Opinions de Seoul Bistro Studio City
Fantastic flavors. If you like Korean and Japanese food then you need to check this spot out. Authentic flavors that aren’t easy to find. I love K-town but I’m so happy we have a real Korean bistro in the valley.
I’m gonna say it: this is the best restaurant in LA. If I’m having a slow night and need a pick-me-up, I roll through. If I have something to celebrate, I roll through. If I just need a solid good meal, I roll through. A place like this shouldn’t exist in a city of rotating doors of eateries. It’s a neighborhood establishment. I’m almost hesitant to share this review because I don’t want the secret getting out. But that would be selfish. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is immaculate, and if you are a fan of Titanic, I got great news for you. If you have dinner here, there’s a more than 50% chance you’ll see me chilling to blackpink and inhaling a chicken bibimbap with an egg
I had passed by Seoul Bistro a few times but never went in because I wasn’t familiar with Korean food. I’m glad I finally did because this place completely changed my mind. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful, and the staff made the whole experience easy and welcoming. We ordered the beef bulgogi bowl, rose ddukbokki (the cheesy pasta dish I had seen on Instagram/TikTok), and the sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken. All three were excellent. The bulgogi was tender and well seasoned, the cheesy ddukbokki was creamy, rich, and addictive, and the chicken had a great crunch with just the right amount of heat. They even give you gloves to handle it, which was a fun touch. Portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing, we left with leftovers. The atmosphere was relaxed with Korean music in the background, and there’s a call button at the table for service, which was really convenient. It seems to be very popular for takeout too, since I noticed a steady stream of delivery drivers picking up orders. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions, and while they do add gratuity for dine-in, I thought it was fair given the service. Overall, Seoul Bistro is a gem in Studio City. It’s approachable even if you’re new to Korean food, and the flavors really deliver. The 4.6 rating is well deserved, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
I ordered take out from this spot and not only was the service fantastic but the food was incredible!!!! We ordered the beef bibimbap bowl and the japchae and truly idk which one was better??? Sooooo good. Also the place looked adorable inside still be back to try dine in!! Again, service was great and they threw in fresh pickled radishes too which was so nice!!! 🤗
Great food. I'm going to get this wrong. Had the sweet and sour fried chicken, Beef bogoli? Also, Korean iced coffee and Super cute decor. Staff was super friendly. Will definitely return.
Amazing food, cheese ramen was sooo delicious. Great people, very clean bistro. Definitely it’s my fave spot now for sure!
Small business, family owned, comfort home style dishes that could hold you down for Korean staples when needed. Most notably, the KFC is better than any of the franchises that I've tried in this part of LA. Kimchi jeon aka pancake was worth trying once, and the classic ddukbbokki has the right heat. Even the side dish cucumber kimchi is nicely marinated- well balanced flavors and fresh.
Glad to have a Korean food spot in the valley! I always order the ddeokbokki and it’s always fresh and just the right amount of spice. I ordered the seafood jeon today too. A little soft, but flavors were still good after using the dipping sauce.
Really new resto super chill vibe jazz music playing in the background. Pretty good food, simple delicious and decently priced. We order the Galbi Ribs Plate and the Sweet and Spicy Korean Fried Chicken. Both were good. Even had some leftovers to bring home. The cashier was especially friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Recommended.
Me and my friend chose this place randomly as we were craving tteok-bokki and it was nearby. As we were looking at the menu from outside out of curiosity, a kind man welcomed us in. We were a bit hesitant about the tteok -bokki as we’ve had sweeter sauces that we were not fans of. When we tried the sauce from this restaurant, we knew instantly that this would be our go-to spot ! We then ordered the k-chicken (sweet and spicy), it arrived freshly fried and hot. We waited a couple of minutes as it needed to cool down and when we took the first bite we knew that it was made for us. I would 100% recommend this place and it seems to be ran by a family as well. The kind old man who opened the door for us was so sweet and brought us gloves to eat the chicken with. 100% will try to go there every week.
I was pleasantly surprised for my first time. I got the beef bulgogi plate and the portion was huge I had more than enough left overs. Next time I go I definitely will be trying the fried chicken I saw other customers with it and it looked amazing.
Great vibe, low key, casual. The jazz music in the background provides a nice environment to enjoy while awaiting your order. The columnist too loud, just enough to cover the atmospheric chatter. The staff is friendly and they are hard at work behind the counter making the delicious food. A great opportunity to try some delicious food at a good price. Worth stopping in for and for $20 you can get a decent meal.
Very home cooking style. The bone soup is light but flavorful. Seaweed roll is pretty interesting. Veggie bimbap has interesting assortment of veggies.
SO. DAMN. GOOD. My first time trying authentic Korean food, and I’ll def be back. Portions are gigantic by the way. Everything was amazing, but fried chicken was the best I’ve ever had.

