Great breakfast after a long night shift
I have not been here for over 8 months. I was great by my favorite waitress Mia who was able to remember my picky order. I just love this location. The cook is great as well!!!!
The best Waffle House period!!!!! It's one of my favorite places to eat. The food and the staff are great. Everyone here knows me by name and always make me feel like family and welcomed.
Mr. Jeremiah went above and beyond for my service. Good music, good atmosphere and good service all the way around if I could give him more than 5 stars I would. He’s an amazing server. I would definitely come back and I would definitely recommend to any of my friends beautiful smile by the way. Thank you we will be back soon.
Jeremiah was in grill that day due to a shortage and I can say I’ve never had a better made plate from a WF than that day. Food was delicious and perfect, staff was pulling together to get orders out and food was on point. Place was clean and vibe was grillin, chillin, and munchin! Much appreciated trying to recall my waitress name think was gabby short was holding it down as well. I love the effort they made to decorate for Halloween. Well done!
Wife and I had it after church so there was a small wait to be seated but the staff kept us updated on the timeline. Our waiter Gerald was super polite and checked in with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 experience!
Waffle House will forever be my favorite breakfast spot! Be prepared to wait a little bit to be sat. It’s a first come first serve. Don’t get impatient with the staff as they can’t rush anyone to hurry and eat. If the wait is too long then find another location or come at a different time. Their all star breakfast is the way to go!!
Tara you brought so much joy to our wonderful experience at the Waffle House!!!! My husband and I frequent this location often, but the service has always been mediocre. However, yesterday was amazing!! We walked in and the only person that acknowledged us was Tara! Everyone else looked the other way hoping we didn't sit in their section. All of the tables were dirty, but the restaurant was empty...weird huh? I know! Anyway, Tara invited us in, had the table cleaned, took our entire order, cooked our food, made sure we had everything we needed, and made sure our whole experience was like no other!!! We ordered and Tara cooked it to perfection: 2 Well done Pecan Waffles Scrambled Eggs Grits Bacon Philly Cheese Steak w/bacon Chilli Hashbrowns Tara is a true example of what customer service should and use to be. She was trying to explain how to do things the right way to the younger employees and they were being extremely rude to her in front of us and the other guest that arrived after us. Waffle House brand and all locations you need some one like Tara training your employees how to be extremely customer centric. I go to some locations and the kids are on their phones, eating, and drinking behind the counters...just a mess. Great Job Tara continue to be Great and you are appreciated!!!
The Chef was excellent, the atmosphere was friendly and ,welcoming. The restroom was clean and, had a nice smelling soap 🧼. The food was good . They didn't just stand around they were busy cleaning.
This would be the perfect Waffle House but it seems as if they all have a problem with horsefly's. Every Waffle House I've been to has had a horsefly problem, maybe it could become their new mascot lol. But I already know what to expect and this location has the best staff, make great breakfast and will have me coming back to make a to go order almost every week. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of the main attraction, but worry not I'll be back here adding pictures.
I was craving eggs so I came here for a “quick” to go order for breakfast. As I was inside after placing my to go order it took about 15 minutes (wish it was faster) to get the order. Over all the breakfast was good, eggs were cooked right, the hash browns were my favorite, the bacon tasted a little funky so I didn’t eat it. But everything else was great! I’d come back for a $6 decent breakfast for sure.
The food is always good, but the customer service is always outrageous, mean mugging every single time I go there , and have to ask about 3 times for extra condiments, because they only give me 1 extra packet of ketchup like what am I going to do with that , and always with a attitude, sorry I'm a loyal paying customer, but food always good ...
I really want to like this location, but they keep giving me such poor service. I eat a Waffle House locations all over Texas and this one and Kuykendahl are the closest to my home. Today: I walk in and there’s somewhat of a hello. I sit at the bar top next to a young man and we have a nice conversation. A few minutes goes by and I still have not been spoken to. The young cook notices and did a great job of communicating to me and his waitress teammate. Waitress, with a horrible scowl on her face, took my drink order, brings it, and drops wet silverware in front of me. Few minutes goes by and she comes back to take my order. I start to give it and mid-sentence she walks off… No excuse me or pardon me or anything, and keep in mind she is still angry in her demeanor (?). She comes back and I give my order again. I have some specific requests on my food such as please cook the bacon medium because I don’t like it crunchy or burnt, and the request of a raisin bread… simple, right ? She never relayed the information to the cook. The bacon was overcooked for my liking & request, and the requested toast was wrong. A nice lady that just came on her shift, Edina or Anita, ended up taking over our exchanges from that point. The original gal the entire time myself & a couple of other people sitting at the bar kept slamming dishes and stuff around with the same angry look to her. This level of tension happened all the way to ring out. I’m not sure if she was just having a bad day or whatever. I never said anything about the food, but was disappointed. So I know it wasn’t me, but… Here we are :( I hope sharing this helps get the team some Guest Experience Training. I’ll try again in a few months and hope for a better experience. Pros: They did dress up their location with festive themes. The 2nd gal was nice and smiled a lot. Have a Blessed Day
Staff is pleasant and food is good. Please when it is slow spend some more time cleaning. I owned a restaurant and I would fire everyone if what has become normal here was seen under my ownership. Floors under the cooking line, space to the right of the fry top and walls behind the fry line are dirty. Appliance fronts have not been cleaned in awhile. When the kitchen is exposed to public view any spare moments should be spent cleaning. I have never received a meal here I did not like.
