The best food experience is Sirmione. This restaurant is great, the outdoor seating is very comfortable and nice. The food was amazing! Both shrimp gnocchi and the seabass were delicious and the service was so nice. Highly recommend this place!

Ate at Bistro Grill Da Pier tonight and it was a wise decision, the food was great I had gnocchi and the wife had tagliatelle bolognese. Both were great with a tiramisu to follow up. The waitress was brilliant and all staff were helpful, toilets were clean as was everywhere else.

Fantastic restaurant with friendly staff. Great atmosphere and wonderful food. I recommend the gnocchi followed by the sliced steak with a half litre of the house red! Good choices for vegetarians too.

Best food I’ve eaten in Lake Garda! Their Gnocchi, with prawns and zucchini, was divine. Unfortunately, drops a star recommendation as service wasn’t the best (no bread until starters and mains arrived; and we weren’t told that the restaurant was technically closed from 2pm hence given a hasty exit); and there’s loads of flies and bugs around outside (but that’s due to the season, and we are next to the Lake). Would come back.

Nestled in the charming streets of Sirmione, this restaurant tantalized my taste buds with its enticing wine selection and delectable appetizers, setting the stage for what I hoped would be a stellar dining affair. The journey commenced on a high note with an impressive array of appetizers, each bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. The wine selection, meticulously curated, complemented the starters perfectly, enhancing the overall dining experience. Moving on to the main course, I opted for the sea bass, which delivered a satisfactory yet not exceptional culinary delight. While the sea bass showcased promising flavors, there was a discernible margin for enhancement. Nevertheless, it remained a palatable choice that contributed positively to the meal. However, the spotlight dimmed with the arrival of the much-anticipated €50.00 steak Florentine. While the flavor profile tantalized my taste buds with its richness, unfortunately, the steak fell short of perfection due to being slightly overcooked. Moreover, the presence of gristle and tough fats marred the otherwise promising dish, rendering it less enjoyable and detracting from the overall dining experience. Despite the culinary misstep, I remain open-minded and hopeful that it may have been an isolated incident. Amidst the culinary highs and lows, one dish emerged as a clear standout—the risotto with porcini mushrooms. Rich, creamy, and bursting with the earthy flavors of the mushrooms, this dish elevated the dining experience and left a lasting impression. While Ristorante Bistrot Grill Da Pier showcases undeniable culinary prowess, the experience was tempered by the steep prices relative to the meal quality. While I would consider returning for the exceptional appetizers and the memorable risotto, the pricing structure warrants reconsideration to align with the overall dining experience. In conclusion, Ristorante Bistrot Grill Da Pier offers a culinary journey filled with memorable flavors and culinary delights. While there is room for improvement, particularly in the pricing strategy and consistency of dish execution, the restaurant's potential shines through, making it a worthy destination for discerning diners seeking a taste of Sirmione's culinary offerings.

We ate here once in our summer break and had a very mixed experience. My son had the ribs, and they were really nice. My daughter on the other hand was the chicken Milanese cutlet from the kids menu. However, what arrived was definitely not a Milanese chicken cutlet. It was some kind of nugget - we queried this and were told it was chicken nuggets. However, the consistency was completely wrong, I don’t think those nuggets ever came close to a chicken and were undefinable in taste. I told my daughter to not eat it as it was just gross, and we sent the plate back and we ordered the plain tomato pasta instead. This was quite tasty. We were still charged for the plate we sent back, which I wasn’t happy about. Any chef worth their salt should be ashamed to send this type of food out of their kitchen. I’d get better quality ordering popcorn chicken pieces at KFC

So the Atmosphere was nice and even tho it’s right by the street it doesn’t feel like it at all. There’s not a lot of noise and fairly quiet to have a conversation at the table. The food was okay maybe a bit bland but edible. The service tho? Really not that great. If you have a reservation you do get sat fairly quickly and they give you menus. Everything after that is basically non existent. If you’re not Italian they don’t talk to you much. No recommendations, no questions asked and not a smile in sight. After you get the food you’re basically ignored. I get it tourists are annoying but it’s only the start of the season. We had to ask for bread whilst everyone else for some. We wanted to order desert but when nobody came after 10 minutes we just paid and left. Honestly it would be an amazing place if it was a bit better mood in there. There’s better places to go especially for the price.

Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our visit. As soon as we arrived, we were seated next to a service trolley full of dishes just because we had a small dog, and we were even asked to hide the dog behind it – very uncomfortable and far from elegant. The waitress clearly showed her displeasure when we ordered only wine and one dish, expressing it through her facial expressions and attitude. She showed no interest in us at all, and removed items without a word or apology (such as the bread basket or plate), even while we were still eating and drinking. It’s a real pity, because the carbonara itself was excellent – flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and well balanced. Sadly, the professionalism and courtesy of the staff left a lot to be desired.

Rude staff who didn’t even ask if we had a reservation, assumed our nationality and sat us in a separate outside area next to the busy road. Would not recommend!