So glad a Korean spot opened up on this side of town! So far we’ve tried yukgejang, bulgogi plate, kimchi jjigae and soondubu. They were all really really good - the cooks looked like veterans in the kitchen 👀 Since they’re still new and super busy I think they’re still working out some kinks in the workflow, but I’m sure they’ll get there in time. Excited to return and try everything else! They also have shaved ice on the menu.
The Ambiance was interesting and had a strange Titanic theme going on. the seating area was mostly a bunch of flat couch/ottomans. The service was friendly and the food had big portion sizes. The Galbi Tang soup had big pieces of meat. The prices are higher than expected.
I was excited just seeing the menu options here and I was NOT disappointed. The staff were so kind, service was quick, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the kimchi jjigae and my partner got the kalbi bibimbap; both were delicious and the flavors made me nostalgic for my trips to Korea in the past. The serving sizes were big and prices super reasonable. There was a ton of meat, kimchi, and tofu in my stew. It was so tasty I forgot to snap a pic til I was more than halfway through eating. I 100% will be coming back and working my way through trying everything on the menu. So glad to have this place nearby now!

If I could give more than five stars, I would! I called a few days before the weekend looking for a place that could accommodate about 20 people for a Saturday night birthday party. The owner warmly welcomed us, and the husband-and-wife team went above and beyond to make my Korean friend’s 40th birthday one to remember. The food was excellent, the service superb, and the quirky mix of Titanic movie décor and K-pop videos created such a fun, unique vibe. Don’t miss the chance to check out this Studio City gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️
Food was really good! Parking in the plaza can be tight but doable. I got the Kimchi Jigae (stew) and original Korean fried chicken. Loved both. Took leftovers home. Nice ambience and if you’re craving Korean food but don’t want to drive all the way to Koreatown, this is a nice place to go to.
I almost didn't want to post about this place because i dont want this place to get too busy! I like the chill (titanic) vibe and delicious food above all. I get my most frequent take out dinners here. My favorite is Galbi-Tang, its very similar to caldo de rez, but with different veggies. Anyway, hoping this helps someone decide this is a good reliable spot to try sometime when youre craving Korean food.
I truly can’t recommend this place enough. The soondubu jjigae changed my outlook on life, so flavorful, the kimchi fried rice was also sensational, and the owner was so kind. Give them your money immediately

Inexpensive Korean restaurant. They advertise sushi rolls, but those are only available at dinner time. My wife and I both had the bibimbop. I had bulgogi and she had galbi. They were good, but the meat seemed to be of lower quality. Service was adequate, but not very welcoming. We probably won't be back.

I wanted Korean food and live in Sherman Oaks so didn’t want to go all the way to Ktown. Saw the good reviews here and wanted to give a small, local business a chance. Didn’t work out. The soups we had were bland and had almost no seasoning. We had to add salt and soy sauce just to eat it, but that adds only saltiness, not flavor. Other Korean restaurants give you 5-7 banchan’s. Here you got 2 very small ones, kimchi radish and potato salad. I asked for cabbage kimchi and was charged $3.50 for it, even though it tasted store bought and not fresh. We ordered hot tea and thought it was free or nominal. Incredibly, each plain hot tea was $5.95! What a disappointment. Next time I’ll drive the extra 30 minutes to Ktown.
