How in the world did Syracuse become so blessed to have a wood fired brick oven pizzeria on this level of magnificence? The pizza dough is excellent, every topping is farm fresh from the garden and everything on the menu is an absolute delight! Make sure to stick around for the housemade desserts. The pistachio creme brulee is out of this world as is the chocolate hazelnut bundino! Ask for Mona if you want top notch service, fabulous suggestions, and a wonderfully friendly, smiling face! If you travel anywhere near this city you absolutely must pay homage to this excellent establishment!
My friend and I visiting Syracuse were so delighted by this place! It was a little busy, but no wait at all. Our server, Mona, was an absolutely charming and pleasant person to chat with (alongside her killer alcoholic drink recommendations!). Food came out very quickly after we ordered it, and tasted spectacular. I told the server that this was the best food we'd had in Syracuse on our trip so far. The restaurant itself felt warm and cozy, with nice lighting and a killer playlist (Olivia Dean, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, you get it). Even had a few parking spots up front, though all were taken that we saw. Hoping to come back here ASAP on my next trip up!
The restaurant was packed and still delivered incredibly fast, smooth service — everything came out quick and perfect. Owner Paul even took time to stop by our table, which really shows the pride he takes in his place. As a restaurant owner myself, this experience motivates me to keep all my establishments at this same high standard. Highly recommend!
Love coming in here and ordering the Calabrian Pizza. The food is always fast and hot and delicious, but the true star of the show is KP the bartender. She always greets me with a smile , but most importantly she always remembers my drink order. Keep up the good work guys!

Talk about a well-planned restaurant. Before opening, the owners toured Italy tasting pizzas and examining different wood-fired pizza ovens. They chose an oven and had the manufacturer ship it to Syracuse. Once assembled, they taste tested a thousand pizzas to identify the best ingredients, combinations, and cooking techniques, and only then selected a half dozen or so pizzas to put on the menu. Their meticulous preparation paid off. These are absolutely delicious gourmet pizzas that will have you coming back again and again. There are other items on the menu worth noting including arancini with a tomato dipping sauce for an appitizer, pasta dishes if you're not in the mood for pizza, and the richest pudding I've ever encountered, the chocolate-hazelnut budino, for dessert. The staff are very well trained, friendly, and efficient. They have indoor and patio dining. You can also eat at their attractive bar. UPDATE-1: This time the budino was a disappointment. It tasted like regular chocolate pudding. UPDATE-2: Tried the antipasto salad bowl for the first time thinking it was just a salad. I enjoyed the soppressata chips, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, and the red wine vinaigrette, but I didn't eat the ferro or the very fatty prosciutto.

Apizza Regionale was such a great surprise! We came in on a busy night and still felt completely taken care of—everyone was so attentive and friendly, even people who weren’t technically our server. Service like that goes a long way! Now let’s talk about the pizza—wow. You can really tell it’s homemade and wood-fired. Everything tasted fresh, the crust had that perfect crisp, and the ingredients were clearly high quality. Definitely some of the best pizza we’ve had in a while. The only thing I’d mention is that the space inside felt a little tight with lots of tables but honestly, it didn’t bother us. It was still had a good energy overall. We’d absolutely go back. Great food, amazing service, and a fun casual night out!

It really felt like a team effort, and it made the experience feel seamless and welcoming. The atmosphere was the only slight knock, and even then it wasn’t a big deal. The interior felt a little crowded with tables, and had a bit of a cafeteria vibe—but it didn’t take away from the overall experience at all. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great pizza, excellent service, and a casual, energetic spot in Syracuse!

