One of the best mix grill I have ever eaten in the NY. Love the lamb chop and they put 2 pieces, chicken shish was pretty good, love the sauce and taste. Adana kebab was awesome, I had to order one more :) chicken and beef gyro was pretty good also. No need to mention about rice, salad, humus and ezme. They all fresh and delicious. If you around the neighborhood you have to go and try it. I bet you will be % 110 satisfied. We got kadayif also. My friend fall in love with it. Almost forgot to mention waitress Umut. He was very friendly and fast.

We had such a wonderful experience at Dedem Mediterranean Restaurant! From start to finish, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We started with the mixed appetizer platter, which was the perfect way to sample a variety of their delicious dips and small bites. Every item—from the creamy hummus to the smoky baba ghanoush—was packed with authentic flavor and served with warm, fluffy pita. The cheese cigars were another standout—crispy, golden, and filled with perfectly melted cheese that wasn’t too salty or greasy. For our main course, we shared the mixed grill, and it did not disappoint. Each cut of meat was tender, juicy, and expertly seasoned. The chicken, lamb, and kofta were all grilled to perfection, and the portion size was very generous. The service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere made it a great spot to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal. Highly recommend if you’re looking for high-quality Mediterranean food with great service to match!

I had an incredible experience at Dedem Mediterranean & Turkish Cuisine. I ordered the beef gyro and the mixed grill—both were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor, and cooked to perfection (wish I took a picture of the food). The service was top-notch; everyone was super friendly and welcoming, making the whole visit feel like being at home. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, with a comforting, family-friendly vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. To top it all off, the owner brought me a Turkish coffee on the house, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. I’d absolutely recommend Dedem to anyone who enjoys Turkish cuisine and quality grilled meats. Can’t wait to come back!

We got the beef/lamb donner gyro and adana kebab. The gyro wasnt what i expected but very good! More like shreded beef. The adana kebab was good but nothing special. All of the sides were very good. They gave us a little dessert which was very good! Nice a sweet and crunchy.

Dedem Grill - A Stellar Experience! We recently hosted a dinner celebration for 30 people at Dedem Grill, and I can confidently say that Ibrahim and his team exceeded all our expectations. They brought our visions and dreams to life with impeccable service and attention to detail. The food at Dedem Grill is truly top-notch. Every dish, from the numerous appetizers to the numerous family style platters with variety meat, was presented beautifully and kept everyone entertained. The baklava was simply amazing – a perfect end to a fantastic meal. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, thanks to the visible preparation of meats on their grill and stand. Ibrahim and his team communicated effectively throughout the event, ensuring that every guest was well taken care of. The portions were generous, and the prices were surprisingly affordable for the quality and quantity of food offered. I highly recommend Dedem Grill to anyone who loves Turkish cuisine(everything halal!). Whether you're dining casually or hosting a party, you won't be disappointed!

I have been coming here for several months now, soon after they opened. This is really one of the best Turkish restaurants I have ever been to along with Istanbul Bay. Their original location is in Patterson, New Jersey but they opened this location about five months ago. I had their Doner Plate (with Beef/Lamb and Chicken), Gobit Wrap, Red Lentil Soup, Baked Rice Pudding and Turkish Tea. Everything is excellent. I usually get their Gobit Wrap to eat there or Doner Plate to go because they’re so good. Everything here is so reasonably priced compared to other parts of the city. The restaurant is very clean and the service is excellent. This restaurant along with Istanbul Bay are definitely my favorite restaurants on Staten Island.

This Turkish restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The food is simply outstanding. The gyro was perfectly seasoned and tender, while the köfte was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. For dessert, the katmer was flaky, rich, and utterly divine, and the künefe was a delightful balance of sweetness and texture, with gooey cheese and crispy pastry. Every dish was authentic and beautifully presented. If you're craving an unforgettable Turkish dining experience, this is the place to go! Highly recommend!

