Nos encantó. Fuimos por recomendación y fue un acierto total. Sin duda el plato estrella es el atún con trufa, esta increíble. El equilibrio entre la trufa, el atún y el huevo es brutal, un plato de 10 sin duda. La ensaladilla y las alcachofas también estaba muy ricas. Sus camareros super atentos y amables, repartieron abanicos ya que hacia algo de calor.

Sitio muy concurrido de Tarifa. Al comensal que vaya que sepa que casi con seguridad esperará cola. Cola por otro lado bastante bien gestionada para el volumen de gente que tienen y sin perder la sonrisa que ya es un mérito para la locura que supone esperar y hacer cola aquí. En terraza no sirven tapas. Todo lo q probamos nos gustó mucho, ensaladilla, mini hamburguesa de retinto, aguacate y langostinos con wasabi y el tartar de atún picante con huevo frito. Aunque estaba buenísima, cambiaría la ensaladilla por otro plato porque al ser media si o si (salvo que pidas tapa dentro del local) llena mucho y prefiero otro tipo de platos. Sitio recomendable, buenos precios, calidad y sabores riquisimos.

Buen ambiente, servicio y comida. Fue nuestro primero lugar elegido para comer nada más llegar a Tarifa y, sin duda, un acierto seguro. Cuando llegas te apuntas en una lista de espera para tener mesa pero no os preocupéis que suele ir muy rápidos. La comida estaba buenísima, especialmente, el atún con huevo y trufa.

El sitio con mas ambiente para estas fechas en tarifa fue un día miercoles, el servicio excelente de 10, super simpaticos y serviciales nos atendio Isma un encanto. La comida buen precio y riquisima, pedimos croquetas de choco y jamon, el montadito de atun y los quesos wow simplemente todo delisioso.

Siempre será mi favorito de Tarifa, si. Bien, me han quitado mis maravillosos calamares que eran súper característicos, para ahora darlos en el formato que tiene todo el mundo; el atún que tienen aquí es una barbaridad. La ensaladilla de langostinos, las croquetas, la tortilla de patatas con jamón ibérico, el lagartija, la tosta de boquerones y sobretodo, el tartar de atún picante o trufado con huevo frito a la perfección es algo absolutamente imprescindible. El atún barbacoa tb me flipa. Los vinos son mis favoritos, todos! Es un 10 de 10 con una calidad precio imbatibles y unas raciones mega abundantes. Súper recomendable.

PARADA OBLIGATORIA! Ir a tarifa es venir aqui. El ambiente que tiene, el sitio, los camareros.. TODO! Nosotros estuvimos dos veces en 4 dias, probamos la mejor ensaladilla que he probado nunca, las croquetas de jamon buenisimas, y las de choco. Tambien probamos los montaditos de calamares 10/10. Y LO MEJOR: El tartar de atun con huevo trufado… no he comido nada mejor que eso. Que rico!

Bar 100% recomendable no te lo puedes perder si vienes a Tarifa. Hay que esperar cola para poder comer pero no estuvimos más de 30 minutos. La comida nos la sirvieron rápido y está muy buena. El personal muy amable y siempre con una buena cara a pesar del volumen de trabajo. Comimos una tapa de ensaladilla muy buena y otra de albóndigas. Una tortilla para dos está genial, muy buena también. Todo eso y la bebida 16€.

El mejor sitio para comer en tarifa. Hemos estado 2 días y hemos repetido en 2 ocasiones por lo bueno que estaba todo y su increíble calidad precio. Tienen el mejor salmorejo que he probado (pero el resto de platos no se quedan atrás, un jamón buenísimo, unas albóndigas con su salsa riquísima y la hamburguesa de retinto..todo bueno!!) Los camareros son rápidos y atienden super bien y con una sonrisa. Super recomendable!!

Fantastic food - the Japanese BBQ Tuna was very delicious. We also ordered iberian lagarto meat served with delicious veggies, they were blanched: still crunchy and full of juice. And the meat itself was full of taste even though it did not have that much fat in it, it was juicy. And there was a guy playing different tunes on acoustic guitar, made the evening even better. Aah yes, the grilled shrimps is also a good starter, and you can order only half of the size of many dishes. Huge recommendation, enjoy.

I couldn't recommend El Lola more.. this was our most memorable meal during our 10 day trip to Spain. We had the spicy tuna tartar, goat cheese, chicken meatballs, and pistachio cream dessert. All were delicious but I'd travel back to Tarifa just to have the tuna tartar again. The meat was so fresh, not a fatty piece in it, and such a generous portion. On top of the food, the wine, service, and atmosphere as we sat outside were all top notch.

This is a 5 star just because I cannot give a 10! The guys working there are simply amazing, they do whatever it takes to give you a table and serve you in the best and fast way possible! The food is very good and the location is super flamenco style with skirts, flamenco shoes and pictures! Loved it

LOLA in Tarifa is an absolute must! The food is out of this world – from the house signature Frito Lola to the spicy tuna tartare (whaaaat a mezl 🤩) every bite is delicious. The atmosphere is full of flamenco-style charm and energy. Just remember, it’s first come, first serve, so get there a little early. Totally worth it!

