What a lovely discovery! A quiet and intimate place, almost like being at home in the countryside. The intoxicating aroma of the grill makes everything even more evocative. It's definitely worth it just for the location and the tranquility you feel all around. Add a good house wine and some delicious meat, and I'd say a better Sunday couldn't be imagined! The staff were courteous and attentive. I read they recently changed management, so there's certainly a lot to improve and develop, but for our first time, it was great. Thanks for everything, see you soon!

We returned to this trattoria for the second time just yesterday, and once again we can confirm the excellent quality of the food and the special welcome. All three are truly talented, helpful, kind, and charming: they make you feel right at home. We had lunch again under the large chestnut tree, outdoors, and the location is truly unique; immersed in the countryside, it exudes total peace, with an atmosphere that lets you disconnect from everything. Yesterday, there was also a live band playing, an added bonus that made the experience even more enjoyable. The meat is excellent, cooked to perfection, and every dish exudes care and quality. We will definitely return in preparation for the Wild Boar Festival scheduled for October. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for good food, a relaxing atmosphere, and authentic people.

A wonderful evening of delicious food and pleasant seating. The food was delicious, and all the meat is prepared over an open fire. They also have a few alternatives, but it's especially recommended for those who enjoy beef. The owner is friendly; they really take the time to connect with you and create a personal connection (as much as possible).

Fantastic food. They cook with care here. We had a delicious steak Fiorentina cooked on the open fire. Incredibly tasty and top quality. Definitely recommended. A bit of a climb by car, but you're in for a treat.

If you're looking for the feeling of an authentic Italian finca, away from the tourist crowds, this is the place for you! Don't be put off by the road. Anyone who can drive a little will arrive safely. At the top, you have to find the entrance to the gravel road, as the farm is tucked away on a hill behind walnut trees. Once you've overcome this final hurdle, you can enjoy hospitality on a whole new level. I would give it six stars if I could. You feel like part of the family, receive an incredibly warm and friendly welcome, and every wish is fulfilled. Besides the food and the view, I would particularly like to highlight the barbecue and the meatballs in tomato sauce. Heaven doesn't get any better than this! Absolutely recommended and highly recommended. You won't experience a more authentic and authentic Italy on Lake Iseo! Thank you so much, Julia and me! If there's one thing we'll miss, it's your trattoria! But one thing's for sure: we'll be back :)

A simple yet stunning location surrounded by greenery, a quiet restaurant with good background music, a place to dine with family, friends, or as a couple. The menu is limited, but every dish is simply amazing: the quality of the ingredients and the chef's skill leave no room for disappointment; everything is superb! The staff is young and incredibly kind; William was a fantastic host throughout the evening, helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I absolutely recommend trying it; we can't wait to go back!

A few meters from the finish line, you begin to hear the sound of the stream, the cowbells, and the birds singing—for that alone, it deserves top honors. Completely immersed in nature, you'll find this trattoria run by three young men and a young woman, whose love and passion for what they do is palpable. What can I say? The food and wine offered are truly excellent, with special mention for the fantastic Florentine steak, cooked to perfection. The menu offers a variety of desserts, but I imagine these change with the season (because you can see their vegetable garden). The guys are kind, patient, and above all helpful. They also have a wonderful four-legged friend named Diego with them. Once you've had your coffee and paid the bill (average prices), on your way home, you can't help but notice the photograph you left behind on the way up: a beautiful panorama of Lake Iseo. It's impossible not to stop and photograph it. A culinary experience and more, I recommend it to everyone. I'll be back soon.

Posto fuori dal casino e immerso nel verde, molto alla buona, con cucina casereccia. Arrivati per la sagra del cinghiale, abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene e, secondo me, ad un prezzo più che onesto: antipasto, primo, secondo, dolce, vino, acqua, caffè, x 3 persone a 90 euro totali. Quantità più che giuste, ma volendo si poteva chiedere anche il bis. Per raggiungere il ristorante c'è da fare una strada in alcuni tratti ripida e in certi punti è difficile il passaggio di due auto, ma sicuramente merita. I gestori hanno anche acceso il camino, e con le temperature basse dell'esterno, era una bella atmosfera. Mi spiace per la foto del brasato , ormai quasi finito, ma la golosità era tanta 😅