Stopped in for dinner and glad I did! Locally owned and locally sourced combined with friendly staff? A great combination! From apps to mains (the pizza is fantastic) this place is good for the whole family.
Delicious pizza in Syracuse. Love the slightly burnt crust with bubbles and refined ingredients. Pizzas are a bit small and expensive (around 20 dollars per pie) but the flavors are great and the ingredients are top notch. Just go in expecting to pay. I'd definitely return.
What a phenomenal pizza place. Was up in Syracuse for a volleyball tournament/college visit and found this place which was close to where we are staying. Place is the real deal amazing staff, amazing food, and amazing atmosphere. Reminds me of a pizza places home in Brooklyn. If you are in the area please go check this place out you will not be disappointed.
Came here with the husband for a date night. I loved the ambiance and the drinks were tasty. We had a snafu with one of the appetizers but the owner himself came apologized and fixed the issue immediately.. He went above and beyond making it right. This is a place that cares about the customer experience and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
What a gem of a spot in downtown Syracuse! The tiny kitchen and gorgeous pizza oven suffice for this team to put out some very impressive food, and of course the pizzas are the star of the show. Creative pizza specials might feature house made lamb sausage or even tuna. There’s a nice wine list with a cheap bottle special one day a week, the bartender is fun and talented, and it’s worth saving room for the olive oil cake for dessert.
First time here and it won't be the last! The pizza was exceptional. You can really taste how fresh the ingredients are and it's all from regions in NYS! The service was quick, the atmosphere comfortable but a little on the cramped side. My only true complaint was the unsweetened iced tea. It was not brewed, it tasted more like Nestea from a fountain machine.
Apizza is quickly becoming my favorite restaurant in Syracuse. Although, I would add, my first visit was a 3.5. In fairness to the restaurant, it was an exceptionally busy night and not only did my pizza take a long time, but it was burnt in several places. However, I loved the vibe and the bartenders were super helpful and attentive, so it did not dissuade me from trying it again. AND I am SOOOO glad I did. I introduced my sister to the restaurant (she's a big foodie and has dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants around the world) and she loved it - so kudos to the team at Apizza. I also found that it is a great place to go before a Syracuse Crunch game. They change their menu seasonally (as you'll notice with my pics) and have different specials. My go to Pizza is the APIZZA Pizza with Arugula. Helpful Hint: Ask for the Calabrian Chile Oil - it's a great add to any pizza.

6/15 Update Went back again to this place in our second Trip to Syracuse . Its a must go place for Pizza We trued the fried Zucchini again along with the Broccoli Pizza and the Mozzarella cheese Pizza . The Boudin is a must to have in dessert . Excellent place for Pizza and a glass of wine. The fried Zucchini is a must in appetizer. The Pizzas are fresh and quality of the dough was really great. Great ambience and great place for dinner if you are in Syracuse . There is a parking in the front and there is parking opposite to the restaurant. The wine was pretty reasonably priced and really had a good vibe. Definitely a great place for dinner Update 5/10/25 Extremely unethical practice as seating is not done when you sign in but by the number of folks you have in the group They do not have a registration system and it’s maintained by writing on a piece of paper and seated at the whim of the person maintaining that cheat sheet If you have three folks in the group you will be superseded by groups with 4 or 5 people even if they come later than you !
Spectacular pizza, the dough,the sauce, the cheese ratio, really really good. Meatballs were excellent too. The Asparagus Risotto was a little too hard for me, we like it more creamy. The linguine with chicken Parmesan was average. My only complaint is the service, the lady who took care of us was distracted, not paying attention to us. if we needed anything, we had to ask the other staff to get help.
Beautiful atmosphere, good pizza, nice location. Arancini is delicious, but small. Pizza dough is tasty. Tried the Salsiccia (sausage) pizza and added meatball to it. It was delicious. Tried the Rucolo and I didn’t like it very much. No sauce, and fontina cheese flavour is strong (like provolone). If you’re not a fan of Parmesan, make sure you tell them so they don’t add it to your pizza. I found the flavour to be a bit too strong. Service was very friendly, but at the same time very slow. It took 20 min to get the appetizer. Then another 25 min to get the pizzas. Overall I liked this place, and I’m sure the patio in the summer will be beautiful.
Fantastic pizza using local ingredients. The space is clean and the menu is not expansive, which we appreciated. Our order of Apizza pizza was airy, lightly cheesy and not your typical NY pizza. The pizza was underwhelming. I often order a red pie (sauce only no cheese) with at least one topping. I expect there to actually be sauce on a sauce pie.
