Ambience was perfect, the food was excellent, but the ahi tuna was a bit strong, i think its because of the wasabi. The steak was a bit rough for a medium but still amazing. Service was top notch, every staff was attentive and professional

We celebrated our 6th anniversary here and it was unforgettable. We started with the Sizzling Crab Cakes, served on a hot plate with lemon butter and thoughtfully split for us. The ribeye was the star of the night. Cooked to absolute perfection, seasoned just right, and carved tableside by our server before being finished with a touch of freshly cracked pepper. Every bite was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. We also ordered the au gratin as a side. Creamy, rich, and the perfect complement to the steak. For dessert, we were treated to a complimentary anniversary sweet, but we also ordered the crème brûlée. Perfectly caramelized on top, silky custard underneath, and one of the best we’ve ever had. Two desserts in one night was pure indulgence. The service was flawless! Warm, attentive, and genuinely celebratory. Our server, Mac, even took a photo of us, printed it, and handed it over as a keepsake, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend Ruth’s Chris for any special occasion. The food, service, and little details truly make it worth it.

During GCQ/Alert Level 3: This is the perfect fine dining restaurant to celebrate two very special occasions, our anniversary and my birthday. The food is outstanding. The crab cakes were so delicious, and the 16oz Ribeye steak(good for 2) is so good! It is so tender and juicy, no need for any condiments or sauces. It is perfectly seasoned with salt and black pepper. The sides tasted great. They also gave us complimentary desserts...it is heavenly!!! The staff were very attentive and friendly. We ordered seared scallops as an appetizer. Then we had our main course, Seared Ahi-Tuna, 12 oz Ribeye Steak, mashed potatoes, and Grilled Portobello Mushrooms. The dishes were exceptionally prepared, and they're full of flavor! So, if you crave delicious steaks, this restaurant will never disappoint! Highly recommended! 😊 Aug 2025: Can you believe it’s been three years since our last visit? My daughter was so excited to celebrate her birthday here! Once again, the food was incredible—absolutely on point—and the service was nothing short of impeccable. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake and an excellent photo to cherish this special day. What a memorable experience!

This may not be at the very top of our list when it comes to the best steaks in Manila — though they are still really delicious — but they definitely stand out when it comes to ambience and service. The place is perfect for romantic dinners, spacious enough to give each guest a sense of privacy without feeling crowded. The staff were incredibly accommodating, patiently answering our questions, helping us choose the right steak doneness to match our preferences, and even suggesting wine pairings to complete the experience. We tried both the Porterhouse and Ribeye, but I have to say — I’m a little biased toward their Ribeye. It was flavorful, juicy, and exactly how I like it.

Steak at Ruth’s is amazing. As a steak enthusiast, every order I had of their steak cooked medium rare has been phenomenal. They get the doneness of the steak right and never missed. Their barbecued shrimp is my favorite seafood speciality in their menu. Their desserts such as the caramelized banana cream pie is also a personal favorite. The overall atmosphere of the place is cozy and classy.

Had a great dining experience at [Restaurant Name]! The dishes were absolutely delicious — especially the RIB EYE, Filet, Crab Cakes, mac and cheese and Au gratin. The staff were friendly and attentive special mention to Jars who assisted us, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Definitely a place I’d recommend for my family and friends. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

Highly recommended restaurant for special occasions. The food is of high quality and very tasty which justifies the price. Here is what we ordered: The lobster bisque has a strong flavor with lobster bits. Their signature salad is very good and the blue cheese complements the other components of the dish The crab cake is packed with meat and well seasoned. The ribeye steak was perfectly cooked but quite bland, although there are salt and pepper available. The asparagus with hollandaise is a nice side to the steak. The chessecake is quite big and tasted good. Overall, it was a great dining experience. The servers are attentive and the place has a relaxing vibe. They even gave a photo after dining since they knew we dined to celebrate a birthday!

We've just got married! With my partner, We decided to celebrate our special day here in Ruth's Cris overall our dining experience was superb from food to customer service it exceeded our expectations. Our heart is full since Jars made efforts to our special day from service to dining experience and to our souvenir picture here at Ruth's Cris I do appreciate it so much we're so happy! Everyone was nice and I hope to visit again soon with my special loved ones. I would definitely recommend this place!

I tried this place after seeing it in a list of good steak places in the metro. And it didn’t disappoint! I like it that they have several sizes of steaks that I can choose from according to my appetite. The quality of the steak and the doneness are just great. The lyonnaise potatoes are a wonderful discovery. And the lobster bisque is also great, albeit very flavorful. The ambience is elegant but not stiff so I like it. Worth coming back.

The service is outstanding! Right from walking in and being welcomed by Ms. Angela, to being assisted the whole stay by Jars, it's rare to find a restaurant that manages to fully maintain their hospitality until the end. We will definitely comeback again.

