Veramente una esperienza molto bella, ho prenotato per una cena tra amici, siamo stati accolti benissimo, personale gentilissimo, cibo ottimo cucinato bene e molto attenti anche nella presentazione dei piatti. Consigliato, il prezzo è nella media ci torneremo sicuramente.

Piatti molto buoni, servizio presente, cortese ed efficiente, hanno anche "ribaltato" il sotto bancone per cercare il liquore alla liquirizia che avevo chiesto, quando avrebbero potuto semplicemente dirmi che lo avevano finito, visto che poi è stato anche offerto dalla casa. I prezzi sono decisamente nella media per la qualità del cibo e la posizione del ristorante, se dovessi tornare a Stresa ci tornerei sicuramente!

Ottima trattoria a Stresa, locale pulito e ordinato. Molto buona la qualità delle pietanze e ben curato l'impiattamento. Abbiamo mangiato la zucca gratinata, le teofie con il ragù di lago e i filetti di pesce persico fritti. Tutto davvero molto buono. Il semifreddo pralinato era ottimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

In due abbiamo preso un antipasto, due primi, due dolci, un'acqua e un caffè. 64 euro. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e cibo di qualità soprattutto le busiate con pesto di pistacchi e tartare di gamberi al lime che erano sublimi.

Cenone di Capodanno. Abbiamo mangiato in questo fantastico ristorante, situato a pochi metri dal lago. Il cibo si è rilevato ottimo, soprattutto la scelta delle materie prime. Consiglio vivamente le pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale, squisite. Ringrazio anche la gentilezza dei camerieri che ci hanno servito. Molto apprezzato l’antipasto e lo spumante offerto.

Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante appena arrivati a Stresa la sera del 25, siamo andati ben oltre ogni rosea aspettativa. Ambiente molto accogliente così come accogliente e gentile è stato il personale. Menu molto ben articolato, con qualche presenza di pesce di lago ma soprattutto per un piatto tipico piemontese: i ravioli del plin ai tre arrosti, che lo chef ha reso uno dei piatti più buoni mai assaggiati. Buoni anche i dolci, ottimo, ripeto il servizio (i grissini serviti nel cestino del pane erano meravigliosi). Prezzo adeguato a quanto offerto. Consigliatissimo

Se passate da Stresa fermatevi. Personale splendido, educato e attento. Il cibo ci ha soddisfatto, in particolare il risotto era davvero superlativo. Meno i dolci.

We just enjoyed an amazing (Thanksgiving night) meal in the lovely city of Stresa, Italy. Just a few minutes walk from our room, we found Ristorante Lo Stornello, the perfect choice. We started with 1. Piedmontese beef tartare with hazelnut cream and local cheese fondue 2. Potato gnocchi scented with porcini mushrooms, veal reduction, pumpkin, mountain pine powder and Vigezzo Valley pancetta 3. Veal loin cooked at low temperature and sautéed in aromatic butter, lard-based condiment with parsley, smoked potatoes gratinated with Bettelmatt cheese 4. Semifreddo forest bianca with white chocolate, fresh currants, raspberries, blackberries and gooseberries 5. A beautiful bottle of Barbera d'Asti Montebruna Braida Thank you Chef Cesare, Gabriel and Alberto for the stunning meal and amazing service

We ate here twice during our stay in Stresa. The service is very friendly and attentive, and the location right in the middle of town makes for a lively atmosphere. Ingredients taste fresh, and they offer both daily and weekly specials. Listed in the Michelin guide. Highlights for us were the pasta with fresh porcini (delicious), the grilled calamari with pan-fried potatoes and ginger carrots (tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned), and the tuna with fennel, orange, and pomegranate - fantastic. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in town.

Overall a very nice find in Stresa, Italy. Went there for dinner as a couple. It’s a Michelin listed restaurant (2024 and 2025). The food was quite nice though I wouldn’t say all the dishes were exceptional. The flan was very nice as was the seafood pasta. I would definitely recommend having a meal there once if you like authentic Italian fare. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Delicious meal in a relaxing environment. We sat outside under the covered patio with heaters. Felt great. Was very warm in indoor section of restaurant. Staff was kind and helpful for choosing a wine. Food was excellent. Food came out very quickly, but were still able to sit and relax at the table for 3+ hours. Risotto and gnocchi were delicious and authentic. Fish was light and very fresh. Would go here again!

I came here at lunch with my girlfriend since we couldn't book the evening before as it was full. I understood why it was difficult to book it: it's really good. We got a starter and two main courses. All of the dishes were nicely served and quite scenic and tasty. The starter was a smoked tuna with veggies that was really yummy. My main course was the fish fillet with bread crumbs on top and season veggies that was just amazing. My girlfriend got pasta with cooked fish and tomato sauce that was just special. I really suggest to everyone to go and try it ou!