I'd been looking for a place in the area that served Fiorentina steak for a while... intrigued by the reviews and photos (as well as knowing the place from the previous management), I booked for two on a Sunday in early November. The setting and the restaurant exterior are stunning. We'll definitely have to come back in the summer to enjoy the coolness of a warm evening. The interior, to be honest, seemed a bit bare and cold. The bar/counter area was nice, but I think the rest of the room could be improved considerably. The tables were quite close together, and the acoustics were a bit of a challenge if, like us, you have a table with a lot of children next to you. All in all, it was largely acceptable. The menu was short, with four appetizers, a couple of first courses, and a few cuts of meat, including the Fiorentina steak (€6.90 per 100g), which we came for. We ordered water, half a house red (a decidedly good Barbera, better than several bottles I've had elsewhere), a cheese/cured meat platter to share, and a 1,050-kg Fiorentina steak. The platter, sourced from local farms, was worth it, both for its quantity and quality. It was accompanied by bread and focaccia (I understand they were homemade), which could be improved, even replaced with excellent store-bought bread, in my opinion. We were warned that there would be a bit of a wait for the meat, and since we were in no rush, we enjoyed the appetizer and our wine. The staff is very attentive to their customers, stopping by frequently to check on us and ask if everything was okay, if we needed anything, etc. Kind and knowledgeable, in short, excellent. Then come the knives (small cleavers... excellent for cutting meat, but less so for scraping it from the bone) that will be used for the meat, and the tray with the Florentine steak sliced, ready to be eaten. Baked potatoes with rosemary were delicious on the side. The meat is definitely good, tender, and cooked to perfection. For my personal taste, the fat around the edges is a little tough (sometimes difficult to cut). One small tip I'd suggest is to better monitor the temperature of the meat; in the less cooked parts, it arrived at the table already cold, which, as the minutes passed, slightly hindered our enjoyment of it. A warmed tray might have helped a little, but it didn't affect the quality of the steak. This didn't stop me from gnawing on the meat from the bone to the last gram, like a true carnivore. To conclude, we asked for a vin santo with biscotti (I'd venture homemade), which was completely satisfying. The final bill was around €50 per person, which I'd say was fair for the size of the steak. We'll be back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor seating. With a few small adjustments, it could become a regular stop for those like me who love places surrounded by nature, far from the hustle and bustle of the lake and the city. WELL DONE.

Meat specialties! The bao appetizer is interesting. The place is rather remote and very informal. Although good, the meat is overpriced in my opinion. It's a shame there aren't many local wines.

A relaxing and pleasant place surrounded by nature. It feels like a small mountain hut. The gluten-free options are much appreciated (bread, pasta, and desserts with gluten-free options). The narrow road is a bit challenging, but it's worth it.

The place has been there for a while...but the management is new. Three guys, you can see that they know the raw materials that are of good quality, fresh focaccia, typical Tuscan appetizer, good Florentine steak but the cooking could be improved as it was too much. Excellent house wine. Excellent service. Poor side dish. We are sure that you are adjusting the shot and you have the ability. The medium-high prices are not justified especially by the environment. There is a lot to do for the location, it is not up to the level of the food served, it needs to be repainted as soon as possible, the environment needs to be heated before the customers arrive, the table linens need to be forgotten, we understand that you have just started but that is not an excuse. Young and handsome with little money a lick of paint and a varnish on the furniture can work miracles. High potential but needs to be developed. You will make it, we are sure. Dogs are allowed. Well done!

We did enjoy the food , the verry nice interior and all the Staff, all speaking good Englisch. Its a verry narrow road with many curves to reach the place...but when you reach it you will enjoy. We recommend this restaurant.

Spero che la recensione venga considerata come un suggerimento, la location è incantevole ma a mio avviso molto trascurata, il servizio è buono e accogliente, il menù non allineato al prezzo, buona la selezione di formaggi, salumi ordinari, la tartare arrivata cotta dal condimento, spaghetti cacio e pepe incollati dal formaggio, conclusione a mio modesto avviso: migliorare la qualità del cibo o allineare i prezzi, esperienza: un antipasto a testa, la mia compagna solo il primo, io solo la tartare, dolce e caffè per due 80 €, troppo per un menu ordinario, grandi possibilità di miglioramento perché la location lo merita. Come giustamente sottolineato dal proprietario ci sono stato ad agosto 2013, se migliorato mi fa piacere perché mi piacerebbe tornarci

NOT RECOMMENDED, high prices, 20-gram portions..., cold, terrible and slow service (nice guy), lumpy meat, side dish of 7 baked potatoes (like a mandarin) for 4 euros! It's up to you! AVOID IT LIKE A MILITARY CANTEEN. Regarding your response... you're poor things, and I stand by everything I wrote. Learn to work.

Called the man hung up on me. Then thought well if he answered must be open. So we went anyway. Pit address in GPS it took us what seem further up the mountain. Once there no restaurant..very disappointed because the family really wanted to try this place.
