better and it clearly shows. Last nights visit for ribs was amazing. I had a small problem with the plate of food and told the manager. He immediately replaced it with the finest plate of barbecue I have ever had. Above all, the service was incredible. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They went beyond my expectations. They served up some of the best ribs I have ever had. Highly recommended. The food at Spring Creek is phenomenal. That’s about the best word to describe it. It can rival the most famous barbecue pit in the state of Texas and win a contest. But when you add the loyalty program onto the equation, I find that I’m saving between 30 and 35% of my overall barbecue spend. How can you beat 35% savings and exceptional barbecue at the same time?
Went with a party of 7. Food was delicious, especially the drumsticks and rolls. The baked potato was the size of a dinner plate. Place was clean and service was great. They must have offered the most scrumptious dinner rolls at least 8 times to us. Everyone was pleased.
I just happened to be in the area and I remembered I received an email for BOGO so I decided to stop by. I sat in the parking lot and ordered from the app. It was quite easy but me being me took a while to decide on what to order. I finally decided on the three meats because I wanted to try the different meat. Because I already knew that the ribs are to die for 😋. Once I was done ordering it didn't take long for my order to be ready. When I walked in the restaurant had a peaceful aura and each of the servers greeted me with such a warm welcome and made sure I was well satisfied and had everything I needed. As I departed from the restaurant All the servers wished me a fond adieu. I felt appreciated. When I'm in the area again I think if time permits I will dine in next time. Thank you.
Very impressed! My coworker & I could not decide where to eat for lunch until we spotted that red sign off the feeder. We walked in & she was immediately impressed with the layout. The service was awesome & the food was delicious. The ribs were so juicy & tender, something I haven't experienced from the restaurant that starts with a 'P'. They also walk around and hand out fresh warm bread which was totally unexpected. This was a very enjoyable lunch and we WILL be returning. Hats off to the management!
Just wasn’t my type of bbq. I liked the green beans, brisket, sausage. Didn’t care for their chicken or turkey. St. Louis ribs were okay. Doesn’t seem like they use a real smoker.
This is our go-to place after Church on Sundays! They serve mouth watering BBQ and a host of side dishes. Lots of tables, nice cheerful atmosphere great for kids, and the young waitresses are constantly walking around offering free bread and ice cream. You will not be disappointed! Portions are generous enough that we eat half, and take the other half home for dinner!
Went for lunch with hubby and we absolutely loved it! The brisket was delicious, so were the sides. A generous amount of potato salad and coleslaw, both not over salted, tasted great. I loved the buns! I rarely eat bread in restaurants bc it’s usually too salty, sweet, and rich. These buns were perfect. Great service. Overall, a great value for the money.
This place is a clean and looks germ free. I wanted my food to go. It was ready in less than 4 minutes. The waitress was great. My order was correct. They made me feel like I family. Very polite very respectful and they wanted my business. They treated me like they wanted me to come back everyday I gave this company 5 stars. I would have gave the 10 stars but they only Have 5 for me to choose from.⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟. Keep doing what you are doing and your business will be great. 😁😁😁😁😁
My wife and I went there tonight 10 minutes before they closed tonight. It was the best bbq brisket sandwich we have ever had... It's the one that sits in front of Home Depot. The people there were so nice. I'm sitting here wishing I had gotten 1 sandwich to bring home. Dang it was delicious guys. Thank you so much. The coconut pie was delicious too.😁 2/24/2023 We will be back.♥️ Update: Went by there today 3/31/23 was disappointed in the brisket. We ordered 2 lbs Lean and when I got home it was not lean. 🤨 It was full of fat. The sausage was great. The beans were blah. No flavor. Potato Salad was good but too sweet. Rolls were great. Was let down with the brisket. 24 bucks a lb it should have been much leaner. I ordered it lean as well. I will definitely check it next time.