Locale segnalato dalla guida Michelin nel centro di Stresa. Troverete piatti semplici della cucina locale ma curati e ben impiattati. Ovviamente in estate troverete molta gente poiché il turismo è tanto. L'interno del locale è semplice senza uso di tovaglia di stoffa ma con tovaglietta. Menù alla carta vario e con proposte veg. Carta dei vini che abbraccia il Piemonte in tutte le sue sfumature. I piatti arrivano con perfetto tempismo, il servizio è veloce e curato. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene.

A pochi passi dal lago e in pieno centro si trova questo ristorante sobrio ed elegante e un gazebo ricercato e naif per la bella stagione. Il menu' prevede carne e pesce cucinati in chiave gourmet con prodotti freschi e gustosi anche se mi sarei aspettato qualcosa di piu' nei piatti ottimi vini e passiti al calice servizio professionale i prezzi tenendo conto del livello del locale sono onesti.

Buon ristorante in centro a Stresa con un menù ricercato e non turistico. I prodotti utilizzati sono freschi e di qualità, tipo la tartare di manzo che ho preso. I prezzi sono leggermente alti ma per essere in centro a Stresa devo dire che sono ancora nella norma. Il servizio impeccabile, tutti molto disponibili, attenti e gentili. Assolutamente da provare dopo una bella camminata sul lungo lago.

Abbiamo prenotato perché immaginavamo che il locale sarebbe stato pieno. Infatti il consiglio è quello di non arrivare senza prenotazione. Ambiente climatizzato e rilassante, personale cortese e attento. I primi sono stati serviti in tempi perfetti mentre per l'arrivo dei secondi abbiamo atteso un po' troppo. Tutto preparato in maniera eccellente. Ingredienti freschi e accostamenti originali. Davvero un ottimo ristorante.

Ho mangiato due piatti vegani, erano entrambi buoni. Mia moglie ha preso i ravioli e i petali di manzo ed erano anch'essi buoni. L' unica pecca e la quantità minima delle pietanze. Il servizo professionale, i prezzi ottimi.

Ristorante di dimensioni contenute nel centro di Stresa a pochi passi dalla passeggiata sul lungo lago. All'interno l'ambiente è carino, piccola nota; i tavoli nella seconda saletta, a ridosso della cucina, non sono molto distanziati. Il nostro tavolo era posizionato accanto alla porta delle cucine, privacy non ottimale. Detto ciò, entrando nel dettaglio, un plus va al personale: tutti estremamente gentili e cortesi, servizio attento e preciso. Abbiamo mangiato bene, in particolare gli gnocchi alle castagne e zucca. Ottima varietà nel menù con buone proposte vegetariane. Buona cantina di vini con proposte al calice. Infine rapporto qualità / prezzo nella norma, le materie prime sono di buona qualità. Nel complesso direi molto consigliato.

I piatti sono stati preparati con attenzione e gusto. Nonostante le porzioni non siano molto abbondanti i prezzi sono piuttosto alti. Il locale è piccolino e si riempie facilmente ed il livello del rumore sale molto facilmente. Servizio gentile. Valide opzioni per vegetariani.

Eravamo di passaggio, ci siamo fermati a cena, ambiente moderno stile minimal. Personale simpatico e gentile. Le proposte sul menù non erano molte ma a mio avviso meglio, ed erano molto interessanti. Tagliere di salumi molto buono, tagliatelle ai carciofi ottime ed anche il filetto. Il tortino al cioccolato a chiusura ci voleva, molto buono.

Great food at a very reasonable price - the Mediterranean croaker on shellfish bisque was sensational, and the chocolate biscuit pudding was decent. I also appreciated that they had some lovely local wines available in 50cl bottles. Service was mostly good except at the end when we were ignored for almost half an hour despite asking for the bill twice. A shame really as the meal had been very good up until then and the staff seemed friendly, but were perhaps just a bit too busy.

Small restaurant with potential to earn their first Michelin star. Very good food carefully prepared and plated. I've tried their local house white wine and it was fantastic. Don't leave before trying their home made digestivo crema di limone. Good service even when the restaurant got busy. Located a few blocks from the shore and public parking lot it offers a great atmosphere. Minor details like chipped wine glass, washroom items and bar organization could easily be addressed by the owners. Overall it certainly is a place to come back.

We ate here because of the Michelin recommendation, but I’m not sure how they got that recommendation because the service was poor and the food was mediocre at best. The presentation was good and the wine was good, but it was easily the worst meal we had during our week in Stresa, and I had to get more food elsewhere after we left. They really need to work on the service more than anything else - we felt rushed to order and nobody ever checked in on us. My wife’s meal was missing ingredients and needed salt, and my fish was just an overcooked brick of nothing special. The shrimp appetizer I had was meh and the shrimp were very undercooked. As I write this I’m surprised that I’m giving it 3 stars because I really had a poor experience.
