An amazing place we accidentally found. What a pleasurable and fascinating find. This place had a beautiful look from the beginning. Rustic but relatable. They had some very interesting foods like a bison burger and alligator, but I was blown away by the simple fried cheese, amazing I must say. I didn't try any of the wilder foods but they nailed the staples. My burger was perfect and the Fries were amazing. The waitress was attentive and Non-Obtrusive. We talked with a few customers and they said they had never had a bad dish, and trust me the menu has many options. So go check them out. We will be back!!!

Wow! Just wow! So since my wife and I moved to the Talladega area 18 months ago we have been looking for a spot that reminded us of the food in Fort Myers Florida, which had a BUNCH of great places to dine. Well, we found it! Bandits Bar and Grill in Sylacauga was truly a great dining experience for a sports bar! The motif in this place was above the bar here in this area. Very clean, very slick, pool tables, stage for live music, outdoor seating with bags and other things...just a great sports bar! So now, about service. Another home run! We sat ourselves and had a waitress come take our drink order in moments. When she brought our drinks back we told her we were first timers and asked what their special was. She gave us a tour of the menu, started with appetizers, went to sandwiches and finished with the entrees. They smoke turkey breast daily and she recommended it. Well, our next waitress, Sidney, took our orders. My wife got a lunch special, pulled pork BBQ and two sides, fries and baked beans, for $13.99 and I got a bacon cheeseburger and fries for the same, $13.99. So I asked Sidney to see if the Chef, Chef Ethan, would get me a slice of the fresh smoked turkey breast, just to try the house specialty. I said she could charge me if needed. Well, chef sent out a small bowl filled with the smoked turkey and WOW....It was amazing! Moist, tender and just the right amount of smoke for no charge! In conclusion, this will now be our go to spot for a lunch or nice dinner and when family comes in town we will share Bandits with all of them! Well done guys and gals! A big thumbs up!

This place is off the chains,Service was great the Atmosphere was outstanding The food was Awesome what got my attention was the coleslaw was the best ! I know no picture of my wife sandwich She had the Smoked Turkey sandwich with the sauce on the side it was mouth watering

Great service! Restaurant is everything you would want from a bar n grill. Fried pickles are chips but they were cooked perfectly. I ordered a steak, rare. It was cooked and seasoned to perfection! Definitely will be going back.

In town for a few days for work we decided to try August's BBQ out. This was one of the best BBQ I have had in multiple years of travel. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is great with cornhole boards to play once your finished. The loaded fry appetizer is enough for a few people. August the owner was even kind enough to talk to us for a while and staff was extremely friendly as well. We will be coming back when they have brisket night to give those a shot. Highly recommend you stop in and give the food a try. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing BBQ, ive yet to be disappointed anytime ive eaten here. Smoked Turkey was just perfect, very juicy and not over done smoke. The white BBQ sauce is perfect compliment to the turkey. Wish they had a few other options for sides, like bakes sweet potatoe or fresh vegetables. But overall its a very very good BBQ. Ill be back!! Oh and brisket is only available on Thursday and Friday.

The food I ordered was great. I ordered the Russell platter...smoked turkey, baby back ribs, and brisket. The smoked turkey was awesome...moist and flavourful. My sides were the potato salad and Mac and cheese. The potato salad was more like mashed potatoes with the trimmings. Now the Mac and cheese was just perfect. Not to wet and not to dry. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. It was Thursday night, bike night with live music.... nice.

Definitely a good spot if your looking for something to eat. The staff was great and the food was good. Plenty of seating and wasn't too busy. The beef nachos were excellent and so were the mushrooms. The firecracker shrimp were ok but I was expecting the shrimp to be tossed in a sauce and not just fried. Other than that they were still good. Definitely a good spot to eat when working out of town.

My first time at August's after having it recommended by several people to me. I went with the ribs and they were very good. The sauce is on the side so you can decide how much you want. The service was friendly with everyone being helpful. It's a very laid back place to grab a meal and a few drinks while you watch the game.

Let me say first, I like Bandits, but there is definitely room for improvement. The food is good, I love the turkey plate! We went last night for Karaoke and a good time was had by all at our large table. The problem most had at our table was with the service. The wait staff was nice, but they spend too much time talking with customers rather than getting the job done. In most establishments, you’ll get waited on by one person. We had different waitresses asking us our orders for food and drinks, and they messed them up, double orders, didn’t get some drinks, a couple of them were rude. This is basic restaurant management. 1 server per table. That way there’s no mistaking your clients. When we were waiting for our orders, I would look around and see wait staff sitting around the bar eating, hanging out at the greeting booth and around the pool table having laughs with patrons. Now it’s ok to interact with your customers, but anything more than a couple of minutes is out of hand! Especially when people are waiting to be served! I had to wait awhile to get my bill when we were ready to leave as well. Both my wife and my daughter have worked in restaurants in the past and they both noticed the lack of attention when it comes to the service. I have to put the blame on the management team there. Which that night seemed to be nonexistent. Bandits is a great place but if it does fail, it will be more than likely due to the mismanagement of the establishment. This is my personal opinion but also my experience.

Only time I ever went there was to see Johnathan East and Cameron Dubios play it has a terrible set up for a live band you can't even see them from sitting at the bar they have a big column blocking your view. Also soon as they took the stage almost everyone went outside. Why even have a band if nobody is going watch and listen to them wonder if they ever put in a real floor.

Been coming here since this place opened sat here 1 hour finally got drinks and now working on 2nd hour an waiter comes out to tell us we can't get what we ordered so I talk to bartender ask for owner and he states there not here so I ask about my food and bartender states I got to brand new waiters what you want me to do

Finally decided to stop in and try the food and it was a waste of time and money. First of all, I asked my waitress if the wings were cook to order and she replied yes. That was a lie, I'm sure they were reheated. The wings arr breaded which would've been great if they weren't so tiny and salt. The handful of fries were lukewarm. The onion blossom was decent although it looked like it was time for the grease to be changed. My daughter's chicken tenders were fresh and tiny, but they did give her a decent amount of them.