My wife picked up a dinner plate for me to go. Recently, I have been disappointed in our area BBQ joints. Spring Creek BBQ was a very refreshing real Texas BBQ dinner. Meal included Brisket, sausage and smoked turkey, baked potato and cole slaw. All were excellently prepared. Meat portions were a little light for my taste but still very good. I have rarely given five stars to any eatery but this was really great genuine Texas BBQ. My sincere compliments
Food is excellent. You walk in, and it's cafeteria style. You tell them what you want, they plate it and hand it to you. But don't let that fool you. The food is top notch. All of the meats are well seasoned and cooked, and the sauce is the perfect amount of sweet without being overpowering, and really goes well with the food. And I have yet to find a side I don't like, though I do recommend the Mac and cheese and either the green beans or baked beans. The bread is delicious, and a server walks around with a basket of it so you never run out. And then, if you have room, the dessert is to die for, and compliments the meal perfectly. Highly recommend you check this place out for some really good Texas style BBQ. And don't pay attention to some of the negative reviews. It's obvious the Karens are just being whiny.
Love their BBQ, little expensive but with rewards and specials they are worth it, just wish they brought back unlimited veggies / sides! Took away during Covid bs and never brought it back!
I'm not going to ding you for it but Shenandoah needs to step up the game over at the roll/cobbler counter. The "roll girl" was offended by my nephew asking for a roll before she brought them around, but he was waiting for at least 10 minutes before he asked, and instead of giving him a roll, she told him she would bring it to the table. It was like 10 ft to our table and she took more than 5 minutes before she walked over with them. He was nearly done with his dinner by then. Then, there was zero, none, nada cobbler at all. Both cobbler trays were empty at dinner time. The restaurant was not busy at all. The food was great as always.
I enjoyed the food and service. Soon as I walked into the restaurant it smelled like a backyard BBQ. I enjoyed the slection of meat. I highly recommend the restaurant.
First time here and definitely not my last! Wonderful brisket, sauce, and sides. The rolls are even better than Roadhouse!
Smoky delicious meat! Get the black pepper sausage over the regular one, thank me later! Ribs and sausages are killer. Don't forget to grab the sauce after the sides selection. It will bring your brisket to another level. Loaded of freshly baked bread with homemade butter delivered to your own table. Great service and friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended! I wish I could have more pictures but we were too busy enjoying our BBQ. I would definitely come back with some more friends and families.
Our reunion planning committee has used Spring Creek BBQ a number of times. They have always been every accommodating. Their employees are great. The BBQ, food, and service are great too, that's why we keep coming back!
Currently eating at this time. Food is outstanding. Got the chopped baker plate. Loaded beyond belief. Corn and Mac and cheese. Wife got the same with Cole slaw and green beans. Waitstaff is beyond great. Attentive and polite. Atmosphere is what you look for in a barbecue restaurant. Rustic and comfortable. Thanks for the awesome experience. The young lady baking the rolls and offering rolls, Jolene is a delight. Outstanding employee. Deserves major accolades
I got the baby back ribs and omg they are amazing. Meat fell off the bone. The taste is delicious. The girl that was baking the dessert and rolls brought rolls around asking if we wanted more. The staff came out and made sure everything was great. The sweet tea is the best I have ever tasted. There is a young man there that was super nice and deserves a raise. I didn’t get his name but he has glasses and dark curly hair. Best place to have bbq.
Spring Creek BBQ was the perfect spot for our recent business meeting. The food was absolutely delicious—tender BBQ, tasty sides, and their famous bread rolls, which they kindly brought out for us. The atmosphere was just right, making it easy to focus on our discussions while still enjoying the experience. Their hospitality truly stood out, and the ice cream was a delightful bonus to top off our meal. If you're looking for a place to get good BBQ...then stop Here!
This is the second Spring Creek. I have been too and it was very good as well. I picked up an order of St. Louis style ribs and Brisket with a double order of coleslaw. With me being on Keto I didn't really need the rolls, but I couldn't help myself and had a bite. That was a mistake because they were so good!!!! Turned it into a cheat day. Nice service at the To-go counter. Hope to visit again.
I was in the area for a business trip and came into this restaurant to place a to go order. The young blonde girl, whose name I didn't catch, greeted me at the register with a smile. She gave great service and even offered me a drink while I waited.
Dropped into this place while passing through for work, and it's a gem. Not only was the brisket and chick so tender and juicy and full of flavor... To top it off, their staff was just so pleasant, nice and focused on customer service. This place a 5 stars all day. Highly recommend!