Tiny place, there is not too much room for large parties but definitely worth to come or order for takeout. I am Turkish myself and very picky about our food. It is important for me name of the food and what you serve must match. This restaurant honors the Turkish cuisine. We were party of 9 and tried almost everything on the menu. Loved them. People who work there also very nice. Restroom was clean!

This must try new Mediterranean restaurant on Staten Island offers delicious grilled authentic Turkish style entrees, deserts and appetizers, excellent attentive service and is sparkling clean . There’s off street parking nearby & you may want to check out the other businesses on that corner or adjacent shopping strip of stores. We shared the huge mixed grill which was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, succulent and so tasty with just the right amount of seasoning & cooked perfectly. The presentation was excellent. It arrived sizzling hot in a beautiful copper footed chafer style server. We love turkish food and know all the best Mediterranean turkish places in every city we visit, so trust me when I say this place is stellar amazing in the way they handle, cook & present every meal. They deserve 10 stars. Try them out before they get so popular you’ll need a reservation or will have lines outside the door! Yes they’re that good & only 2 months old at this location! Will be back next time we are in Staten Island (as this is our new favorite place on the island). Hopefully can try their delicious deserts if we’re not ready to burst! Balaclava, Kunefe, Sutlac, etc..

I ordered 3 appetizers (babagannush, eggplant salad, haydari), pastrami pide and kunefe to go today for the first time. Food was super fresh and delicious! I wish pide was bigger in size or less pricey, I would order it every day! Definitely recommend!

Just had a wonderful lamb and beef donar. Expertly prepared. Other choices on the menu looked well done. Staff gave a pleasant and warm welcome. Can’t wait to come again. Recommend the desserts they are delicious!

Dedem Mediterranean wows with an incredible atmosphere and outstanding service! Beautiful setting, warm and attentive staff, and a genuinely enjoyable dine-in experience. The food is good but has room to be elevated to match the excellence of everything else. A stunning restaurant well worth visiting!

Lamb/beef doner usually runs out by 7ish so go early if you want that. Burger wasn't bad but can be better with healthier buns. Acili Ezme was really good as well. Update 1/4/25 Pretty small skewers portion for 3 large skewers. Acili Ezme is not the best in my experience. Lacks some flavor and very heavy on onion and a little spicier than usual. Good gesture to offer some semolina freshly made. Props for them making their own bread. Salad was good as well. Overall I feel like the price doesn't justify the portions for large platters. I got 2 platters and 2 appetizers and paid over $80 for pick up. 8/15/25 Got the BOGO gyro but it turned out to be very old and stale. Not a good experience.

So, I asked for “no lettuce” instead I got no hummus and bunch of rotten lettuce and soggy falafel. The food was good the first few times we’ve ordered, but consistency isn’t part of their mission. Enjoy it while it lasts. (We always get take out from here and the falafel was a hit which is why we ordered AGAIN tonight. We never had soggy falafel from here so I’m kinda disgusted)

I used to order from here all the time last year. At least once a week. It was my favorite Turkish spot on Staten Island. I ordered again for the first time in about a year since I haven’t been on Staten Island. I ordered around 4 or 5 PM, so it wasn’t early and it wasn’t close to closing. The chicken doner was dry as hell. It was literally so dry that it was inedible. I could not eat it at all. That’s how dry it was. I’m not someone who ordered once and decided to complain. I supported this place a lot, which is why this was disappointing. I really hope this was just a bad day, because the quality was nowhere near what I remember.

The lentil soup was so water down. There was like an essence of vegetables that were listed in the menu. There was barely any protein and the rest was rice. This was the worst order I ever gotten. There was absolutely nothing to eat. Maybe when you eat at this restaurant it looks and taste better but they packaged it with no food. Basically there was absolutely no flavor. Even the sauces were watered down. I am super upset. I wish I could give it zero stars.

Ordered the kebab platter that was supposed to come with a salad and tomatoes. Instead they delivered soggy rice with chicken slapped on top. They did not even deliver my husband’s meal.
