This is my go to restaurant when I don't know exactly what I want to eat. I've been coming here for years and the service is always great and the food is consistent along with being huge portions. The wait time at peak hours are never that bad and other times you're seated immediately. We've tried a few of the breakfast dishes as well as lunch an dinner items and it never disappoints. my go-to are usually chicken quesadilla and wings.

I've been going here since I was young still the same great feeling. Today I ordered a Ice cream Sunday. It was perfect It came with whipped cream cherries sprinkles,chocolate syrup nuts, chocolate chips and all 3 flavors of ice cream strawberry Vanilla chocolate.

I've only ordered twice now but I really enjoyed their MASSIVE pancakes!! The French toast was also delicious, but I'm more of a pancake fan. I've also had their omelettes and they've both been large and delicious! Both orders also arrived on the earlier end of the estimated time of delivery, which was lovely.

I love this diner ❤️ Very clean & friendly staff. No matter what time of day I visit food is always fresh & never a long wait either...My fav dish is the stuffed lobster, mashed potatoes & creamy spinach. Who knew the best lobster can come from the diner !!

The service is great, the pancakes are to die for and the coffee ☕ ia nice. I wanted my eggs over easy, they came out nice and hot and cooked exactly how I wantes them. I would definitely recommend this spot.

Huge menu, fresh food, incredible service ⭐️ Our table of 5 had to wait a little while for a seat on a Sunday afternoon because it was so busy here. Obviously a local favorite. My burger was so delish. Salad was fresh. And the service was above and beyond expectation. The menu is extensive; what you would expect at a diner. Hard to choose what to eat! Great range of options for everyone. Vegan friendly options with the veggie wrap or platter.

Overall great place, my steak was a little under-cooked for a "well done" but everything else was great.

They can do a little better with the Tv suitation, ( 3 very small tv's with the captions going, but if your facing the other way, you are out of luck ) but the service was quick & and the coffee was freshly brewed. Our waiter, " Roy " was on point with the service.

Omg idk where to begin.... before we even got to the second glad door the host was coming to seat us with menus. Very polite. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted very fresh water and ice with napkins. Very attentive. Our waiter came over and took our orders. Coffee came quick. We ordered French toast deluxe with eggs and cheese, cheddar cheese grits, and extra pancakes. These French toast was the best French toast I ever tasted. They were toasted to a crisp so perfectly and warm and just right in the middle. The flavor was hitting. This chef understood the assignment. The presentation was superb👌 🙌 👏

This place should receive more credit than they have. Cannot complaint about one (1) thing... -Food was delicious and came out pretty fast. There was no grease, not overcooked, not salty but with great flavor. -Coffee was just like a good diner coffee. -Service was the best thing about this place. The waffle was also pretty big because he had to take a break while eating it 😂 Our total was about $30 and we were in there for about an hour. THE WAITER: Nicest man alive 12/10 would recommend. He checked up on us and was there when we needed him. Even though he started helping other tables towards the end of our meal, it did not affect his attention towards us. He also answered our questions and was overall a kind human. It's the typical diner but there's a thing going on. Friendly and connected. I really like it here. All races and classes here; every single one felt welcomed and cared for. It's a new go to for me. So glad I came across it for this weekend's meeting.

Let's be real, this isn't a Michelin star restaurant. You can't just waltz in here at 3am and expect a perfect gyro or shrimp scampi. If you're coming in late then it would be best to stick to waffles, a burger or something else that's simple. The staff are very patient and reflect the kindness that you show them.

After arriving at JFK very late, and not having been served any food on the flight, I was absolutely famished. Since it was already past midnight when I walked into the Atlantic Diner, I figured I’d just have something simple: a couple of eggs, some toast, and bacon. To my surprise, a massive plate landed on our table (see photo). It came with six strips of bacon, a generous serving of country potatoes, two slices of toast, and what was supposed to be two scrambled eggs, but I’m pretty sure it was more like five! OMG, it was a huge breakfast. Everything was cooked perfectly, and the service was excellent. I definitely plan to go back while I’m in New York.