Loved the options and the price per portions. Restaurant was a little dirty but it seems they had just had a rush crowd. Food was delicious, unsure of what they do to their bbq sauce but some of the best sauce I've had. They make fresh rolls too! Hot and fluffy! They have a whole basket you can get more fresh rolls from. Definitely recommend.
Highly recommend! Very good food! Great friendly service! Kid friendly. Safe free parking. They bring "free" "unlimited" excellent dinner rolls to your table!
I recently had a commercial real estate meeting at Spring Creek Barbeque, and it was the perfect spot. The environment is clean, relaxed, and welcoming - ideal for both casual and business conversations. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and the service ran smoothly even during the lunch rush. The food, of course, was excellent - the brisket was tender and flavorful, and the hot rolls were a hit with everyone at the table. It made for a comfortable, productive meeting with a true taste of Texas hospitality. If you're looking for a place to meet clients or partners over a good meal, I definitely recommend Spring Creek Barbeque.
Friendly staff! Great food! Best Bbq in a long while!
Love this place. Super nice employees. Fast service. Great food.
Delicious BBQ. I have celiac and need gluten free options. Servers have been wonderful with details about options. The brisket, baked potato, potato salad, coleslaw and vanilla ice cream are just a few of the gluten-free options. As always, inform server if you are celiac and need gluten-free.
I am months late to this review. Miranda and her manager Xavier were amazing. My friend and I were there for a study group and didn’t know we had to pay for our own food. Miranda and Xavier we so nice to refund us our food! Thank you so much!
We LOVE this place. Got them for our wedding reception back in 2016. We live further north now, but stop in for to go in our way home. Then eat it for days. So yummy!!!!
Okay im at Spring Creek BBQ off I-45 and i tell you the experience is amazing. Not only is the food good. I had the lunchtime rib plate with ribs, beans, and corn on cob. Food delicious but they got this cute lady serving hot rolls! The rolls are delicious and the personal touch of delivering hot rolls to the table seals the deal!!! I recommend this spot if your hungry and want to be treated right! Enjoy Oh yeah when i made it to the of the line to pay...my cup already had ice and awaited me to fill it up with my favorite drink choice...Service, capital "S"
This is a nice place to get a BBQ lunch special, it includes 1 meat and 2 sides with a roll for under $17, drink additional. We had the turkey and the brisket and both were moist and flavorful. The sides of pinto beans and Mac n cheese had very little flavor. Mac n cheese actually tasted like water so I added bbq to it. The pinto beans were kinda plain so I added a packet of Splenda to it. The rolls are made in house and heavy. They have butter for the rolls but honey butter would be amazing with these yeasty rolls. They offer peach/apple cobbler with ice cream or you can get just ice cream. The service was fast and the atmosphere was clean. We enjoyed our visit.
Customer service is great. Those hot rolls they give you once you are seated are The Best in Texas! Sausage , chicken and that turkey are great on that 3 meat plate. I can’t get enough of that bread. The sides are great as well but I pay extra for a bake potato. The bake potatoes are amazing and come fully loaded just like I like it. Please come treat yourself and family to great service and food.
First time here; because we’re relatively new to the area. It has since become our favorite barbecue spot. The place was clean and well kept, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. We had the babyback ribs, with green beans, baked potato, and Mac and cheese. We will definitely go back. If you haven’t been, you need to go. If you have been, you need to go back.
Today we wanted to try a new BBQ place out for lunch and went here after searching online. We both ordered the $9.95 Special. One with chicken and one with the marbled brisket. The portions of the meat were perfect. For the two sides each we selected the Mac and cheese, the potatoes salad and the coleslaw. Also came with a fresh baked role still hot. We got there a little after 11am before it got too busy. We also each had ice tea. The baker even came around offering more of the warm just baked roles. Overall this restaurant is well worth the stop for lunch or dinner.
Nice place to get some BBQ with the family. Love that you get unlimited sides with the BBQ plates. I tried the baked potato with chopped beef this time and it was awesome. They even come around with hot bread while your eating! The place is always very clean when we go in to eat. They also serve Blue Bell ice cream. Can’t go wrong with Blue Bell.

I came to spring creek bbq and I've found my new fav spot. Food was delicious and the people were extremely nice. Of course the brisket was my favorite. Super tender and tasty. I highly recommend!
