Great historic bar with museum-type exhibits of Shiner and the area. Green happens to be our last name, and we attended with our 97yo mother. Outstanding food, drinks, and toilet!

Incredible dinner and experience.The owners did a marvelous job restoring this saloon to its original form; it takes you back in time to the wild west days of Texas. The atmosphere is fun, the staff is incredible, and the live band they had was good. My wife and had dinner here. I had their Palace Burger which was beyond delicious. My wife had their chicken tenders and she loved them. Their mashed potatoes are out of this world delicious. Great place to stop by and visit if you're in the Shiner, Texas area.

I loved the atmosphere! The drinks and appetizer were amazing, but the fish and chips were overcooked and tasted nothing like they should have. Our server was awesome, so of course, we tipped her well! I might not normally patronize this business again because of the exorbitant price of lack of luster, almost inedible food that was not cooked properly. I am not one to complain... I just never patronize the business that disappointed me ever again. But... because of the realistic Texas western decor and atmosphere and our amazing server, I will give them another chance in the future and pray the food is better considering the amount they charge for it.

I ordered the special fish and chips, my wife ordered the tater tot barrels she said they were good. But my fish the first piece was good but the next 2 tasted like mud and my fries were cooled i told my waitress. She said she would let the manager know. They charged me full price for a meal i did not eat. Will not be back because of how they handled it.

Great atmosphere,great wait staff. The $18 chicken fried steak I could barely cut it was so tough with no seasoning. The mashed potatoes and green beans were good. The catfish was good.

The atmosphere and the server were excellent but the food was really expensive. The chicken fried steak was about the size if a hamburger patty. The mashed potatoes and fried okra were cold and very bland. So all in all I would just go to hear the live music and have some drinks. The music was great, and the whole place was beautiful.

Not worth the price gouging. We had fun while we were there, but they didn't print our ticket for us. When my husband paid, he asked, they said know and he paid it anyways. We had over $20 of unaccounted money that we paid once I added up everything in the car. We should have pressed harder for the ticket to review before paying so that's on us, but not great business to take advantage of people. We both had chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was really good, but my husband had to send his back because the batter was burnt on his. The spicy margarita was great, the blueberry lavender lemonade was ok - I've had better. We were with a large group so I'm not sure if they added on a huge auto gratuity fee? Went in, sat down, ordered our drinks, dinner and an appetizer of mushrooms. They brought my husband‘s food out and I ask about our appetizers and our server said they weren’t ready. I told my husband just to go ahead and eat his dinner about 10 minutes later they brought the mushrooms. I still haven’t received my dinner so I started eating some of the mushrooms. My husband was finished with his dinner. About 10 minutes later they brought my dinner out which was just a burger and fries. I said box it up we’re finished. Took us 1 hour and a half to get a chicken wrap with tenders that I could’ve made in 10 minutes, and cold fries. Hate to say it, but if you visit shiner, avoid this place. To top it off 6 of us each got separate tickets and were treated to a wonderful automatic gratuity charge.
