He ido recientemente con mi mujer, y la sorpresa fue agradable en todos los sentidos. Optamos por una tabla de quesos para compartir, y de segundo cogimos rape y bacalao. Y los probamos los dos y estaban riquísimos... soy un poco goloso y me quede con ganas de algo dulce y elegí la crema catalana. Volveremos seguro, si el pescado estaba así de rico, no podemos dejar de probar las hamburguesas o carnes!

Debéis visitar Filosofia. El lugar es muy acogedor. La calidad de los productos es muy buena (me encantó el magret de pato). Sergi y Santi nos ofrecieron un gran servicio.... y también nos recomendaron un vino, que resultó una gran elección! Queda pendiente, para otra visita, la hamburguesa de mango y foie!!!

Fuimos mayormente porque soy Celíaca y vimos que ofrecían cosas que se podían adaptar muy bien es decir podrían hacer cambios para que fuera sin gluten!! Además de ser todo de muy buena calidad y muy atentos,también muy rápidos a la hora de traer la comida que eso se agradece! Si queréis pasar una buena cena/comida etc lo recomiendo,nosotras solo estábamos un día allí en Tarragona pero cenamos super bien !!

Tanto el servicio, comida como el local un 10. Todo muy rico y fresco. Vinimos por primera vez y hemos quedado encantados. El pan con tomate calentito, la provolone y la hamburguesa deliciosos. Atención impecable. Gracias Sergi y Santi! Así da gusto.

Gran descubrimiento, lugar curioso por su disposición y decoración. El personal muy atento y amable, preguntan primero si tienes alguna intolerancia o restricción alimentaria. Muy ágiles en el servicio, de seguida empiezan a sacar platos. La comida es de buena calidad, bien elaborada y una muy buena presentación. Tiene también terraza.

Todo delicioso. Ingredientes de calidad y cocinados con gusto. Combinaciones originales. La hamburguesa gorgonzola está espectacularmente jugosa y la ensalada xató buenísima. Precios acordes a la calidad y la placita tranquila.

La comida estuvo muy rica, con platos bien preparados y llenos de sabor. Además, el trato fue excelente: el personal fue amable y atento en todo momento. Sin duda, un lugar para repetir y recomendar.

Todo el conjunto fue perfecto. El personal muy agradable, fuí con unos amigos y nos recomendaron un vino blanco (Marta Violet) que se ha convertido en mi favorito. Pedimos varios entrantes y unas hamburguesas que estaban deliciosas. De postres, el tiramisú de limón que estaba espectacular! Aparte el local tiene mucho encanto y está muy buen ubicado. Recomendable 100% sin ninguna duda!

We had a fantastic dining experience. The food was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I ordered the Grilled Quartet, which featured a delicious mix of Creole chorizo, Catalan egg sausage, Wagyu blood sausage, and spicy chorizo. Each had its own distinct flavor and was perfectly cooked — a real treat for anyone who loves bold, smoky meats. My wife went for the venison, which was beautifully tender and full of rich, earthy flavor. Our daughter had a burger, and even that was a standout — juicy, well-seasoned, and clearly made with quality ingredients. To start, we shared a xató salad and some Patatas Bravas. Both were excellent choices. The xató was fresh and flavorful, and the Patatas Bravas came with a unique black sauce that was a surprising twist on a classic — it looked intriguing and tasted even better. The service was top-notch throughout. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and he made a real effort to explain each dish to us, even with a bit of a language barrier. It really added a personal touch to the meal. Overall, an unforgettable experience — fantastic food, warm service, and a great atmosphere. We’d definitely come back.

I love this restaurant! The service was excellent, and they speak English very well. Although I didn’t dine inside, the outdoor seating was cozy and comfortable. The food was delicious, I tried a few dishes from my family members and went with the 400g burger myself. It was amazing, but a bit too greasy for my taste. By the end, the plate was quite greasy, and I felt a little nauseous. Despite that, I’d still rate the experience 5/5.

We had such an amazing experience that we managed to get there for lunch and for dinner. Food is amazing, staff is super welcoming and the location is perfect for some quality time! I would recommend the secredo iberico, bravas, provolone with duck and beef tartar. All steaks are amazing. A nice surprise was also that the staff changed the wine glasses with the new bottle we ordered. Highly recommend!

Very nice, authentic place. Food was lovely, especially tuna tartare. As a dessert i had pannacotta and it was delicious! Service was ok, waiter was rushing me a bit to order faster (there were just 3 tables) in the beginning.