The Turkey Burger was a bit of a letdown. While it looked appetizing and was a decent size, the patty was too dry, making the overall experience less enjoyable. Maybe fresh ground Turkey can be used instead of ore made burger patties since you can't eat this medium. The Steak and Eggs was excellent! The steak was cooked perfectly medium well—juicy, tender, and well-seasoned. Paired with eggs cooked to my preference, it made for a hearty, satisfying meal. This is a dish I would definitely recommend. The cheeseburger was fantastic. It was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions on a soft bun made every bite delicious. It’s exactly what you want from a classic diner cheeseburger. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to accommodate requests, making the dining experience even better!

I have been coming to this diner since 2003 and it has been nothing short of quality and providing a reliably consistent meal every time. Pregaming before a night out, brunch on Sunday with family and friends or afties when you break night. - 4.5 /5

Very nice diner with parking at the lower level (valet options as well). Very friendly service and hearty food. Many menu options. I've been here twice and each time I enjoyed the food. The breading for the fried calamari was a little salty for my taste, and a piece of the chicken in the chicken and waffles were a bit overcooked. I recommend checking here out. This is your typical diner with a full menu. I usually come for breakfast and have been coming here for years. The breakfast is pretty good, and it’s a huge serving. A few months ago, I was lucky to have Susan as my server. She is super sweet and friendly and excellent at her job! Now, I always ask to be seated in her section. They also have a free parking garage downstairs.

Seating and service were prompt and professional. The menu spans the gamut in typical diner fashion. One of the views looks across Queens Boulevard. As the people of Queens parade by in pursuit of work, pleasure and the mundane tasks of life, I realize how much they are a Cross section of the world. Hundreds of languages, races, nationalities, cultures and subcultures.... crammed together in the small space that is New York City; rubbing shoulders throughout the day, everyday - and living in peace. No need for government mandated equity and inclusion. The people of Queens have been doing that successfully, naturally and peaceably for 100 years.... Top-down intrusion in the name of inclusion never works anyway. My cheese omelet arrives and is good but not fantastic. But truth be told: I didn't pay for fantastic. A large 4 egg cheese omelette Was only $12.95. So who's complaining? After thinking about it, My third time here I asked the chef if he could cook the eggs in butter for me instead of oil. And good sport that he is, he did. And it made all the difference much tastier. Thanks Eddie!! The cheesecake is amazing. The slice is beefy in size and creamy in taste. It doesn't have that cheesy flavor that a lot of cheesecake does. I've been eating cheesecake for a few decades and this is the best I've had. Even better than juniors in Brooklyn ... The menu is broad enough to support several return visits and I will be making at least some of them.

Ask for the specials when you get in there as they might forget to tell you they have it going on. Most everything is over priced for a diner. Like the $4.95 for a hand full of blueberries. Added: a photo and - I did eat one egg and english muffin, none of the sauce or the feta cheese. I had put it all to the side of the plate. Unfortunately, I only took one photo. I had asked the manager for half price not full price discount but he gave me full. As expressed below, he was nice about it and I am thankful. I give them 3 stars because they refunded me the main dish that I ordered, which honestly was the worst egg dish I've ever had in my life without exaggeration. I sincerely think management needs to reevaluate their egg dishes, particularly the one I will describe under. Service was kind; the server tried to accommodate me. Manager was nice too and respected how terrible their egg dish was. Right now, I've forgotten the name but it's the egg dish that comes with a cheese-like sauce (at least in this place__other places dont have so much yellow cheese added to the sauce) , boiled egg, english muffin on the bottom, and feta cheese, which was interesting. This was not my first time having this dish, and typically, I've enjoyed it. However, their yellow sauce is absolutely horrible. I can't even put words into it past, horrible.

I've probably been here three times in my lifetime and the food was always average for your typical diner. Most recently, I got a philly cheese steak with fries and a brownie sundae on UberEATS. For one, the cheese steak came on a roll instead of a hero which did surprise me but it wasn't the end of the world. The cheese steak itself was very average at best though, as it didn't taste much like a cheesesteak. In fact, the sandwich really didn't taste like much at all if I'm being honest. It was basically a roast beef sandwich with cheese and onions which I actually wouldn't have minded too much if it had more taste. The fries that came with it were pretty good though. The brownie sundae that I ordered was great though, no complaints about that. Prices are average as well, definitely not too bad.