Great atmosphere today. Very busy, staff were very friendly and happy. Brisket was very tender and juicy!! Enjoyed lunch today.

Lil pricey but it’s barbecue so….
I wanted to try a franchise BBQ restaurant... Unfortunately the brisket had no smoke ring and tasted like it was out of an oven very little flavor. The sides were good and the peach cobbler was awesome.
Good food. Good service
Brisket is always good. Never GREAT but never TERRIBLE. There best protein is probably their chicken. REALLY GOOD loaded baked potato. I mean I would not drive across town for it. But if you close and you want some BBQ, And you don't want to gamble. Spring Creek is the place to go.
Really good, fun atmosphere, lots of families. Yeast rolls were great. We got the end of the been ribs. Not impressed. The black pepper sausage and the brisket were really good and their barbecue sauce is a little sweet which does something amazing with the crust on the brisket which is a little salty. We'd go again.
Love this place! Only gave it a 4 due to an extremely moldy drink station. We can't sit anywhere near it because it makes us sick and dizzy.
The food was good. It could have been hotter. It seemed like the steam tables were turned down. If you want good Mac n Cheese, this is not the place. It tasted like something you make from a box at home. The flavor and concept is there, but it just didn't quite meet the mark for me.
It's a cute little restaurant and the way that you get food is kind of like a school cafeteria. Which isn't bad or anything. The food was good, especially the rolls! The brisket was quite delicious but the pork ribs were a tad bit dry. The tea was super good. The only issue was service... Now It was only one person that got a little rude and snippy. I didn't appreciate that but maybe they were just having a bad day. Otherwise, the food is really good and I would recommend eating here.
The BBQ is mediocre, and the chopped beef sandwich meat is disappointingly served from a pre-made pot of meat product instead of actual freshly diced brisket. The staff are engaged and friendly. The freshly baked rolls (more like mini loaves of bread) that are passed out to the customers can be addictive. The amount of dust and grime on the vents that overhang the cooking area is quite concerning. Pictures attached. Overall, this is a moderately adequate place to stop in for a quick taste of bbq.
Good quick service. The pulled pork sandwich was really good along with the Mac and cheese. The potato salad tasted out of a tub while the Cole slaw was dry. The Mac and cheese was decent although not warm. The brisket was dry and lacked flavor which was disappointing but their fresh bread rolls are yummy.
We came for lunch, not crowded at all. Everyone was really nice and attentive. I do like the lady who brought us extra bread, she was lovely and thoughtful! Brisket was moist, tender, way better than other BBQ chains. Ribs was a little bit sweet. Turkey was alright. I do like green bean and coleslaw the most. Bread was fresh and buttery, 100% like. I will be back for other dishes.
First time here. We enjoyed a pleasant lunchtime meal. We had ribs, chopped beef sandwich, bbq beef stuffed baked potato. Cole slaw was exceptional; nice & chunky and not too much dressing. Freshly baked square rolls were delightful. Warm peach cobbler & Blue Bell Ice was so comforting.
Had the three meat platter, ribs, brisket, and black pepper sausage. Brisket and sausage was very good as always. The ribs were very bland needed more dry rub and smoked longer. I will be back.

Food is decent barbecue but you no longer get unlimited sides which makes it a bust for us. Better off spending the $20 a plate at a higher end place as there's not much to the appeal when that use…
Baked potato for lunch, no meat. I asked for extra butter and extra sour cream and they did just that. Everything on my plate looked like a picture and it tasted wonderful.\nMy baked potato for din…
I came an hour before close, so I assume that's part of the reason for my experience. Service is poor. My first time here and the only person who spoke to me was the lady taking money. Just stared at me until I ordered. Like three sides and no sauce (they were refilling the water). So I had dry brisket on bread with the last pickle on the side and fries. Flavor was good. Fries were fresh and the best part. CO2 was out so drink was flat Had to walk around the restaurant to find Ketchup. Again...im sure they were closing so I'll try again but I wasn't impressed. Had to cross the street to get a smoothie to fill up.
We normally have excellent food, but my takeout order this past Sunday was marginal. I ordered the sliced brisket and it was extraordinarily tough and dry. What happened?