We are so happy we stumbled upon Filosofia! By chance we saw some google reviews that mentioned “vegan burger” and we are so glad we saw this. The staff were kind and friendly and the owner himself asked about our order and explained carefully about the vegan and vegetarian options. He was personally knowledgeable and we even got patatas bravas (which was a great surprise). I suggest adding “vegan options” in the google description so vegans know it is a great place to stop at for a delicious burger and potatoes as it didn’t show in my original google search. Nice outdoor seating and inside is beautiful. Will return when in Tarragona. Thanks for the vegan options!

Dear all, Our first visit to Tarragona and in a local restaurant here. Now i know why this restaurant indeed is one of the best rated 🙏🏻😀. The really cosy and roman style walls restaurant fits this old town. We started with croquettes and salad with burrata as a starter together with local Red Sangria 🥳 and then grilled cod fish and for me Red Tuna.. fabulous main courses 🙏🏻♥️. Then don't forget to ask for the deserts 🍰.. and the famous Chartreuse liqueur, made from 130 different herbs, 55% alcohol which perfectly digests all this nice food. It was a great pleasure to get to know the owners Ivona and Eloie. Muchas gracias once more to the chef for the lovely dishes. 😍

We had a wonderful experience in this restaurant. First we met the waitress who turned out to be the owner of this place! She was so friendly to us. We had a great chat. I had coffee and as a main dish we tried grilled monk fish with romanesco sauce which is traditional in this area. It was the first time I tried this fish and it was soooo tasty! Same for the sauce. The portion of the food was appropriate, not too much nor too little. But then as a dessert we tried "crema de catalana" which is a traditional dessert here. And let me tell you - it was heavenly good!!! Overall this restaurant deserves 5 stars 😊

Very nice place to have dinner outside. The friendly waiter speaks different languages (including ours: Dutch), so it was easier to talk. They really make you feel welcome. The carpaccio, burgers and dessert were tasteful and good! We hope to get back here soon.

El sitio es agradable, tiene varias arcadas de piedra que dan un toque de calidez y recogimiento al lugar. El personal es muy amable y atento. La carta es variada y ofrece diversas opciones vegetarianas y veganas. Hemos comido patatas bravas, queso provolone con trufa y jamón de pato, entrecot, rape y hamburguesa vegana. Al provolone le faltaba un toque de calor, por lo que la textura era algo gomosa. Aún así el sabor y la presentación estaban bien. El rape estaba un poco duro, pero el sabor y el acompañamiento estaban genial. Por el resto todo perfecto: las bravas estaban buenísimas y la hamburguesa y la carne eran muy sabrosas. Nos recomendaron un vino según nuestras preferencias y fue un acierto total.

Tras hacer 500 km no haber dormido y haber pasado el día de playa y turisteo por Tarragona había llegado el momento de cenar. Hicimos caso a algunas reseñas e imágenes de este Restaurante con un nombre que ya inspira. Bonita decoración, acogedor. Unos camareros muy amables y profesionales. Empezamos con una ensalada Xató y media de pan ( de cristal ) con tomate, la ensalada estaba estupenda, a pesar de la salsa nada pesada, una ración adecuada para compartir. Pedimos el rape a la parrilla que estaba jugoso y con muy buena textura, el solomillo de ciervo hecho en su punto, con el sabor fuerte de este tipo de carne, acompañado de grosellas y unas escamas de sal que me encantaron. La patata a la parrilla y los tomates cherry de acompañamiento perfecto. No comimos postre. Dos copas de vino para acompañar la comida fue lo único que bebimos. Total alrededor de 65 €Nos ha encantado. Estamos pensando en repetir antes de acabar estás vacaciones.

Very well cooked sirloin steak and the burgers are maaaassive! Always one for a perfectly fried egg on a burger. Provolone cheese dip good for a starter too, and the patatas bra as weee good too, if you manage to brace the slightly murky looking sauce that comes with them, it’s worth it. The tables scattered around outside are lovely, in a corner courtyard with a seesaw for the kids. Perhaps this was lost in translation a bit but service was a little abrupt.

We ordered deep fried potato with black sauce, steak and salad. The salad was a good starter. It has some textured cheese with orange, and it was a bomb. The fries was okay, but the black sauce was a unique approach to a traditional bravas. The steak was also good, we ordered entrecot with chimchurri and truffle sauces. It was soft and good for two sharing (if you have other dishes to share).

The pictures look amazing but my Steak Entrecôte was the fattiest, most gristly steak ever. Half the steak was charred fat and when I informed the server, he just shrugged his shoulder and said they were all like that. The bartender manager didn’t seem to care less except to get paid.