our first time there and will be our last time ... we met a friend there and it was different there .. normal WH's, they greet you with bubbly personalities, but not this one .. we sat down ... our server, Dwayne, came..told him that we were waiting for another person. no idea how long he has been employed there, but not bubbly at all, which we are used to at other WH's. ordered waffles / golden brown // they weren't 100% cooked . didn't want to return, so not sure how it should have been ordered. coffee was fair ..
I got a pick up order went all the way home and realized that I didn’t have 2 waffles and was missing a orange juice. I couldn’t get anyone on the phone so I went back to the restaurant. When I got there I explained what happened and they were rude! Insinuating that I ate it already. The only reason that it’s not a 1 star is because the food was great but everything else was an inconvenience.
We arrived a little after noon. As my fiancé and I were walking in, we saw a worker smoking. We then sat down and had to wait for our waitress(the smoker) to come in to help us. She took our order, but was not paying attention and got our order wrong. The music was so loud that our ears were hurting. There were 2 other guests sitting at a table and had to wave his arms multiple times to get anyone’s attention. There were only 4 of us guests in the restaurant. There were a total of 4 people working. Please do better! We live close to this location and visit on occasion. We have never had such a poor experience.
I ordered food to go not thinking there was a 20% fee I thought I was being over charged the manager called out the poor waitress in front of everyone and I’m like embarrassed for her for a mistake I made not reading the sign on menu. I just thought it was way over the top and the manager could have done a way better job handling the situation. The food is horrible. No mayo on my burger plus I wanted diced ham and not onions on hash brown. The waffle barely cooked. The bacon tasted like the cheapest bacon from a hospital cafeteria!!!! The sausage same way!!!!!! The worst Waffle House I have ever been to!!!!
I ordered online at 12:30PM came in at 12:45 and order wasn't ready. Fast forward to 1:01PM I'm asking about my food they're like oh it's ready..Nobody told me it was ready then they proceed to tell me they are out of grits my whole reason for ordering was because of the grits. Im never greeted at the door staff plays all day I will not be back to this location
More like “Awfull” house in terms of service! As part of a 5-top on a Monday morning at 9:00, where 75% of the table were open and staffed with 5, it should not take 20 minutes to receive the 1st plate of food. I state “the 1st plate” because from the time the 1st plate went down on the counter, it took another 20 minutes for the last plate to be dropped. In addition, the orders were either incorrect or incomplete or both. In addition to the in addition, there were two other tables that the same server screwed up or was incomplete. Two tables were dirty when we arrived with people waiting and it took over 15 min to begin cleaning the first one. A couple walked out while we were waiting for our breakfast to arrive. One of us asked for more coffee and the server picked up the mug and brought it to the coffee rather than the coffee to the guest…a big no-no. While eating, the cook actually came over to ask if we wanted more coffee, we said we do, and then proceeds to say, “Okay, let me start a new pot.” Whaaat? Coffee should be available at all times!!! When some of the food arrived the server actually asked who got what and proceeded to handed it to us rather than place it on the counter. As far as the food is concerned, we didn’t have any issues with flavor, however one in our party, who had to wait 15 minutes more from the time of the 1st part of the order to the last…and the eggs and hash browns were cold. So, if you like growing old sitting at a Waffle House counter or plain ol don’t care about service, then this is the spot for you. Buyer Beware.
I have never had service this rude. My family and I walked in, there were four open and dirty tables. No one would acknowledge us, so we sat at a dirty table. When we sat down someone finally acknowledged us but telling us to get up and wait and we couldn’t sit there until they cleaned it. They cleaned it but never acknowledged us again saying you can sit now. Eventually, we just took a seat there having to assume now we could sit down. After that, we sat there for almost 20 minutes, and this complete ignoring of us continued. No one would take our drink or food order. It wasn’t like they were not aware of us, its Waffle House, all 8 employees were within 10-20’ of us. The ones I could get eye contact with or to speak to us would just tell us they can’t help us or take our order and that someone else needed to but they didn’t know where that person was. Needless to say more, we walked out after 20 minutes of this. Typically Waffle House is a favorite of my daughter and I but I’m questioning now if I will ever go back to this location.
