If you missed Tracy's crab Shack, never fear, Sitka's burger and crab Shack has you covered for long and juicy kind crab legs. Prices are typical, even maybe cheaper than Tracy's. It was delicious. The owners are so kind.

This burger and crab shack is very busy for a reason - great food and fast service. This restaurant is small so if you have a large party, plan to get your food to go. I was looking forward to the halibut sandwich, but they were out of stock. Instead, I enjoyed a delicious Philly cheese steak sandwich. The Sitka Burger was also very good. The atmosphere was great and I enjoyed looking at all of the different decorations, flags, and artwork on the walls. If you ever visit Sitka, don't miss the opportunity to check this place out.

When in Sitka, AK, go for king crab and seafood at Sitka's Burger and Crab Shack! We had Alaska King Crab Legs and Alaskan Halibut Sandwich & Fries. We were visiting Sitka for the day from a cruise port and we were trying to find a restaurant for fresh king crab and seafood. We stumbled here after walking around discovering Sitka downtown. It did take a bit longer for our food to be ready but knowing two cruise ships docked they were so busy with lines the door. There is also minimal tables to sit but good time when our food arrived, we found a table outside to devour our food. It was a sunny and it was nice to sit outside taking in the wonderful weather we were lucky to have in September 2024 in Alaska. If you are ever in Sitka, must try out their fresh seafood!

We saw this gem of a place on the map and decided to try it out based on the reviews. It did not disappoint! We were checking to see when it opened and the Owner, Carrie, invited us in out of the rain. She allowed us to sit there and stay dry until they were ready. We enjoyed talking with her and her husband, Peter about Alaska, as this was a stop for us on the cruise. We told them going to their restaurant was our excursion! We got the Big Seafood box--2 king crab legs, dungeness crab, halibut and fries. We also added on a lobster tail. The food was so fresh and delicious! Get there early, because the dining room is small, but there is some outside seating. They also have Coke products which is a plus for us! We thought the pricing of $178 for the box plus $20 for the lobster was comparable to where we ate in Juneau. Absolutely would eat here again if we ever come back. Highly recommend!!

Oh my gosh, they are not kidding that these are the best burgers in town! While they are a bit pricey, they are well worth it. I have to say, I wasn't impressed by the service. The girl at the cash register/taking orders appeared super bored and almost annoyed that we were there! But, after watching her interact with other customers it was clear the behavior was not about us and relatively consistent. Perhaps she was having a bad day or maybe this is just her personality. But, don't let this deter you, the burgers were outstanding! They were cooked perfectly and we all enjoyed what we ordered. The fries are good too but eat them quick or they will get cold quick! I would definitely come back if I had more time here!

We stopped in with a large group coming from a cruise ship. We were over hungry and tired from the days adventure and we were met by friendly smiles and delicious food. We had the halibut fish and chips, clam chowder, burgers and crab. Even the Philly was great. The woman at the counter even gave my son a dollar to write his name on and post to the wall when I didn't have any cash. The food came fast and was great! Highly recommend the short walk from the main street.

WOW is all I can say - one of the highlights of our family’s trip to AK - we were spoiled with our cruise line’s food all week yet this lunch was still the most talked about! Do not let the prices mislead you - We did not realize until after we traveled to other ports of call how modestly priced yet DELICIOUS their menu was. Best king crab legs and halibut filets we’ve ever had. The staff went above and beyond and even gave us extra crab legs since we were the last order of the day. Truly special. We wore the butter on our clothes proudly for the rest of the day!

We came into Sitka today on a cruise. Did research on the best place to get king crab in Sitka and this spot was most definitely the highest rated. Kerry was fabulous! She's very personable. Unfortunately there is a review in here for a place that isn't even this restaurant! Otherwise she would have 5 stars! I think the man that was helping up front is Edwin and he was right on top of getting everything out and Kerry came by a couple times to make sure everything was good and did we need anything more. We had the King Crab Box 1 and it was a lot of food for 2 people to eat. Sure a great experience. So glad to be able to enjoy this gem in Sitka. Thank you Kerry, we will most DEFINITELY be back!

Perfect place to enjoy a sit down! We ordered: Crab- super Fresh with a beautiful presentation! Burger- big, savory and filling! Chowder- Iconic flavor, creamy and chewy! So good!!!

Such good fish!!!!! It wonderful finding fresh, local, tasty fish. It would just be a good idea to set up something to help with the rain for people stuck outside.

Was delicious and definitely worth the money to have crab in Alaska! However, the restaurant itself was a bit lack luster for how pricey the meal was. The picture below was $150.

I rally wanted a Halibut sandwich and decided to give this place a try!!! I was very excited after reading all the reviews. The sandwich was okay! Everything tasted very fresh- two things I would suggest doing (putting tartar sauce on the sandwich instead of mayo) and getting some pickles. It was very weird to me that a burger joint does not have pickles at all not even for the burgers.Knocked two stars down because of the very high price, there was not a lot of fish in the sandwich and the lack of pickles. Other than that I would try this place again and see about their burgers. Employees seemed very friendly and nice.

Just average. If you’re looking for an expensive so so burger with a side of grease and luke warm fire then this place is for you. Burgers need a good dill pickle to complement but they don’t know what pickles are. Better burger on our ship
