Tinker's Burgers

Chicken breast sandwich was sooooo moist and fresh tasting. Wowza. Maybe one of the best sandwiches I’ve had before.

Tink is absolutely the best person I’ve ever met. I met him at his hot dog stand and he was super nice. I later heard of and tried tinker burger, and it was absolutely amazing! Tink really is 1 of 1, a chef among chefs, tink is awesome :)!!!! I highly reccomend. Remember, there is only one Tink, do not miss out on this opportunity if you are ever near this area.

I haven't feel a place like this in years... excellent service, the food was incredible, you can't beat that fresh. Me and my wife sat at the bar and we had a really nice chat with the owner and his "right hand"... Easy to get out of the freeway and easy to go back... there is a great ocean spot at a minute from there... you will have a nice experience with amazing food ❤

This place is a totally legitimate hole in the wall type burger joint. The prices are good, the service is good, and the cheeseburgers are excellent as well. If you like hot stuff, but you're sick of going to restaurants where they tell you something is hot, but it's not really, I highly recommend The Inferno Burger. The ghost pepper aioli will not only light you up, but it's flavourful too.

WORTH THE STOP! Sam made us an amazing lunch. The fish burger, made with shark, was yummy. Not fishy in taste just delicious. The patty melt was very filling and was everything a patty melt should be, on point. Crispy fries and out of this world ranch.

The most Absolute Greatest !! Most Delicious !! Stopped at this Golden jem on our vacation, and tried the Bacon Blue burger with chili cheese tater tots ! I've officially had the greatest burger in my life, the toasted sourdough bread is made to perfection, and the tots are golden with the best chili beans. We are now going to make weekend trips up here from the San Fernando Valley just to eat here , the shakes and malts are next on my list.

Although I had a long wait-it was sooo worth it! Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I have ever had. I literally crave it somedays. I live 30 min away and will make the drive just to go back. I highly reccomend adding the thousand island sauce to it, it's better than in n out. Cant even describe how great it was!

Fun little burger spot tucked away in Summerland! Food is always great, friendly service, and fun atmosphere of a beach town burger joint! Love the Pastrami Burger, it's big enough to split! The Tater Tots are awesome, I get cheese on top! I also like the Cruly Fries! Fun atmosphere for a beach burger experience! Check it out and definitely try the Pastrami Burger!

Service was fast, fries with seasoning are great, and there’s plenty of parking around the area. No, as commenters have pointed out, it’s not In-n-Out. It’s better. And yes you’ll pay a little more, because it’s not... But it’s reasonably priced and much better than a lot more burgers across the spectrum of pricing. Don’t buy the comments from people who probably complain about everything - which kills me because people complaining about service time here while writing that it’s not In-n-Out will obviously sit on their a$$ in a drive-through to get their animal style fries. If you want a great burger from a small business, try Tinker.

Tinkers is a local staple. Every time I take my family to the beach in Summerland we go by Tinker for a delicious meal.

My family and I have made it a tradition to stop by Tinker's on our way back to LA since 2016. Delicious food!

My favorite burger place. Sourdough bacon burger is highly recommended.

When placing an order online, I has mixed up my original pick up time. When I called a couple hours later to inquire if they still had my order, they said yes and that it was still waiting for me. But to my surprise, they had remade my order by the time I got there so that it would be nice, hot, and fresh. Wow was I surprised by such amazing service. And the burger was delicious and the curly fries were phenomenal. I highly recommend this place for locals and travelers!

Food was really good, but the prices were crazy. Almost $50 for two burgers, fries and tiny drinks. In n out is less than half for the same thing.

Stopped here on our way home yesterday kids loved the burgers as did the wife and I. They had regular cheeseburgers I had a double with grilled onion and jalapeños. Curly fries we could have done without but onion rings where good. Definitely adding this one to the list of good food spots.

The food is good. Burgers are tasty. The employees work hard, the owner seems like he may take advantage of them. They toil and slave while he sits in his climate controlled room, filling the dining area with exhaust. You would think after all these years they would have made some updates and improvements.

We went with friends and ate on the patio out front. The food was delicious, although a bit pricey, but we expected that given the location. I had the sourdough bacon cheese burger. Excellent. I was not very impressed with this place. It had good reviews, so I thought I would try it. The food was bland, the girl who took our order was not too friendly. I did like that they had outside seating.

The Pastrami Melt sandwich had hardly any pastrami on it, complete joke & they charge $15.00 .. This is the second time in row that their sandwich’s have been very sub par. Last time it was the Turkey Melt. Maybe a new person in the kitchen not sure.

I've been here a couple of times and it's just meh. Really damn expensive for what you get as well. The service is also not good. They always have a bad attitude for some reason. The Summerland beach cafe has much better burgers, it's right across the street, and I've never had a bad experience there

Food tastes good for the most part but the portion size varies every time. If I were to get fries, sometimes I get a load of them other times its nearly any. Same with the Philly cheese sometimes they load it up other times you look at it and your like are actually going to charge me 13 bucks for that. It just seems Tinkers could be doing better if your going to charge nearly 20 bucks for a full meal at least give good portion sizes at all times or simply charge less.

Our son told us about tinkers burger. So we stopped in for lunch. We ordered some sandwiches, but never got them. Everyone that came in after us was eating their order. We asked where's ours, and they never made it. The placed our order in the cashier box. I would like to give them a better rating, but I missed out on the Reuben sandwich. The gave us our refund back. Hopefully we can eat there some other time.

One of the worst burgers I’ve ever had! Maybe this place was good at one point in time but definitely has gone down hill. It’s obvious they use low grade meat. It was dry and had no flavor added to it. This burger was worse then eating a burger from a chow hall on a US base in Iraq! Besides that the staff was young(teens/young adults maybe) and they did not pay much attention to there customers. They were to busy talking about a game(baseball im assuming). I think the only reason this place stays in business is because of its location. I will say there fries were good! I wish all local businesses the best and I wish the same for these guys. They just need better staff and better food!

Overpriced, under-cooked, and dirty. They USE to have the best sourdough melts in the area- but not anymore. Last time I ordered the sourdough melt the cheese wasn't melted and the onions were uncooked, crisp, and cold. I bought the meal and paid extra to get sweet potato fries because I can't eat regular fries right now. They gave me a mix of sweet fries and regular fries. When I asked them about the mix they shared that they didn't want to separate the fries in the fryer and that it was easier to just give me the mix. Staff attitudes like that can cause a serious problem for a patron that has an allergy. Also, I paid more for sweet potato fries. I try to eat local, but won't be visiting Tinker's anymore. The staff are inconsiderate and the restaurant is gross.

The worst Philly I’ve ever had in my life! I looked like it was a joke, small and cheap bread, meat was bad, 2 slices of onion for almost $15. It’s insane!

It just to be the place not any more. I know everything is expensive but when you crave THE burger is always worth the price and the place. It's just nostalgia to go back and experience the diablo burger 🥵 . They don't even have the habanero spicy their own condiment.

It used to be one of my favorite burger places, unfortunately today it was horrible! First their bathroom was disgusting! I ordered hamburger, curly fries and a chocolate shake. My chocolate shake didn’t taste like anything they used to. And it tasted pretty bad. Sadly again it used to be one of my favorite chocolate shakes. I hate to return my food or drinks that I’m not happy with, I tend to just accept what I have. But it was so bad that I had to take it back, the cashier said it’s fine and I told him it wasn’t. He looked at the milk carton and said it was fine and the ice cream was fine too. Unfortunately it wasn’t. I’m not sure if they changed the owners, I’m not coming back. He didn’t even offer a different drink or make me another one.
