This place is great! I’ve eaten in the restaurant and well as ordered for delivery. Delivery has always been done in a timely manner (and I’ve ordered delivery a lot!). The food is always really good and for a fair price! Definitely the best Mexican food on Staten Island! Edit: so I’m actually bumping this down from 5 stars to 4 stars because of the delivery. The last 5 times or so that I order delivery, it has taken between 1.5 hours to 2 hours and it is never a big order. The food is amazing, so if you can just pick it up or you’ll be waiting forever for the food! Edit 2: I’m bringing this down to 3 stars. It’s a shame because the food is simply amazing and delicious every time but the service and delivery suuuuucks. It always takes 1.5 to 2 hours for delivery when they say 30 minutes. I understand food being late every once in a while but this is every single time, no matter what day it is, hour of the day, or weather.

Been ordering from here for months now but this time it took the last straw they have canceled uber eat orders multiple times on me for no reason the place closes at 6 am there's no reason for them to cancel the order so they just lose money the food is good when it shows up but only then just laziness i think

We ordered 2 Quesadillas, this is what they gave me I called them and asked if they can replace and this is not what Quesadilla looks like, El Patron claims these are Mexican Quesadillas! Can someone help me out, they serve the wrong food and go to the extent of claiming that it’s a Mexican food and me as an American would not know what food I ordered and they can sell me anything to fool me!!

Restaurant has a weird smell once you walk in. The nacho chips were stale. Ordered 2 steak platters and it was saltier than the ocean. Took 2 bites from it and asked for it to be taken away. Manager charged us for 1 but we barely touched it.

I have been to this restaurant several times and they have really good food but the service is always horrible and I always stop going there for awhile bc of it. Today I went back after not eating there in over a year and I said to myself maybe they hired someone new and the service got better boy was I wrong. I ordered a margarita and the Birria quesadillas. I waited over 45 minutes for my quesadilla even though I was literally the only person in the entire restaurant. Usually when I went there they automatically bring you chips and salsa the bartender never brought me the chips and salsa and I just waited and waited and waited for my food she offered no apology for the extremely long wait for a quesadilla and the quesadilla wasn’t even good once I got it and usually their food is really good. I was so disappointed in the entire experience that I decided that I wasn’t going to leave a tip and I never do that bc I’m a bartender myself and I’m always a big tipper and if the service is bad then I will still tip 15% but she didn’t even deserve two cents and it was hard for me to not tip anything at all but I will not be dining in this establishment ever again if I want something from there I would probably just choose delivery. They really need to train their waitstaff on customer service because it’s THE WORSE customer service that I have ever encountered in my life and it’s always bad I never went there and had a good server/bartender.

I've been a regular customer of this restaurant for a while, but the service has gone downhill recently. Delivery used to take about 30 minutes, but now it takes over an hour and a half. I always find myself having to call and check on the status of my order. When the food finally arrives, it’s no longer fresh. This has been really disappointing given their previous reliability.

I’ve come since a little kid and have for the most part ordered the same thing. A couple of weeks ago I had ordered my usual and the waiter seem to have mixed it up. When I got my food it was not what I ordered and I brought it to her attention. She came up to me and when I explained to her what was wrong she rolled her eyes and with a nasty and rude attitude took my food and the gave me the incorrect order again. Once I explained to her in detail she accused me of not ordering my usual and that she heard me say something different. Then she took my plate and asked “ Are you going to pay for this?” In a rude voice. Finally she got the manger involved and he calmly and respectfully gave me the correct order. This is the only reason I’m giving a 1 star for the service manager saved it. The waiter was rude and after the little incident I asked her to bring me a drink she never gave it to me and only gave my friend his drink. To make it all worse when I saw the cheack I had tipped her 8$?!? (Tips are included in the check) keep in mind her service was terrible. Sad to say never comming here again.

Tried this place. Birria tacos were dry, and the sauce very bland. food trucks are better. There is no meat in the tacos at all! Meat fat, and waste of money. I’m surprised there was no seasoning in the meats and even the taco itself. Fat, fat, and no meat. I nearly choked. Meat wasn’t cut up at all.

There was away more pork skin/fat than meat, like giant chunks. I couldn't even eat the burrito. Other burritos I have ordered have been perfect, but this was the first time getting carnitas burrito, and I am disappointed, also disgusted

Absolutely horrible place, I felt like I was choking on cheese every bite I tried to take I could not for the life of me finish. My food was soggy and the rice tasted old. The only this that was good was the sauce absolute waste of money.

The security in this location sat watching TV and asked the patron to keep their voices down because he couldn't hear the TV. Their were only three people in the restaurant. Will never go back. The artwork was nice.