We had our anniversary dinner here with our LO. They're super kid friendly. They handed out some coloring book and crayolas for my LO. This is the best place to celebrate anything aside from the complimentary dessert, they can also take your pictures and they'll print it out for you.

It's up there as one of the best steakhouses in Manila! The highlight is definitely tomawahawk steak. It was super tender and flavorful, and the temperature was perfect. Crabs and shrimp dishes we got are also spot on. Lastly, their side dishes are all so good: asparagus, mushrooms, potatoes. Tip: you can ask them to replace your hot plate to sear the meat more to your liking - oldies I was with doesn't like to see pink meat

One of the BEST fine dining experience I’ve ever had. The place is very cozy and clean. Staffs were very attentive to their customers and they even remember our names. The 16oz-rib eye can fill up a stomach of 3 people. Blue crab cakes never disappoints and their side dishes have a generous amount. And their cheesecake? It’s a cherry on top! You wouldn’t mind paying ₱₱₱₱!!!

A great place to celebrate special occasions. We enjoyed the food especially the steak and salad. They even make celebrations more memorable by giving a complimentary dessert and a printed photo of you that they also took. It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth a try!

We visited the restaurant for our anniversary, and were astounded with our experience. The interior is very elegant and beautifully designed. We enjoyed our dinner at the train theme area, set in a hallway that connects the main dining room from the bar. The menu items are priced very reasonably, and the food is delicious and well presented. We loved the ribeye steak (order it medium so it gets cooked to medium rare perfection on the hot plate) and mashed potatoes. Their crab cakes and lobster bisque are very good starters to get the appetite going. For dessert, they even gave us a free cake for our anniversary! All in all, a very accommodating staff, good food, and amazing value for money. Highly recommended!

Best steak I’ve ever tried so far. The service (shout out to Miss Jars for the superb service) was really accomodating with our requests. The ambiance is perfect for special occasions. Food was great, super recommended.

Fancy steakhouse. Great ambiance and service. For special occasions. Lobster bisque was good. Ruth's Chop Salad was interesting, so many complex flavors but a bit on the fatty side. Crab cake with asparagus was really good. Steak rice was meh, super not worth the price. Porterhouse was perfectly cooked, the cut was very thick. But the sirloin was not very tender, I had a bit of difficulty cutting it with my knife and chewing some parts was a bit of a chore. There are better steaks out there but if you're here for the ambiance and the service, the experience is worth the price. Oh, and their complimentary butter was very high quality! The complimentary bread was good too.

The steak is spot on! It's very tender and well seasoned. Doneness was correct and evenly cooked. Service was fine, or maybe i'm just expecting a really great service compared to other steakhouse we're tried. The ambiance is really good. Steak was really the highlight of the night. We also love the Chop Salad, this might be the easiest salad to eat with our experience, and it tastes good as well. Recommend for special occasions and date night.

The highlights of our meal were the Blue Crab Cakes and Carpaccio. Definite must trys! We had the Petite Filet and the Ribeye and asked for medium rare. Both were served on the rarer side but were saved by the heated plates. Although the seasoning on the steaks was great, the actual quality of the meat fell short — there was too much fat and gristle (more than what’s expected). So while we didn’t mind the cook, we were disappointed because we did expect higher quality cuts. The Barbecued Shrimp also had good flavor, but was slightly overcooked so it was a little too tough and rubbery. The Lyonnaise potatoes and Creamed Spinach paired nicely with the steaks. Dessert and coffee were great. Service was good. Overall we still had a really enjoyable lunch and would come back to try other dishes and reorder the crab cakes.

First time dining here for our early Valentine’s date and I must say that the Ribeye was indeed top notch. At first, I had doubts the 16oz Ribeye would suffice for the both of us but damn, I wasn’t even able to finish my half. I gotta say it honestly tasted better than Mamou’s which should really be the case considering the price difference. Ruth’s Chop Salad, for me, was a bit lacking. Although the same thing can be said in terms of serving size as we were not able to finish the entire plate. The complimentary bread was fine. To me, it tasted very “complimentary-esque”. Texas Roadhouse’s complimentary bread, in my opinion, was better. Lobster Bisque was too salty for me. And the Crab Cakes definitely were not for me. It has this weird taste that lingered to my mouth for the rest of the evening that makes me throw up. I don’t know. Maybe it really was not for me. Au Gratin, on the other hand, was perfecto. The cheese was overloading and balanced out everything we ate that night. Crème brulée was definitely one of the highlights that night. Had hesitations to try this one out as I am very reserved when it comes to sweet desserts but fortunately, the balance between sweet and salty was just right. It was satisfying how you can feel the sweet crusty top layer just melts in your mouth. Overall, I think the place and the ambience were great. Food, too. Just a bit lacking for its price point y’know? May not be the most expensive steakhouse in the country but it’s up there and it’s missing the overall wow factor as the steak was the only dish I found to be really priceworthy.

