Maybe no one knows about this location, or maybe its just hard to get to...but this Starbucks is never busy. That means this is your best bet for getting the coveted always out of stock grilled cheese or bacon gouda sandwiches. They also have nitro brew. Seriously, why doesn't every Starbucks have nitro brew?

Wonderful service, ordered a nitro cold brew, for some reason did not have enough product to fill the size I had ordered, so I was refunded the cost. They treat you as if you are an old friend.

I love coming to this Starbucks on Firestone and Hildreth. All the baristas are friendly and they provide great service. I just wish it was easier to get out of the drive thru because you have to get out facing oncoming traffic on Firestone it's hard and sometimes dangerous when big rigs are coming fast thru the street.

I love going here after school ! The staff is super friendly and always have my drinks ready quickly. They were even nice enough to offer my dog a bowl of water when it was really hot that day. I always come back to order from here !
Loved it but I'm a coffee lover so I have a bias. The young lady was awesome, the greatest manners. And very sweet, don't know if I'll get her in trouble. However an older lady, didn't seem to look homeless. Was looking for a warm drink to help her with the cold. This young lady gave her a small warm coffee. An act of kindness, we should pass it along. I frequent this Starbucks about once maybe twice a week. I usually order my drink right before I arrive there and it's always ready. My drink is a bit complicated or like my husband would say "it's special like me". And no matter what my extras are they always make it just right! I would recommend this Starbucks to any aficionado and I'm sure you wont be dissatisfied. The baristas have always been friendly and very courteous, if you've experienced anything different I suggest giving them another try.
Great people working here. Prompt service and honesty. My husband was going to work and didn't wait for his debit card. We returned the next day and they had the card stored safely. Thanks.
Good customer service here. The person who attended me was polite. Coffee was great and at a good temperature. I don't recommend trying to wait if the drive thru line is all the way to the street, could result in collision.
Baristas are nice. Even if they get something wrong, you know they’re trying and working hard. It’s frightening and disappointing that the manager would continue to keep this location open all day considering how COVID cases are rising and they are across from a busy shopping center. So many other locations have closed to protect workers. I haven’t gone in 3 weeks but see how busy they are when I drive by and hope that the lives of those workers are being put before sales. They should at least be given gloves and asked to serve at the window with a tray.
The staff is amazing here. I come here regularly and Bella I think is her name with the red hair is always quick to greet me with a smile and her suggestions are on point.
You guys are so awesome! I have 2 Starbucks closer to my house but I would rather drive to you guys. I always leave with a smile. Today in particular you guys made my day. The girl in the drive through was patiently waiting for our order we had a bunch of different drinks to order and they were special orders. She did mention next time we could order on line 😁
The drive thru young man was VERY courteous, attentive and friendly. The problem I have with THIS Starbucks is the wait time. It seems a bit slower than other stores. I get the whole TINY parking LOT bc of the location chosen. I also get the trouble with drive thru being so irregular. BUT, I believe the speed of service may actually alleviate some of the confusion and frustration from drivers trying to use the Drive thru line. Some vehicles actually BLOCK TRAFFIC on FIRESTONE BLVD. THAT in itself may be a complete SAFETY HAZARD for drive thru customers or even PEDESTRIANS trying to walk on the sidewalk in front of the business. I STRONGLY believe SPEED OF SERVICE may alleviate some of these issues. Good luck!!
The short barista with the curly ponytail is one of the rudest baristas I have ever come across. She has the tendency to cut people off, ignore them, and roll her eyes. She has an overall nasty attitude.
Quick and easy drive thru ordered 10 drinks and it was pretty fast and had good flavor will return

They never have all my drinks ready when order from the app.I usually order 5 frappes. When I get there 3 are sitting there by the pick up window and 2 of them I have to wait at the window more than 5 min more while my other frappes are just melting. This has happened 3 times and I get there when the app tells me to be there.
Im not sure if they don’t have enough staff but every time I visit this location I end up waiting a ridiculous amount. Whether it’s by car or walk up window. I literally live 2 minutes away(walking) and I honestly rather go to another location because every time I tell myself it’ll be different. It isn’t.