The restaurant is great. I love the enviromenr, the music. We went for spirit night to support the school. Pretty sure the teachers are the reason it was great. I never had a waitress come to my table and refill the drinks but seen other tables who were not here for spirit night get refills by waitresses, nobody took the dirty dishes off the table or came to check on us. I was under the impression since the receipt says "tip" that we would actually get service. The food to me, wasn't that great. Macaroni had no flavor at all, potato salad tasted more like mustard than anything else. The meat was probably the best thing, the sausage isn't the good smoked sausage like Zummos, it's the cheap sausage like eckerds that isn't really "smoked sausage" more like a giant hot dog.
Been here for countless school spirit nights. It's ok. Pricey for the portion of meat you get. Their service is very good, however. All you can eat vegetables/sides and rolls, but they're not much to write home about. Hardly any low carb options. Maybe Cole slaw. Sides just sit in steam pan heat lamp all day. Rolls pretty good. Continuously offered table side fresh out the oven. Protein portion just too small. Brisket ok. Pass on ribs. Sausage is some cheap ekridge farms sausage youd get at a wal mart. Doesn't seem "Texan". Tonight I tried their pull pork for first time and was pleasantly surprised. Overall I think it overpriced and the lack of variety and appeal of the all you can eat sides don't make up for it.
I've been a big fan of Spring Creek for at least a decade. Visited multiple locations. Visited this past Friday, and I'm still reeling from how disappointing it was. I'm prone to bouts of poor appetite/nausea due to health issues, but good bbq is something I've always been able to rely on. The brisket was so poorly trimmed that I bit into about a 3/4" piece of fat and instantly lost my appetite. Chicken was a little cooler than usual despite it being lunchtime??? First time I've ever been to a Spring Creek and not been offered bread at the table. I'm assuming leaving a glob of fat on a 3 oz portion of brisket and whatever happened with the bread are attributable to cost cutting measures. Welp, we had a good run.
The food seemed dry, the ribs I received were burnt. The meat server usually ask what kind of ribs you want, but he gave me what he wanted. The sides were good not great. The best thing there that day was the freshly baked rolls. I definitely had a better experience there before. One more thing, there were lots of nats. I won't be going back to this location.
I've never been to this place before and with so many good reviews I was looking forward to some good BBQ. I was honestly expecting more for a $17 plate. The brisket was decent, the pulled pork was ok. I found a huge chunk of what looked like burnt skin or something in my pulled pork, it was definitely not meat. The Mac and cheese tastes like $.99 box Mac and cheese. The bread and the peach cobbler were delicious. That's the only reason I'm giving it 3 stars. Not worth it in my opinion.
The ribs were delicious. So tender and packed with flavor. Even the pulled pork was fantastic. My only thoughts are that for the price, the macaroni tastes like any typical box brand, and the fries were okay. For the price, it's a bummer that the only flavourful and (Unique flavors?) Are from the meat. Yes, this is a BBQ place, so the meat being good is very important, but I feel Macaroni is also a paired in staple when getting BBQ, so I wish it was a little better. The biscuit/bread loaf they give you (and walk around and offer you more of) was very soft and tasty. ALSO, the display slices for the Pie I am very sure are bigger than the real ones they sell because I walked up and saw the display after we had eaten, asked about the price (I think $5 or $6) and I thought well that's a pretty big slice, then when you go to the fridge with the slices they sell it was definitely a smaller container (possibly smaller slice it really felt like it) so that also upset me a bit. Again, the MEAT WAS FANTASTIC. Well flavored and cooked. However, for the price, we were slightly disappointed with the rest of it.
Alright, look-it. You're not going to like your whole family...so you can't expect to like a whole BBQ joint. Let me explain:\n\n1. The meat is awesome (we tried brisket, sausage, and ribs). Being …

It is always incredibly hot. They don't want to put it under 78° and with the bread's oven, we were SWEATING. I told the manager and she said that the AC was broken. After that, 3 employees told me that the AC was fine!
I hadn’t ever tried this place and now I know why lol. This is not real bbq and the sides are all fake and processed tasting too. The only thing I enjoyed was my roll! Idk how it has so many decent reviews because it was all disgusting and I threw most of it out.
