The ceviche was fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced—bright citrus dancing against the subtle sweetness of the seafood. The yellowfin tuna carpaccio was a work of art: thinly sliced, delicately seasoned, and drizzled with a light dressing that enhanced rather than masked its buttery texture. The surprise standout was the smoked flying fish mousse—a creative and intensely flavorful nod to the island’s national fish. It was airy yet rich, with just the right amount of smokiness, served with crisp toast that complemented each bite. For mains, we tried the fish of the day, which was grilled to perfection with a light herb butter and paired with seasonal vegetables that celebrated the local produce. The local tuna Indochine—seared and served over a fragrant bed of basmati rice with an Asian-inspired sauce—was nothing short of stunning. The fusion of flavors was bold yet balanced, and the portioning generous without being overwhelming. The ambiance at LeShack is intimate and relaxed, with a touch of rustic charm. FABULOUS! Go out of your way to eat here. Great atmosphere, fabulous food, excellent service.Thank you Chanel! The flying fish mousse is creamy and tasty Seafood pasta was delicious,tomato sauce had no acidity , almost a touch of sweet. Amberjack was perfect. We are definitely coming back!

Jennifer and Susan were the best on the island, serving us with perfect grace and familiarity. The food was excellent; mussels were on special and were the highlight of a wonderful meal. My wife had the catch of the day, amberjack filet, and could not be more satisfied. If you're in the neighborhood, please enjoy a meal here, and try the melonbasiltini.

Loved everything! Started with the grilled octopus and crab cake. Perfection. We had the burgers and frites. Excellent. Topped it off with the Banana Explosion. Best meal we have had since arriving in Barbados. We are returning for dinner on our last 2 nights. Can’t think of a better place to eat. If you are staying at the Crane, just steps away. The restaurants on the resort don’t come close to this one.

The owner, Annalisa was absolutely accomodating for my brother-in-law's 60th birthday gathering. The staff were professional and engaging. The food was flavored well and the portions were sufficient.

We had our best eating out experience at Le Shack J’Adore in Barbados. We were greeted by the owner, our server was friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. We were given new cutlery for each course and all of it was DELICIOUS. Our food included warm French bread, salads, fresh cut frites and catch of the day (barracuda) topped off with fresh bread pudding and homemade ice cream with rum raisin sauce for a decadent dessert. Even the cappuccino was excellent. If you have a chance, try this restaurant, it’s worth the visit.

To all the staff and ownership, THANK YOU! From the first time we walked in, it was inviting and incredibly professional with a great laid back atmosphere. We ate there 4/7 nights and got to know most of the staff a little more personally than normal and everyone was amazing on the highest level. The food is just out of this world good. It left me speechless. The level of welcomeness is on another level here. It’s like being with your best friends and family all at once. Do yourself a favour and check this place out. It’s a very short walk from the gate of The Crain and staff often will pick you up depending on location. Thank you a million times again chefs. Merci beaucoup, jusqu'à ce qu'on se revoie.

Worst pics I have ever taken, but the food was perfect and our waitress, Indie was amazing! Also, our bartender was funny, fast, and kind! We had perfect suggestions for barracuda ceviche. an amazing tuna indochine, and Bajan skillet that was out of this world!

Ok…..5 Star restaurant within 5 minutes of The Crane Resort! If you go to Barbados, this is a must! The chef comes around and takes time to talk to every guest. He has an amazing kitchen crew and front of the house crew that are amazing. Ok, let’s talk Food. Hands down best Carpaccio I have ever put in my mouth! I had the PorkChops and they were so good, I will be making another trip to get some more of those. My wife had the special of the day, Filet mignon, I had to try it, melted in my mouth with a mushroom sauce and sweet onions, that was amazing! For desert we had the Banana Explosion. Can’t tell you what the explosion part was (you will have to go try it for yourself to find that out), but I will say it was an explosion of taste! Definitely the best option on the East Coast of Barbados, this place offers the best service and ambiance on the entire island. The owner is incredibly cheerful and hospitable, making it my favorite spot in Barbados.

Can't say enough positive. Perhaps our favorite Barbados restaurant. Family owned, owners and staff are wonderful. Great communication on the reservation. Fantastic food and cocktails. The French influence made such a difference. Not much to look at from the outside, but ambience was fantastic inside. We returned several more night for cocktails.. Right across from Crane resort.

