Tucked away at the quiet intersection of Tapo & Township, Chef Burger 2 feels like it’s been part of the neighborhood forever. No idea where Chef Burger 1 is, but I’ll take number 2 any day. One thing that immediately won me over? One of the old review photos showed a classic snap-in letterboard menu. You know the kind—places with those signs usually serve up incredible food. Sadly, they’ve swapped it for a digital menu, which wasn’t working when I visited. But hey, the food’s what really matters. I ordered John’s Sandwich—egg, steak, avocado, Swiss cheese, and more. The flavors were spot on, even if the steak leaned a little chewy. Still, a solid meal. Bonus points for stocking Tapatío hot sauce—a necessity, really. Overall, I’d rate this place around a 4.2-4.5, but locally owned spots get an automatic one-star bump in my book. Hard work deserves recognition. Moses recommends Chef Burger 2. Next time, a burger is definitely happening (given the name and all).
The onion rings are amazing, they have a brilliant flavour and crunch. The gyros are delicious and are made to order. It is quick Greek comfort food. The price is also reasonable for the portion size. This is a gyros meal. You get either fries or onions rings and a cup for the soda machine.

Who would have believed that a non descript building in a residential area would serve such delicious food! They open early, and the coffee is good. I've never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy.

I was so happy with the breakfast omelette I had. It was my favorite in Simi and most places I have been. There was a perfect amount of ingredients and the omelette was not dry like many places. Everything was great! I look forward to going back!!
I was not very hungry when I got there but boy did I clean my plate. That young lady that helped us and even brought our food is seriously so wonderful, not too mention very pretty.
Although I haven't tried everything there yet. I did share some fries with my son. They were so good and their ranch dressing tastes like homemade. The fries were seasoned perfectly, and very large portions. I highly recommend this place. Friendly service.
Tasty food, friendly staff, and great prices. I asked to add a side of spinach to my breakfast plate and they gave it to me for free! This place is everything I said plus it's generous
This place is a little hole in the wall but they have great food. The original owner had another place in the SFV that my family frequented when i was growing up. He sold this business to an employee some years back but it didn't affect things in any way. They are kind here and the for us great. I recommend the Gyros. They are the best in town for sure!
I got a breakfast burrito at around 9am and I didn’t finish it until 6pm. It became my food for my whole work day. It was so huge, had to be 3 pounds and taste so good. Will buy again!

I got a breakfast burrito at around 9am and I didn’t finish it until 6pm. It became my food for my whole work day. It was so huge, had to be 3 pounds and taste so good. Will buy again!

Ordered a Philly cheesesteak for my kid and a hot dog for my other one, they were okay, not bad but nothing to rave about. However the Greek salad is definitely worth having again and again.
Food was pretty good. Got the pastrami dip and my wife got the Philly cheesesteak. Pretty solid. Staff was very kind and helpful. Father-in-law got the breakfast burrito and it was MASSIVE. What a value.

First time here So many potatoes in the breakfast burrito . All carbs way too much . But in today's economy good filler but don't support obesity places . Good to know to tell them no potatoes tho

Placed a to go order today. When I arrived home with my food biscuits for biscuits and gravy were burnt black and inedible. when I was sitting there waiting for my order to be completed, I realized I was sitting there for a very long time when the staff realized I was growing impatient they started shouting out, speaking about me who I was, and what my order was. the hashbrowns, were raw hard and uncooked. It seems every time I come to this place a few weeks apart the food gets worse. The staff gets less hospitable. Do better.