I enjoyed my visit here. Overall, the restaurant was neat and clean and well-maintained. My food was hot and fresh and enjoyable. I deducted stars because... 1) The parking lot is a mess. It looks like it is being repaired, but for my visit, it is a disaster. 2) Cleaning supplies left out in the hallway in customers' view. 3) My drink sat empty on my table until after our meal was finished. 4) I was disappointed to learn that EVERY refill for soda is another $3.00. Overall, it was a nice experience.

When I bought this to the attention of the waiter, his response was “ I only serve the food. “ He said he’d bring the manager who never came. No offer to take anything off the $82 bill. I paid at the counter and said I wouldn’t pay to for service and food. Cashier turned away completely indifferent. I used to take clients and public officials to eat here. NEVER AGAIN!!! Classic on Jamaica and Esquire on Woodhaven will graciously have my business from now on.

Service was horrible, no class no kindness, tone in voice was un appropriate!! Even my son said, U need to b in the best behavior if u want to have a business. That says a lot! Ok, I understand it’s father’s day! Waiting time 30 minutes or more for a table okay fine i understand. But being seated for over 1 hour with a baby waiting on our order is insaneeeeee. Order took almost 90 minutes to arrive. Upon arrival, the food was cold and the order was wrong. We were only able to eat the burger, threw the rest of the food in the trash, in addition to being cold it just didn't taste good. After I contacted Grubhub for a partial refund for the missing food, I got a phone call back from the restaurant, the woman who called me was very rude because I contacted Grubhub and hung up on me. Mind you, they called me, this issue was over with as far as i was concerned, I called back to speak to a manager and he just didn't care. Won't ever go back or order from here again.

I feel as a customer being professional like 5 star expensive restaurant That I have been to, the servers/waitress would inform their customers that the bar is closing at a certain. Me as a customer if I’m with someone at an establishment I’m not really paying attention to the time. I went to the manager and simply explained this politely. His response was I don’t have to. Honestly, if I could give this place negative stars,I would. We went in for a sit down experience only to be turned away by the host who I presume is the owner. Irregardless of how miserable you are and need to pass that unto others. His attitude towards PAYING CUSTOMERS is astonishing as well. We would have sat and spent over $200 on drinks and would have left a huge tip for the waiters (Miguel, who were very kind). Instead we got take out, which was sub par. The waffles (I got the chicken and waffles) were soggy and the chicken was bone in. What type of establishment serves their chicken (with waffles) bone in???? And have the nerve to charge $22 including tax?? My boyfriend's burger was burnt like a hockey puck. We threw it in the garbage. It was inedible. The host who I can only presume to be the owner seems like a miserable man. Keep carrying that same attitude with customers and you will be running this place to the ground. This will be reported to the BBB. Horrible, tasteless and very neglectful customer service. Will never be carrying my business here again and I'll be sure to spread this through word of mouth.

Just like any other diner, it does not specialize in any specific food so therefore everything equally tastes okay and/or bland. However, the service sucked. I feel that management doesn’t stress allergy cautions enough because the waitress that served us didn’t seem to like the fact that we had to send our ice cream back because there were nuts on it. When I ordered the ice cream sundae I specifically said no peanuts because my boyfriend reminds me since he’s the one with the allergy and the waiter something after my request but I didn’t hear her so I just ignored it. Couple minutes a later a man gives us our sundae and it has peanuts on it so I wait till the waitress passes us to tell her if I can get another dish. She rudely replies and consists that I ASKED for peanuts. I did not and clearly it was a misunderstanding so I let it go. She leaves and we assume she’s getting us another plate however the old one is still on our table. 15 minutes pass and she is walking around serving others but I do not bother cause i’m sure she’s busy. She finally comes up to us and asks us what’s wrong and I repeat myself stating that my boyfriend is allergic and we asked for another plate. I think she thought we were just going to remove the peanuts??? (Ppl die from allergy reactions btw) Anyway, she rudely drops the plate on our table and we just eat it and end up dipping right after because I wasn’t having it. I’m very friendly to customer service always so that caught me off guard but customer service should always be alerted of the seriousness of allergies.