This place was such a delight. The food was excellent and Service was superb. The owner picked us up from the crane and returned us after dinner. Our servers, Bradley and Susan, I cannot praise them enough. Please try this place out you won’t be disappointed.

What a find! Food selection and preparation is so creative and well done! Every staff member - Maria, Jennifer, Elvis, Tenisha, and the chef - were attentive, joyful, & brimming with energy. The chicken mousse was heaven. The eggplant gratin was very fresh & tender yet hearty. We did not have room for dessert 😢 - but plan to be back Monday night! Chef plans to open for brunch closer to the holidays 😍

Let’s start with the minute you park, easily I might add you meet Annalisa and her front of the house team. Smiles are beaming and you get such a warm and welcoming greeting you can not help but smile back. Again unassuming entrances in Barbados mean party in the back. In walks larger than life Chef Jean Jacques with again a huge smile. As a chef myself there is nothing I enjoy than when someone says, I trust you, cook for me. As I left my meal in the teams capable hands I was nothing but truly happy to be eating only provisions from the island with insanely delicious veg and fish. Everyone around the table was over joyed with their selections and being a group of sweet tooth’s we had it all. Cocktails perfect and wines excellent we happily made friends and went on our way. We started coming here since moving back to Barbados and wandering in one busy evening, to sit at the bar and watch the amazing staff serving a packed house. They found a late table for us, and our server, Shanell, was wonderfully attentive even though we were at the end of service. We ate and took no photos, but knew we would be back! Aaaaand here we are one week later, for my birthday with family; and again it was stellar. We had "too much choice dilemma"; but our server Jennifer helped us decide on the famous Le Shak burger, the perfectly cooked sirloin and mash, and one of the specials this evening, the roasted half duck. We washed it all down with wine, cocktails and mocktails , and finished with tarte tartin. Fabulous. And we remembered photos this time! 😁🫠

Great evening. Upon arrival greeted by the lovely friendly and professional staff to the smart rustic decor. Good menu selection. The tuna ta ta, snapper ceviche and tuna main was great. Service was very professional and efficient, couldn’t fault it. Nice touch where the owners and chef comes and checks in and especially when you get to talk French and Italian! Service was great, food was amazing! Definitely recommend the basilmelontini to cool you off on a hot day. Loved the ambiance, the music, the decor. The owner JJ is super friendly as well. Don’t miss out on this French-American restaurant which is a hidden gym.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant in Barbados twice. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious and exceeded our expectations. What truly made our visit special, though, was the exceptional service. From the owners to every member of the staff, everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You can really feel the passion and pride they have for what they do. A very special thank you to Chanelle, who took care of us during our visit. She was incredibly kind, professional, always with a smile and a positive attitude. Her service made our evening even more enjoyable and memorable. Wow ... Best meal we had on the island. We immediately made a reservation for the next day, and the owner graciously accommodated us! We started with the crab cake, goat cheese salad and yellow fin tuna. For dinner I had the ribeye (delicious) and my wife had the fillet. Dinner was keylime pie and bread pudding. The food was not on our plate long. Fantastic meal.

Went here for dinner it was very enjoyable. The chef and owners were very welcoming our main waitress Katrina and another couple of individuals who took care of the small details (food delivery “ we’re on point. What a treat ! Sadly learned of this place on my last day of vacation . I feel they get a lot of regulars as there were lots of hugs at the door . A good sign ! I enjoyed a coconut martini , a shrimp cocktail , lamb shank and chocolate mousse . Everything was impeccable . Quality of food , service and overall experience . Well done !

By far the best food in the whole of Barbados. I visited Champers , Paul Owens at the beach house, the tides and none could compare to the quality of food served at Le Shack.

This was the best dining experience we had in Barbados! The food was absolutely sensational. From the crab cake to the braised lamb, barracuda, and excellent desserts, we loved everything. And don’t even get me started on how great the service is, one of the owners even picked us up at our resort (The Crane) and offered to drive us back after when she saw us beginning to walk back (as I am visibly pregnant) such a kind woman! 10/10 recommend! So happy we dined here.

I don’t normally score a straight of 5 stars, but this was a wonderful experience of food, atmosphere and staff. I am reluctant to praise it so much - because I want it to be our little secret! Would we go again? Oh yes see you you tomorrow evening!