Lobster bisque - a little on the fishy side 3/5 Ahi Tuna dish - this was the show stopper for me! Really loved it - not a fan of tuna but I liked this one. 5/5 Chopped Salad - nice! You'll get the hint of bleu cheese 4/5 Ribeye steak - nothing THAT special if you eat steak 4/5 Wild mushrooms - this was on the salty side but a real good pair for the steak 4/5 Cheesecake - BIG PORTION! Creamy and tangy, we loved it but we're so full!! 5/5

This is the first Philippine branch of the American steak chain Ruth's Chris. They have a nice selection of steaks here from corn-fed cattle from the US so the beef is tender and flavourful. I like the fillets because they're thick and the 8oz is a good size and thickness. They have seafood, salads and desserts as well which are all good. If you wish to avoid the crowds, weekend nights are packed as well as Sunday lunch. What I don't like about this place is that the toilets are outside the restaurant which isn't friendly to seniors as well as PWDs. Going to the toilet is a hassle.

We were excited to eat here for father's day since we've heard so much about it from friends and family. The highlight of our meal was the carpaccio! Super sulit since it had salad and bread with it. Would definitely go back to order this again ❤️ The steak was seasoned really well, but the meat had a lot of fat in it so it was a bit hard to eat. The other dishes were just alright. Servers were super attentive to our needs too and gave us a complimentary dessert for the occasion 😊

Havent had much fillet mignon, but the one served was mushy. Otherwise, ribeye was well seasoned. Nothing spectacular and it doesnt boast a great beef, steak flavor. I think fairly priced, I just have to find the best steak cut for me. Service was fine, there was a point that attention was difficult to get. The sitting booth was nice, and noise will depend on the crowd you dine with.

Never been to Ruth's Chris anywhere else, my first time. Ribeye was tender, but it stops there. The seasoning was a little too basic for my liking (just salt and pepper), and it would seem that the steak was broiled, with hot clarified butter poured over to complete the cooking. So it ended up being rather greasy and one-dimensional in flavor. A balance of umami and a nice crust would have made it better. Did not help that it was not evenly cooked on the inside. BBQ shrimp was okay, sauce wasn't overpowering but the shrimp was veering on the rubbery side. Tasted fine as an appetizer. Side of sauteed spinach was a little old and very bland, creme brule was standard but a little heavy on the sweetness. I have to say though - they served the best bread rolls I've ever had! Warm, crispy on the outside but airy and fluffy on the inside. Heavenly when paired with butter. Service was a mixed bag, tended to be rather mechanical, I did notice attentiveness drop towards the end of my meal. Payment card took a while to return, and they did not bat an eye when I left the restaurant. Very fancy and cozy interior, perfect for quiet date nights. Overall given the price point, this was a disappointment. Won't be raring to come back anytime soon, unless there was a very specific occassion that warranted the particular setup and location.

My Experience was bad, Its my birthday and they didn’t serve me the cake that I must have. All table near by has been served a cake and picture. Until I asked for bill, still didn’t receive any cake from my birthday. IM NOT HAPPY. NEVER AGAIN! Train your staff again! The server was J something. A girl :). I don’t like the way she assist also. I ordered a dessert for my self instead.

My boyfriend brought me here to eat. We ordered a roast chicken, steak, and shrimp, but it was too greasy and salty. People who prefer lighter food often recommend this restaurant, but once you’re inside, they constantly push you to buy alcohol. Even after the meal, they bring a plate of desserts and ask which one you want. If you’re not quick-witted, you might end up being tricked.

We had a very disappointing experience at Ruth’s Chris Steak House on Valentine’s Day. My husband and I had a 9:30 PM reservation and arrived at 9:00 PM. We politely asked if we could sit at the bar while waiting, but the staff member assisting us, Belle, immediately said “No” before we could even finish speaking. It felt rude and dismissive. We were told to wait outside without courtesy or proper explanation. Even when we returned a few minutes before our reservation time, her approach remained unwelcoming. The ambiance was also disappointing. There was a loud band playing directly in front of the restaurant, making the environment very noisy and not romantic at all. We were never informed about this during booking, which should have been properly communicated.After dinner, the waiter even asked me to pass the empty plates to him because he couldn’t reach them. For a restaurant that claims to offer a premium dining experience, this felt unprofessional and inappropriate.

We were so disappointed with our Valentine’s date. My husband booked our date last December only to be greeted by a nasty receptionist who assumed that my husband had cancelled our booking. Long story short, their system had cancelled our booking automatically. They were able to accommodate our booking which we appreciated. Because of this miscommunication, we weren’t informed that there was a minimum spend required (10,000 total bill-which they implemented only for Valentine’s Day) . With this, we were forced to comply with the total bill. With the inconvenience they already caused with our booking, the manager didn’t allow us not to comply even if we told her that we would reach the 8k bill. This caused us a very stressful and unhappy date, very expensive. Food was good though but not the five star service you expect for the prices they are charging.