Great atmosphere, food good, we had various half plates, which were delicious and substantial, the calamari sliders were delish, as was the boquerones on toast, followed by the Iberian ‘Lagato’ which had the most amazing chargrilled flavor. Service was sketchy as they were sooo busy but everyone was very polite. They don’t take reservations, so get there between 7:30-8pm if you don’t want to queue for an hour or more. Very much worth a visit!

If you're looking for a place where you can eat authentic spanish food, in a proper spanish (part of) town, for a reasonable price; this is your place. Beware it gets busy, but even if you have to wait for a table, trust me, it is worth the wait. The tuna tartar was a very good portion and as fresh as it gets. Croquettas are home-made and flavourful, and the tortilla iberica which is salmorejo with tortilla and ham was incredible. Highly recommended!

Lola a must visit during your stay at Tarifa. It can be really busy, but its worth it. The atmosphere is fantastic. Service great! Good with kids. Food above standards. A good Rioja for 3 euro a glas, just perfect! Overal we enjoyed our last evening on the terrace. Take the tuna platter to share👌and the jamon croquetas👍

Tarifa's most famous tapas bar—justifiably so. All three dishes we had were delicious, above all the tuna tartare. Big portions, low prices. Scenic terrace, which is always packed in the summer months. Since they don't make reservations, the only way to avoid long cues is to arrive early. We came at 8:30PM and waited for ONLY 30 minutes. But when we left at 10PM, there were so many people waiting in the street that it seemed like "fiestas". Good thing is that you can order drinks while waiting.

Ambiente muy bueno, camareros muy simpáticos, comida muy rica, precio normal. Le quito una estrella por la larga espera, estuvimos casi 1 hora de cola y cuando nos tocó (éramos 5) nos separaron dos mesas y nos quedaron en 1 sola para aprovechar otra mesa, estábamos muy apretadas y después de haber esperado 1 hora no creo que fuese lo mas acertado. Por lo demás recomendable 100%

Good quality tapas and friendly staff. The best was the truffled egg tuna tartar, that was a standout. The tuna tataki was less memorable but good, as were the cuttlefish croquettes.

Overhyped. After reading all good reviews we expected a really exceptional tapas and tuna. Croquettes were fine (good but nothing beyond that), same as tuna tartare. The Japanese BBQ tuna was disappointing - the sauce what too thick and the fish was served on some kind of sticky powder. Since we couldn't figure out what it was, we asked the waiter. He explained ot was flour with octopus ink. It was rather tasteless. sticky and unpleasant. Not my taste, but maybe someone else would like it.

This place is super popular and way too busy. There are equally good choices nearby. As such, the atmosphere with the street full of waiting patrons continually staring at you is a tad annoying. We arrived at 8 and waited 5min. Those that arrived at 8:30 waited till 9:30 to be seated. The highlight is the service. Super fast, not one set waiter for your table, ultra-attentive, and fun/friendly. Food is excellent, but it is also excellent in the mutliple adjacent restaurants. El Lola specializes in tuna; also meat and veggie offerings. Anything heated/cooked is very salty, thus the flavor. The rare tuna was great - no salt but good balance of olive oil and garlic. Photos are of the Tataki Tuna and the Presa Iberica de Bellota. I do not recommend the presa.

A very nice restaurant with delicious food and well-sized portions. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. However, it was quite crowded, and we ended up at a less comfortable table with bar stools and an uneven surface, which took away a bit from the dining experience. In my opinion, the prices are a little too high for what you actually get – still good, but not fully matching the cost.

I finally got to try this place because it’s always so busy. We got there early and finally got a table. Love the street where the restaurant is in. The service could improve. It takes a long time to order, and that’s because they don’t take your order as you are ready but in stead they go in order of tables from one side to the other. Since I was in the last end, it took them like 20 minutes to take our order even though we were ready. Their food was delicious. Everything that we had was good except for their tuna carrillada which is overrated and overpriced. Staff was very nice, helpful and genuine.

We visited lunch time and it was very busy, We ordered a lot of different dishes and the best one was the langostine potato salad. The ham croquettes were tasty but too soft inside. Mini burger was also very tasty but the grilled veg did not go down well and the disaster was the squid slider. The squid was so tough and chewy that I could not eat it. I told the waitress but still had to pay for it. Service was quick and location pleasant. We sat outside on the terrace and according to the menu, tapas was only served at the bar so you are forced to order bigger portions if you want to enjoy the outdoor.

El local abre a las 19:00, y llegamos a las 19:30 donde aún quedaban un par de mesas libres en la terraza. A las 20:00 ya había cola de espera. Según he visto en vídeos hay gente que ha esperado hasta 3 horas, si vas y te encuentras en esa situación, no esperes, busca otro restaurante. Es comida normal, nada que reseñar, no está mala pero tampoco para esas largas esperas. Además para 4 tapas nos tiramos casi dos horas, son muy lentos.
