Un sitio encantador justo al lado de la Catedral. Tienen menú del día a buen precio, porque los platos son bastante elaborados, abundantes y muy ricos. Los postres también muy ricos, aunque no haya fotos. El personal es super amable, y el servicio rápido y profesional. Desde luego, un acierto.

Un menú muy bueno, trato genial y muy buen ambiente. Hay muchos platos a escoger, creo que van cambiando de platos a menudo. Calidad precio estupedo.

Quedamos con unos familiares que visitaban la ciudad, y lo elegimos por la proximidad a la Catedral. Comimos de lujo, platos y postres exquisitos. Y el trato del personal, superando la comida. Empatía y cordialidad que nos hicieron sentir como en casa. El local, con encanto, decoración cuidada y con historia, que nos iban comentando al servirnos los platos. Mis familiares quedaron encantados, y nosotros, volveremos sin duda, y lo recomendaremos.

La decoración, el servicio y la comida me parecieron excelentes. Recomiendo encarecidamente el bacalao con muselina de manzana, y el timbal de patata, morcilla y huevo, muy buenos ambos. Como pega, indicaré que el local es pequeño y me sentí algo acongojado dentro. Aún así, merece la pena pagar el precio del menú (30€). Lo recomiendo totalmente.

Hoy he probado por primera vez el menú de este restaurante y he salido muy contento. El trato de la propietaria y su pareja ha sido excelente, el ambiente acogedor y la comida muy buena. Entre semana ofrecen un menú variado, con opciones para todos los gustos, a un precio muy competitivo. ¡Enhorabuena por el gran trabajo!

Hemos hecho una cena de empresa y ha sido la mejor cena de empresa en la que he cenado en mi vida! El servicio, la coordinacion, los platos, la calidad…no se puede pedir más Celia ha sabido darnos una noche increible! Tuvimos un problema ajeno al retaurante por culpa nuestra …y reaccionó ella y su staff de una forma que poca gente lo hubiera hecho…para repetir sin dudarlo! Profesionales como la copa de un pino!

El mejor menú que he comido en mi Vida. Elaboración, cantidad y calidad en su justa medida. Es el sitio para degustar una comida casera pero hecha con el punto de elaboración que te enamora los sentidos. Bonito y con la amabilidad que tanto se desea cuando viajas. No os lo perdáis porque es una gran experiencia.

El local es muy bonito en el casco antiguo de Tarragona , la decoración rústica acorde a lo que esperas en la zona; la comida exquisita (carta y menú de temporada), el precio es acorde con su calidad. Para destacar su excelente servicio y amabilidad. Lugar 100% recomendable.

This restaurant is wonderful! The food is excellent - authentic Spanish fare. We had wonderful steamed fish and grilled potatoes - delicious! The entrees were also very good. We also had a dessert which was also very good. The service was quick, professional and friendly. We found this to be a very reasonable price point considering the quality and amount of food we had.

We stopped for a menu of the day. A lovely restaurant to the side of the cathedral. They use an outdoor space just around the corner which is where we decided to sit. 22€ each for 3 courses, Wine and water included. Tima drank the wine. Casta and Madge ordered large beers. Really enjoyed our visit.

2025 update. Visited Tarragona again and we could not wait to eat at the restaurant. Visited twice. New food discoveries and menu items. As usual, carefully developed and explained. Posted photos. Familiar dishes like bacalao and new ones as well. Prices are up but they are up everywhere. Fixed price menu a good deal and offers five to six options, would be twice as much back home in NYC. Eating here is a pleasure. ..... We came all the way from New York to Tarragona because we wanted to visit the Roman ruins and this restaurant again. Visited in 2014. Still remember that meal. Now they have an outside terrace. In the heat of July might or might not be a better option than indoors. The fixed menu is 22 euros for lunch after 1pm on weekdays. In the morning A la carte breakfast from 8am. I had to ask for a hours fix on Google maps but they keep rejecting it. They close at 4 every day. Not open on Tuesday. I had the fresh codfish and the cannelloni. Both extraordinary in quality. Price include water bottle and bread and dessert. They serve only one kind of beer, had never had it before but I liked it. Good wine list and prices. Very busy, I recommend making a reservation. And three or four choices of homemade desserts. One of the best Restaurants I've been to. And I've posted hundreds of reviews... Well, we went back again twice. Weekend inclusive menu is even more rich and sophisticated and a bit more euros (30). Well worth it. We don't know how she does it. Well, we do know because we chatted with her a few times, long hours, attention to detail and lots of pride. And we'll trained staff. Not even going to get into the menu options, every day and every week they change. If you love food visit this place.

this place is amazing. our waiter was very kind, we had 3 people do the set price lunch so we got an entire bottle of wine and an entire bottle of water to share. for my starter i got the smoked salmon salad with honey mustard dressing, it was delicious and citrusy and fresh. the pieces of salmon were thick which i was very happy about considering the lunch being very fairly priced! for my main i got the duck confit with mashed potatoes and red berry sauce, it tasted like the best version of a thanksgiving meal, i highly recommend it. for dessert i got the cheesecake, but unfortunately we took it to go and i left it with a friend, im sure it would have been just as delicious as everything else here!

This is a great restaurant for a good lunch. They have a very good lunch menu which gives you 3 courses, half a bottle of wine, 0.5L of water and a piece of bread for only 22€. I had the beef canaloni and the Dorada which were both really good. The wine was also very nice and fitted with the menu. The desert was typical from the region and was byfar the best.

Amazing location. Interior was lovely. Food was fantastic but the best was the service. Our server made us feel so welcomed. We were here for lunch. A group of 7 hikers. The menu del dia was so good and had options for vegetarian and fish or meat eaters. As stated on the menu, there is a set price of eighteen euros. A great price for a large starter, main, postre & wine! Presentation was incredible. I highly recommend!!

Excellent quality product and high cooking standards in a stylish old house attached to the Roman Wall in Tarragona’s historic centre. They own a cozzy terrace right in front of the Dom. Celia, the owner, will attend you professionally and willingly. If you chat with her, she will let you know that she is the cook of the desserts that they offer. Do not miss the ‘orange cream’, her invention. Really yummy with citrusy lightness. I really recommend, if you have the chance, the pork ribs cook at slow temperature during many hours, amazing! If you like the artichokes, do not miss these ones with ‘Idiazabal’ cheese. La Cuineta will be a constant during our visits to Tarragona.

Amazing view with the terrace next to the church, making you to think this might be a tourist trap. I am glad I was wrong. Had some amazing pork feet for breakfast and we decided to come back for lunch after a few hours. The grilled veggie ,tapas, and seefood were all good. I have tried better fishes in some other place in Tarragona but also with 2-3x higher prices. For a 18 eur set lunch menus, it was amazing. No to mention with the cathedral bell sounds in the background.

Only one thing- we have ordered wine which was not included in lunch offer(we didn't know that) and of course that was for the additional price.