Got a new item off the menu, the honey latte with oatmilk. There was a blonde option but I like a deeper coffee flavor. It tasted like bland milk with zero coffee and it was expensive. Can't imagine what the blonde would've tasted like. I'm usually satisfied with their new items but I feel like they just poured 90% milk & any other space with espresso shots, not worth the price and definitely not for someone who actually likes coffee.
Drink and food was great but multitasking is not a strength for some here. Immediately closed the window when I asked for items. Very rude . Drove off with no napkins that I asked for a. Drive back and employee replied that they didn’t have napkins. Lol. Wow. Being courteous in the beginning would have changed everything. Customer service wasn’t present.
This location has been ridiculously slow in providing service. If you're in a hurry or limited I'm time, I suggest going to another location. This is the case both weekdays and weekends, even on their downtime ...
Long wait to get your order taken, they are always out of what is offered in the menu. Only good if you are buying coffee only. They never have the extra stuff that you will like to have with your coffee. Staff is nice and polite...
Don't spend the extra money on the pistachio cream cold foam. This location is one of the few Starbucks I've been to that just uses the regular whipped cream topping instead of the cold foam. You can taste the difference if you're a regular.
Why do they think you eat eggs with a spoon? Nobody does that unless they’re a baby.
The employee Cynthia rolled her eyes at me when I decided to pay with my starbucks app instead of my debit card. It doesn’t take much time to put the card machine away and just scan my app. Maybe she was having a bad day already but I don’t think it means to roll eyes at the customers. We also wait in line patiently and we didn’t give her bad attitude.
No so great place to get quality drinks, asked for light apple juice on my custom with only one extra pump of sweetener. More than half of my tea was apple juice and had twice the amount of sweetener not to mention the frapp I ordered along with it had watery whip cream and even forgot the topping. The place can look spify and have amazing drinks like nitro coldbrew but until they fix there basic core drinks I won't be returning anytime soon
I asked for grand coffe with venti cup and they put ice up to grand size. There were hardly no coffee and it was mostly all ice. I was little bit disappointed it. Ice coff was good,but not enough coffee.
They completely ignore the Mobile order pick up window. My order was just sitting there forever. I could see it. And they would just pass by over and over again ignoring it, and the window until I finally knocked on the window.
So, I made a phone order. In my order I got 2 bagels. I arrive to my sons baseball game wanting to enjoy and no cream cheese! I call and they tell me I had to add cream cheese on cart. Starbucks should switch this. It’s more common sense a bagel has cream cheese and if a customer doesn’t want it then remove créeme cheese.
This South Gate Starbucks is a walk up/drive through design with no inside. Some outdoor seating. Tiny parking lot. It was as busy at 5 AM at this location as any Starbucks I've ever been to at 5 am.
I got a Venti iced Americano with Splenda and cream via mobile order. When I got up to the window the barista let me know that they were out of Splenda so I asked if I could get Classic syrup. I get Splenda due to it being a low calorie option that still tastes good so I don't mind classic. She gave me attitude saying "we usually charge for that but I'll do it this time". It was the tone of her voice as she said that that really irked me. I know it's extra, but when you're out of an item that has already been paid for you make it "right" (starbucks verbiage not mines).
Booooo!!! Today I purchase the new pineapple spicy refresher and the barista forgot to add my pineapple smh wahhh And those girls were all sliding in there they need proper shoes just saying excuse me for being nosy lol And the worst part is they remove the outdoor tables and benches. :(
Very poor customer service cashier very rude her manager is worst I swear a god waited 15 minutes to place my order the girl was what ?? Keep telling her Cold brew coffee... Cold brew coffee 🤦♂️🤦♂️ a brewed coffee.... when I got to the window after another 15 minutes waiting she was you order strawberry bla bla bla bla I was NO I’m getting a cold brew coffee please so I had to wait another 5 minutes... finally she gave me my coffee and I ask if I can get my debit card back she said that she did gave it to me I keep telling her she didn’t Nd she kept insisting she did and finally she was uh sorry it’s here under the napkins okay whatever ..... can I get a straw and guess what ??? Not worth the stop the service is terrible I rather go to a another starbucks where its just as busy but they know what they're doing... Everythime Ive been there they act like chickens with their heads cut off. That hub is giving starbucks a bad name.
never coming here again i asked for a frapp with oat milk and no whip and i got whip i have lactose i cant have some things which is why i ordered it special for me i told the guy working i asked for no whip and he seemed very annoyed he took it back scooped out the whip and just added extra caramel i don’t know if he noticed that i saw but i find it so ridiculous that he did that never coming back honestly just want a refund!!!!!