I don’t say this often as we are very picky and have traveled all over the Caribbean and Europe, but I truly give this restaurant 5 stars. From the minute we were picked up at the Crane to the time we were dropped off…everything was perfect. The service, the ambience, the drinks and the food were all amazing. We immediately made reservations for another night during our stay. Can’t wait to go back!

Epic. That’s the only word that truly fits. The entire experience was outstanding—from the owner being fully present and engaged, to the server, to the chef. The food, the plating, the presentation—everything was thoughtful, refined, and absolutely on point. A solid 5 out of 5. You can immediately feel the difference when an owner is hands-on and ensures the team understands that service comes first. As an entrepreneur who spends every day focused on serving clients, I deeply appreciate that level of care and intention. Thank you to the chef for the incredible food, and thank you to everyone who made our night truly epic.

Great place in St.Philip serving French Caribbean fusion. The menu is simple, well executed, and portions are great. The bread is divine, crunchy crust with fluffy inside. Had the fish mousse A+. Others went for their famous escargot - done in a creamy sauce rather than garlic herb butter. A++. I had the lamb shank which was lovely, rich and huge. Wish there was more roasted veggies with it. Drank beer but the cocktails were good and service was humming even at the last service - could see they were exhausted but stayed friendly and professional throughout. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Lovely restaurant with great food and good ambience. Food is French Caribbean and Creole mix. Dishes were tasty and very delicious. They have a great wine, liquor and cocktail menu. The decor is nice with a cute trendy but cozy romantic vibe yet friendly. The restaurant is family run and the service staff were friendly and attentive. We truly enjoyed our dinner experience here. Highly recommend it. This restaurant is located right next to the Crane resort and is 35 minutes from Bridgetown and about 20 minutes from the airport. The restaurant offers free pick up and drop off from the lobby area of the Crane resort.

Had an amazing experience here last week. The ambience and decor is amazing and presents an upmarket feel with an island twist. The food was absolutely fantastic and the menu offers a great selection. The highlight for us was our waitress Tanesha who was hilarious, attentive and friendly throughout our entire time there. Would highly recommend visiting Le Shack and will definitely be back again.

If you don't do it you will miss something very good on Barbados. If you missed it you will not know what you missed. A great fusion of Caribbean French cuisine with a little touch of Asian taste in combination of a great choice of international wines. For the very charming and attending service we will give 7 out of 5 stars. Someone took his time to motivate and train the whole team to feel a very warm welcome to all them guest's. Well done. We loved Le Shack sooo much we went there four times during our stay at The Crane. Absolutely phenomenal food and staff. Top notch lamb shank, fresh fish, tuna carpaccio! Don’t hesitate, just go and enjoy it. Hats off the owners! Our server, Tanesha, was amazing!

Ambiance was lovely. Service was great. The food was really good. I ordered a salad and lamb. Sticky toffee was so-so. The owners walked around to talk. Great vibes for dinner!

We had such a lovely dinner - we will be going back again this week. Food and ambience was on point. Service was excellent - staff was so friendly and fun. I loved the music played as well! I love that it was indoors but felt outdoors. The decorating inside was adorable and well done. My husband and I started with 2 cocktails - both excellent! The crab cake was delicious (I want to say maybe the best I have ever tasted). Highly recommend the fish of the day or the shrimp risotto. The flavors were so good. Portion sizes were just right. Such a great and fun place to celebrate a special occasion!

If there were more stars, I would award them! What a wonderful restaurant with delicious food, excellent ambiance and friendly, warm staff. We were at The Crane for 11 days and ate at Le Shack 3 times. Different meals each time, each great. Best burger ever! Looking forward to returning next year for more. The best in Barbados. If you are staying at the Crane (or not) it is worth going out of your way. Some of the best food you will have anywhere. The vibes and service are immaculate.

Le Shack is undoubtedly one of the premier restaurants in Barbados. Located feet from the Crane resort and beach, Le Shack is a love letter to French cuisine. From the moment you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a warm and inviting staff. The dining room is open, lively and pays homage to both the Caribbean as well as a French bistro aesthetic. The menu is well balanced and features both a variety of seafood and on land delicacies. While each dish on the menu appears to be made with incredible care and skill. The lamb shank was a personal favorite. If in Barbados, Le Shack is a must visit.
