A restaurant with a varied and good-quality menu. I personally enjoyed an excellent grilled meat. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful, right on the banks of the Ticino River, with plenty of greenery and shade to relax and enjoy with friends. A small children's play area with swings, a slide, and table football. I often recommend it to out-of-towners, too, to enjoy a natural setting and discover the beauty of the river just a few kilometers from the city center. Parking on-site.

Beautiful location on a side of the Ticino River. The food is good, especially their specialties of fried frogs and bleak, and the grilled meats are also excellent. The service is a little (but only slightly) long, and the prices are reasonable.

Abbiamo prenotato per tre persone e due cani, servizio molto in caos, dopo 30 min non era arrivata acqua, che è arrivata dopo i primi 🫠 nonostante ovviamente l'avessimo chiesta.. inoltre hanno segnato sullo scontrino delle cose in più che non hanno portato.. caos.. comunque, parliamo delle cose POSIVITE: il cibo veramente, ma veramente buono. Abbiamo preso un risotto, della carne con la caponatina della casa e la pasta con il pesce 🐟 e friggitelli, che dire? Buonissimo! Per questo diamo 4/5 perché sicuramente è tangibile l'impegno nell'attenzione a scegliere le materie prime, che direi essere veramente un plus ♡ appunti: troppa attesa per mangiare, essere sparecchiati, più occhio verso i clienti che chiamano più volte i camerieri che si defilano, più pulizia (per favore!!) nel bagno, necessaria veramente. Tante grandi attenzioni da avere per tenere questo posto al TOP come merita per ciò che si ha mangiato. Ritorneremo, con i nostri pelosini, per mangiare buono e per modificare la recensione mettendo SOLO COSE BELLE ! Abbiamo fiducia ! Speriamo siano stati dei consigli da prendere in valutazione, a presto ♡

Posto immerso nel Parco del Ticino, in riva al fiume. É possibile arrivarci anche dall’acqua e nei fine settimana primaverili ed estivi si riempie di escursionisti e natanti. Ci sono stato sia a pranzo che per aperitivi e sono sempre stato contento: la cucina spazia dalla tradizione lombarda a qualche sperimentazione.. per l’aperitivo il tagliere salumi e formaggi è d’obbligo. Prezzi giusti e personale simpatico. Occhio agli stormi di zanzare da metà Giugno a fine Agosto!!

May 7, 2023 We booked and chose to have lunch at this osteria, very close to the Ticino River. Parking was very convenient, right next to the restaurant. All the seating is outside with a beautiful view of the surrounding nature, some under the canopy, some in gazebos, and some under the open sky. We chose the Tuscan Maremma Steak (€20.00), one medium rare, the other rare. Unfortunately, both were served rare, but regardless of the cooking, the meat wasn't exactly pleasant...not tender and tasty. For sides, we had French fries (€3.50) and broccoli (€3.50). For dessert, a homemade chocolate cake (€4.50). Overall, we weren't thrilled, especially considering the total cost, including water and coffee, was €54.00. June 10, 2023 With friends from different places, we decided to find a place convenient for everyone to eat together. We booked an all-inclusive menu for €30.00. Everything was well organized within the simplicity of the restaurant. This time, compared to last time, the food was very good and plentiful. The menu included: bruschetta, frittata, and mixed cold cuts with Russian salad and spring onions. For the first course, pasta with cherry tomatoes, olives, and cacioricotta, or risotto with Prosecco and scamorza. For the second course, rosemary-flavored sliced beef and a side dish (fries and mixed salad). Water (1 liter), house wine or 1 bottle (Bonarda or Riesling) for every 4 people, or 1 beer and coffee. Good service.

A charming osteria on the banks of the Ticino River, with indoor seating for chilly evenings. Suitable for aperitifs, lunches, and dinners. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and drinks, and moderate prices. A great place for families with children, who can enjoy the small play area in front of the restaurant. Absolutely pet-friendly, the place also offers the opportunity to take relaxing walks in the surrounding area. Free parking is available near the restaurant.

Nice oasis for a cold drink if hiking the Via Francigena

I stopped by while walking the via Francigena - I asked them if they were open and a lady said they were closing but I could get a drink - I thought that was very nice and ordered a coke to be quick and let them close - then an Italian man drove in - offered a menu immediately, tablecloth, meal the whole works! Very poor service and attitude do not stop here if you’re walking the via Francigena!