The employees work ethics are less than impressive. They took too long to prepare coffee and it was horrible. My coffee was disgusting, it was burnt. Starbucks has definitely downgraded on their employee, standards.
This Starbucks is flawed for a few reasons.. one they never are stocked with any warm food products , but yet the offer them...the employees never seem to know what I’m asking for In drinks when it’s just going from a hot drink to iced. I don’t have these problems in any of the other Starbucks I’ve been to and I kept coming in hope things got better but they still have not... won’t be coming here anymore.... this place is so rude I hate that the few women staff that were rude ruine it for the store and make everyone look bad this place need to have an attitude change and better service for the price of the item.... 1 star because you cant leave it blank..
Been coming here for sometime now, but lately more times then not the service has gotten very slow. We waited 27min which isn't horrible but only 5 cars ahead of us , not to mention my drink with "Light ice" and the cup has 3/4 of ice in the cup
Not sure what's really going on here but this is the only Starbucks that serves burning hot coffee with one single cup and filled up all the way to the top causing burns, Oh! And u have to ask for a cup sleeve otherwise you won't get one
These peoples lack in taking proper measurement procedures when making drinks, they try to rush orders as quickly as possible at the expense of your drink and money. Very disappointed.
i just went to this Starbucks because i wanted a pumpkin spice latte, a Carmel macchiato and two Grande hot chocolates at kids temperature .we waited 20 min for the first two drinks.not all four but half the order. mind you we were the only ones there. 5 more min go by and the lady gave us two small hot chocolates not Grande and when we told her she said she couldn't do it Grande. people in other places have given us what we ordered without the 40 min wait. so my mom asked for them to be switched to Grande. and some chick with red hair said she would have to pay again .she was so rude. look lady i ordered two Grande hot chocolates not your attitude. so at this point my mother was livid and just said to give her the two small hot chocolates (which weren't even filled) and were not going back. And by the looks of it a lot of people aren't because that place is rude and they don't get your drinks right.
I usually go to different starbucks but I was close to this one so I stopped by. I ordered a caramel frapp with soy milk, no whipped cream, and it tastes like WATER. Literally no flavor whatsoever! I’ve ordered this at different starbucks and it tastes good, I don’t know what the hell they did here but it sucked. If you want watered down drinks then come to this Starbucks.
I've gave this Starbucks a couple a chances since it's on my way to work but I give up they never have nothing in stock.. I ordered a blueberry out meal they don't tell you they don't have the blueberries and yet sell it to you.. I've ordered a green tea latte so disgusting..
I usually come to this starbuck on my way to work service is great but I notice they overcharge sometimes like I ordered a tall pike place and gouda sandwich and got charge 12.76$ and from now on I will always ask for my receipt and double check.😡
They never have your mobile order ready on time, they give you an estimated time and then you still have wait another 15 minutes on top of the 15 or 20 mins you already waited. Pretty ridiculous!
Don't waste your time here. There is a better coffee house a block east on Firestone. Hell, there's even a Dunkin less than a block in the opposite direction that's light-years ahead of this sad excuse for a Starbucks. Employees here are lazy & ALWAYS rude as if being forced into sweatshop labor 🤦🏻♂️ Their ordering screen never works so your order is never accurate and then they make excuses without any apology whatsoever. This location is a joke.
My family and I got food poisoning from their pastries two nights ago! Service was not what we expected either. The girls working the drive thru were rude over a straw.
Made my drink to sweet couldn’t even drink it went back for a remake and juan claimed to be a shift supervisor which I don’t wanna believe because he was so rude and made me uncomfortable sorry if you don’t like your job pls get another one don’t bring negative energy to customers especially a loyal one I handled the situation better as a customer I could of made a scene but chose not to we need to have a strategic fix to this because it’s not the first time. We can forgive but we cant forget the experience I will also be calling corporate to resolve this issue thank you
Horrible Experience with one of there team members, named "Suset". I order my drinks drive thru, i had enough with the cashier that was pressuring me to order. Which was also giving me attitude because i added another drink at the window. Then here comes 'Suset' YELLING in my face through the drive thru window telling me i CAN'T be ordering more drinks at the window. Theres no need to be Yelling to a customer that goes daily to Consume at this location. They should be Thankfull they have a JOB!!!! & That they have clients like me who consume daily. GHETTO persons like Suset shouldn't be working as Baristas.