When my wife and I qnd my 2 daughters walked in, a young guy was chopping meat and didn't even acknowledge us. our 1st time there so we were looking over the menu, no one behind us so I asked if I could sample the sausage, he gave me a nice sample enough for wife and I. I ordered some brisket and chicken, Mac n cheese and some green beans. brisket was dry, not bad taste. chcik3n was great, Mac n cheese was horrible, and green beans were fresh and hot and tasted good. my wife ordered the ribs which were great, and 2 side, the potato salad should be better and the corn was nothing great. The girl who was serving fresh baked rolls in a basket was rude at 1st wh3n she came by, then came back around to being nice i dont know why. We wanted to complain about these things initially when we were there but we just fed ourselves, and the babies and we left.
I never had problems before at this place by the way This is one of my favorite places to eat... but today it was not the best ... I got there and the person at the grill didn't welcome me and he didn't say nothing at all... I had to start the order for my food, so I told him my order. He was cutting the meat and kinda throwing it on to the plate then when he finished serving it he put it on top of the bar closer to his side, not to me and had to get on my tippy toes to reach it ... after I said thanks he didn't even responded with a "your welcome or nothing ... I ask the cashier if he was the owner or something and she replied may I ask why ? And told her what happened and she said: " oh I know he is very rude with all of us "(she is Hispanic) I think he has problems with all Hispanics.. so I ask for the manager ... he was so nice to hear what I had to say and he apologized to me then he said that he will send him to apologize to me ... so that guy came and said " my apologies to you ... I didn't welcome you as the same as all the customers but I was tied with another thing ..*observation*... he needs training again I guess no one told him that "the customer is always first".
I was disappointed in this place based on reviews. The food was subpar, and that's generous. With so many great bbq options around, I don't understand why anyone would come here??
After spending several minutes on the phone with the young lady, and I repeated ‘fatty’ brisket and extra sour cream with the baked potato, over and over. And I did say that I would pay for the cost for extra sour cream. What I got for $50: was 2/3 lb of dry thick hunks of roast, and 1/3 lb of adequate fatty meat. And my baked potato has NO BUTTER on it, and a mere 2T of sour cream on a potato as big as my shoe. The receipt does not indicate any of my specifications. Zero attention to detail. I tried to call and speak with a manager and the phone was never answered.
My wife wanted to be eat so we did. I think this place is overrated. She paid $25 for a barbecue baked potato and two side items. She claims the guy at the counter, told her the items were included. They charge us four dollars each at the register. The cashier said they were not included. Either my wife can't read or they lied to her.

Been going there for years, the BBQ is great and I am mostly there for the rolls. Went there yesterday with guests from out of town and thought it odd the parking lot was empty compared to every ot…
I have to say that Spring Creek has gone downhill. The meat was ok. Kinda dry. Seemed overcooked. The barbecue sauce was watery and almost had no taste. The bread girl had a real attitude and was in a big hurry. We had to yell at her because she was serving so fast that she missed one of our party needing a roll. For the $80 I spent on my family having Fathers Day dinner, it was a huge disappointment. We won't be back.
Inedible sausage. Dried out from sitting all day under the lamp. Pieces of hard either bone or cartiledge in first attempted bites. Had to throw away. Called manager and she just made excuses such as bone pieces are part of the sausage and sausage was in the smoker longer. No offer to replace item. I will not be back or recommend this restaurant. Loss of $20.
This place was so bad tonight. Had a chopped baker, and the meat was dried out like shoe leather, and I have no idea how old the potato was, but it was just mush and had zero flavor. The mac and cheese was barely room temperature, so we asked for a hot one, and got the same crap out of the same pan. Even the bread was bad, it was flat like a cracker. This place won't be open much longer at this rate.
The barbecue sandwich was horrible. The bun was dry. The ice tea tasted like water and the turkey sandwich was dry as well as tasteless. The potato salad was good. Overall I will not go back. Super disappointed.
Has gone downhill. staff looked unhappy to be there . Order a 2 or 3 meat plate, but don't even get 1/4 pound of meat total . It's the same amount of meat as a regular plate . Plenty of parking and seating , it was truly a disappointing trip . Save your money . You're better off going to McDonald's for a mcRi.bb.