Spent at least 500 or more in the past 2 or 3 months here. Didn't know how bad it was until I called myself and tried ordering. The first time was late, some guy who obviously doesn't like his job picks up. He tells me to go kick rocks and slams the receiver down. Okay, no problem. Tried to order today! My mother calls. Before she could even finish saying our address, he screamed at her, same guy might i add, and slams the receiver down. Saying they can not deliver here, which is lies because they have plenty of times and their drivers have gotten some good tips. Talked to the manager. Useless. Unprofessional. Do you wanna get some food quick from people who don't care? This is your spot. My advice, go somewhere where they actually give a shit.

This place is such TRASH. Aside from the extremely rude and nasty “woman” taking orders the food was straight garbage. We ordered linguine pasta, spinach and artichoke dip, grilled cheese sandwiches with tomatoe and cheese quesadilla. The cheese quesadilla was small and tasted and looked like they slapped sliced cheese in a tortilla, the grilled cheese was missing the tomatoes we asked for, the linguine pasta had no taste, they literally boiled pasta and threw it in a container and the spinach and artichoke dip was extremely salty. We spent 80 something dollars on trash. Extremely disappointed with this place and will not be going back! Save your money, although we’re going through a pandemic, it’s not worth it.

Came here with my wife told have breakfast and the waitress Lia B, overcharged us. My wife, her breakfast was a dollar more & my breakfast was $4/more. When I called I spoke to the manager to let him know. Puts a bad taste in my mouth after this experience though. Not cool at all. Everything is already expensive and to do this, not very nice. I should have doubled check or remembered the prices myself but you just don't remember to do that till later. So beware. She's very nice & friendly too. Making that extra money for the boss isn't nice.

Ordered from here yesterday had it delivered through uber eats...I checked off priority so it got here pretty quick. However the food was not what I expected! I literally just gave birth and was looking to pig out just a little lol yeah that didn't go as planned. My fiance ordered a Chavo burger the avocado & the lettuce was so gross looked super old 🤢 the fries were super hard.. I'm just so upset I ordered the chicken fingers it was okay but they were over crispy as well & I didn't even get the honey mustard sauce, idk but I love the honey mustard sauces at a diner! It was just an overall not a good experience....

I used to come here when I was a teenager and when I came back to the old neighborhood I decided to try out the old Diner for nostalgia sake. I was greatly disappointed. My Brisket was dry and tasteless. I had to add salt and pepper to help it and that did not help. My potatoes were cold and the Broccoli was just as bad. The ONLY saving Grace was my server Angela. She handled everyone in the spot by herself that night with style and Grace. She was absolutely amazing. Without her I would have given this place a negative star.

Wish I could give less than one star, honestly. To start- The food over all was bad. Our server would disappear for periods of time, so I felt uncomfortable even addressing the food issue. A different server stepped in to remove the plate photographed below. The meat was burnt In some areas and raw in others. The potatoes were ice cold! The broccoli was drenched in butter and hot on one side, cold on the other. The coffee was very watery. The drinks were not made properly, and we tried multiple drinks! The apps were super disappointing. The “Buffalo wings” were just peppered wings with no sauce. The chicken fingers were dry. And, to make matters worse, the bill included an automatic 18% tip! Definitely never going back. Absolutely would NOT recommend to anyone!!!!!!!

Just called to order food and the guy on the phone got upset after a couple of questions, told me that he was busy and so I said ill call back. Guess they dont like taking orders over the phone. Thanks but no thanks. They are too busy for the customers.