Definitely not coming back here, worst costumer service, the cashier was very rude and she didn’t gave my debit card back when I came back to pick it up she was like oh I can’t give it to you, then some girl just showed up without introducing herself and ask for my name and gave me the card and just turned around without asking for apologies or anything I guess she was the manager no wonder why the other girls are rude if they gave someone for manger like her . Horrible. I gave a 10 dollar Bill to pay and she had to check it with 2 other people and then used the marker and saw it was real. Funny thing is that i just got that Bill as change at Ross right across the street. I should have shown her the receipt. She didnt even give me a receipt but she is working at drive thru line rn at 11:30pm. Yall need to get ur associates a Bill checker and get it going. Starbucks should do better.
Some of the staff at this location do not pay attention to your order. I used to ask for a medium size coffee black, no sugar, no cream. Guess what they gave me coffee with cream, not once but 3 different times, so I stopped going there. By the way, it was not even busy when it happened, 2 or 3 cars were on the driveway.
Dear Starbucks don't force feed me a mask at the drive thru especially when your employee is being rude and grabbing the mask themselves instead of offering me one I just went to your location and next time I'll go to one that is not forcing it's customers Update 2-1-22 I got a tea instead of a mocha coffee I ordered. Drove up to the store on 5/14/22 @ 11:15 / 11:20PM behind several cars. I arrived to the window at 11:29PM When it was my turn to order to be informed by the girl working that Starbucks was already closed. I proceed to ask what time they close. And was told at 11:30PM. I told her it was 11:29PM. She proceeds to tell me they are closed and that they have many things to do and cannot help me. I then proceed to tell her I had been waiting in the drive thru for 10-15 min just to be told I cannot be helped / that I had just pulled up at 11:30Pm. I then proceed to walk out and speak with Juan the shift supervisor . He then yells at my girlfriend and acts aggressive with her.
Dear Starbucks, I would like to make a suggestion. When you no longer have an item in stock please let customers know. Instead of giving them a different item they didn’t order. It’s happened to me a couple of times where someone goes picks up my order. An the item I ordered is not the one I receive. I would prefer you told the person picking up orders the item is not available. Instead of giving them something else. -Thank you
Disappointed.i ordered a large coffee plain, no cream no sugar at the walk up area. I waited ten minutes when common sense says you could have fulfilled the order within 1 minute including time at the register for payment. This makes no sense and clearly the training is very inefficient if you do can't deduce that you lost a customer for the bread and butter ...meaning the drink that staple item they are known for....coffee!!!!!! (I exclude snobby drinks or special requests) just a cup of coffee plain. 10 minutes to get it. Not going back. Tia sierra $1.00 more coffee is served hot, promptly and a better quality of beans are used .... In and out Under 1 minute for a plain cup of coffee
Stopped by this location today and I regret my visit entirely. Waste of money and horrible service. The barista taking my order had a horrible attitude. On top of that my cold brew tasted watered down and they put so much ice in my son’s Acai refresher that he only got about 3 sips out of it. I was seriously disappointed with the service here. I’ve visited numerous Starbucks across all of NoCal and have never had such horrible service. The only reason I’m giving it a star is because the line was short and they’ve been insanely long lately. The staff there would definitely benefit from additional training.
Has got to be the slowest Starbucks in LA. Waited over 10 minutes for a simple Caramel Frappe with 5 employees inside. I don't recommend this location to anyone! Horrible service.
This starbucks takes too long and i was waiting 25 minutes yesterday to get told that they would no longer serve anyone when me and about 6 other people who had been waiting for a long time got told to leave. Horrible service by the manager ANA! And her attitude was the worst letting us know to leave the premises. I took my business to tierra mia and had my delicious coffee in less than 8 minutes. And bug difference in the staffs personality. Dont go to this starbucks, i recommend you go to a different location or to tierra mia
I’m a huge member of Starbucks I’ve never waited more than 20 mins for a mobile order after ordering prior to arriving. I arrived to pick up my mobile order and I still had to wait over 20 mins to pick up my order!!!