What happened? It is well past Covid to set blame.... place looked trashed, pickle bar a disaster etc. Sweet tea has been changed, and you once could ask for additional portions on the sides (after Covid by the way), something my 11 year old enjoyed. All the things that made this place special have now changed. The bread and lady walking around were the best part of today's service. The female manager at the register was clueless and didn't understand what this restaurant once was, as a pastime. I am broken hearted since we drove from out of town to eat here. Never again. My husband and son felt like the meat portions were less. If I get notified, I took photos.
The brisket was dry and the chicken was very fatty. The portions were very large but i immediately threw it up later that night and continued to throw up the day after. The mac and cheese was essentially just mac no cheese. The workers were pretty nice and helpful, the food just wasn’t good at all. Wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Today I'm leaving the establishment and the food is delicious as always, but today I had an unpleasant time waiting for the rolls, I only ate the one they put on my plate when they were served and then the young woman in charge completely ignored us, I don't know if it was racism, but this time she was rude.
Hello Community, First of all I’d like to say way to extortionate. 3 piece Meat Combo $30 for one plate, Not much meat. Sorry to say meat is ok sides are not all that and we asked for a basket of fries and the employee said No only sides. I suggest going to your local H-E-B and buying BBQ from there at True Texas BBQ.
first time was excellent. Second time was terrible, and very embarrassing because I brought my boyfriend to try for the first time, I was raving about how good it was but I was dumbfounded when they served us (picture below), it was $45 dollars for two of these plates. WHAT A RIP OFF. Literally 3 slices of brisket, very pitiful. I am embarrassed of how well I spoke about this place and was let down terribly. Only thing that made it somewhat ok was the very nice bread girl. (Blonde and younger in age, didn’t get her name). I’m definitely disappointed and won’t be coming back for lack of portion consistency.
The food was so gross. Nothing had flavor, my “mac & cheese” was just buttered noodles. I wanted to get some peach cobbler but I was scared it would also be gross. I’m mad I spent money at this place, not sure how they even got any good reviews.
Well...where do I start.....it's a buffet style so you walk up with trays and scoot along a row of metal bins with food in them that was cooked earlier in the day like elementary school lunch and served by the lunch lady. The meat "looked" appetizing, however....for $20 I rcvd 5 ribs that we're so fall of the bone they were mushy and greasy. Plain great value ketchup from a bottle would've been better then the sauce they called BBQ sauce. The baked beans were thirst quenching though... as they tasted like water, and the potatoes salad was.......sorry..just baked potato pieces in a yellow sauce. Even the lemonaid from the fountain was nothing but pink water.....I'm sorry....I'm a truck driver and have eaten in some questionable diners and that would've have been considered gourmet compared to this. HOWEVER.......the bread rolls were pretty good.. (oh yeah ..there frozen) well what can I say....sorry Spring Creek......your Spring has sprung.
What a waste of 22 dollars. Potato was burnt and had a horrible taste. Banana pudding was a cup of whipped cream with one cookie and a few slices of banana. I will never go there again
We elected to withhold our review until we gave Spring Creek BBQ a second chance. Our initial experience at the Spring location was underwhelming, with the food bearing a striking resemblance to dried-out leftovers. We then decided to try the second location on I-45 in Shenandoah, but unfortunately, our experience did not improve. The brisket was remarkably dry and lacked discernible flavor. The BBQ sausage tasted eerily similar to an Oscar Meyer hot dog wiener. The baked potato was also overcooked and dry. The barbecue sauce itself had a diluted consistency, with an apparent excess of sugar, resulting in a watery taste. These issues were consistent with our experience at the original Spring location. Ultimately, our lunch experience was a disappointing waste of over $40.00. 👎👎
My family and I just left the Shenandoah establishment after a 2pm lunch on a Saturday. The food was fine, but the atmosphere was…dirty. Nearly every other table had not been bused in some time, so diners had to first find a clean table to sit at and then eat surrounded by dirty tables. Workers also did not come around to offer fresh bread. Do better, Spring Creek.
I had high expectations when I came to this establishment but this expectations were quickly squashed with the rudeness of the meat slicer who didn’t even care to weigh out our meats. He then chose to slice the driest oldest meat on the table. When asked how they weigh the meat the manager said on a plate at the meat station. That never happened. This place was horrible and I won’t ever return.