This was a place we have been going to for years and the quality of the food took a nose dive, while prices have sky rocketed. It is just canned, frozen food thats reheated. The staff however were wvery kind and attentive

The food here is ok but the customer service is terrible I've been coming here for a while but definitely has declined over the years. I called to place a pick up order. The girl that answered the phone was confused about what I was ordering clearly but didn't state that and the gave the phone to someone else who was the manger which I then had to repeat my order , after I asked the manger to repeat the order back to me he told me " I got your order" and the laughed I'm confused on what's funny when I'm trying to confirm my order is right so I won't have any issue. Then when I came in the restaurant I addressed him about his customer service and he's telling me how he has 9 people he has to attend to as if I'm not a paying customer just like the people that are dining in, These are the things that push customers away from supporting these establishments and management definitely isn't setting the example for staff.

Service was awful. Absolutely distasteful. Our server Mary was not intent on giving patience, not speaking up and thus getting irritated when WE couldn’t hear HER, the menu apparently is not written correctly if I can order a hot chocolate but you can only get one size unless it’s takeout-WHICH IT DOESN’T SPECIFY, made a comment on the food we were ordering in comparison to our group, never checked on us, ignored me the first time I tried to let her know we needed the bill so I needed to try again-EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS LOOKING DIRECTLY AT US, and lastly I had to go up to pay the bill when usually someone comes to handle the transaction. As a former waitress and someone who has worked other customer service jobs, this was not it. I would 100% not operate like that and have never. The food was not as great as it was last week, either. The service alone will not allow me to return after being a frequent visitor of 8 years! Hard pass for me.

We were driving over 2.5 hours and decided to stop here because the 4.2-star rating seemed promising, but this ended up being one of the worst diner experiences I’ve ever had. The food was cold, lacked seasoning, and overall tasted old. The iced coffee tasted like it had been sitting for days, and the clam chowder was extremely thick more like pudding than soup and also tasted overcooked and stale. My home fries were burnt, the bacon tasted like microwave-ready bacon (Oscar Mayer style), and the “ham” they served was literally a thin slice of deli sandwich ham instead of a proper breakfast ham. For the price they charge, the quality was unacceptable. My simple breakfast two eggs, a meat choice, home fries, and toast was $19, and it wasn’t even worth half that. The only positive part of the visit was our waitress. She was lovely, attentive, and genuinely kind. Unfortunately, the food itself was awful, and they seriously need to do better, especially given their prices.

I ordered shrimp and scallop scampi. I had one bite of the scallop and it was spoiled. I then proceeded to smell it and it taste like ammonia. I decided to go to the manager and speak to him very respectfully. He went and got the food then ate it and said there's nothing wrong with it. He started yelling and yelling me I don't know food I'm the type to order a bacon egg and cheese. Which was very racist for no apparent reason.

I really wonder how this place has so much 5 star reviews to be honest because my one star review is only because it's the lowest I'm allowed to give on Google. I decided to go to this place because it's in my neighborhood and the icing on the cake was that I went here for my birthday to have dinner. To start with, it seemed as though the waitress was trying to rush us to place an order, however it was a lot of us and they have a big menu so obviously it would take a while. I ordered the half chicken with stuffing, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The apps we got were calamari, Buffalo wings and mozzarella sticks. The calamari was stiff and chewy, Buffalo wings was literally dry, fried wings and the mozzarella sticks were very salty. The mashed potatoes were tasteless and the broccoli had no taste as well. My brother ordered the steak well done but it was burnt, hard and tasteless. Unfortunately, it seems as though none of their food has any taste. But here's the best part, when my food arrives on the table, it has an egg shell and a carrot root in it. I requested the manager and tried to explain to him that my family and I want a refund on my plate as well as their plates seeing that they didn't start to eat yet. My family honestly were not going to eat their food after seeing what was in my plate as they are obviously prepared in the same kitchen. He immediately gets angry and starts quarreling. He honestly should learn some manners, especially being the manager of a FOOD place with the fault being on HIS side. We grew tired of the arguing and soon settled the bill, a whopping $200 and yet none of us even got to eat and we surely were not going to carry home any of that food. I honestly wish I could've given this place negative stars especially because of the nasty attitude the owner has. This was the absolute worst birthday ever.