Customer service at this location is always awful, drinks never look like the picture. I order 6 shots and it still taste like milk. I normally get balck coffee and even that comes out wrong sometimes lol, like how. Even thats a difficult to master apprently. It tatse super sweet at times and at times it taste like straight black coffee. They always do the drinks different here. Starbucks should really invest in robots. They got potential with their creations. Some people working for them are ruining that.
I ordered my drink and payed for extra boba. I noticed that they didn’t add the extra boba because I have order this drink now everyday for a few days now. I told the person that was working there ( Federico) his response was very nonchalant. Basically like he didn’t care. Of course there’s never a manager available to fix the problem.

Why even have the mobile app for this location? Every time I order it takes them 15-20 minutes past the app ready time to serve your drink regardless if there’s no other customers waiting. I would understand if they’re busy but no.
I asked for a peppermint white hot choclate and got a peppermint white mocha when i ordered that exactly and it showed on the screen whoch made my head hurt and i could not sleep and my stomach started hurting since coffee hurts me so i ordered a hot chocolate so much for nothing.

I’ve ordered from this location multiple times because it’s not far from where I live and it’s on the way to my job but I’m just giving up not going to order from here anymore it’s always something wrong with my order and it’s not because they are busy because I’ve ordered different times and different days I don’t know if they don’t care or not well trained but this location it’s horrible from now on will be just getting my order from Tierra Mia since it’s almost next to it . It’s just very disappointing but I can’t keep throwing my money away anymore
This entire Starbucks team working the afternoon of 8/22/25 was extremely unprofessional. The male at the window couldn’t even acknowledge me as a customer because he was too busy carrying on conversations with his coworkers while serving. Ignoring customers at the window is flat-out rude and completely unacceptable. This team clearly needs serious customer service training. Never again.

I don understand why they are so good at getting the drinks wrong. I’ve never had this kind of experiences in any Starbucks except this place. It’s like u ordered A and u clarified that it’s A right? And the employee proceed to say yes it’s B and handed u the wrong drink and u supposed to accept it.
Super unprofessional. I went today with my friends and the lady who was working DTO, the Drive-Thru, was so rude to us. The double-smoked bacon we ordered had no bacon whatsoever, but we didn't feel like complaining. I ordered a venti iced macchiato and paid for it when she gave me a grande, I asked nicely if I could get the venti since that's what I ordered. She said "we can't do that", but every Starbucks I've been to has very politely said yes or said I could pay the difference to change the size. I tried to explain that I paid for the venti and she rudely points at the sticker and says "You see how it says grande here? That means you ordered a grande okay? Goodbye." No words, I didn't even feel like arguing after feeling disrespected so it's disappointing to say that I am done with Starbucks. 0/10 experience, nobody deserves to be spoken like that.
I have been coming to this Starbucks for SEVERAL YEARS!! Yea! It's a hit and miss... but EVERYTIME Kevin is there I get my drink right! Other than that my drink is awful. I have get a remake or just chalk it up. But today was the last straw! I had ordered a Doppio in a Venti Cup over ice with Cherry topping and Cherry cold foam on the side and some egg white bites. I was given a total of 10.95 at the screen and when I pull up it's now 13.85 I believe. I asked why was it that much? What did I order? I asked for my receipt and they added a kids milk!!! I asked why are you adding a kids milk? The manager stated that that was the cold foam!!! I told her 4 dollars for some cold foam???? She said YES! I gave her her cold foam and asked for my money back! THIS IS INSANE!!!! It's already over priced and now you want to add to it? Because of employees like this Starbucks gets lawsuits!!! Corporate needs to do something about this place!
So to begin with, the customer service is really awful here. I’ve been here a more than a few times now, and even the managers are rude as you try to explain why you’re asking for another drink! So I have to often go to another Starbucks (the one on Atlantic and Clara is great!). I don’t mind paying whatever amount of money for my drink, as long as I enjoy it! My drink is just green milk! Has no taste! And to continue…. The people at the window don’t even greet you or say thank you, nothing! They just handout your drink and they turn around! This has been by far the worse Starbucks I’ve ever been to, and mind you, I go to Starbucks everyday day!!!!!
